8 Days to Go!

Happy August 17th everybody!

Last nights filmed rehearsal was a toughie but goodie…..we worked so hard that we were literally drenched. I had to change my shirt in the middle of rehearsal and wash my face since the salt from my sweat actually crystalized on my skin. Ok, maybe a little too much information, ha! But we loved the challenge…Bring It On!

I’ll let Chris post the chapter points of Body Max 2 but I wanted to share with you that I think you’re really going to enjoy this workout. You will get a VERY challenging workout on both 6 AND 8 inches so choose your height based on just how hard you want to push that day. I have tried both heights and have to say that each gives the routine a completely different feel which is an added bonus.

Body Max 2 begins with a step warm up followed by a fun and mostly athletic based solid step routine. After this step routine (approx 25 to 30 minutes and longer if including the step warm up) comes the power circuit segment.

While I love the previous section, I think the power circuit segment is my favorite. It has a very Imax-ish 2 feeling about it. It’s 4 circuits. Each circuit contains 1) a step cardio routine done 6 times in a row. No breakdown, but easy enough to grasp after a few attempts since its a fun factor mix of old and new moves. 2) A blast phase with, again, no breakdown yet easy to grasp (and GASP, yikes) and finally, 3) a leg shaping drill. Its a ton of fun and time flies by. The circuit segment of the workout is approx. 25 minutes long. Then finally, we conclude with all upper body weight training, abs, and stretch. This portion is approx. 30 minutes long. Tonight we all fully agreed that this workout has most definitely defended the “Eat your Wheaties workout” title.

Now I am off to finalize some details and pick up clothing for our workout attire. More on that in the upcoming days. Tonight we have clothing try ons and then headshot pictures of the cast to accompany their biographies.
