Our new Ripped with HiiT videos are now available to all OnDemand Customers on our newest streaming OnDemand network which uses our newest Cathe Player. The new Cathe Player for the first time allows viewers on their computer to easily select and go to any chapter in the video they’re watching. Only our Ripped with HiiT videos are currently on the new network, but over the next several weeks we will start transferring all of our OnDemand videos to our new Cathe Player and network.
Our new OnDemand network has several advantages over our current network. First, we stream at three different bit rates instead of just one bit rate. This should help customers that have marginal download speeds since you can now select a lower quality feed by clicking on the players HD button. The good news is we’ve also really tweaked our settings so that our video files are smaller, but higher quality. This helps too. Lastly, our video files are on cached servers all over the world and this means you’re usually only one hop away from connecting to one of our media servers – at the most two hops away. With Cathe OnDemand you don’t have to worry about storing or losing Cathe video files on your computer’s hard drive or defective DVDs. Since Cathe OnDemand streams video to your computer the files are stored on our cloud site where you can access them whenever you like. You can also access your videos from wherever you travel by simply logging in to your account. This makes streaming a great option for when you travel.
