4 – 8 oz cans organic tomato paste
1 t onion powder
1/2 t garlic powder
1/2 t liquid stevia
1 t baking soda
3 cups water
6 cups organic 1% or milk of choice
Put all ingredients except milk in a stockpot and cool medium/high heat, stirring to combine. The soup will foam up a bit from the baking soda, which is necessary to neutralize the acidity and hep blend in with the milk. In a large glass measuring cup or bowl, heat 6 cups milk in 2 batches in the microwave, about 4-5 minutes each to bring it to the temp of the tomato soup. After heating, pour milk directly into the pot and stir to combine. Add more or less milk for the consistency you prefer. Tastes great with any sandwich and reheats well!
