Good Afternoon,

DH and I went and watched our GS play basketball yesterday and it was so cold 2 degrees with a -22 windchill can’t believe the Chiefs played last night. When we got home from the game all the smoke detectors in the house were screaming and our poor dog was freaked out. Today we are in a boil water warning. I walked on the treadmill for 50 minutes 2 miles then did Restorative Flow from Fire & Flow. I wasn’t going to renew my Bodi subscription but it is still buy one year get one free so couldn’t pass it up. My niece and DS live in Nebraska and they are all snowed in.

Cam- I don’t think you want to watch the game eother Dallas isn’t doing so good

Diane-my SIL lives in Tulsa and they didn’t have power this morning

Sorry I did not check in the past few days, I was taking a break from being online on my computer and my phone. I felt refreshed and my eyes feel better too! Friday I walk the pup, Saturday I did CL All In Upper Body and Sunday was my rest day. Today I did CL Vertical Loading 2 and had a great workout. I did not use my ball, instead I used the bench because my ball was flat, and I could not find the pump. Workout was 1 hour, and I burned 456 calories. I did not do the legs that Cathe did, too many lunges for my old knees. Instead, I did body weight leg exercises and squats with DB's. Still, I had a great workout.

I feel bad for all of you that are getting cold weather today. The news is showing the mid west and I cannot believe how cold it is and the snow!!! Cool here but it will be a high of 66 degrees and I am dying it is so cold. What a baby right!

Cam, I am so happy that you are feeling better and back at the workouts! Take it easy and I hope you regain your strength in no time. Great job on the workout.

Belinda, my knee has been so sore too and I put Voltarin on it last night and it is so much better today. Inflammation really causes it to hurt, probably from all of my walking up and down hills. Also, it could be my shoes too. I hope your pain goes away, try icing it.

Debbie, killer workout today! Wow on how cold it is at your house today! You guys are really getting a big storm from the looks of it on the weather channel.

Diane Sue and Roxie, stay safe and warm! Wow on this storm that is going across the US!

Have a good day today and stay warm everyone.

Hi,

I did CL#462 Trisets TB. Great workout.

Jolie - I been using Voltarin a few times a day and icing it. I have arthritis in my knees , I also lost 50 % of my cartilage in my knee. I need a knee replacement. I talked to the the rheumalogist at UPenn, she said not to wait too long to get surgery. I am pushing surgery. Eventually I need to give in.

Debbie - great job on your workout today.

Roxie, you had a lot going on this weekend. I stayed in and kept warm. Why do they have a boil water warning? Nice work on the restorative flow and treadmill. I feel sorry for your sister in law not having power. We couldn't get our gas pilot to stay lit on the fireplace and that would be a disaster. I have someone coming out this week to help.

Debbie, great job on Raw weights 1 today. I hope you get everything done today needed. I am sure it is nice being able to take your time.

Belinda, I hope that your knee is better today. I have pulled out the Volteran myself lately for my foot and wrist arthritis. I am sorry your knee is so bad. Nice work with CL#462 Trisets TB today.

Jolie, great job on Vertical loading #2 CL and the All In workout on Saturday. I need to get off of media more. I sit too long staring at the computer and I start falling asleep. It really does seem to hypnotize or something.

Today I did RAW Box & Squat. I really like this workout, it is fun and gets my HR up there. It's a combo of boxing segments and then lower body no weights sculpting. It is a burner.

50 seconds on/10 seconds off - I used my 1.5# hand weights through the entire workout

Boxing: Jab/Cross/Set
Legs: Squat Pulse/3 Knees
Repeat other side

Boxing: Jab Cross/3 Knees
Legs: Squat Out/Press Up
Repeat other side

Boxing: Hook/Up/Hook/Bob
Legs: Side Lunge/Knee/Reverse Lunge
Repeat other side

Boxing: Jab/Cross/Twist/Up/Up/Duck (this was fun)
Legs: Plies/Press Up
Repeat other side

Boxing: Hook/Hook/Out Hook/Shuffle Back (this was fun too)
Legs: Crouching Squats
Repeat other side

Boxing Combos

Standing Ab Work

So fun!! This is a great workout. Workout was 39 minutes, burned 362 calories, did 2946 steps and HR was 141/172.

I also did RAW Stretch Finisher for 7 minutes and also added in some pigeon poses. Felt great.

Jolie - Great job on your workouts this weekend and yesterday and good for you for taking a break with the phone and internet. I think we all should do that once in a while. Yes, it is very cold here, it was -5 this morning and tomorrow it's supposed to be -15. The drive in was bad because we did get hit with some snow and since it's so cold out, the salt doesn't do anything to it. It was very slick on the roads. Hate this weather!!

Belinda - Great job with CL #462!! I sort of miss those workouts, I should subscribe for a month and do a few different ones. I always seem to get hurt when I do her workouts, though. :(

Diane - Good job with your workout yesterday, looks like a killer!! How has your should and neck been lately? Mine have been good except with yesterdays workout and having to hold the dumbbells through most of the workout make my neck and traps tight again. I used my heating bean bag and that seemed to work fine. I was a bit worried about doing a boxing workout this morning but I feel great now. Hope the tightness is gone. Hate when that happens!

Have a great day everyone!!

Good morning,

Today I did a dance workout.

Debbie - I probably will sign up for a CL for a month in the future. I think the cross/back lunge did it for me. I know I am not suppose to do anything cross or lateral. Great job today.

Diane - thank you! I am trying to hold off surgery. All my doctors recommend getting it sooner than later. The new meds are slow acting. My Rheum put me on biweekly at first, to see if I can tolerate it. Now I am on weekly injections, I hope it will kick in soon. I can‘t stop the meds to get surgery, I need to get it under control first. Sorry your are dealing with your foot and wrist. I hope you feel better soon too.

Well, today I finally pulled the trigger and did 2 KCM workouts on Youtube to see if I would like them enough to sign up for her RAW workouts. I loved them!!! Debbie, why did I wait so long to sign up? I really thought the boxing would aggravate my collar bone but so far it was fine, even using 1 pound weighted gloves. I did RAW Box and Tone, 30 minutes and the RAW Boxing Workout Finisher for 15 minutes. Total workout time was 45 minutes and I burned 458 calories. I was dripping wet by the end, I have not done cardio workouts in some time and I really miss them. I just went on Amazon and purchased 1.5# egg weights to use for my next workout, the 1# gloves just did not seem heavy enough since the workouts are short. I will sign up for RAW tomorrow. :)

Debbie, great job on the workout today. Could you please give me a few of your favorite RAW workouts so I do not have to do ones that you think are not so good? I am excited to do some boxing workouts because those are what get the fat off my body the best and they seem to go by really fast.

Belinda, great job with the dance workout.

Diane Sue, wow, it is cold where you live. We will be 65 degrees here today, hopefully the storm goes through quickly and you are back to normal temps. Nice job on the workout yesterday.

I bet my arms are going to be sore tomorrow :) Have a great day.

Good Afternoon,

I did Raw Heavy Bag 4 I like the music but it was loud enough I couldn’t hear what she was going to do so it isn’t one I will do again an then I walked on the treadmill 50 minutes 2.22 miles I ran a couple of times. It’s a balmy15 degrees here. We got more snow yesterday.

Diane-somehow the water has low chlor levels so they are advising people to boil their water.

Jolie-66 degrees would find me outside in a bathing suit catching rays or on the boat.

Today I did Raw High:Low Cardio 2 for 12 minutes, and then went on to Step Boxing, 43 minutes for both, heart rate 142/169, 257 calories, 3,431 steps. I finished with CDorner 30 minute mobility flow stopping at relax part since I was running out of time, 22 minutes, 43 calories. Total time was 65 minutes, 300 calories, 3,527 steps. I am hoping to get in something tomorrow if I can get up early enough as I have the gas guy coming out. Maybe a timesaver will work. I do not remember doing the High:Low Cardio before. I should look in my notes. I just did not want to spend so much time on my hands today. It ends up that today's mobility was on hands. It was her latest. More movement from down dog to other moves and yogi squat.

Debbie, great job on Raw Box and Squat. That is a fun one and time goes by quickly. I am anxious to see her new workouts when they are on her site. I feel fine today after that workout. I have been having neck issues lately because I have been coughing like crazy again which usually sets off the neck and shoulders. My latest problem when doing workouts is my non-surgery shoulder has a problem with me doing overhead triceps extension. To get it not to hurt I have to not drop too low behind my head and keep my elbows close to my head. It was still sore after the last two workouts for a while. It sure does not take much to cause those sensitive areas to spasm and tighten up. I am not sure what the deal is with the triceps extension.

Belinda, nice work on the dance workout today. I understand needing to be back in remission before getting the surgery. You have been waiting so long.

Jolie, great job on the Raw workouts. I am glad that you got to try some. I love her boxing workouts and her weight workouts. I think you will enjoy them. I wish it was 65 degrees here today. It is so cold. warmed up a little though.

Roxie, nice job on Raw Heavy Bag 4. I am sorry that you thought it was too loud and you couldn't hear what she was saying. Nice work on the treadmill as well. Odd on the chlorine.

This morning I did RAW Ripped & Ride June 2019. Had a great workout. I used my treadmill and did light and faster paced jogging. Loved it. It feels great to run again.

Each weight exercise was for 1 minute.

Treadmill: 5:25 minutes

Bent Over Rows: 15's
Hammer Curls: 15's
Upright Rows: 12's
Overhead Triceps Extension: 8's
Chest Press: 15's

Treadmill: 5 minutes

Reverse Flies: 12's
Front Curls: 15's
Overhead Shoulder Press: 12's
Kickbacks: 8's
Dumbbell Flies: 15's

Treadmill: 5 minutes

Lawn Mowers: 15#
Supinated Curls: 15's
Lateral Raise: 8's
Skull Crushers: 12's
Modified Pullovers: 15#

Treadmill: 5 minutes

Workout was 48 minutes, burned 367 calories, did 2918 steps and HR was 125/173. I did 1.28 miles on the treadmill which took 20 minutes.

Belinda - I thought you already had CL monthly. Before I had my knee surgery, anything with side lunges or cross back lunges bothered my knee. Now I can do them without a problem. I know my surgery was nothing compared to a full out total knee surgery, but I am glad I had it done.

Jolie - You should just go back and read my workouts, I always talk about them and what they entail. The ones I have been doing are my favorites. You should try the R&R workouts like the one I did today, I know you would LOVE them. My favorite boxing is the one called Heavy Bag/Shadow Boxing and her son Zach is in it. It is found under the Cardio section of the RAW channel. All the just boxing workouts are under that section and they are all good. The Box & Pump workouts are awesome, I especially like the first one called just Box & Pump, I also love Box & Pump 2 and Box & Pump 3 and Box & Pump 4. They are all excellent workout and are found under Cardio & Weights section. So I suggest you go back and read all my workouts, I do a RAW workout almost every single day. You will love them, I promise!! The ones I don't care about are the ones with compound moves and ones with kettlebells. Although I do them, they aren't my favorites.

Roxie - I agree, some of her workouts have the music way too loud. I love the heavy bag workouts, though.

Diane - Great job with your workout yesterday, I'll have to check out that high/low one you did, not sure I've ever done it. Does it have mountain climbers in it? LOL! That is a total deal breaker for me anymore, although I can substitute something else. I was hoping her new workouts would be out there by now, it's been a while. Do you know when they will be posted? I'm sorry to hear you are still having issues, I know what you mean, though - any little thing can trigger it. I'm just waiting for my next injury to happen. So far, so good!!! Knock on wood.

Have a great day everyone!!

Good morning,

I did CL # 323 Leg Express: Moderate Weights. I had a great workout with modifications.

Diane - thank you. I do need a break. Eventually i will get it under control. Great job yesterday. How are you feeling?

Debbie - I signed up for On Demand in Dec. I didn‘t wanted to bring my dvd player and DVD’s. So much easier. I am doing the Jan rotations with Cathe Live workouts. My subscription On Demand will run out on the 26th of Jan. I do like the CL workouts. I probably will sign up for another month or so once my subscription runs out. Glad the knee surgery helped you. One day I have to just get it done. I was doing so great until last week. I am so carful with my knee. I don‘t think it was Cathe leg workout, I think that evening I twisted my knee walking in the living room. One wrong move, it will set you back. I will rest my knee was much as I can.

Jolie - great job on the KCM workout. I never really clicked with her? I do like some of her strength workout s. Maybe I should give her streaming a whirl soon. Nicely done.

Great job everyone.

Today I did Raw TBTS warm up and Pull Day that got split up because the gas guy came early, total time on Garmin says 25 min after I added two times up because I accidentally stopped it when I meant to pause it, 100 calories, heart rate 114/138. I then did Push Day 21 minutes, heart rate 115/140, 90 calories. That is it for today. 46 minutes, 190 calories.

Raw Pull Day 8 reps 2 sets each move
hammer curls 17.5# dumbbells 17.5# dumbbells
reverse fly 12# dumbbells 12# dumbbells
zottman curls 15# dumbbells 15# dumbbells
bentover rows 20# dumbbells 20# dumbbells
Pullover modified 20# dumbbell 20# dumbbell

Raw Push Day 8 reps 2 sets each move
seated shoulder press 12# dumbbells 12# dumbbells
lateral raise 12# dumbbells 10# dumbbells
seated overhead triceps extension 20# dumbbell 20# dumbbell
skull crusher 12# dumbbells 15# dumbbells
connected press 15# dumbbells 15# dumbbells
straight bench press 17.5# dumbbells 17.5# dumbbells

Debbie, nice work on Raw Ripped and Ride 2019 June and being able to jog on the treadmill. I am happy that I can do heavy bag and boxing with weight again. High Low Cardio 2 does a boxing segment followed by things like jumping jacks with a band around ankles, then a floor plank move like walk in walk out, jump out side to side in plank etc . I went quickly through it and saw the rest of the format and more than likely there is some mountain climbers in there. I was just not up for all of that.

Belinda, great job on CL # 323 Leg Express: Moderate Weights. I am feeling okay, thanks for asking.

Good Afternoon,

I did Total Body Time Saver Lower Body then 50 minutes 2.15 miles on the treadmill upped the speed.

Tonight I did a Penny 45 min. Strength X Cardio. No Repeat. One of my faves. Circuit 1- strength 45/20, Circuit 2- low impact cardio 30/10. Circuit 3 core/abs 40/15. What a great workout. I am feeling the fatigue.

It got up to 10 degrees today. It felt like Spring. I miss my nightly dog walks. I think in a couple days, it will get into the 30's. Whoo hoo!!

Roxie, I'm a Packer fan, so I was happy with the outcome.

Good workouts everyone!

No workout for me this morning, we were up late because my mom's furnace died. My DH can fix it, but we needed to order a part. Hopefully it comes in today. Luckily she has a water bed and keeps it at 90 degrees so she slept good, but her house was down to 59 degrees this morning. My DH went over and got the furnace to run a cycle and warmed the house up. He will go back over there this afternoon to do the same thing. Hopefully the part will be here soon. Of course she didn't want to come over to our house. She is a stubborn woman.

Belinda - You amaze me. Your knees are hurting and yet you do a leg workout. That is pure determination! Nice job and I hope it didn't irritate your knee more. That's cool that you have On Demand right now. I would like to have CL streaming again, but not sure how much I'd use it, I love Kelly's workouts.

Diane - Great job with your Push/Pull workout yesterday, I love those workouts. I wanted to try that High/Low workout but just couldn't get up after being up so late last night. Hopefully tomorrow I can try it out. It sounds like a fun one.

Cam - It was 20 degrees here this morning. So weird how you can feel the difference after it's fifteen below zero the day before. It actually felt warm outside. LOL!! We are supposed to get hit with a lot of snow tonight. Yikes! I think I'll be working from home tomorrow.

Roselyn - Great job on your workout!!

Have a great day everyone!!

Good morning,

CL# 477 Box and Burn is done. Modified side kicks.

Debbie - my doc wants me to workout, except avoid side lunges/kicks/ cross anything. I will workout as long as I can. Sitting hurts worth, IMO! I do modify the heck out of my workouts. I do enjoy CL workouts, she shows modifications in her resent workouts. Yikes, on your mom furnace. I hope the part comes in soon.

Diane - great job on Raw TBTS warm up and Pull Day. Glad you feeling ok.

Great job ladies.

Yesterday I took the pup for an hour walk through the hills, traveled 3.3 miles and burned 487 calories. Today I did CL All In Upper Body and had and excellent workout. I did heavier weights than Cathe and I did less reps. Workout was 51 minutes and I burned 389 calories. I wanted to do the KCM boxing finisher again but my son called and I ended my workout since I was on the phone for so long with him. I bought 1.5# Egg Weights on Amazon, I am excited to try them out. I am enjoying lifting heavier weights lately, I also so more results in terms of muscle mass. I will sign up for KCM this weekend and I cannot wait to try some of the cardio workouts and weight workouts that Debbie has suggested. I will go back and re read her posts to see which ones are her favorite workouts.

How are you all doing with this cold spell?

Debbie, great job on the workouts the past few days. Also, thank goodness your husband can fix your mother's heater, I beat those repair guys are booked solid with people who are running into the same issue. I will go back and read your posts for the workouts. Thanks!

Diane Sue, nice job on the RAW workout yesterday.

Belinda, great job on box and burn!

Cam, your post is hilarious, it got up to 10 degrees and it feels like spring! :) 66 degrees here today, I do not think I could survive in your temperatures, I am a baby! I love warm weather with shorts and flip flops.

Roselyn, I love Tabata workouts, way to go!

Roxie, way to go on getting another workout in especially when it is so cold where you live. I bet it is hard to get motivated to workout, it would be for me. I am a fair weather person, when it is raining or cold and overcast outside, I just want to stay in my robe.

Make it a great day today. Tomorrow is my rest day.
