Towards the end of my pregnancy with my second son in 2008 I weighed 220 pounds. As my due date was approaching, I realized that having gained 50 pounds I was going to have to do something to get the weight off this time around. I thought of Cathe.

I had seen Cathe years ago on Fit TV. Her workouts always seemed so intense and advanced. I wondered how she could lift such heavy weights, including a barbell, and have such a sleek physique. She looked so strong and healthy, and yet not bulky. I never thought I could do her workouts. I wanted to, but I was intimidated.

After having her in my mind for about a month after I gave birth, I found her website online. I looked through her selection of dvds and decided to try the beginner dvd, Basic Step and Body Fusion. I bought the dvd along with the resistance band. It arrived soon after I ordered it and I had to wait patiently for my six week post-partum appointment to give it a try. After doing the first workout, winded and so out of shape, I was hooked. I started doing Basic Step three times a week, then four. After about a month, I worked my way up to Body Fusion. Soon after that I started using the resistance band workouts on the dvd. I admit, I became frustrated because the weight came off so s-l-o-w-l-y. I lost maybe two or three pounds a month the first few months, but I kept at it.

tough, strong and feminine. She is the whole package. Working out with her, as challenging as it is (and it is challenging) is FUN!

I soon wanted more. I bought Supersets and Push and Pull. I just used my dumbells with these as I did not have a barbell (yet). I then boot Boot Camp and Muscle Endurance. I started running for cardio days, but then as that became a bit boring, I bought Body Max 2, Low Max and Low Impact Circuit, which helped me to take off even more weight and get more toned. In addition, when my birthday came I asked for a barbell.

I am now doing what I never thought I could. I train using heavy weights just like Cathe and I love every minute of it.

I started working out with Cathe to lose the weight, but she gave me so much more than that. Yes, I lost the baby weight (and then some) I now weigh 155 pounds, and for someone who is 5’9″ and weighed 170 BEFORE having kids, I am ecstatic about it. I fit into clothes tha tI never thought I would ever be able to wear. However, the weight is not even important to me anymore. I am STRONG! I have muscles, real muscles in my arms, stomach and legs. I can lift my four-year-old in one arm, hold my baby in the other and walk without any problem. I took my children to Sesame Place this summer and I climbed the ropes obstacle with my son with no problem. Other parents were huffing and puffing, I was laughing and ready to do it again when we finished. I feel amazing. I have been working out with Cathe for over a year now, and even though I have yet to meet her (I intend to go to a road show one day) I feel such a deep sense of gratitude.

Cathe, you truly changed my life in more ways than I could count. The impact you have had on me, I am a better mother and wife because of you. you have helped me reach my weight-loss goal and so much more!
