Ingredients
BREAD:
2 tbsp oat flour
2 tbsp almond flour
1 Eggland’s Best egg
SANDWICH SUGGESTIONS:
cheese (any kind you like!)
ham or turkey slices
tomato slices
spinach leaves
crumbled bacon
onions
olives
avocado
Directions:
preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine bread ingredients and spread batter onto parchment lined baking sheet into two rounds. Bake for 10 minutes.
Makes 2 rounds (1 sandwich)
For the Grilled Cheese:
Heat panini press (or skillet.) Top a slice of the low carb bread with cheese, tomatoes and ham (I like to add a bit of crumbled bacon too. Use anything you love!)
Place sandwich in the press and heat through until cheese is all gooey and melted.
OPTIONAL: spread a little butter onto the outside of the bread before grilling. Dip the sandwich into some ranch dressing before eating. YUM!
