My back is feeling even better today so I did 30 min. of The Wedding Video and later Yoga Relax premix 1. I think that is 30 min. too.

I wanted to share something with you that I discovered today by doing my usual thing on the internet. It's a woman by the name of Renee Stephens and has a listening program about weight loss called "Inside Out Weight Loss". FREE, really. She has many many podcasts to listen to. I've only heard one called Prologue, and there is only one sponsor in this one (very short intermission) just seconds long and then she continues on with her continued 20 min. podcast.
Know that this podcast of losing weight won't interfere with your diet program at all, in fact it will enhance it and keep it going for you with much encouragement and continued success.

Do me a favor and listen to this podcast and even the 2nd one. If you don't see something in there that will help with our circumstances then you can always stop. But please just give up 20 min. and listen. I think there is potential learning about ourselves in making better and healthier choices.
I normally am very skeptical about diets and people, but there is something different about her.

I just finished listening to episode 1 and I have to tell you it was powerful! You don't have to subscribe to anything, so just ignore that part of it. There are assignments to do and in this episode you write down two questions on a sheet of paper and start answering them. You don't have to download anything. It sounds like we may have a journal in the near future and you can just pick up a journal like thingy in the store . I'm looking forward to journaling.


I'll come back later with my results on working out, and please let me know what you think about these podcasts. I'm hoping we can do this together.

Hi everyone! This is like my moment of sanctuary during a hectic work day. Yesterday I did Xtrain Cardio leg blast and today was Xtrain bis and tris. Fun workout--goes very fast. Like summer here this week. Ripken and I are taking shorter walks--the warmer weather is too hard on my sweet pup. I know it disappoints him but I cannot risk him falling apart on a walk. Sometimes it is hard to be a good dog mommy.

Janie: I will check out the podcast. I have a podcast app on my iphone. I wonder if I can access these podcasts via that app?

ReneeP: love Low Max--kind of an oldie, but truly a classic Cathe.

BTW, I got a shout out from Shadowpup today. I'm going to try to get back to her.

Michelle i dont blame u on shorter walks if u think he cant take it. Id hate for him to have a hard time.
U still liking the xtrain? I kinda miss them. But i cant do all of them in,a day. Lol i love low max alot of people say its boring but i think if u try to go deeper and all, u can really make it burn .. It isnt hard bit i like not hard lol.

Janie how do i get to tbe podcast? Can i get it through itunes? Id love something powerful to motivate my mouth to stop munching lol

Muscleax today ouch i forgot low pulses! Insert green sick man yuk. I hate thows it hurts my back. Grr i will be sore i think ... All in all i liked it but it was hard to me.

Michelle, Great job on yesterday's XTrain Cardio leg blast and today's XTrain bis and tris. Also the walks with Ripken. You are a good mommy to him. It's for his own good to have short walks on hotter days. Please give hugs to Shadowpup for me and tell her I miss her.

ReneeP, When I went to listen to the podcast I pressed listen and it worked that way. Try that and see what happens. I think she can help us a lot.

It was a little cooler this morning and a nice breeze was blowing so Ripken and I took a slightly longer walk. Then I did IMAX2--first time I got through blast 9 (with the plie jacks) with no modification. I was huffing and puffing big-time but I made it. I attribute this to To The Max, CrossTrain, and Tabatacise which all include plie jacks. Feeling good about my increased endurance.

Janie: I'll try to get a message to Shadowpup this weekend. Is your back still hurting some? Don't forget yoga is another good way to exercise and help you back. As you knowk, I'm partial to Cathe's yoga relax.

ReneeP: I'm assuming you did Muscle Max--one of Cahte's great overall weight training dvds. I'm enjoying the April rotation which mixes XTRAIN with Cathe's other workouts. Nice weekly combinations.

Today was a 1 hr. long walk with Rolly. Yes!

Michelle, Good job on the walk with Ripken. And also on IMAX2. Congratulations on your first time through blast 9! Awesome job! I'm so proud of you. My back doesn't hurt any longer. I'm so glad for that. That's what I've been doing when I can with the back ache. I think it did help.

Hi.. I have had a freaking headache last night and today! Im so bummed but i guess there is other reasons u get headache.. Like stress or pollen. I hope its just sinus cause pollen here u can actualy see.. Yellow powder everywhere. I was shpose to do afterburn yesterday but i endef up bathing in euclyiptous (sp) ? And then yoga.. No help i then woke up this morning with it. Grrr.
Janie im so glad ur back is better! I hate back aches.

Michelle that is good u got through with no modifications.. I think xtrain did help. I can actually do air jacks now cause of xtrain. Not sure y i can now aand couldnt before. But that is awesome. So far all the wo are easier after xtrain except to the max and crossfire! Afterburn isnt easier just my form is better. Lol
 
DrillMax--done. We had some really good rain here this morning that cleared out the pollen (at least for a while). Now the grass will definitely need to be cut once things dry out. I sure hope our yard service shows up tomorrow to cut the grass. Then I can put more stuff down to work on the weeds and make it grow more. LOL!

ReneeP: I hear you; I don't think the workouts every get easier; it is a matter of improving endurance, form, strength and being able to work harder. My guess is that the pollen is giving you the headache. Did you get any rain from the front that came through earlier today? Hope so.

Janie: now you can start kicking your exercise up a little with your back feeling better. I have subscribed to Renee Stephens' podcast on my iphone using my podcast app. Haven't listened yet, but I found her which I figure is the first step. I will let you know what I think. Thanks for the referral.

Michelle yes we did get some rain. It was strange it rained hard for 10 minutes, then sun came out! It was wonderful. Drill max is on the list sometime during this rotation i think. That one is a bugar too!

I did afterburn today. Tomorrow is gym style cest and tris i dont think i have that one so i may have to find a substitute. What workout has chest and tris?
My head is better today plus i got my hair dyed darker today... It may be alittle to dark. Not sure yet.

Hi janie!! How r u today? I just heard the podcast.. it sounds good,. i may try to listen more.. i think id love to be NATURALY slim lol i think it is achiveable, it is like we are conditioned to eat junk, if you dont eat junk then peopel will say you dont eat normal. really i think Americans are not eating normally that is y we are so fat as a nation.. I am proud ot say yesterday i bought a bag of veggies on the way home and ate it.. it was cool because i was actualy craving veggies..

I can't do chest

because,as i have said before, the doctor game a very tiny woman huge implants. I also cannot do shoulders. I started again today after a long time as my back hurts so much. I did the upper body portion of Muscle Max, and tomorrow I will try Lower Body Blast.
 
Catlin. Im proud of u! You keep going! And u dont give up.. Amazing! Hope u been doing good otherwise... What about a,job? Have u been able to have mpre luck there?
I did low impact step and bis n tris caught up now. Thank Gosh. Lol
 
Rest day today. Leaving today for East of the Mountains for a week. The place I'm staying doesn't have a computer, so continue one without me. I'll miss you guys. (hugs)

Busy weekend--I apologize for being MIA. But, my exercise did not suffer: did XTRAIN burn sets chest, back, and shoulders on Saturday, HIIT 40/20 and STS abs with stability ball on Sunday, and Crossfire today! I didn't take a break last week so I could get back on my regular rotation schedule of starting my week on Friday and having my breakday on Thursday. So, let's just say I am really, really looking forward to this Thursday.

Janie: enjoy your visit East of the mountains and we will look forward to hearing from you when you come home.

ReneeP: You are really in the rotation groove now! Isn't it nice to have the workouts set already? And Cathe's rotations really do provide results. I don't know how she does it, but she does.

Caitlin: nice to have you checking in again. Sorry to hear about your issue with chest work. That's a bummer. Is it a matter of not being able to do chest work at all or is it an issue with the weight amount?

Michelle, do u think if i can do cf and ttm i can do HIIT dvd? Ts the one u said u did the other day. I think one on there is a 30/30? I would lije to get it but not if it is to high impact. I mean i can do cf because it isnt constant jumping.
 
My doctor told me never to do chest or shoulders.

The doctor who did my implants lost his license and his whole please is gutted. He deserved it. It was too late for me to sue him, but I have to live with pain in my back for the rest of my life.

yesterday I did the cardio portion of kick punch and crunch, and my legs with Muscle Max

I do not think i am ready for step yet, but I will do some hi lo today and my arms.
 
Ordered butts n gut circuit max cardio kicks dvd! Anyone have these? What did u like or not like about them.
I heard alot of great reviews on B and G ...,
 
Hi ladies--enjoying a very busy work week. Exercise: Tuesday was XTRAIN burn sets bis and tris and core 1; today was XTRAIN Legs. You know me and the leg workouts: a love-hate relationship. Kind of dread them but then really enjoy doing them.

ReneeP: love B&G--one of my all time favorites. I have Circuit Max/Cardio Kicks--it is not one of my favorites. I think I done each workout at least once, maybe twice. Cathe doesn't put them on her rotations much and you know I'm a big user of Cathe's rotations so that is really the driving reason for not doing them so much. B&G travels really well because you can do everything without equipment (and still have DOMS) even if you don't have weights and a ball handy. Enjoy!

Caitlin: I have to ask: can't you get the implants removed? If you are uncomfortable and in pain, isn't that an option?

Hi ladies AT and gym style cbs for me today.
I am kinda indifferent right now. I had been hurting in wrist off and on for Bout a yr now. I went to orthopedist he did xrays. Nothing he sees Going on. Go back for followup and he seems to suspicion RA ... Same thing my mom had.i dont want it. He claaims there is alot of things can be done to prevent deformity. But i dont see how. It was only two yrs ago mom was battlng it. I wont have apt til say three months is soonist an RA doctor will be able to see me. Honestly id rather not know. It can effect ur organs and eventualy die early. I dont want that. I am scarred.
But i am praying i can handle what ever it is.. i am not going to talk or worry about it anymore til i go and they find out for sure.. i will keep exercising and eat as good as i can..

ha ha i hate leg workouts to!! but i know i need it, they are really weak for legs lol
