I’ve been using Cathe’s workouts for about 5 years now. Before STS, I was always lifting the same weight loads for every resistance workout. When I heard Cathe was coming out with STS I knew this was a program I must buy and try so that I can gain some muscle and strength.

I did do the 1RM test and that helped me tremendously for the workout because I didn’t have to guess how much weight I need to lift for each exercise. I would just print my exercise card and have all the weight loads listed for each exercise I had to do.

I started STS on January 3, 2010. On the first day of my STS workout I decided to weigh and measure myself. I followed the rotation Cathe provided on the forums. I would log my workouts on the Workout Manager to keep track of all my workouts and results, etc. The weight loads that were recommended for me to lift for each exercise were great! Imagine, I lifted way heavier than I ever thought I could.other-dscn29592

I remember before STS I could only lift about 30-35 lb Barbell for Bench Press and when I was on Meso 3 (Strength) I was lifting 60 lb Barbell for Bench Press. I was in shock when I saw that I could lift that much and I felt so strong too! When I first started STS I couldn’t do push ups on my toes so I did them all on my knees. When I was on Meso 3 I decided to do some push ups on my toes to practice and was blown away when I found out I could do them on my toes now! WOOHOO!!!!!!! STS has done so much for me.

I lift so much heavier now. I feel stronger. I finally look nicely toned up. I lost 7 lbs and about 4 inches overall with STS in just 3 months. This program was just awesome and so much fun! Every time I have to do something around the house (like lifting something heavy) that needs my strength I tell my daughter and husband…STS Baby! Because they know how much strength I’ve gained with STS and know how happy I am about it. I look forward to doing STS again this year. Thanks C athe!!! STS ROCKS!!!!! WOOHOO!!!
