Lurkers Invitation 2010

Walked Rolly this morning about an hour. It was good.

My son can go to the gym anytime he'd like, but unfortunately he doesn't do gym stuff, and we're not allowed to go without him.:( I can do yoga, push ups, lunges... and those things, but, it's just not the same. I don't know enough to workout without equipment or without a DVD to watch from. Wow, something I will look into once we get back home so this doesn't happen again. I didn't take along any DVD's thinking I would use the gym.

Anyway, I''m feeling down cause I can't workout the way I want to.

Cheryl, How is the dog sitting, and did Tango stalk him? How cute is that? Would love to hear the story on this one.:D

Whoops! That is what I get for doing it from memory.

Janie – are you visiting your son in Vegas? We’ve had such a mild summer here in Central California but lately it has been very hot (relative to what we are used to.) I almost think having it so easy for so long has made the last few weeks harder on us. I used to live in Arizona so it is funny saying 100-110 is hot when I know it could be so much worse. I am loving it here though. It cools off in the evening so walks are comfortable even in the heat of the summer. I'm sorry the workouts haven't been what you expected. That is very frustrating.

Cheryl – my cats walk all over me and start meowing loudly when they think it is time for me to get up. That touch lamp would have to go! LOL My job sounds interesting and it can be (I’ve been doing it for 16 years so the glow has faded!), but mostly it is very stressful. I guess anytime you are dealing with perishables and with a lot of factors which are beyond your control, but over which you are supposed to magically control, you get stress. I’ll be glad when we wrap up this season. It has been a tough one. Good luck with the dog sitting. My cat, Charlie, likes to stalk out dog Lucky. Little does Charlie realize that Lucky would kill him if he could catch him. Not a good situation, but so far we’ve managed it.

Pam – beautiful sink! :) Even if it wasn’t the way you planned, it sure is special.

We didn’t buy the car last night. I read up on the car and found that you either love or hate that make, model and year. I figured it wasn’t worth risking given that it has a salvage title and resale would be very hard. You can imagine how disappointed our daughter was when we made the decision to not bid on the car. Instead we went car “window shopping” last night and had a really nice family evening. We turned it around anyhow… I took today as a rest day (doing the June rotation, fit so that rest days are on Sundays.) Tomorrow will be bicycling and I’m going to try my hand at working out in the afternoons, at least next week, and see if it works for me (at least in the summer.) In less than 2 weeks my daughter and I head off for a girl’s vacation in New York City. We’re joining the rest of the girls in my family and staying at my sister’s apartment there. It should be interesting seeing 8 women share 1 bathroom! So, I’m trying to get in a decent amount of solid workouts before I go and then thought I’d do July’s rotation after that to burn off the extra calories I gain from eating out so much. We’ll see. :D

Janie That sucks that your son doesn't want to go to the gym. I would be fustrated as well with not knowing what to do.

The dog sitting went well. Tango did stalk him and chase him around the coffee table a bit but then decided that the dog wasn't so bad after all. It was so funny watching Tango watch Davis and seeing what he is up to. The other two cats are fine with Davis and we took all of the outside for some fresh air. They all hung out together and laid around on the grass. Tonight Tango is one tuckered kitty with having kept he eye on Davis all day.

Shani I am thinking that the touch lamp needs to go to. However he does seem to go in spurts with wanting to turn it on. I didn't think about your job being stressful but I guess it really could if things start going sideways. I am sure the people waiting for the produce really can get up in arms if they are not there when they expect it. I guess we were really lucky with the dog sitting since Davis doesn't seem to mind Tango's stalking. However he was like my little shadow whenever we were in the house. All he does is look at you and wag his little tail looking for some attention.

I can see your daughter being disappointed but in the long run it was probably the right decision. However when you have your heart set on something it is really hard to let it go.

Let me know how you like the afternoons to workout. For me especially in the summer I really hate it, but then I can't get to it until at least 6:30 - 7:00

New York City would be a fun place to go. I have a co-worker who has been there several times and just loves the shopping.

Pam, Eunice hope you had a great weekend.

Happy Monday everyone.

Cheryl

Hi ladies! It looks like I missed a lot over the weekend! I had to go straight from my workout to take DSS to soccer camp on Saturday morning and then was having internet troubles the rest of the weekend so wasn't able to check in.

Janie Sounds like you had a successful shopping trip to Mexico! 114 is HOT though! That is a very long day with all of that driving. In and Out burger....yummm! I love burgers! I have only been to an In and Out burger once and it was at something like 2 am! Always a dangerous time to be eating! :p I definitely think you need to enjoy the whole experience though.

That dinnerware you found sounds wonderful! I had been wanting new every day dishes for awhile so my DH got me the Vietri set I had picked out for Christmas. I put them all in the cupboard and used them for a few days and then decided they were too nice for every day use so I went and got a set at Target  I was getting so stressed out every time one of the kids put one in the dishwasher or banged it on the counter that I couldn't take it! You will have to post a picture of those dishes!

The sink is for our basement bathroom. Seeing as we haven't even started finishing the basement I think I'll have plenty of time to make another one! I decided that I am going to do that since I will never be quite satisfied with it if I don't.

Be careful in that heat, it can be very dangerous! I know how it feels getting bummed out about not being able to get in the workouts that you want to. Can you download some and use your computer? It's tough when you can't workout outside and can't go to the gym either :( Hang in there!

Eunice Glad to hear that you got over your major DOMS! :p I can't believe all of the stuff that you got in Mexico! WOW! Are you going to be posting some pictures for us?! :D

Your move is getting so close now, I know you are getting excited! You are going to be awfully busy between now and when you leave. It sounds like you are getting a lot done though. How are things going having everyone at home?

Shani Welcome! I've heard a lot about you from Eunice, it's nice to have you join us. What an interesting job you have! It sounds a lot more interesting than my computer job! How did you get involved in that?I have a step-daughter who is 16 and learning to drive too. In fact she is just at 1 year of having her permit, so is going to take her test this week. She is doing pretty well, but it does really make you nervous doesn't it?

I can't believe you get up at 3:10 am! WOW! That is really some dedication! I thought it was bad when I had to get up at 4:30. I took Wednesdays as my day off when I was doing that so that I had a sleep in day in the middle of the week. Now I get to sleep until 5:30. That was a benefit of my step-son getting his drivers license - he now drives the 2 older kids to high school which gives me that extra hour. :D

Your girls vacation sounds like it will be so much fun, except for the one bathroom issue

My DSD would love for us to get her a car. About a year ago I started looking for a new car and she got very excited and wanted to know what I was planning to do with the car I was already driving. She was quite disappointed when I told her I was not going to be giving it to her. I am a big fan of them sharing the expense.

Cheryl I'm so happy that you are continuing to get some nice weather. I don't blame you at all for taking full advantage of it. What was the deal with the helicopters over your house? Weren't you nervous about that? Yikes! I really hate the alarm clock!! The best thing about weekends is not having to set it!

You lucked out with that chocolate! :D I did decide that I am going to make another sink because I would never be quite happy with it if I don't. Even DH keeps commenting on how much better it would look if it was done the other way.

It sounds like you are in for some fun with your dog sitting! Good luck with that!

Eunice I thought about you when I was dropping DSS at Soccer camp on Saturday because there was a guy who had a shirt on that said 'Runs Barefoot' :)

On Saturday morning I finished the Fitness Freak rotation with Step, Jump and Pump. Now I'm taking a few days to rest my ankle and hopefully get rid of this tendonitis or whatever it is. I did get up this morning to work out, but as soon as I started walking I felt it so decided I really need to go ahead and rest it. I think I'll do a Core Max tonight and probably a weight workout tomorrow. We had a really nice weekend. We just hung out at home on Friday night and made fish tacos for dinner. They sound so terrible but are so good. Then we water skiied on Saturday and went out for dinner with some of our neighbors. Yesterday I worked on my lamp in the morning and we skiied in the afternoon when DSD got out of work. She is working at a cookie store and loves it, but she is worried that she'll get tired of cookies! Do you think it's possible to get tired of cookies?? I hope everyone has a great Monday!

Had a nice walk with Rolly this morning. Getting hot already.

Joey's sister is planning to join us this evening from Michigan. We will be seeing Elvis Cerqus Su Le (misspelled) tomorrow (Tuesday). Then thinking about leaving Vegas Wednesday or Thursday for home. It just so happens that Joey's sister is named Jane as well. We will give her a ride to Oregon so she can visit her daughter and we will continue on home from there. Should be home Friday or Saturday.

Home sweet home and lots of wonderful workouts to do. I'm already feeling that my clothes are too tight and my belly is sticking out. Too much good food and not enough exercising! Thank goodness this doesn't happen everyday. I'm kinda mad at my son though for not going to the gym, for at least my sake, especially on his days off. Oh well. Some people are just that way.:( Next time I will be prepared. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr:mad: Time to go home.

Shani, Yes, in Vegas and ready to go home. Joey and Dan (our son) decided to fix his computer and big screen TV and hook it up in a special way. Can't even tell you about it, it is so over my head. According to them the job is done and a success.

Cheryl, Tango and Davis sound like wonderful characters. So glad to hear the story, I knew it would be precious. At the end I can see in my minds eye that all did get along. How cute, all tuckered out on the lawn.

Pam, I hear ya about the internet problems. Not fun.

Even though I've found myself gaining weight, I'm still going to try an In and Out burger. Maybe This afternoon, I don't know for sure. Then won't eat but salad for the next meal, with no dressing. Are the burgers as good as they say they are?

I had dinnerware like that once two, but I was brave and used them and did not put them away. I'm glad I did because we enjoyed them so much and everyone complimented on them. Yes, they have knife marks on them, they are now chipped, but you know, we enjoyed the heck out of them and now on to something new and different, colorful...and just as wonderful. I'm just starting out on the Mexican set, but once we get home will show the 3 pieces I did get. This Fall will get more of those dishes. Most likely the rest of the set.

So glad to know that you will be using that beautiful sink of yours. Want pictures after you put it in, K? Also can't wait to see what the other one will look like too.:D

Oh, about being careful in the heat. Our son made sure when we were in Mexico, that we had lots and lots of water on hand. The funny thing was that we drank so much water and didn't even have to use the bathroom. Our bodies were sweating it out as much as we were drinking it in. Also we found restaurants with A/C and ate their too. Good thinking on my sons part. In Vegas we are still drinking lots of water, but since we are in A/C our bodies are doing good.

on't have any weights anyway, so downloading wouldn't help at this point. I'm doing made up yoga, push ups, lounges...but still. It is frustrating. I'll be home soon.;)

By the way, CONGRATULATIONS OF FINISHING THE ROTATION! Not an easy thing to do, and so very proud of you. Now for the well deserve rest. Should take a week off or a week of active rescovery. Cardio, swimming, jogging...no weight lifting though. Do try to rest that ankle.

I love fish tacos. Sounds like you had a lovely time with friends and family this weekend. Skii? Did your ankle survive it?

Your DSD will get tired of cookies. Believe me.;) But that's not the worst thing in the world. LOL:)

Have a great day everyone,

Janie

Hi everyone I'm still here having a lot to do..... today I have to do some paper work with my oldest daughter, tomorrow she has an appointment for her passport that is going to take more then half day, Wednesday I have a appointment for my ankle:( still.
I haven't have a lot of chance to come to the computer, DH still home and he takes over most of the time Grrrrrrrr! I know..

Shani welcome to this group, this ladies are wonderful, you'll get to know them more and you'll miss them when one of them is not around. Sorry to heard about Sandra poor broken heart:( I hope she feels better.
I wonder what it is like to have 8 girls in one room:D I bet that's fun...

Pam I missed you last weekend! congratulations your done with the rotation that's amazing how did you like the last 4 weeks?! did you notice anything, did you body changed?! I couldn't finish that one:mad: I hope I can workout my next rotation without any inconvenient.. I think its going to be hard to keep up at least this week we'll see.
I really liked what I did last week and I want to repeat this week.

Janie I'm not sure why your son won't let you come to the gym, I understand your feeling, some times its hard when you don't have anything plan... I've done it before and it feel horrible, but when you get back home you'll be more then ready to hit those dvd's..

Cheryl how is the weather working for you?! are you having fun?! Hopefully..

I'm sorry this is a short one but I still have to do some more chores today.
Let me tell you that I've been having fun playing the Rock Band 2 the past few days, we have this game since last December and just know we are getting crazy about it.:p Its fun.
Today I did Step Moves and 4DS shoulders and core.
Have a good day everyone!!!

Pam I hate it when we have internet problems. We are so connected to it now you feel really lost, like when the power goes out and you don't know what to do. The weather has been really hot except for today. We had a really bad windstorm that lasted most of the day. The winds were 75 kilometers which is around 60 - 65 miles per hour there abouts. I am assuming that the police were looking for someone and needed the police helicopter to help find them. I wasn't nervous just peeved that I was woken up at 1 a.m.. I need to look in our local papers to see if there was anything said about it. I like to get freebes when I go out at lunch, the cocolate was a really good one :D. I figured that you wouldn't be happy with the sink and would want it done that way you initally planned.
The dog sitting was fine. Davis isn't as jumpy as when he was a puppy so that helps a lot with the cats getting along with him.

Eunice The weather here has been really nice. I even got to plant some flowers in our backyard the weekend.

Today was Imax 2.

Have a great Tuesday everyone.

Cheryl

Janie It sounds like you are heading home earlier than planned huh? I'm sure you are very anxious to get home and to get back to your routine. I used to travel all the time but changed jobs a few years ago to one where I rarely have to travel. It is so nice to be able to have a routine that I can count on. I guess I am getting old and set in my ways! :p

I was going to ask you how you liked the Cirque show, but looks like it is tonight. My BIL and SIL went to see one of the shows when they were in Vegas a few years ago and got hooked on them to the point that they were planning trips for awhile just to see the different shows. I hope you enjoy it. I'm sure and Elvis show will be interesting!

I think I would be mad at your son too if I were you. I have really found though that people who don't regularly exercise have no appreciation for how important it is to those of us who do. My brother is always saying that he would never exercise just to exercise and doesn't understand anyone who does!

Did you get your In and Out burger yesterday? I was thinking about you because my DH and I went out for lunch to a burger place here called Char Grill. Their burgers and fries are heavenly and I had both and ate them all  I was going to make bufffalo chicken Mac and cheese for dinner but decided I better change the menu after that and no workout! That burger and fries sure were good though :D

My ankle doesn't seem to mind the skiing, or maybe I just don't notice it because I'm thinking of other things

Eunice Is your appointment on Wednesday to finally find out the results from the MRI? I hope that you get the report that everything is just great! Tell that DH of yours that he needs to get off the computer because we need our daily dose of Eunice! Doesn't he understand how important this is? :D
I missed you last weekend too. I thought there were problems with Cathe's site, but turns out the problems are all on our end. I think we are going to have to go get a new router and hopefully that will fix it. Did you do some good cooking over the weekend?

I liked the last 4 weeks of the rotation, although I thought it got a little repetitive with Drill Max and Drill Max pre-mixes. The last week was a really good one though with Step Blast and Step Jump and Pump and Imax2. I love all of those workouts. I really haven't noticed any changes in my body though. I have gotten comments from a couple of people about having muscular arms, so maybe I have gotten results that I just don't notice myself? I'm not doing a rotation right now because I'm resting my ankle. Not sure how long I'll be able to keep that up, but I'm thinking I want to start the July rotation on Monday.

Isn't Rock Band fun?? We have been up until 2 am playing with our neighbors a couple of times. I'm really bad at it, but I don't care :p

Cheryl It's kind've bad that we are so tied to our internet! It wasn't all that long ago that I remember surfing the web for the first time and now I don't know what to do without it! It's funny that you weren't worried about the criminal and only annoyed that it was disturbing your sleep! I guess that says a lot huh?! Is Tango your cats name? I love that name! Are you doing Cathe's July rotation?

Since I'm still resting my ankle I didn't do a workout again today. I did Core Max 1 when I got home last night and now we'll see how long I'll last without working out, especially since the numbers on the scale are climbing right now  I'm sure it's just one of my normal fluctuations, but I really don't like it until it goes back down! We closed on refinancing our house yesterday. We cut 8 years off our mortgage and have a lower monthly payment now - how cool is that?! Have a great Tuesday everyone!

Pam

Cheryl Glad to hear the dog cat relationship went well! I find it so amusing that some cats actually scare dogs. I know mine does!

I’ve actually told my daughter that we’ll find something for her birthday in New York, and do some school clothes shopping too. She was over the moon at that thought. ;)

It was hard getting my workout in yesterday afternoon. I’d forgotten about getting my daughter to the school farm to feed her lamb, and that definitely got in the way. I did get it done though.

Do you get the helicopter searches very often? That would make me a tad uncomfortable! Where are you in the world? With your mention of kilometers I’m assuming not in the USA.

Pam I feel so lost without my internet connection! (scary) Maybe you can use your Vietri set every day once the kids are out of the house or older?

I’m feeling your pain on the tendonitis. I’ve had that several times… not fun! And I LOVE fish tacos! YUM…. Last night we actually tried our hand at ceviche with tilapia. My daughter and I were in heaven, but my husband couldn’t handle them. *sigh* He is a very picky eater. And yes, you can get tired of cookies… I got tired of doughnuts very quickly when I worked for a doughnut shop in high school. It took 2 years before I could stomach eating one. The smell alone would turn me off. Too much of a good thing?

I got this job because I spoke Spanish fluently, lived in Mexico & Chile as a child (which was a huge selling point to my employer) and because I had a degree in International Marketing (my dad put the word out which is how I ended up in the Ag industry.) They were looking for someone to manage both countries sales. It really was a fluke. I was getting desperate for a job because I’d been out of grad school for long enough I was going to have to start paying back my student loans and couldn’t afford it. My ultimate dream job was to be a product manager. In some ways this job is turning that direction which is kind of fun. Believe it or not, most of my time is spent tied to a desk and my computer, with some telephone work (it should be more) and travel that is concentrated between September-January (just in time to make my daughter’s birthday, our anniversary, Back to School night, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years more stressful than they already are!) So what do you do that keeps you in front of the computer?

I long for no travel believe it or not. I tend to gain 5-8 lbs each trip and at my age (41) I am starting to put it on and it isn’t coming off like it used to. I’d like to have a routine I could stick with. My daughter would say I am so boring!

Yeah, I told my daughter that every kid I knew that had been given a car had taken it for granted and she was going to earn hers to know its value and appreciate it. I still plan on her paying for ½ of it!

Congrats on finalizing your refinance. I hear they are getting harder and harder to do. We are thinking about doing something similar – reduce our interest rate and term of the payments. I have a feeling the payment might go up though. We currently have 4.5% fixed 30 year mortgage with 5 years paid and thought we couldn’t do any better than that. I hadn’t realized how good the rates had gotten though!

Thanks for the Facebook add!

Janie You’ll be so glad to see your workouts, I’m sure! At least Dan and Joey are feeling successful! And I hear that the Cirque du Soleil is amazing although I haven’t head of the Elvis one. Maybe one day we’ll go!

In-n-Out burgers are my favorite of all the fast food chain’s hamburgers, and their fries are really good. It is worth it, and your plan for a salad with no dressing will completely cover it. :)

On the heat/water issue… I’ve done the same. When I was in high school, I lived in Phoenix and we had 2 days of 128 and 129 degrees (a high even for there.) I remember drinking water continuously when outside and never having to go to the bathroom, and never feeling sweaty. A very dangerous condition for sure! It sounds like you handled the weather like a pro. Where is home for you?

Eunice I’m glad you are getting your eldest daughter’s paperwork taken care of before you leave. It would be so much harder to do from Australia!

I think 8 girls in one room will be fun at first but by day 10 we’ll be ready to kill each other. LOL I hope I am wrong.

Definitely let us know how the doctor’s visit goes. Is the ankle still sore?

Yesterday was bicycling for me. I watched an episode of 24 while doing it. I couldn’t quite hear everything while doing it so maybe it isn’t the best show to watch while on the recumbent bike, but at least I got my 24 fix. I’ve been watching it from Season 1 and am on Season 5, episode 1. :) I don't know if I mentioned it or not, but I’m working on the July rotation and today is IMAX3. I’m hoping I don’t die from heat doing it!

It has been nice getting to know you all

Shani

Shani Yum...I love ceviche too! I will have to put that on my list for this summer as it's such a great summer dish. I'm lucky in that my DH likes most foods so I'm not very limited in what I can make for him. I am addicted to the Food Network and saw Bobby Flay do a fish tack throwdown last week, so after that I had to have some  Funny about getting tired of doughnuts. I worked at McDonald's in high school so maybe that is why I never want to go there now. I wouldn't mind being tired of cookies though :)

It sounds like you have a very interesting background. I would've thought with your job you would be spending a lot of time on the phone. I work for IBM in the software development area. I manage a team that does user interface design, usability and graphic design. My background is computer science but I spend most of my day on the phone and in meetings...... It sounds like your travel couldn't be at a worse time  I do completely understand longing for no travel. When I was travelling all the time I always used to get asked why I didn't stay longer when I went to some of these place and it was because I couldn't wait to get home! Business travel is just not the same as pleasure travel and it gets old so fast!

Our refinace made a lot of sense because we were able to go from a 5.6% 30 year fixed to a 15 year 4% fixed! If you are already at 4.5% it may not make as much sense for you though.

Wow 10 days is definitely going to test your togetherness time in NYC! I loved 24. We did the same thing where we missed the shows so we started buying the series on DVD and would sit down and watch 3 in a row. Now we have Netfix and just started watching the first season of Lost. I'm not as into it as I was with 24, at least not yet.

Janie Hopefully you are on your way home. Hopefully the kitties aren't too stressed out about the trip! Don't go pulling a Eunice on us when you get back and workout so hard that you can't move for a day :p

Cheryl How are you enjoying your 2 weeks staycation??

Eunice It sounds like you have another crazy busy day ahead of you, but knowing you you will manage to get your workouts in also. I'm feeling like a slug as I sit here eating chocolate while I type this
DSD got her drivers license yesterday! She is quite excited. It will be nice not having to drive her to and from work all the time, but I'm still a little nervous about her driving by herself. She wants to learn to drive the boat now too

It was another day of resting the ankle for me. I think I'll do a Core Max tonight and may try to do a workout in the morning as the ankle has been feeling pretty good. I think it may be time for a test drive! Have a great day everyone!

Pam

Hi Everyone,

I missed posting yesterday because I went out to dinner with some friends. One of my co-workers is moving to Ottawa next week. She got a really good promotion and couldn't pass it up. So last night we went downtown for dinner and to say our good-byes. Yesterdays workout was High Step Challange and this morining it was Power Max.

Pam I had internet trouble earlier today too. I was going to check in here and pay some bills on-line but it had to wait until now. I don't know if I have just gotten used to hearing sirens all the time - we live right beside a hospital and a fire department but it doesn't bother me at all. It was funny that yesterday when I was driving downtown with a friend of mine we had to stop because police cars were screaming by us and stopping in the next block. We decided to turn up the street before and not go by what was happening but I saw some police in the back alley and they had their guns drawn. I have no idea what happened or who they were after, I didn't hear anything else about it.
Tango is one of my cats names, he is the youngest of the three. The other two are called Taylis and Tigger. It can get confusing sometimes with all of their names starting with the letter "T". I am doing Cathe's July rotation. It is a tough one and it is fine now that I am on vacation but it could be tough when I go back to work. Hopefully your ankle won't keep you sidelined for long. But at least you could do something even if it wasn't cardio. That's nice being able to cut 8 years off of your mortgage. We still have 11 years left on ours and I can hardly wait until it is paid off. I will feel so rich afterwards.

Shani It is funny how some cats and dogs get along really well and others well they fight like cats and dogs LOL. I would love shopping in New York. Your daughter is very lucky to get to do that for her birthday.

That's what I find about afternoon workouts, there is always something getting in the way. Glad to hear that you still got it done though.

No it is very rare for us to have helicopter searches. I guess it should have made me nervous too but I think I was too hot and tired to care. I live in Vancouver Canada so we have kilometes instead of miles. I am always converting though. I really hate metric I am a feet and inches kinda of girl LOL. Wow you guys can have 30 year mortgages???? We have to remortgage every 5 years here.

Have a great Thursday everyone.

Cheryl

Hi ladies, I hope that everyone is having a good Thursday so far!

Cheryl I am really looking foward to starting the July rotation. It looks like it is tough but a lot of fun workouts. I guess with a fire dept and hospital so close I would feel pretty safe! Although there is a fire station that we drive by when we go to the lake and one time we drove by and the house right across the street from the fire station had burned to the ground! Apparently the firemen were all out at another call when it happened. You have been seeing your share of excitement lately huh? That would be scary seeing the cops with their guns drawn! Your cats with their 'T' names made me think of my cousin. She has 5 kids and all of their names start with T! It does get very confusing. Of course I'm always calling my cats the wrong name and their names are not even close. I know what you mean about feeling rich when the mortgage is paid off. It's 15 years away now but feels like it will never happen.

You have to remortgage every 5 years?! Wow, that would not be good when the interest rates go up.

Eunice Did you get everything done yesterday? I saw you did get your workouts in. Congratulations on getting the ok on your ankle. It's a good thing that it's ok given all of the working out you've been doing! I think it would've let you know by now if there was still a problem. Interesting advice to Shani to have a shot of tequila before her dentist appt!! :p
Did you decide if you are going to get the Turbo Fire workouts? I wish you could just get one of them to try it out and see if you like it. I have never done her workouts before but people are raving about them. Have you done any of her other workouts?

Last night when I got home I did Core Max 2. I had forgotten how tough those workouts are since I haven't done them in awhile. The pull-ins used to be so much easier for me but I was struggling with those. I think that means I need to be doing these workouts more often. I better not laugh much today since it hurts my stomach! This morning I decided to give the ankle a test and did Mindy Mylrea's action packed step. This was the wrong workout to choose because she does SO many lunges in it and that it the thing that bother the ankle the most. It was pretty good though and I think I will do A Tracey Stahle workout tomorrow and save my Cathe's for the July rotation next week. OK, I need to go get ready for my team meeting. Have a great Thursday everyone!

Pam

Hi girls how are you guys doing? So sorry I haven't being here that often but all this appointments got me lost and I can't think anymore when I'm done..... And DH supposedly be back to work but because he's checking out most of hes time is at home doing paper work, hes not longer needed at the office, now he has all the time in this world to do what ever he wants, still he needs to wear his Uniform;)
I don't know if I ever told you about my eldest daughter but just trying to keep up with her its so hard, I want her to do the best decisions for her life but she think she has everything figured out and its a pain on a neck & butt, all together... She spoke with the Lawyer and she say that absolutely, for no reason she can leave USA, so she cannot come with us, I want her to stay with DH family at Texas, but of course she want to stay with a friend in Oceanside SD. Just not working for me, when we apply for her Residence we paid $2000 she got denied for some weir reason, so now we got a lawyer and its going to be another $2000 or so.
So tell me if I have no right to tell her what to do until everything gets fix.
Monday we couldn't get her passport 4 hours driving for no reason we did not bring everything so we have to go back on Monday again...

Shani I'm getting more gray hair this days. Nice Sandra is going shopping at New York, New York, that's must be fun. Looks like over here everyone its doing great with their houses, I hope I can have my own one day, maybe when DH get Retired we will, or maybe little bit before that..... So, Shani you are doing Jul. rotation how do you like it so far?! I kind of miss STS and I want to do something that uses those workouts more often, but we'll see, I also like to workout the same as Pam so probably I'll end up doing the same. When you go to Chile its when we all are going to Australia and its going to be cold too.

Pam I hope your ankle get better, mine its getting better, yesterday the Ortho say that I only had the Ankle sprain that was on June when I got the MRI so by now I hope its better. I really want to get TF, I have never workout with her, I had a friend that love her workouts just as much as we love Cathe! but I would never change Cathe for Charline or what's her name?! I think I can get a package of 4 dvds and try that out, I only have P90X, Insanity, and Cathe tons of Cathe and that's what I do every single day, I see that you are doing different instructors, I wonder how big is you collection Hahahah!!!!
So if you are doing the Jul rotation I'll join you, I really like to workout with you so we can share our opinions... I was talking to my DH about you, that you workout 6 days a week and then you go ski during the weekend and he say "don't be jealous" Hahha!!! I'm not I'm just telling him how much energy you have.. Isn't fun? Rock Band we got more songs to play, we take turns with the girls before I didn't wanted to try but now I fight with the girls, "can I sing" "can I play the guitar" that's my favorite, drums not much..

Janie I'm sure that when you get back home! you'll be so glad and happy and getting back to you workouts with your Joey, walking with Rolly,I think you was gone for so long..

Cheryl every time I wore shorts I think about you! I don't like to wear that often because I don't like my legs, but every time I get the chance I do..
This week we had have the most hot weather ever 107-106 degrees yesterday night was 100 degrees, we drink a 5 gallon of water daily its sooo hot.

So yesterday I did Athletic Step and chest from 4DS, I can open my arms wide open I'm sore, but better sore not like last week, today I did legs from meso 1 week 1 disco 3 I'm sure for tomorrow I'll have domes , I hope I can slim this legs, I'm with Shani! getting close to 38 and not that easy to loose weight, easy to gain it not fun...

I miss you all:( You guys not going to believe but I started writing since this morning, I couldn't finish I had to go workout before the garage gets into oven, then run some errands and I just now finishing... I can't wait until we get back to normal....
Have a good day everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pam So far I am enjoying the July rotation. Tomorrow is 30/30. I haven't done one of the HITTS is a long time. Should be interesting.....
I don't see police with their guns drawn very often, I think the last time was about 15 years ago when we were out driving. The police had their guns out and were surrounding a car and the driver. It does get confusing when one of them is doing something they aren't suppose to and I get the name wrong everytime. I know it feels like forever to get that mortgage paid off but if you think about it at least a mortgage will eventually be paid off, if you pay rent you will pay that every month for the rest of your life and never own anything. This is what I try to tell myself and our mortgage is cheaper that what we would be paying in rent. Yep every 5 years. So far things have been really good and the interest is really low. We are in a variable mortgage where the interest rate does go up or down based on the prime rate. However we are only paying 1.8% right now so most of our payments go to the principle so I am seeing it go down. If we were in a locked in 5 year mortgage we would probably pay interest somewhere around 4 - 5 %. I am going to do Core Max 2 on Sunday. I don't think I will be laughing much that day either LOL.

Eunice Sorry to hear that your eldest daughter is giving you a hard time. Sometimes when they get to be a certain age they think they know everything don't they. Not that we were ever like that right....;). It is too bad that she can't go with you to Australia, but I agree with you that you have the right to tell her where she will live while you are gone.
Well our weather has improved quite a bit and now I am wearing shorts a lot more. We haven't had any rain in a while so it has been really nice. It isn't as hot as you have it and I am very glad but it is pleasant to sit outside and have dinner.
The older you get the harder it is to loose the weight. Now that I am 50 I am just happy that I can keep my weight steady and I have to eat clean to keep it this way. I can't eat anything bad or else it will take me weeks to loose the poundage :(

This morning it was Muscle Endurance. Then I took some old towels and blankets to the SPCA for the animals. It is dangerous for me to go there and not walk out with another cat. There was one really cute kitten looking at me stretched out with his front paws crossed in front of him. I just wanted to take him home.......but I was good and just walked out the door :(. Then after I got home I vaccuumed out the car and washed it. It is hard to believe that me first week of vacation is almost over, it has gone by so fast.

Have a great Friday everyone.

Cheryl

Eunice hi there! how is all of that running around coming? That's funny that your DH still has to wear his uniform even if he doesn't have to go in! So remind me how old your oldest daughter is? I understand how she would want to be with her friend, but I definitely agree with you in wanting her to stay with family. I don't know how well you know the friend's family, but I don't think I would be comfortable with that unless I knew the friends parents very very well. So what is the lawyer going to do now? Is he going to be able to get her to Australia with you, or what are you having to pay another $2000 for? That is what stinks about lawyers, you can't do anything without it costing a fortune! You are her mother though, so in my opinion you have every right to tell her what to do. Of course if she is 18 or older it could get tricky since she is legally an adult. Sorry for all of the hassle that you are having with this. :( I know it must be stressful for you.

I don't have insanity (but I want it!), or P90X or any of the Chalean workouts. I have mostly Cathe, but I also have 5-6 Mindy Mylrea (I really like her workouts), 3-4 Tracey Staehle (I love her High Intensity Step mix so I got 3 others but I don't like the others as well) and then a few assorted others that I hardly ever do. I saw that I can get Insanity on Craig's list for $65 for the 13 dvd set, so I might end up doing that one of these days. My ankle is doing pretty well. It didn't bother me much at all this morning, just with a couple of the bouncing repeaters. I'm glad yours is so much better.

HOORAY for doing the July rotation together!! I am so excited! It looks like a goody - I just loaded it into my calendar starting on Monday. The workout mgr did something weird though and put the whole thing in twice. I might have a lot of energy, but I don't what to do every workout twice each day :p You just need to tell your DH that you need to come here and go water skiing with me! I think you would love it as much as I do.

That Rock Band is really addictive isn't it? I usually want to sing because I secretly wanted to be a rock star when I was growing up  I was home alone one weekend and went out and bought guitar hero and spent hours in the bonus room playing it by myself! I was crushed though when it told me that no one would pay to hear me rock  I don't like the drums either. My DSS is a drummer in his school band, so that is his favorite. I get completely messed up right away when I try.

You and Shani are young-uns! I turned 49 this year and I still can't believe I'm that old. But hey, 50 is the new 30 right? ;) I hope you have a better day today than you did yesteday!

Cheryl i just loaded the July rotation in my calendar and see their is a HiiT every week and a CCC in there. There are also some long workouts during the week, so you're right, it's going to be a challenge getting those in. I guess I'll have to plan ahead and get up a little earlier those days. I was driving down the highway one day and several police cars went flying by with their lights and sirens going. When I got to the airport exit it looked like every cop in town was there - all the way up the entrance and exit rams and surrounding a car at the top of the ramp. I figured I could drive as fast as I wanted! :p I saw on the news that night that there had been a high speed chase and it ended there. The guy got out and ran into the woods but they caught him. I can't remember what the chase was all about though.

Wow, your interest rate right now is amazing. It is nice to see the principle going down instead of seeing it all going to interest though isn't it? My abs are still hurting a little this morning from Core Max 2! I'm glad to hear the weather is holding up for your vacation time. I just love to sit outside to eat dinner!

You're right about it being harder to lose weight when you get older. I really never used to have to think about it or worry about it at all, but now I have to make a very conscious effort to stay on top of it or it will just sneak up on me.

I think I would have a very hard time not leaving the SPCA with at least one animal. They all look at you with those sad eyes :( The kitten you described is just how my cat Butters lays and it is so cute with the crossed paws.
I'ts amazing how fast time goes by when you're not working isn't it? I am always so depressed at the end of a weekend :(

And since I need to get busy working I better end this. This morning I did Tracey Staehle's High Intensity Step mix and for some reason it really kicked my butt today. I was especially tired when I got up and not really excited about working out so that may have had something to do with it. This is a really fun workout though, similar to one of the Imax's. She has some really fun combos in it. Now it's Friday! Happy Friday everyone! Janie I hope you are home and starting to get back into the swing of things. What will your first workout be? Shani How are the evening workouts going for you?

Pam My background is definitely not mainstream and was pretty special although a lot of the time I longed to be “normal.” I would think your job would be interesting too. You get to be creative. :) And you are absolutely right about business travel. It isn’t the same as pleasure travel and it *definitely* gets old fast!

That is how we are watching 24 – Netflix. It is definitely great for instant satisfaction since most of the TV programs are on instant demand now. :)

I don’t blame for being nervous about your DSD driving by herself. I will be too when it comes time for my DD. She is overconfident and easily distractible.

Glad to hear your ankle is doing better.

I struggle with Cathe’s corework too. I think it relies on more strength than I have and I need something in between to get me there. I did get through Maximum Intensity Strength’s corework yesterday though, but that is probably because it was much more crunch based than most of her workouts! I have a lot of the Turbo Jam workouts and even led a very active online group about it for several years (until I met Cathe… LOL). TJ is a LOT of fun mostly because the choreography matches the hip hop music so well. Chalene is very motivational (similar to Cathe.) I don’t have Turbo Fire though. I’ve thought about it too.

Thanks for calling me a youngun! I looked in the mirror the other day while smiling and was shocked to see a ton of lines under my eyes (just when I smile.) The age is catching up with me for sure.

Cheryl I have a good friend from Brazil moving to Ottawa now (actually their flight from Brazil was last week.) Apparently Ottawa is very immigrant friendly, offering financial incentives to come live there and do certain things. It has made their dream of leaving a very dangerous part of Brazil feasible, and they are great people so I’m sure they’ll make Canada proud. ;)

I know what you mean about sirens not bothering you because of having so many emergency services nearby. I used to live in the same situation (hospital and fire department nearby, plus a sports arena!) and my bedroom was on the 2nd floor. We heard every call they got, and play by play from the stadium. LOL You learn to tune it out, or at least it becomes like white noise. That’s crazy about witnessing the back alley gun draw!

I went ahead and did my workout this morning to avoid that afternoon problem. I knew that there a real reason why I went for that very early morning routine. It is the only way things get done. I tend to work late too which makes that workout even less possible in the afternoon (at least without severely impacting my family.)

I know what you mean about 30 year mortgages. Most countries have much shorter terms to their loans. I think it may have to do with the instability of the value of their currency and interest rates, and with the way the US is going I wouldn’t be surprised if we start to move that direction too. 30 year mortgages are the standard here though and it will definitely impact the ability of people to get into homes. Wow on your mortgage rate right now! Though I wouldn’t want to see it when prime goes up! So I won’t be jealous…
I’m a sucker for strays too. One of our cats is from the SPCA, one cat was a stray and our dog was a stray too. Several years ago we had 6 animals at a time (3 dogs and 3 cats) but slowly have lost our animals to old age or illness. Until now I hadn’t realized just how many have died. *sigh* I miss most of them. ;)

Eunice I’m so sorry your eldest is giving you so many problems. It is so hard when they are that age and still think that they know it all. I would think that the Oceanside SD option is *not* good. :( I’m so sorry that the residency issues are a problem. I do understand why legally she cannot leave. It will mess up the residency requirements BIG TIME. The passport issue I understand. I have been through similar hassles. I wish they would be more clear on the requirements so that these kinds of issues wouldn’t happen!

We’ll see how much shopping happens. It will all depend on the pricing and how much luggage room we have. She is so tiny that I’m thinking shopping there will be easier than here!

I thought I was doing the July rotation but realized I am actually doing the June rotation. This one is very cardio intense and lately it has been kicking my butt, but probably because I’ve been doing some afternoon workouts followed by workouts the next morning and my body needs those extra 10 hours of rest that I’d normally have!

I’ll be thinking of you when I head to Chile! It is so strange (and kind of nice) when you leave the summer and arrive in the winter. It makes you appreciate the heat when you get back, but in the meantime it is such a refreshing break.

I’m glad you ankle is getting better! The nice thing about Chalene’s workouts is that they require virtually no equipment.

I find it funny that you don't like to wear shorts because of your legs. I am the same way. I bought some shorter shorts for the first time in a long time and was horrified to see my thighs jiggle (cottage cheesy) when I walk. Ugh… It seems that when I drink more soy milk that is more obvious. I think I tend to retain water when I do, but also put down more cellulite if I gain while drinking it. Maybe it is the phyto-estrogens?

Janie I hope you are having a good trip home!

The evening workouts haven’t been a hit. The house doesn’t cool off very well when it is over 100 outside. The A/C was on from 3pm to cool it to 75 from 81 and at 6pm was still only to 78. Plus since I have to work late it seems more often than not, dinner gets pushed back to very late. My workouts are disrupting everyone’s schedules too. So this morning I did Kick Max to get it out of the way. I ran out of energy pretty early on, probably because I did Maximum Intensity Strength last night and it really beat me up good. We’ll see if I keep up with trying the afternoon workout simply to get more sleep. I know I physically feel better because I’m now getting more like 7 hours of sleep instead of 5.75 or 6 hours. What a difference it makes!

Tonight is going to be busy. I’ve offered to take some meals to a coworker who is getting divorced and who had to have surgery yesterday. Having been divorced I know how lonely you feel and then to have no one to take care of you seems to be a way to really rub in that loneliness. Anyhow since this coworker is male, I’m having my hubby or daughter go along so he doesn’t get the wrong impression! LOL (He is lonely and needy so it probably wasn’t the best thing for me to offer since I know he is attracted to me, but I just couldn’t let him go through it all alone and nobody seems to be able to help deliver meals.) Then I’m running over to a friend’s house to check out what she’s going to garage sale tomorrow. She’s going to let me “pre-buy” a few things. :D

Cheryl glad to know that you are having fun with the July rotation, 30/30 its the easy of the Hiits, I'm not sure I see this as easy as Cathe does but we'll see how do you like this one..
That's the only reason I like were I live, its so quit and no crazy people around us, once in a while we heard the police but that's so weird.
Thanks Cheryl you hit the point "Not that we were ever like that" Ha!! So bad I remember when I was 17 I wanted to have a boyfriend but my parents didn't like him..... so, yes! you got that one right I was worse then her, the only bad thing about her is that she does not have any sense on responsibility, and she'll suffer and I won't be there to help, DH say we learn from our mistakes and she will too..... so hard!!!!
Nice weather you are having over there.. so good that you can enjoy dinner out side, if I go out side I get sun burn:mad: not fun!!

For some reason I found that doing whole body weight workout I get more bit up, that's why I like sts a lot 2-3 body parts for day:p
Your vacation went by so fast! I hope you had have a lot of fun, or at least a lot of rest..

Pam I know DH its a Marine 24-7 even if his not working hahaha! I guess that's good for him, this attitude has give him promotion and a good reputation.:D
My DD is 19 she'll be 20 next January, I know this Family they use to live next door last year, and they are also a Military Family, I just don't know.
The Lawyer is going to file a Motion to Reopen her case with immigration service we have only 30 days after she got the last letter so we have to hurry up and work fast and spend the money fast:mad:
If she get everything fix DD wants to stay in USA and start her own life " that's what she told me" I'll keep trying but we'll see what happen, its so scare Charyl hit the point tough, one that I didn't wanted to think since she is more humble then when I was her age... Last night I was thinking about it, and I kept asking my self why this?, why that? or what if? why I did not lisent to my parents? so sad my own history, maybe I'm afraid of her going so far away from me like I'm from all my family:(
Lets get to something more fun.... when you get Insanity we can do that one together and get insane :p
I haven't load my Jul rotation yet but I will soon. You got that one right you don't need to do a workout twice then you won't have time to go skiing, I would love to come over one day, I will...

You had me laughing with your guitar hero and singing all by your self ... you went out just to get that game that's funny, we have the game on no fail so the little ones can play:p
Thanks for calling me one of the young-uns! not everyone think the same:confused:
Shani I hope everything work out just well, she is so stubborn some times, some times she is fine and lisent we'll see.
I was looking at you pictures on FB Sandra is so tiny!!! she doesn't need that big of a luggage and easy to shop that's for sure!

Definably your body needs that extra time of rest, you are getting some serious kick there. I think I like the cold weather better or maybe I'm just lacy and I like to cuddle when is so cold.;)

I love soy milk.... so funny I love cottage cheese... but not on my legs that's so invering... I don't like to wear shorts, shorts I feel like an old fart trying to show of some legs, but then I picture Cathe on her white shorts that she was wearing the first time I went to the NJ RT:D she looks so pretty, and I pretend that I look the same..... not always work :mad:

Have fun this afternoon.

Well today I did MMA:Fusion one of my favorites ones I just love this workout, just when I was doing the medicine ball, knee, legs out, my hands slept from the ball in the last rep ouch that hurts, I have long nails so glad I didn't broke one and my wrist its fine that's what I was thinking! Oh no please! another sprain NOOOOOO!!!
Then I did from 4DS back, I really like to workout like this it was good..

No plans for tonight so maybe just go to bed early or play some Rock band... Have a good day everyone!

Shani Actually I don't get to be creative at work at all, but myu team does. They are very creative and do some amazing work! I love Netflix and all this on demand stuff. It is just so nice to watch what you want to watch when you want to watch it. Although my DH says we could get rid of cable and just pump in food network 24x7 :p

I am more worried about DSD driving alone than I was DSS. He was much more cautious than she is. She comes up to stops very fast and slams on the breaks, and she gets mad when we try to correct her  She has gotten a lot better but it still makes you nervous. It's really nice having the additional drivers in the house though. I'm not sure if I mentioned it, but she got her license on Tuesday.

I agree that the crunch based core work is easier. This new stuff is REALLY hard. And those levitation holds - no way! I have no idea how they do those!
I guess I am going to have to try Turbo Jam or Turbo Fire one of these days. Maybe you can get TF when Eunice and I do and we can all do it together.

My age shows mostly in my hair - I hate my gray roots but I would have to get it colored about every 4 weeks to avoid them and I already go every 6 weeks. I'm also starting to get the chicken neck thing - yuck!

Morning workouts are the only time I can really be consistent about it because I either get caught up in something else or just don't feel like it after working all day. I love to get it out of the way right away, but I can't imagine getting up as early as you do since I love my sleep too. That is tough!
And yes, it's really hard on your body to do an afternoon workout one day and then a morning workout the next.

My DH limits me to 2 cats at a time. He says that I have crazy cat lady potential and worries that I could be one of those women with 50+ cats :p

You are so nice taking meals to your co-worker but sounds like you are being smart taking someone along with you so you don't send the wrong message. I understand the lonely feeling when you are first separated. You really learn who your real friends are. I had a friend whose husband left her several years ago and the first thing I did was went out and got her favorite bagel and coffee and drove over there to see her. For years she talked about how I was the only person who came to the house and how much she appreciated that. I guess it scares some people and they don't know what to say/do. When I went through it myself I found out I have some truly wonderful lifelong friends and there were others that I was stunned to find shunning me. In fact they almost seemed angry because it was messing up their social life  Needless to say, I don't see those people anymore!

Did you get any good yard sale deals? :D

Eunice I feel for you with your daughter and I just ope everything works out well. Cheryl did hit the nail on the head though - I know that at 19 my parents couldn't tell me anything! Hang in there!! I hope that the lawyer is able to help you this time, especially after spending so much on this! Does she have a job or some way to support herself if she does stay in the US?

OK, I will let you know when I get insanity and then we can do it together. At this point I guess you will be doing it in Australia! I really believe that you are as old or young as you feel. I know people my age who seem like old people to me, and I know people much older than I am who are very young, so it's definitely a state of mind (and unfortunately sometimes body :( ) I think you looke very pretty in your shorts Eunice and I think you should wear them with pride! You are pretty and you are fit!!!

This morning I did Amy Bento High Intensity Step mix (I forgot to mention that I have several of her workouts). It is a really good workout, but she can be pretty frustrating until you learn the workout because her cuing is terrible. She will spend all kinds of time on a simple part of the workout and then just throw the really complicated step in. A lot of people get frustrated and give up on her workouts but I do like them. I also did Core Max 3 and my abs were still hurting from Core Max 2 on Wednesday! They had baby back ribs on sale 2for 1 at the store this week so I got some baby backs and last night put a rack on the grill before we headed to the lake. We went and skiied and got home in time to sauce the ribs and have dinner. yum! We had a nice big thunderstorm when we got home so we had dinner on the screened porch in the storm. :D I love thunderstorms and we really needed the rain. Now I need to get myself moving. Hi Cheryl and Janie!

Pam That July rotation is tough. Since I really started the 2nd week of July I combined week 1 and week 2. There were some workouts that I liked in week 1 so a substituted them for some that I had done a lot in week 2. Today was Body Max 2. I hadn't done that one for a very long time so I was really pooped when I was done. Tomorrow will be core and stretching. The longer workouts are OK now since I am not at work. I will probably have to substitute some of the longer ones once I go back. That's too funny being able to drive as fast as you want. I guess since all the cops were busy there would be no one around to catch you :D
Our interest rate is really good, I can see the mortgage going down every month which give one hope LOL.
It is crazy with how hard it is for me to loose weight or even just try to maintain it. Sometimes it is so hard and fustrating I sometimes wonder why I keep doing it, sometimes I would like to enjoy what I eat instead of saying "I can't have that because it will take too long to loose the weight". sigh....
It is hard to leave the SPCA without another animal. We would like to have a home with a lot of property and bring in unwanted animals. Now where are my lottery winnings so I can make this happen......
I am the same way when I am tired, I can't get excited about working out and I don't do very well at all.

Shani Both you and Eunice are younguns. I can't believe that I am 50 though my body sometimes feels it though LOL. I am glad to hear that your friend immigrated to Canada. Ottawa is a nice little city and I am sure they will fit in well. They may take a while to get adjusted to the cold cold winters though. They are going to need really heavy coats gloves and hats. I know when I have to go there in the winter my Vancouver winter clothes are not enough.

You do get used to the noise don't you. It does become white noise and you don't even notice it anymore.

I can relate with afternoon workouts getting in the way of everything else that needs to be done. That is why I like mornings but I also like to extra hours of sleep.

With everything that has happened with the recession you may find that your mortgage rules may change. But I would assume that if you are already in a 30 year mortgage it would only change for people just coming into the market.

We got two of our cats from the SPCA and we got our youngest from a neighbour whose cat had kittens. You did have a lot of animals we have three right now and I find that it would be really crowded around here if we had any more. I am dreading the day when we start loosing our guys. Taylis is the oldest at 10 Tigger is 8 and Tango is 2. Hopefully we will have them for quite a few more years. Since we never had kids these guys have kinda taken the place of them

Eunice I remember being young and thinking my parents didn't know what they were talking about and they were just mean. I think we all go through this stage it is just hard when you are now the parent trying to make a teenager understand. But your husband is right in that she needs to make mistakes to learn, as much as it would be hard for you.

Whole body work can be good and bad. At least you get eveything over with but it can be tough. I am on the fence as to which I like better.

I still have one more week of vacation and then I am back at work. So far it has gone by really fast.

Hope you are enjoying your vacation Janie.

Have a great Saturday everyone.

Cheryl

Just got back home last night late. Today I plan on grocery shopping, unpacking, making two weeks of food for Rolly and having great meals. Tomorrow, will do yoga because I feel from all that sitting, this is one I surely need to do. Perhaps a cardio as well.

I'm weary and can't wait to get back to normal.

I've read most of the posts and you all seem to do very well with your routines, rotations and daily exercises. I've missed so much coming home, but will now be able to post personals every day now.

I've missed you.:)

Janie
