We finished filming the last of the new workouts last night at about 10pm and Cathe, Jai and Lorraine finished with a “Rock Star” performance of Kickbox. We normally don’t like to over hype any presale workout as it can be hard to live up to the expectations, but last night was truly special. Between NFL’s crew and our staff there were about 30 people in our studio when Kickbox was performed. At the end of the cardio filming everyone gave Cathe, Jai and Lorraine a standing ovation and then no matter whom you looked at or talked to you got the same reaction – WOW! – The EXCITEMENT in the room was just amazing
In the 18 years we’ve been making fitness workouts I’ve only witnessed three other occasions that were even close to the spontaneous crew reaction last night and they were Step N Motion 1, Kick, Punch and Crunch and Imax 2.
Speaking of Kick, Punch and Crunch – you will really like the cardio section in Cathe’s new Kickbox workout if you also like KPC . It simply rocks from the time you press play until it ends. Last night Cathe was in her zone and her performance was incredible and unmatched from anything I’ve ever seen.
It has been interesting watching Cathe progress through the years with her boxing and kickbox form. Cardio Kicks was Cathe’s first kickbox inspired video and her technique reflected someone that was fairly new to boxing and kickbox form and movement. In Kick, Punch and Crunch you saw a marked improvement in Cathe’s technique and this new workout became many people’s favorite kickbox routine. Last night I watched Cathe’s performance mainly through a camera lens. It was like watching a world class professional fighter, maybe better. Her form was just impeccable and her energy and stamina were almost beyond belief. Though this workout is shorter than Kick, Punch and Crunch, it is also an order of magnitude more intense. Even if you don’t enjoy kickbox routines you will at least want to make sure to watch and appreciate this incredible performance from Cathe, Jai and Lorraine.
