Michelle yes it is a motivator! I even had a vivid dream about my end goal results a d what ill look and most importantly how I will feel it was great!
I'm so happy ripken is enjoying his walk! So cute! Sweet dog! Gosh maybe he will beat the cancer! I just never know!
I did low impact challenge In the low impact series today. I got lost on mi ute 23 andd about 27 minutes I got it. But then when we had to go on to all of it together I got lost on the last part again. I burned 350 something like. Since I didn't feel I work hard enough (I got lost) I decided to do firm parts in addition to my cardio this one was mostly ab and legs butt one. It was easy but I went heavier on weight then I started and I finally broke in a little sweat.it is a good one for my legs because I'm so weak in feet with balance issues it did good for me. I got to use a Dole to help with balance I used a broom lol I don't think I'm spelling it right anyway its a stick lol. Maybe this is more my speed for lower body. And ill do cathe upper body.. humm
 
Beautiful day here in the mid-Atlantic. Ripken is guarding the door and the bags signalling that we are headed to the boat today. Had a nice walk with my sweet pup this morning, then did double-wave pyramid and STS ab circuits no equipment. Glad the exercise is over, now I can focus on enjoying the day and getting other stuff done (once we get to the boat).

ReneeP: low impact challenge in the LIS series took me a few tries to get. The choreography is tricky but once you figure it out, you will definitely feel like you worked hard enough.

Good job Michelle on the workout! Pyramid anything sounds tough!

I walk jog and push ups yesterday kinda like a circuit almost 58 min I burn 478. Today I did a yoga for weight loss. And tabta from crossfire that was 14 min I think. Intensity hiit low impact also. All to gether it was 29 min is all. Yoga was 50 min.
 
Two days of cleaning the boat. I felt like it needed one more go round and then it would really be clean. Oh well, there is always next week. Got home in time to do STS disc 17 legs this afternoon. Sister and I feel like STS is much harder this time around. I think it is because we are older; sister thinks it is because we are lifting heavier. Maybe it is a little of both.;)

ReneeP: wow--you did quite a bit of exercise this weekend. I can tell that you are super motivated. More power to you doing the yoga. I know it is good for me, but quite frankly it hurts.

Well--gearing up for another work week. Hope everyone is doing well, staying healthy, and working out hard.

Medium walk with Ripken this morning. Then I had to hand-feed him his breakfast of oatmeal mixed with his dog food because he has just been in that kind of a mood lately when it comes to eating. DH thinks maybe the antibiotic he is on for the sebaceous cyst is affecting Rippy's appetite. Could be. Only 3 more days of pills then we will see if his appetite rebounds where he eats without great encouragement. The good news is that the infection seems to be gone from the cyst. After hand-feeding Ripken, I did Athletic Step and STS pilates-based abs. Feeling my quads and calves today after STS disc 17 legs, yesterday.

Good job on the sts and AT. I lo e that one AT but. Then again I lo e all of them loll. U know Michelle I thi k it could be both also mix that In. With it having the new factor ware off it. I mean when a work out is new to me I am excited and bang it out it is tough but the adrenaline kicks in I think because then each time I do it there affter it seeems to be harder then the first time lol. So probly that and lifting heavier 'I wouldn't say getting older.. we are getting younger! Lol. Yah right ... I tell my self that as my joints r squeeking lol.
Awh I sure hope it is antibiotics. Poor fella I almost feel like he is part my dog to because I feel I can picture him everyday walking... eating... goi g through this fight! I'm proud he is really hanging in there. Hugs to him...
I don't know what ill do today. I did a mixed bag yesterday . I think I posted it. Ill look and see if not I will. I wont do anything til I get Home today I work til 5 should b home by 530 u less we have patient we are working on. Have a great day!
 
STS disc 18 this morning--I am half-way through STS--YEAH! It does seem harder, but I suppose that is the point. It's not supposed to be easy. Not sure what cardio I will do tomorrow. Have to check out the STS rotations and see what "speaks" to me. Ripken had a good checkup with the vet. There is still a little puffiness on his shoulder, so we have another week of pills on top of the 3 days that were left. Ripken and I will both be very happy when he doesn't have to take the antibiotic anymore. He ate his breakfast all gone this morning, so that is good.

Rainy day here, but that is okay, we need some rain. Hope everyone is doing well. As Cathe would say: work-work.

Push pull afrer work yesterday. Oh I asked a question on the video thread. Im wondering what otther cathe is most like push pull. Noone answered yet. Well not sure if tonight or Thursday will bee reast day it may be Thursday. But today I'm not sure what to do. Maybe a fast cardio. Or maybe ill ride the spin bike for a while. Idk yet.
Has any of u gorls done Brazilian butt lift? I heard good things about it.
 
Finally made it to Vegas safely. Had such a wonderful road trip too.

Lucky for Joey and I we get to use the gym without the owner being there. We are so very happy about this. Tomorrow is a split workout (haven't decided what yet) and will be 4 sets with 8 reps as heavy as I can lift. I'm thinking legs, need them so desperately. It's a happy day. We went to the Rio today and lost $25.00 but it took hours to do that. LoL. Had fun. I also bought two black and white Mardi gras masks so when I frame a couple of my zentangle drawings, the masks can be next to the them. Should look unique. Went to their Buffet and ate all Paleo, very proud of ourselves.

Michelle, Great job on disc 18. Already half way through STS, time goes by so quickly. Yep, being challenged all the time makes for toner and bigger muscles. Yeah for Ripken and his good check up. I'm really glad he's doing so well. O yes, welcome rain is a blessing to have.

ReneeP, Great job on PP yesterday. I have Brazilian butt lift. Love it love it. But then again I'm loving dancing moves. I don't seem to do it very often, and my butt shows that. I do feel it works your butt very nicely when I do use it. Between Cathe and those DVD you would think I'd have a great butt, but... LOL I'll give it more time.

This morning Joey, Rolly and I speed walked about a half hour. Then had breakfast, waited 2 hours and went to the gym. O my, I worked my legs hard. The curls were 30 pounds, 4 times at 8 reps. The presses were 70 pounds, 4 times at 8 reps... also used the free weight to do lunges and squats. Would have used the squat machine but didn't know who to ask to get the heavy weight off it so I could use it. Oh well, next time, we'll be here awhile. Did some abs work on the machine and on the floor. Also did some balancing on those little cushion thingys. LOL Boy do they work. I'm going to buy me one for at home. All in all, I was pleased what the gym have. Maybe I'll get DOM's. We'll see. We will be eating dinner tonight at a vegan restaurant with my son and and fiancee. Can't wait! Right now I'll have a Paleo lunch with a salad. Yummmmmy.

Today Joey and I went second handing. So much fun because Vegas has a lot of good stuff! We also went food shopping for our 20 day stay here and A buffet today with only lean meat, fruit and veges. I just finished making sauerkraut for us using pears, beets, red cabbage, carrots, caraway seed, mustard seed and some dill. Should be done in about a week.

We didn't walk this morning because we had to take the kids to the airport. They are on their way to Italy and we get this huge house with a remarkable pool and hot tub all to ourselves. Awwwwwwww, sigh.:rolleyes:

Tomorrow is the gym for me. I can't wait!

Hello Amy im Renee!! just turned 43 last weekend and i sure do not feel 43 except my joints and bones lol.. I feel 23 in my heart and im wondering wtheck has happened lol No just joking.. Janie i sure am glad you are havign a ball!! I want to go!!! I will crawl in your suit case next year, youd never know im there because hopefuly by then ill be so light and you are the lifter so you wouldnt know how much you case weighed lol.. You are so used to lifting heavy anyway.. yes i think it will work!!

Hello all the ladies !!! Michelle You are still doing a wonderful job and im sure you dont need me telling you that, but i think you are awesome keeping keeping on!

I took a rest day today, but guess what i did? I used to LOVE to dance,, you gys are gonna lugh probly but i bought the jazzerize Burlesque DVD !! It was so fun i poped it in to ck it out, thought oh well this will be a learning curve so i put it on the fast 20 minute dance wow i couldnt help it i had to get up and do it even though i was supose to PREVIEW it lol it was really fun and it was NO learning curve at all... I didnt like sweat like crazy but i had fun and i felt like i was a dancer again. LOVED it so yes still a rest day because it was that much fun!!

Not sure what i will do tomorrow, we will see i may do the jazzercise again only as an add on to something like sweatfest that im sure Cathy will deliver! lol

oh my i almost forgot i saw a women i do not know, but she knows me and my son who is 22, and she said something about my son, i ask her how she knew me, and she said her daughter says i am her idol!! WHAT? I never ever thougth in a million years i would be that to anyone at all.. I use to be thin where i lost alot and even though i gained weight i went to military and she was in awe over that n she told her mom i never stop and she thinks i am a machine WHAT? lol im so happy she said that.. i was leaving and i told her to tell her hi and she said she will and i was a great infulence on her daughter she now runs also!! I am so happy about that.. I am glad i can be an influence to someone.. i mean my own children does not seem like they think that.. but anyway I guess im known in my area because i do get out and run, and i do keep trying. I will keep on keeping on now lol

Oh! I love dancing too. Hopefully since I'm done with the long rotation, I can add some that funness as well. Great job on jazzercise, enjoy.
It doesn't surprise me at all for someone to look up to you. What a great motivator. When you see someone consistently running, You have to know that people admire that. Good for you! I'm happy for you. I also admire you not giving up and always getting back in there to be healthy.

Hello ladies yesterday I had to do a lot of running around for my niece. Her husband left her for a crack head!"! I'm trying to help her get every thing in his name and he says I'm coaching her. U have to b seperated for one yr in sc before u are granted a divorce. So she was supose to do that as well. But she did not said he might be watching her go in there. Hunmm he said to me he don't know what he wants yet and she acting like there divorce already! And he took the kids with him to spend night with him and his bimbo! Y my neice let that happen is beyond my understanding. I have been marred before to someone like that I think he has her where he can have his hair pie and eat it to! She WILL take him back I know it he left her a d three babies two times in the last week! Her oldest is 6 youngest is only 6 months! He claims she wont give hom sex enough and she isn't attractive to him anymore... coming from a man who has to really carry his belly in a wheel barrel! Welll its getting that big he should. Discusting. If she don't take a stand I'm not gonna help her more until she's ready. I'm not wasting time or my day running around just for her to go back And reverse it. She works he takes her money to pay bills he don't work but odd jobs. She thinks he was paying some xauae his odd jobs but he even told her she's gonna be fine cause her money paid the bills! Car is in his name hd was sooo mad cause I told him to let it b in her name he said its her car.. well then it should in her name. It is rediculous. He wanted to move the girl in there home he told neice that way he can figure out what he wants and take care of kids! Wow id puke! She is all confused and afraid. My sister her mom needs to get here to help her I can't deal with it. My sister doesn't work and its her daughter not mine. Sounds cold but for yrs my neices nephews and my mom comes to me for help amd at timez its overwhelming. I have a family of my own and I have a job. Hard to do everything so I told my sister if Danielle keeps taking him back she doesn't need to call me for HELP ..
Until she really reasy to leave him. I loaned them 300 dollars we don't really have for power bill! He better pay it back to. Ok enough grouching. Am I being unreasonable?
I may do cardio supersets today. Not sure.
 
Hi ladies, I think I fell off the web here for a couple of days. Looks like lots is going on. My goodness. Ripken and I continue to walk, walk, walk. His infected cyst on his shoulder is almost all better. Yeah! I'll be so happy when we are through with him having to take 2 pills in the morning and night. His eating is better, but he is getting hamburger mixed in with his meals this week. He just doesn't like chicken as much as hamburger. I started the 3rd week of STS meso 2 yesterday. I was not loving those double waves, but I got through it. Today I think will be ToTheMax of 40/20--we'll see which one speaks to me in a few minutes.

Janie: Sounds like you are having a good time in Vegas. I'll be that way in a few weeks on the way to Ft Irwin on business. How long are you staying in Vegas? I fly in on Oct 9th, and then back out on Oct 11.

ReneeP: You never know who you inspire just by living your life and trying to be the best that you can. That is a great story. As for your neice. It sounds like she is very young (is she?) and doesn't know which end is up. I know that you want to help her, but I can understand that you don't want to enable what sounds like a less than optimal situation. It's a tough situation and I do not think you are being unreasonable at all by placing some limits on how much you help. At the end of the day, sometimes the best life lessons are those that people learn the hard way.

Amy: welcome to our checkin group. It is nice to have you aboard. I am still hanging on to age 49 by a few weeks and live in northern Va. As you can tell by my checkin, I'm into the second half of STS right now. I know it can be a little overwhelming to join a group but just jump right in and join the fun and comraderie. We love having new members.

Well, I went with 40/20. Went hard on the first half and then huffed and puffed through the second half. Guess I will have to save To The Max for Monday's cardio--happy Saturday to all.

Today was a rest day however we did some slow walking for about 30 min. During that time I found an olive tree. Picked some and looked on the internet to see how you would cure them at home. Found a site and will have a small jar ready in several weeks time. It's fermentation where I kinda know (hopefully) how to do it. We'll see how it goes when it's ready.

ReneeP, I'm sorry your niece is going through some hard times. And you too for that matter. Wish I could give advice but I'm just not good on those kinds of things. Prayer and hugs to you my friend.

Michelle, I'm so glad Ripken is doing better. Great job on the cont'd walking with him. Time does fly, I can't believe you are already on the 3rd week of STS meso 2. Great job on the double waves yesterday. And today's 40/20, that's a toughie.

We will be here until the 11th as well. We will be leaving early that day.

The kids come back on the 9th at 8:17 PM flight. So I have most of that day to connect with you. On the 10th is my son's birthday, can connect then too but only for a little while. I'm thinking in the morning or early afternoon. Let Joey and I know when you are available and will try to meet somewhere. Maybe at a buffet? I won't drive in Vegas by myself, just to scared to, LOL So Joey will be with me. I'm so excited to meet you in person. Let's do it!:eek:

I finally did cardio supersets today. Yesterday I did power step from cardio hits. Not sure the name. I then did gym styles bi..shoulder and back. I am a little sore in biceps. I love getting sore! I never get it much anymore. I get joint soreness first usually these days :( not sure why. So anyway I also today did yoga relax..cleaned house. Then showered an made super. Now I'm relaxing reading a book. Man, Monday coming already!
