Today I did Raw Hi/Lo Sculpt, 32 minutes, 127 calories, heart rate 111/133. I then did Raw TBTS Sculpt: Cardio, 19 minutes, heart rate 122/153 95 calories, and finished off with Raw Stretch Flow 20 minutes, 37 calories. I really felt the Cardio would have been more calories today though. Maybe because I have had this cold which is driving me nuts. So tired lately. Total time was 71 minutes, 259 calories, 3,065 steps.
Raw Hi/Lo Sculpt
32 minutes total time. Can wear a weighted vest if you like. 1 moderate dumbbell needed.
There are two rounds of the moves
warm up
squat/front raise/upright row started with 8# dumbbell (option if bothers shoulders is to do a curl instead)
high move jump from side to side, low side squat knee up
pick up weight/reveres lunge/curl all on right then all on left 10# db
high impact lunge jump switch or low impact lunge twice then switch option for reverse lunge for knees
close squat kickback 10# db Kitty does a harder version they called an airplane which I think needs a lighter dumbbell
high impact step out high jump or low impact step out going wider 3 times and return
shift side lunge overhead triceps extension 10# db
side steps
repeat all moves then a short stretch
Debbie, your poor mother. I don't blame her for not wanting to leave her house though. I hope the part comes in quickly. 59 degrees is cold. Our gas fireplace has saved us a few times when power outages and furnace failure happened. I had to go back and search for that workout to do it after I saw it on the computer. I have done the one I did today before. Kelly does the lower impact and has Kitty do the hi and harder versions on moves like the airplane kickback she did. Kelly says Kitty can do it because she is in her 30's LOL. My husband said the 40 degrees we got yesterday felt like a heat wave. Supposed to get down to 12 tonight. Rain hits this weekend, but so far it will get above freezing during the day. Hopefully!!
Roselyn, nice work doing tabata and abs today yesterday was chest/shoulders today.
Cam, nice work on Penny 45 min. Strength X Cardio No Repeat. That is too cold to walk a dog. I stay in the house unless I need to go out to get the mail.
Belinda, good job on CL# 477 Box and Burn. I had a lot of problems with cross back lunges when I had the torn meniscus. I still have to be careful of those and twist and turns off the sides of the step. It bothers my knees. The feeling good kind of comes and goes. It is hard to sleep. I sat down after dinner and fell asleep last night and my husband slipped out of the room to let me sleep.
Jolie, nice work getting in the walk yesterday and today's CL All In Upper Body. I still have not purchased egg weights. I just use dumbbells or weighted gloves. Sometimes I hold some little sand bag like shoe weights I go years ago that are 1 lb. They fit in my palm. I think they quit making them because they were not good for people's feet or something. They had holes to run through the shoestrings.
