STS Meso #3 is all about “Strength”. You will be using weights that are in the 80% to 90% range of your 1RM and doing reps in the 6 to 8 rep range. In the above picture Cathe and Greg perform a dumbbell concentration curl.
Deazie and Greg in the above picture perform a barbell Curl on the last day of rehearsals. This is an excellent photo showing how two people can do the same exercise in STS and still be challenged. You just need to select a weight that is right for you.
Tomorrow is the last day for STS rehearsals. Cathe will have some private meetings with some of the cast next week, but most of time now will be spent getting ready for filming which will start on March 8th.

In one of the Leg routines in Meso #3 we will use a mix of traditional endurance weight exercises and slow and controlled Plyometrics. The plyometrics featured in STS will be done at about half the speed of the same movements done in our cardio workouts. Plyometrics are great for developing power and explosive strength.
