    STS and STS/Low Impact Series

    There is some doubling up for sure with the STS/LIS rotation, but nothing in the LIS is considered heavy lifting. It's all functional/compound movements, which is what makes it so intense, yet low impact. The only DvD I wouldn't double up with is the Triset one.

    To get the most benefit from STS, I would suggest doing it as written before modifying. You can still do LIS on your non-STS days, but the rotation only does one week from each STS meso cycle in addition to a week with all three. JMHO.

    I would say you definitely need to invest in a bb that goes up to 100lbs. I chest press and dead lift 80lbs. You really get up there in weight in Meso 3. By buying one that goes to 100lbs you can go as light as 10lbs (just the bar) on up to 100.

    Cathe-I just did Week 2 day 2 (Disc 14 and first 25 mins of Athletic training) of the STS/LIS rotation. My question is does the 25 mins include the 6 min warm up? I stopped at 26 mins and it was right after the second set of push-ups. Also, do you recommend to do the cardio portion first...

    Youngest and oldest Cathletes!

    I'll be 37 on 12/24. I've been doing Cathe since I was 20 (1995 I think??). I think my first tape was the original Body max. My mom is the one that got me started. Almost 20 years of working out and there is absolutely no one that is even comparable to Cathe IMHO.

    After STS?

    Same here. Did full body workouts/cardio and threw in some single muscle group workouts (legs, etc). Now I just finished Meso 1 of my second round of STS. I probably took 3 months off in between maybe??

    What fitness clothes do you want to see?

    Something for bigger busted women that provides enough support to do high intensity cardio. It seems like the trend these days goes toward spaghetti strapped tanks and sport bras and those do not work well for me (36C) AT ALL! :D I want to look good when I workout too :)
