Ingredients
18 tbsp flaxseed
6 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1 egg
¼ cup fat-free buttery spray
(ex. Olivo or I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter)
3 tbs canola oil
1 and ½ tsp vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp. cornstarch
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
Dark Chocolate Chips (as many as desired; roughly ¾ cup)
Directions:
FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY 🙂
– Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees
– In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cornstarch; set aside
– In a separate bowl, combine flaxseed, brown sugar and granulated sugar
– Using a mixer on low speed, add egg and vanilla
– Blend in buttery spray and canola oil on low speed
– Mix in flour mixture gradually with mixer
– Add in chocolate chips
– Scoop onto greased cookie sheet (this is important for the recipe lacks butter)
– Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are slightly browned
– Allow 5 minutes to cool and remove from cookie sheet
– Enjoy these DELICIOUS and HEALTHY cookies with a glass of cold fat-free or low-fat milk 🙂
