Seared, Not Fried Chicken Legs

Ingredients

1 lbs of Organic Free Range Chicken Legs
3/4 cup oat flour
1 organic egg
3/4 cup organic milk
sea salt and black pepper to taste
olive oil

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350, and preheat a cast iron skillet with a little olive oil. Mix dry ingredients in one bowl, and wet ingredients in another. Dip each leg in egg/milk wash, and then in flour mixture and then sear the outside of the legs in skillet for about 3-4 mins on all sides, just enough to crisp up the crust. Then, with tongs, transfer all the legs to a glass baking dish and bake for about 30 mins until legs are cooked through and sizzling! Enjoy with some mashed cauliflower, and a side salad! Fried chicken lovers won’t even miss the real thing! The picture speaks for itself!
