Hi ladies! I read up on everything that I missed while I was gone. Julie, sorry to hear you were sick, but glad that you are over it. I was so worried about getting sick for our trip because everyone was getting some terrible flu right before we left. DH got a bit of a cold while we were gone that he gave to me, but it wasn’t too bad for either of us luckily! We had such a great time and it just flew by. We both said it would have been nice to have another week. The gorillas were so amazing and our treks weren’t too bad. The first one had some very steep parts, but they had porters to help. There were a couple of times that one of them was pulling me up from the top and someone else was behind me pushing! They told us that we needed to stay 10 meters away from them, but many times we were within just 2-3 feet away because the gorillas don’t know the rules. We got home Thursday afternoon and I tried to do what I thought would be a pretty easy workout on Friday morning - Strong and Sweaty Bootcamp. I was wrong, it was so hard! I had to quit after 30 minutes. Then I felt like a zombie the rest of the day. I forced myself to stay awake until after 9 Friday night and got a great sleep and did LM&R Total Body Saturday morning. It was beautiful outside so i did some yard work to start getting ready to Mulch. We had a hockey game Saturday night so we were both awake until after 10! Sunday I did Rockout Knockout and it went well, but was definitely harder than usual. About 5 minutes into my breakfast I started feeling bad though and ended up getting sick. I must have eaten something that didn‘t agree with me. Luckily though, after vomiting everything up I felt fine! This morningI did Flex Train and once again made it through, even though it was a bit of a struggle. It shouldn’t be so hard to get back into it! Have a great day!
