...and I DID IT!!!! Did I fool ya?
It was a GREAT run - the weather was absolutely perfect, the course was flat, and I felt great! I couldn't have asked for a better first post-injury race. I came in around 34:03, which is quite a bit better than my predicted 12 minute mile pace. I'll admit, I really pushed myself for the last mile. There was this other chick who kept running in front of me and I really wanted to beat her. And I did - so you know what that means? I didn't come in LAST!
