I am 46. I was in reasonably good shape and fairly active but my weekend activities were eclipsed by three or four days of recovery. While I’ve never been overweight I was starting to gain a few pounds as my boredom with my workout regimen grew.
I was running a few days a week but quickly grew bored with that. My knees and hips just couldn’t take it. One day about a year and a half ago, I got home from work with no energy or motivation to drag myself down to the gym and workout. I sat down on the couch and started flipping around the TV channels and came across Fit TV. You were there doing a chest and triceps workout. It didn’t take long before I was up off the couch doing the workout with you. Afterwards I FELT GREAT! A little sore but in a good way. I made a point to get home from work every day in time to catch your show. It wasn’t long before I got online and started ordering several of your DVD workouts. Since then I do one workout every day except for weekends. That’s when I go out and enjoy the fruits of my labor.
I now have the fitness level and energy to go on long mountain bike rides at high altitude, (Summit County, CO) climb like a champ and have more fun than ever! I slalom ski on several of Colorado’s beautiful lakes in the summer and in the winter I now telemark ski (which before I never had the physical strength to do) and have the time of my life doing. All of that because I do the workouts.
I just recently ordered the STS series as I have reached a bit of a plateau and want to keep it fun and interesting. I’m really excited to get started. Thanks for what you do. Thanks for helping me change my life and have fun with my life. Kelli
