before-nov2009bathingsuitfrontI have struggled with being overweight most of my adult life. have made several attempts at weight loss programs where I’d lose 10 or 20 pounds only to have it come right back again. Seven months ago I reached 167 pounds. I felt out of shape and it was hard just tying my sneaker laces. I decided that I really needed to lose weight for health related reason as I was recently diagnosed with Sjogrens Syndrome.

I started to cut down on food portions and started to eat better food choices. However, it was when I started to exercise to Cathe’s DVD workouts, I found the weight started to melt off my body. I love working out to Cathe’s DVDs. She is motivating and easy to follow.

I knew it would be very difficult to commit to 30 to 45 minutes per day unless I was able to wake up earlier and do my exercisesafter-pinkbikina3 before I started my day. At first I had to force myself out of bed but before long, I was looking forward to it. Now there is never an excuse why I can’t find the time to work out to Cathe. Because I have a nice assortment of her DVDs, I am able to mix and match the exercises to what I need at each given session.

Just 7 months ago, I was squeezing into a size 14 pant size. Now, I am a size 6. Not only do I feel healthier, I am must stronger too.
I eat all day long as long as I keep my overall calories below 1900 per day.

Exercise is the spice of life and I will never allow myself to go back to my old couch potato habits. I will continue to keep working out to Cathe’s DVDs as they are an integral part of my life. At 55, I am in post menopause but I feel better than I did when I was in my twenties.
