miichelle great to hear from. You know I think a bout that ripkin of yours and it is a blessing he doesn't know he is sick. I think about humans and for me I don't know if I'd want to know either. I think I'd not want to know.
Well today I think I may do cardio fusion. Not real sure yet. II wad thinking of getting cardio kicks and circuit Max soon. Or the cross train series. Do any of you like them? They seemlike fun. But I don't hear that great music in them I like that is cathe's norm.. I am lisstening for some rocken music. LOL.

I though I had a free day and since I had lots of energy wanted to do 30/30. After I did that, I wanted to record it on FB, but what I saw and was really suppose to do was BC. Since I already had a sweat fest I decided to do the weight lifting for biceps and triceps. Oh well, I still think I had a terrific workout, just not planned. LOL:D I have HIS and besides the step workout will do it's back and chest. Then Joey and I will go to the Beach House to do some work. Should be back home on Wednesday. I'll try to post over there, but the last time I tried it didn't work out.

Michelle, Congratulations on the finishing up with STS/LIS on a month of Total Body Recharge rotation. Sounded like it was a really good rotation. Enjoy your boat this weekend and this beautiful season. I'm glad to hear that you and Ripken are doing well. I agree about the last 10 pounds. I'll be patient. Last night my throat was drippy so I took 1/4 of a cold pill. I finally got some sleep after 3:00am. I did get sleep in and caught up on my sleep. I'm taking more vit. C and gargling. I feel much better. Not coughing thank God, and tonight I hardly feel pain in my throat. Yea! Your remedy made all the difference in the world. Thank you.

ReneeP, Oh, how I hate the war between the scales. No fun, but I'm going to try to be patient. I think. I hope. LOL:D You are so funny. I can see breaking up with your scale. LOL:eek:. How are you doing with the weight? If you don't mind me asking. Losing, same, gaining?

I had company yesterday so I didn't do a cardio. I got up yesterday back hurting still. OK
I did yoga then did cleaning by the time I was ready to try cardio fusion that's when company came. I never met them it was my husband friend from military and the wife and kids we actually had a nice time. I'm glad I hope she will come back! She is nice not pressy and down to earth and my age! I am a loner and I usually like that. But I do miss having a friend to talk to.
Just hard to find anyone that gets my humor and I can trust
She seems like I can get to know her. Well today I need to make up for no exercise from yesterday.
Janie I lost 10 pounds last year got on a site to log in calories and lost none any more then gained 3 pounds. Once my foot hurt I gained 5 more and now I've stayed where I'm at now so far. I'm very frustrated. I wont give up.. I keep. Thinking I am gonna figure out why works for me soon. I don't think logging my calotis working, I seem to eat more! LOL.
 
Posting from the boat. After doing the cardiosupersets plus step premise yesterday we got motivated and loaded up the truck to come over to the boat. We are officially in the boat season. Worked my patoot off yesterday but got a lot done. Doesn't take much effort to convert to boat mode. Ripken is sure enjoying being here. I'm all about making every day a happy one for him. Joseph seems relaxed and happy as well. I will start Cathe's June rotation tomorrow.

ReneeP: it is frustrating when you do the toto on your weight isn't it? I'm with Janie--just hang in there and keep exercising.

Janie: enjoy the beach. We will be here when you get back.

I'm at the beach house right now and finished painting the ceiling in the living room. Joey can now lay in the Pergo flooring starting tomorrow morning while I'm in bed. He He:D. Today I did a little chest no back and walked the beach with Rolly. Tomorrow I will catch up on the chest and back. Oh! I weigh 133 pounds. But just by the skin of my teeth.:rolleyes:

ReneeP, Why is your back hurting? Exercising? Great job on today's yoga and clean Max. Cardio Fusion can be caught up. Don't worry. Sounds like you had a good time and perhaps a friend. I hope so. It's always nice to be able to talk to someone even about girly things. I know how frustrating it can be about trying hard to lose pounds. Just keep exercising no matter what. But, when you can diet is so very important too. I'm lucky I know that the Paleo diet works for me. And very grateful. But like I said, I really don't have a choice. It's Paleo or I suffer horridly.

Michelle, Great job on yesterday's cardio super sets + step prem. So glad you are now at the boat. And I can tell you got a lot done. Good for you. Aw, I can envision how happy Ripken is. That's cool. You are a great mama. Can't wait to hear about the June rotation.

Quick check-in. Started the June rotation: first week is 4DS. This morning was Higher Intensity Training with back and chest weight work. Good way to start the week. Feeling my lower back a little, but nothing serious. Will be sure to stretch every once in a while today.

ReneeP: I forgot to answer your question about Cardio Kicks and Circuit Max. This was the last "oldie" Cathe dvd that I bought late last year. I've done both workouts at least once and I'm not going to say it is my favorite and I have no recollection on the music. But it's Cathe. How can you go wrong? Big fan here of CardioFusion. Great, fun long workout.

Janie: Congratulations on 133 pounds. I had noticed that your ticker had gone down another pound. Sweet!

Got all 15 plants into the ground and also brought a couple more plants from home that I dug up in hopes they will grow here. Took me hours to do this and now I'm too spent to do my chest and back. I'll have to do it when I get home and double on the exercises. My hands are immobile, they are so sore. LOL But it's done! Yea! Tomorrow a rest day.

Michelle, Good for you starting on the promised June rotation! I love 4DS except that one step in Higher Intensity Training which the choreography is very advanced. But one day I'll get there. How did that go for you? Great job doing that one.

Of isn't the way it was.. not normal feeling. I have to keep mixing it up to prevent pain. However today thee bones in top of foot was hurting, today. I guess where I had surgery years ago... it just will never be normal. My back is slowly getting better. I think a little yoga. Helps. I did. Yoga relax last week and sat I did Kathy Smith basic that one truly is relaxing. Its more floor work LOL. You did great! 15 plants? LOL my mom loved planting too. I may try post pics of her yard.
Michelle please tell me how The rotation helps you. II wanted to do it but I don't, have a lot of the DVDs. I am gonna look and see what can be substituted. Did you ask me if I had pets? Not sure if it was you or not but yes I do. . I have a small dog supposed to be a shitzu and something else no clue. But she is kinda ugly. Well others ask what she is but I think she is cute.so ugly she's cute. I saw her and had to keep her. I was afraid Noone would want her. She's kinda raggady looking with lower teeth Bucky. Her eyes are light brown with green around them and they are crocked when she is excited! LOL her mouth and nose are even light brown and I sware it looks kinda like lips. Her hair. Is kinda like a shitzu around her face kinda looks like a monkey LOL. I love her.. she is so sweet. I named her Mabel cause she looks like old lady with a beard LOL. Then I have a lab named Duke whom is a big baby LOL he crys to get attention! So sweet. A a gray big cat named Raven .. I love him to. We have been so lucky to have been blessed with such loving animals. They always make me smile
And Mabel well gosh I can be in a bad mood and look at her and just have to smile. She will even lookk at me in my eyes like she talking to me.
 
Well, I think I'm going to have to go to the doctor for this dang vertigo. It seems to get better and then it bothers me for a few days. At this point, I am just annoyed. This morning I did just the weight part of 4DS bootcamp. I just didn't think my balance was going to be there for the bootcamp part. The weights were triceps and biceps. I'm a bit encouraged with my bicep curls. 15 pounds is my max and they didn't seem quite as hard in the first pyramid up section and I used 15 pounds for the hanging concentration curls at the end. I always feel like I don't do those quite right.

ReneeP: I think maybe Janie or Laura asked if you had any pets. I'm a big dog kind of gal and love retrievers. Our pup before Ripken was a yellow lab-such a wonderful dog. It sounds like you are trying to hang with the yoga until your back feels better. That is probably not a bad idea.

Janie: you and Shadowpup are the great gardeners in this group. 15 plants or 15,000--I can't see me dealing with either number.

LOL I think some one on a different forum asked about dogs.LOL yep the air headedness came out. And I gave a whole explaination too.

I am gonna do yoga or just a long stretch after my workouts or on rest days. But I can't not do cardio. LOL. Well no clue yet what ill do for today yet. I have to do something

Hi everyone! Long day yesterday so I didn't get a chance to post! :-(

Friday & Saturday were so busy I didnt post or work out!!

Sunday I did my Yoga & STS back & bi's ( week 1 meso 2)

Monday I subbed a yoga class in addition to my 2 other normal classes

Today I just finished STS Chest, Shoulders & Tri's

Eliza is home sick with a fever! Hope she is better!! It is her last week of school!

I havent been 100% on Paleo yet but doing better and better! I haven't lost weight but 5 people asked me if I had lost weight yesterday so...... I should take my measurements! I downloaded some Paleo books this morning (just the samples). & I will check them out tonight!

Janie congratulations on being 134! That's awesome! U must be so proud That all your hard work has paid off!

Renee lol I know me and my scale have a rocky relationship! Hope that's gonna change soon!

Michelle did you enjoy the boat? When's the road trip?
 
Today I cleanemaxed the beach house while trying to not be in joey's way for putting in Pergo. (of course I did, but o well) That's when Rolly and I decided to take a walk at the beach in this gorgeous weather for about an hour and a half. When we got back Joey got the living room done and wow does it look fantastic to me. The tip out is the blue that's in the hallway and the attached to it, is the living room where it is a driftwood effect pergo. (that's what he was doing all day) So it looks like ocean water then sand and driftwood. I'll take photos of it, and show it to you when we get home tomorrow. Did laundry swept all the rooms, cleaned the bathroom. Oooo it smells lovely. Dishes and made dinner. Hey, it's just like a home. LOL:rolleyes:

ReneeP, So sorry about the chronic pain you are having. It has got to be so frustrating. Glad the yoga helped your back. My goodness. Great job on all the exercises you did last week. I like Kathy Smith, I use to do those DVD's a lot. Oh, I would love to see your mother's yard. Your Mabel (shitzu mix) sounds so wonderful. I love unusual dogs like that. Michelle, Oh no! I don't blame you for seeing a doctor if the vertigo is still with you. Darn! I'd be interested to see how they treat it. Great job on the weight in 4DS BC, triceps and biceps. hey seeing improvements in weight gain is fantastic. Good for you. Don't blame for not doing the cardio with balance issues. O, how I do miss Shadowpup! :( She was something else with those flowers of hers.

Laura, Looks like some week you had with all those exercises you did. Poor Eliza, hope she gets better soon. Losing Inches are a good sign the diet is working too. Good for you.

Yes Janie I am frustrated I FEEL old! LOL. It will get better...just got to lose weight I'm sure my joints will thank me.
I jogged today and was looking for a lower body workout easy on back n joints I got good suggestions!

Hey I had some folks at my super early morning yoga class! 6:45 am!!! :). Hope they Come back they seemed to love it! I did a million loads of laundry & got it all put away! That took all day! Then taught my evening class where we basically did some bar work and abs and stretch, for some reason my legs, especially my quads were super sore the past few days.

Janie that sounds fun and interesting! I would love to see pics! You two have done so much. Yes two Ouse although user fun and awesome does mean two houses to clean! I feel that way about my moms since my daughters and I are there so much I want to keep it nice for her!

Renne do you have the Low Impact series? The barre DVD is awesome for leg conditioning with no impact!

Michele sorry about the vertigo that's just pain awful! I have heard so any cases of that just over the past few months!!!! What did he dr say? I agree about the cardio! Can you stick with your walk abouts with Ripkin?
 
Since I missed my back and chest last time today was that and legs but only one cardio warmup. Yep, I'm sick tonight and really feel it. So taking it not so hard. However the weight lifting was as good as Cathe's except for the 25 pound fly's. Mine were 20's in each hand. We did 12 reps at two sets. Whew! I have a trickling down in the back of my throat and just can't seem to cough it up to make it stop and a soar throat. Kinda scary because I feel like I might not be able to catch my breath, but it's all in my head I think. I'm able to breath. Will take one capsule of NyQuil and see what happens.

Anyhoo, it's getting there and still have the kitchen/computer/reading room to do and closets. Joey will go back again on Sunday (I'll be here out of his way) and he will attempt to get some of that done.

ReneeP, Great job on jogging today. Yes, asking for suggestions with wonderful ladies here in Cathe Nation is a good idea. Good for you.

Laura, I hope the people that came to do yoga come back too. CleanMax must be on the menu lately. It's good to have that behind you. Great job on teaching your evening class on bar work, abs and stretches. You are such a good daughter. I bet your mom appreciates you.

Crap Janie I sure hope u r not getting sick and if so. ...well I hope it wont last long! 20# ON FLYS? wow I did 15# the other day and that was heavier then I ever did before. So r such an inspection.
Love those floors! I have a question ..I had hard wood in living room and it has gotten dull a a few scratches ..what is best for cleaning them and then polishing them up? Anything easy?. Oh I hope u didn't think I was saying anything bad about or to u on the thread about slow peeps LOL. I don't think I said anything bad at all. Read it to see. Never want to do that.
 
So sick last night! Didn't get to bed until almost 4:00am. My body just finally let go and succumbed to sleep. Taking a rest day today and will be going into the hot tub for reading. That should help some. I'm grateful I'm still alive! lol:D Oh, all these little cough drops are packed full of sugar, but it does help the throat temporarily. Can only hope for the con't weight loss.

ReneeP, I hope this cold doesn't last long too. Yuck! I'm glad I can inspire you. When I do STS they are heavier still because it is less reps. LOL I can't wait to get started on STS again. But it will be awhile before I do them. After 4 Day Split I will be doing 2 weeks of Shock Cardio Series. When we first discovered Pergo, it was a dream come true. We put it in our living room here (Shelton) to exercise on. We drop weight on it, stomp on it and sweat on it and it still as beautiful as the day Joey put it in. I only sweep it and that's it. No, of course not about saying any thing bad on the Open Discussion. Your answer was honest and heartfelt. Loved it. You always stick up for me ;), that's why I know it was heartfelt.

Hi everyone. Yesterday was subbing a cardio sculpt class and a yoga class.

Today I did a beginner level yoga 1 from my training. I am tired but might try to get a STS workout in later.

Janie: I am geting serious about Paleo, but it takes a lot of preparation, and some time have to fudge a little by using a premade condiment. I've found some great website and groups on Fb so that helps to motivate me. It's hard to adjust my mind set on the fat levels though! I cooked kale greens and eggs in bacon fat today and it was a funny thing because I kept felt like I shouldn't use the bacon grease!! I also ate 3 eggs and 4 pieces of bacon!:eek::eek::eek: GOODNESS! guess I have to be super strict on the the rest of the concepts or I will be in BIG and I mean BIG trouble!!! It worked great for you so I figure I will give it a good chance and see.... hopefully I won't gain though! I also just committed to a ten day cleanse america challenge so that will interrupt my paleo attempt for 10 days only in that I won't be eating animal proteins but the rest is consistent just raw food for 10 days nothing else.... Beach house looks great! Such a transformation sit back and enjoy and feel better soon!


Renee: so what are you doing for exercise? Are you doing a rotation or just different things? Is your foot better? What is your diet plan for losing 10lbs by end of July? If you read my post to Janie you saw I am trying the Paleo diet and see what happens. Even though I was raised in the South cooking in bacon fat has always been such a no-no it's hard for me to adjust! But it sure was yummy and I am still super satisfied 4 hours later...not even remotely interested in eating more!


Michelle: are you on the boat again this weekend? Miss you!
