Tonight was disc 30, shoulder, biceps and triceps. Whew! Upped those weights too. This is so cool!
Went to a UPick farm today and picked 30 pounds of pickling cukes. I had no idea really now much I had until I was preparing them for fermentation. Wow! I think some might be for Christmas presents this year. LOL
Tomorrow is blackberry picking. Then the garden needs to be weeded and put back to shape since I neglected it this year. Can't go back to the beach until all is done. My incentive to get this done, and my reward is the beach house. Will be leaving for Vegas earlier than expected so don't have much time left for the ocean.
ReneeP, You can come walk with us any time. So glad to hear your father is doing better. My Dad and I joke around too. I think you are right, it's a survival thing. Great job on SM, I love that one.
Laura, Proud of you for getting back into exercise. You are going to look fabulous in a few days. Nice smooth skin. I've never had one done, but I can imagine how great it will look. Good for you. Here's a link to the recipe I use.
Good Food Day LA and Lady Caraway Kraut | The Cultivated Life
I use Himalayan Salt, but kosher salt or sea salt is just fine (don't use table salt). Lots of people use 3 T. per 5 pounds of cabbage. To top it off (need to make sure cabbage is covered in brine) use 1 t. sea salt in 1 cup of water.
It's really good. Yea, I'm so glad someone is doing Paleo with me. When will you be starting? As you know, I'm tweaking it a bit, and including Steal cut oats in the morning and then this fermenting food. It is really helping me with my reflux disease. I use it as a condiment or a very small side dish because of the salt. At least this is what I'm learning to do. I've always had to watch my portion sizes.
ReneeP, Oh No, I'm so sorry to hear your Dad is in pain. (Prayers and hugs for both of you). Great job on Turbo Barre and SM. Good for you. Keep us posted on your Dad.
Michelle, How ya doing?
Take care,
Janie
