Getting Our Licks In!

Yesterday and today was an hour+ walking. Fooled around some too. Thank you for the compliments on my niece "Brianna". It really does give me motivation to do more. Joey needs to get back to Shelton, so he's bringing Cathe back with him. Yea! I don't have to go.

Michelle, Congrats on finishing April Rotation. Yea! Enjoy your rest day today. Then Cathe's May rotation. Is your job stable? Scared for you! Trying to protrude more good energy your way. It's nice that a company will try and find jobs for their employees.

Laura, So proud of you working out. I know how hard it is to try and keep things normal. You are doing the right thing. Hang in there, things do get better. Great job on XTrain Burn St bi's and tri's. Glad you felt better doing it.
It makes a big difference all around.

Hi Janie I'm good! I did gym styles today. I am finished with march rotation and was gonna do April but may looked really good and gives me a chance to do gym styles DVDs

It was fun! I still am not used to doing just weights on some days but it has kept me from getting hurt, I was trying to do weights n cardio everyday and that's what caused injuries I think. Well I am fixing a casserole for the family. I'm eating salad but made a mexical type dish , I did taste it!!! Yum yum!

Day 2 of the May rotation. Pushed myself yesterday on Hardcore chest and Triceps. XTrain is really giving me results. Today was IMAX3--killer cardio. Enjoying a nice day with my boys. Ripken and I just came in from doing a liitle work in the garden. Well, he napped in the grass under the shade tree and I worked on clipping back some of the dead limbs on my azaleas. I'm hoping with a little TLC I can revive a couple of them. One is dead and has to be replaced. Things are okay at work for now. Hopefully this is the only reduction in workforce that we go through. But the recession is only now reaching the defense industry, so it may just be the beginning. Time will tell. Can only work hard and hope for the best.

Laura: good to hear from you. Even if you can only get in 30 minutes that is better than nothing. More than anything now, you have to try to establish a new routine. It will probably take a while, but any little bit of exercise on a regular basis will help kick those good endorphins in.

Janie: thank you Joey for getting your Cathe for you.

ReneeP: Cathe is featuring gym style workouts and some STS in her May rotation. April was a great rotation too. A mix of XTrain and Low Impact Series. I'm finding that XTrain is really helping me to up my weight lifting amounts little by little. If you do Cathe's April rotation, I think you will really enjoy it.

Rolly and I did an hour of latin dancing and walking on the beach. I know.LOL No one saw me.:D

ReneeP, Great job on GS. Congrats on finishing March rotation. I'm glad you are following rules of rotation. You are doing very well.

Laura, Great job on the two walks and Legs from XTrain. Yes!

Michelle, I will thank Joey for getting Cathe when he returns on Mon. So glad he needed to get back and do some stuff. LOL Great job on Hardcore chest and triceps. Congratulations on your results. That's wonderful! Also great job on today's IMAX3--killer cardio. And your garden work too, that counts as well. So glad to hear you are OK at work and you still have a job. It must be scary for you.

Just did Xtrain Chest Back Shoulders BS. It is a good workout and seems to go by pretty fast. I am kinda getting back into the grove again although I have to admit it takes me so much more effort to make myself workout. It used to be like brushing my teeth, I didn't even really think about it,, but now I really have to force myself to do it and it is hard to even stay focused while working out. I know in time and with persistence that will change.....in the meantime I guess it is just important to keep showing up and pressing play, right!?

Michelle I'm doing that rotation now! I live it so far but I can't do all of IMAX 3 yet :(. I tried yesterday and today was AB but I didn't like it cause I already did that one it seems. So I did HS with core 2 I am hoping to do more this afternoon just cause I ate like poopy! My oldest who just got his own place came over and asked me to go to his house to watch a couple movies!!! So nice he likes my company!! I miss him too but he seems to miss me!!
 
Walking an hour on the beach with Rolly then some light yoga at home. Refreshing.

Laura, Great job on Xtrain Chest backa nd shoulders BS. I'm proud of you getting back into the groove of things. I know it's hard. Yep, just keep on pressing play. You won't ever regret it.

ReneeP, You will do all of IMAX 3 before you know it. Keep on doing what you are doing. You'll get there. Great job on HS with core 2 today. Enjoy the movies with your oldest. How sweet.

Joey, Rolly and I went walking on the beach for about an hour. We played, fed the birds and enjoyed. Joey brought back Cathe for me. Weather was cool and windy today, but we dressed the part.

Cold and windy on the beach, but Rolly and I walked for 1/2 hour on it this afternoon. Came home and needed to do more so also did 30/30.

ReneeP, Great job on HS and GS shoulders, biceps and back. Both are on the rotation for today? Wow. Too much for me in one day.

No Jane it was not on the rotation gym style was but I was bored at work and HS was less equipment quick sweat and boredom buster!!!

Today I did insanity fit test. I did good! I kept up with the female on there!!
 
Hi all

My back is really bothering me, so I have not worked out in two days. I may get some pain pills today. Tomorrow is my birthday, and I am getting really old.
 
Joey and I went to Westport Marina and had a ball. Talked with a vendor and she gave me info on how to meet artists and where they gather to meet. Sad in away though because after this month is tourist season for 3 months then they do the gathering again during Fall and Winter. Darn. I have a few days to meet with them during the rest of this month. Can't wait. Tomorrow I'm invited to a board meeting to meet with 3 board members. They will be able to answer all my questions.

ReneeP, Great job on Insanity Fit Test and doing a good. And for today's Insanity workout 1. Yep, Can't get much better than Cathe for sure. But it's nice to change things up a bit.

Catlin, Sorry to hear your back is bothering you. Happy early birthday! Hope you have the bestest year ever. Old?

I signed up for the South Beach Arts Association today and am now officially a member. It's only $20.00.

What I get for the money is: Be able to rent a fully equipped building for teaching classes or workshops, Keep profits from the classes I might teach, Receive help in publicizing an art class, Gain visibility on the SBAA website as a featured artist, Build a greater awareness of the arts in our community, Be eligible to display my arts in the SBAA gallery, Receive discounts at SBBA sponsored events/classes/workshops, pay reduced fees as a vendor in weekly Sat. Market, receive information about upcoming local and regional arts events.

Wow! This is so worth the money. Look at all the possibilities. I just want to join a group and have friends who are interested in some of the same things as I do. I'm going to volunteer to assist anyone teaching a class.

ReneeP, Thank you Renee. This photo was taken last year and I've gained 8 pounds since then. I am trying hard to work it off. I'll get there.LOL:D
