I am very impressed that you are going to Quantico, and I know what it is, but I will not ask any questions. I posted in Open Discussion about what the crazy people downstairs from me are doing. My stress level is through the roof, and my pulse is too high.
 
Hi Ladies,

So I taught up at the Recreation Center in the Mountains. I have cut my classes back because now that I am living in Boulder the commute just doesn't make any sense, but I am not ready to let it go entirely yet either so I have committed to teaching my two classes Monday Night and one class Tuesday Morning through the summer and I will just stay at a friends' house until that time. My ladies are upset but what can I do?

So two classes Monday
Tuesday Pilates
Today I did Pure Strength Back and Biceps.

I don't know if I will get a chance to workout tomorrow as I have to take my daughters all the way to way south Denver for the Dyslexia training and I have a meeting with CU Denver looking into their Physical Therapy program.

Friday it's lawyers and clients all day.....:confused::rolleyes:

And ofcourse the children and their routines!;)
 
wow i really need to get some cardio in soon....maybe I should do a month of just cardio and like 2 full body routines a week....
 
Today was an hour long intermittent walk with Rolly. We drive to a trail across the street from a school.

Laury, I love Boulder, it's so breathtakingly beautiful! Your decision with two classes a week is a wise one under your circumstances. Try not to fret over it, you are doing the best you can do. Great work on the two classes Mon., Pilates on Tues. and today's PS back and biceps. What does the Dyslexia training involve? What did you find out about the CU Cenver Physical Therapy program? Love the idea of cardio all week and 2 full body routines a week. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. I think I'd like to do a rotation like that in May. Thank you for the idea.

I slept with my heart rate monitor

And, when I woke up it was sixty; I remember the days when my resting pulse was 40. I am going to do some high impact aerboics today, and my upper body. I can't wait until I get get to a gym; I am so tired of working out at home.

Catlin, If you decide not to workout at home, will you be taking Cathe to the Gym with you?

Hi everyone. It has been a busy week. Thankfully, I have stayed up to date with my workouts and I started the last week of the April rotation today: body blast legs and glutes.

Laura: it's good that you are trying to set a "normal" routine. We are all creatures of habit and our bodies like "routine." It is nice that you have a loyal group at your exercise classes but you have to do what is right/good for you right now and for your girls. Sounds like you are still interested in pursuing an advanced degree in physical therapy--good for you!

Caitlin: if you feel that you need to get back to the gym, them I'm right there with you (well, in spirit).

Janie: give that sweet pup a big hug and a kiss from me. My sweet pup is still hanging in there. We worked out an arrangement with his groomer to get him in this week. She had us bring him in on a "light" day and she arranged her schedule so they could get Rippy bathed, dried, and groomed in 2 hours. Still wore him out but he looks and smells so wonderful. I think he feels better being clean too.

Very busy at work this week and will stay that way through the next month, at the least. If I'm missing in action it is because work has taken over. but never fear, the workouts will get done.

Did Ride last night. All I can say is Yowza! I modified too and only went for 35 min.

Michelle, Great job on body blast legs and glutes. I gave my little Rolly a hug and kiss from you. He liked it. Our Ripken must be very handsome these days. Glad to hear even when you are busy you still plan on working out and taking care of yourself.;)

Ok I have not done anything to day at all, it was the sabbath for us so I went to church and laid up reading and spending time with son n hubby.
I'm suppose to do in tri sets I may do it tomorrow.
 
Hi everyone! Had a beautiful spring Saturday. Temps in the low 70s, sunshine, light breeze. Walked my sweet pup, cleaned house, did XTrain chest, back, and shoulders, watched baseball, worked in the yard. Slept so well last night--got up this morning walked Ripken and then went back to sleep for 2 hours. Finally got up and did Tabatacise 1-3. I thought about doing the 4th one, but decided not to push it. I'll work up to 4 tabatas on that workout at some point....That is what I love about these workouts, you can always find a way to work harder and do more. No lack of challenges on XTRAIN--well, on any Cathe workout really.

Michelle I couldn't agree more! I can only do two tabata a then I go back and add the step portion to it to try and get me ready for three. It is high impact to so I have to be careful.

I did total body Tri sets upper body split today and I'm thinking of adding some cardio today. Maybe all out low impact hiit.
 
Just finished 30/30. Really like that one.:rolleyes: Haven't weighed myself for awhile and gained weight! Yuck! I better pay more attention to what I eat.

Michelle, Wow, love your 70's weather. Here is rainy and in the 50's. Great job yesterday on walking Ripken, cleaning house and XTrain Chest, back, and shoulders and also working in the yard. That's a lot of stuff for one day. Good for you! Great job on today's walking with Ripken and getting up again to do Tabatacise 1-3.

ReneeP, Great job on TB tri sets upper body split today.

Update: I had DOM's today so I'm waiting for tomorrow to do my exercises. LOL

We're at the beach house! Yes! Rolly and I took a quick 20 min. walk to peak at the beach to see it was still there. Yep, it's still there! Was cold and windy and wasn't dressed for it, but tomorrow is another day. Will unpack the few stuff I brought over and will just fool around the rest of the day. Guess what? I forgot Cathe. Yep. Can't believe I did that. Now I have to rely on memory and some rules and should be OK. I only have the Wedding Video here, lots of weight, a climber and the beach. Will be going back for one day in a couple of weeks, will gather it up then. Darn!

ReneeP, Great job on HS and Super cuts yesterday. Wow that a lot of workouts. I don't know why I got DOM's but I did. I guess it's from cleaning and of course 30/30. Wow, that usually does not happen. But always grateful when they do visit me. Thank you for the compliment on Lisa.

Take care and good job on your workouts I'm impressed. Remember to give your body some time to heal after that much work.

I did truest lower body joint friendly premix it was good I was sweating! I haven't tried that premix and my knee felt tricky so that's y I chose this on tomorrow the AB is up, I have to work tomorrow yuk!

Well I hope you gave fun on the beach! Lots of walking you can do. I'm sure u know what and how to work those weights ! Your arms I have seen so I Know u can do a great arm workout. Maybe work on push ups and sit ups too.
 
This afternoon was an hour of intermittent fast walk to walk on the beach with Rolly. Joey went on The adult tricycle for awhile around the streets. I love that tricycle. Will play around with it tomorrow. Suppose to have beautiful weather all week and beyond. Yes!

ReneeP, Great job on lower body joint friendly prem. and sweating. Very proud of you for continuing with your workouts. I know you've been doing them for awhile and just wanted you to know that.

Another busy week. Finished the April rotation yesterday, today was rest day and tomorrow I will start Cathe's May rotation. Lots going on. My company laid off folks today--not sure how many. I still have a job, will learn more about this reduction in our workforce tomorrow at my division's all hands meeting. I wore my Janie earrings and necklace today to have positive energy with me all day. Not fun to see your coworkers told they do not have a job. My company provided severance packages and is also going to "help" folks find new jobs. Not sure what the later means, again hope to learn more at tomorrow's meeting.

Janie: I cannot believe that you forgot to take Cathe to the beach house. I would have to go back home quicker than two weeks to get her. Love the new pics.

ReneeP:I am not familiar with the truest lower body premix. What workout dvd is that?

Still Up and Down like a roller coaster...I had such a tough time making myself workout...it took the better half of the day, but I finally did do Xtrain Burn St Bi's and Tri's and of course felt so much better not even 15 minutes into it....;):D

Michelle sorry for your workmates that is tough! It is a seriously competitive job market out there! That is one of my fears going through this process is figuring out how to support myself...I never really had to before...
