Later today we will be sharing pictures with you from STS Total Body. STS Total Body has been designed to be used before or after completing the main STS three or six month program. Though STS Total Body is similar in style to the main STS program and uses heavy weights, there are some important differences. For instance, STS Total Body was filmed to tempo for most of the exercises, unlike the main STS program. Depending on your weight selection, body lever length, and your fatigue rate it will not always be possible to keep to the beat for every exercise, but that is okay and expected.
In STS Total Body Cathe keeps you moving from exercise to exercise by using tri-sets. Sets are kept to only two per exercise with 16 reps performed on the first round and 12 reps on the second round. These differnces in STS Total Body should challenge your body in different ways and help to prevent boredom and mental fatigue.
This picture you see is from the warm-up from STS Total Body which as you can see is a weighted and functional warm-up, unlike the main STS program that uses a more cardio based warm-up.
