4 cups shredded cabbage
1 cup shredded carrot
(save time buy prepackaged coleslaw mix in produce…works just as well)
1/4 cup Greek yogurt mayonnaise (recipe follows)
1 tsp. celery seed (optional)

Greek Yogurt Style Mayonnaise
1 cup Greek yogurt (plain)
2 tsp. cider vinegar
2 tsp. Dijon mustard
2 tsp. honey (or sugar) (even stevia if u prefer)
1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil preferably
1 tsp. herb blend seasoning (like Mrs. Dash salt free kind of choice)

In a medium bowl, mix together the cabbage and carrot. Add the Greek yogurt mayonnaise and celery seed, if you use it, and stir gently to mix well.

Instructions on how to prepare the greek yogurt Mayo:
Mix all ingredients together until creamy. Refrigerate

** As stated use the already cut and shredded cabbage and carrots in bag found in produce…
Or… If u ike more veggies in coleslaw get the pre-package pre-cut mix in a bag… works perfect & Saves you time**
**refriigerate at least one hour before serving**

  3. Excellent! Thanks for posting this recipe, I haven’t indulged in coleslaw in years because of the fat, but all of these ingredients are not only not bad for me, they’re actually good for me! And it tastes great! This will be my new go-to easy side.

  4. Hi! I just wanted to say thank you so much for this recipe! I modified it a little bit (added sour cream) and used maple sugar to sweeten. Everyone loved it and I just wish it was summer so I could make it more often!!

  5. Mine is refrigerating now! Can’t wait to try it. Used pure maple syrup instead of honey/sweetener 🙂 thanks for the healthy alternative!
