Strength in Numbers

Walked Rolly for an hour. Yep, it was good, even brought water for us.

Julie, Fantastic job on IMAX2. We are having Fall weather here too. Just seems to soon.

Eunice, I will take pictures for you, but I want to work on it so it looks good first. There are ouside carpeting on the porch that is torn, ratty old curtains that need replacing...I'll be sure to take pictures though, when it's ready. Glad to see you still working out and taking Sam for walks, you look soooooooo busy. School is starting again here.

Cheryl, Fantastic job on MMA KickBox and yesterday's disc 5, back and triceps.

Take care,

Janie

This morning I did High Step Training Advanced! Wow! Those 1-arm tricep dips are nuts. I must have been really tired because I couldn’t make it through the hover squats. I had to modify big time there. Oh well.

Eunice You do sound like you have been busy but also keeping up with your workouts! Good girl! Ouch! I hate when I get hurt but for some reason it is even worse when it is outside of a workout. You know if you get hurt during a workout that you were just pushing yourself too hard but when it is because you weren’t paying attention to where you were walking or just tripping over your own feet, it is frustrating. I am getting ready to take a big rest day next Friday. We have a 9 hour drive to OH for my grandma’s memorial service. Ugh! I guess I feel I gotta work, work this week and next to make up for that. For my sprint intervals, I was doing 7 mph sprints for 90 seconds followed by 5 mph recovery for 90 seconds. I think next time I will lighten up the 7 mph to 6 ½ mph sprints followed by 4 ½ mph recovery.

Cheryl Great job on disc 5 and MMA Kickbox! We are alternating between hot and cold right now. It will be really cold (60s) for a few a days and then heat back up to the upper 70s/lower 80s. I have broken out the coat for a few weeks though because it is really chilly in the mornings. It is hard working out in the mornings when I haven’t gotten a good night’s sleep. I think I am just in such a rhythm of working out in the mornings that it would be even harder to skip it. I also know that once I get started, I start to wake up a little more and can’t stop.

Janie Great job on your walk with Rolly! LOL! I am picturing you both drinking out of the same bottle of water!! I hear you that it seems too soon for Fall. It seems like it was just yesterday that Summer was starting. Now there are pumpkin stands everywhere and the orchards and bakeries are selling apple cider donuts and pumpkin spice donuts. Crazy!

Pam Hope you are all rested up and ready to go from your trip.

Have a great day!

Hi ladies, I'm back! It is so good to be home.
Julie Great job on your 45 minute interval run. I have found that if I do intervals it makes the running a little more bearable for me since I'm not just doing the same thing over and over. You're right though, it will wear you out fast. 45 minutes is a LONG time for that! Great job getting through that and following up with stretching. I can totally relate to the talking yourself into running. Usually I end up talking myself out of it!

Cheryl Wow, 1000 cars is a really big car show! The only ones I have ever been to are pretty small outdoor ones. I bet that was a lot of fun.

Janie latin dancing, how fun! That is a nice change of pace! I'm so glad to hear that Rolly's thing on his forehead is doing better and that you didn't have to take him to the vet for it.
it sounds like everything is working out well for the beach house. it will be yours in no time now!!
Well, I wasn't quite so good about listening to my body the rest of the week  more on that later!

Julie Oh yea, terminator climbers! Those are almost as bad as the drop roll back and jump up thingies in CCC! I also think that Cedie loses count in the first set because you do 7 in the first set but only 6 in the second. Great job getting through it!

Janie Great job on your TBS workout with Joey!

Julie Great job on Imax 2 and all 128 jeannie hops :p I picked Imax 1 last week for the sole reason of avoiding the jeannie hops  We got the cold front too. Yuck. It was 90 here yesterday and is supposed to be 62 today. Brrrrr.....

Eunice Yes it was good that DH and I got to go to the airport together. He ended up finishing his meetings earlier than planned yesterday and got on an earlier flight so he was home by 5:00 and had to come back and pick me up at midnight. We were both asleep within seconds of our heads hitting the pillows. ! The trip was pretty good. It was very busy so lots of work but I did get to have a really nice dinner (and good wine of course) with an old friend that I haven't seen in almost 2 years who lives there. You always have to get that fun in where you can :D It seems like we are always hurting the same body part at the same time. I think mine is just over use and needs some rest though - it sounds like you injuring yours :( I hope it is feeling better. I still haven't picked out a rotation for next week, I guess I need to take a look at that. Hopefully your ankle will be feeling better for your cardio next week. You need to tell DH to quit hogging the computer and let you chat with your buds :p;) I'm glad to hear that he is doing well, but funny how that shoulder only bothers him when he thinks about vacuuming:rolleyes: I bet the girls dance was really cute!

Good job in keeping up with your workouts and your program. What's in Bendigo....is this a mini vacation?????!!!!!!

Cheryl We got a sudden weather switch too. 90 yesterday and 62 for a high today and tomorrow. It's supposed to be 75 on Sunday though so hopefully this is just a couple of days of fluke with the cold front. It is way too early for it to start getting this cold!
Great job on MMA kickbox and STS disc 5. I hope you were able to get your leg workout in.

Janie Wow, an hour walk, how wonderful. I bet Rolly was in heaven! I think you should take before and after pictures of your new place. You don't have to show the befores until you have the afters, but it will be fun to see the improvement!

Julie Great job on HSTA. I haven't done that one in ages. I think it is just cruel that she does both the 1-arm tricep dips and hover squat in it ;) OUCH OUCH OUCH

So as I said, my recovery week didn't last long. By Wednesday morning I felt like I needed some activity. I did go and walk around this outdoor shopping/living area on Tuesday night, but that wasn't enough. I still didn't want to face the little smelly exercise room, so I did the Cardio Kicks download from my computer. It was great. Then yesterday morning I did Kick, Punch and Crunch. They had a stability ball in the exercise room so I went and got it and an 8 pound weight and brought them to my room for the ab section. That was really good too. As I said I didn't get home until midnight last night, so I got up later than usual, but I had already decided to work at home and take work a little easier today since it was a long week, so I got up and did Body Max 2 Cardio blast premix. I kind've made my own pre-mix though because I didn't want to skip the leg drills and they aren't part of that pre-mix. It was a nice 72 minute workout. That ankle is still tender though :rolleyes: Oh well, I go crazy when I haven't worked out. Have a great Friday everyone!!!!
Pam

Not done with my workouts today, but here are a few photos of our Beach House. Will talk again later tonight.

398502519.jpg

A funny sign I've always wanted to take a picture of. LOL:D

398502522.jpg

Front view of Beach House. Some work with the garden and new outdoor carpet. (Not GreeN!)

398502521.jpg

Back side of Beach House. This will look totally different when we get done with it. Hot tub, closure for the animals...

Dinning area, across from that is the kitchen.

398502645.jpg

Half of the living room. Those awful phony plants will be out of there along with the orange carpet.

398502642.jpg

The other half of the living room.

398502644.jpg

One of the bedrooms.

398502643.jpg

Part of the bathroom, it also has a shower and a garden tub. Sweet.

There is another bedroom, but didn't think I could put all of the photos here at once. The kitchen is small but very useful. The home also has a tiny room for the washer and dryer. This will work out for us during the Summer months. Can't wait! Once I get in there, it will look different from this.

Update: Today was TBS, abs and stretches. Also a 30 min. walk with Rolly.

Janie I love the pictures of the beach house, it looks really spacious, you are going to have such fun? What's with the beach access with no water?.. Funny!

This morning I did step fit for the first time ever! It was fun! Then the abs from LIC. Last night We went to see a Styx concert? It was so much fun, we were in the third row. It started raining though about 3/4 into the show, but we didn't care we had on our raincoats. The people in front of. Us had an extra umbrella and turned around and gave it to us too, so that was pretty nice. Today I'm trying to make home made mozzarella, wish me luck! Have a great day!

Pam

This morning I rode my spin bike for about 90 minutes. I had a DVD in but didn't follow the cadence or anything. I just did my own thing. Now I am at my mom's and we are putting together come picture boards for my grandmother's memorial service that is next weekend.

Janie I love the pictures of the house. It looks really nice and cozy. And I love that sign! So what kind of beach are you going to with no water?

Pam Great job on Step Fit! Is that the one with the macarena cool down? I like that one. The Styx concert sounds like it was fun even in the rain. As long as it is not cold, biting rain, it doesn't seem like it would be that bad. That was nice of the people next to you to share their umbrella.

Have a great weekend!

Julie I struggle with those 1-arm dips. I find my hand hurts from the ridges in the step digging into it. I think our good weather is now gone. We had rain last night and today and it looks like it won't be much better for the next several days.

Pam This car show is one of the biggest in North America it was a lot of fun but we couldn't see all of the cars. I like how you say 62 degrees is a cold front :D. I was doing housework today and and the doors open and the furnace came on . I didn't think it was that cold. I like that you go and take the equipment from that tiny exercise room and take it to your own room, well that is one way to get those ab exercises in on KPC. Nice that kickbox workouts don't need any equipment so you can do it in your room. Ummmm you wanted to take it easy and did a 72 minute workout!!! Good for you doing that with getting to bed so late. Styx would be a fun concert to go to. Too bad it rained buy at least the concert was almost done and the people in front of you had an extra umbrella. I hope your home made mozzarella turns out.

Janie I love the pictures of your beach house. It looks cozy and roomy. I would get rid of the orange carpet too, it is so 70's. Good job on TBs and walking Rolly.

I was so tired yesterday that I didn't get my workout in or got on the computer to post. Today I did STS disk 6 legs. At least I got all of the weight work done but I only got one day of cardio in there. Oh well maybe it will be better next week. Today I got all of the house work done most of the laundry and baked a banana loaf. Now it is time to relax.

Have a great Sunday everyone.

Cheryl

Baked Bread all day today. Here's a photo. Half of one was already eaten. LOL
398518693.jpg

To rainy to take a walk outside. Guess Fall is here. I was hoping not so fast this year.

Pam, Great job on ST. Really first time. It is a fun one. Also great job on abs. Wow a Styx concert, bet you had a ball and you can't beat where you were sitting. OMG! I need to know how your mozzarella turned out. Please share the recipe and the how to. I've always wanted to make cheese. Do you have to have something to push out the whey?

Julie, Great job on your spin bike 90 min. workout. Wow! I'm so sorry for your loss. Were you and your grandma close?

Cheryl
, Great job on STS disc 6 legs. One day of cardio is better than none. Good work! It will be better next week, as you say. You were a very busy lady with all your chores. You earned a relaxation.

Janie That bread looks wonderful. One day I will have the time to make it too. I know what you mean about Fall being here already. It was pouring rain this morning and it is a lot cooler. I was hoping like you that it wouldn't happen so fast either.

Today was yoga buy since it was raining so hard I couldn't ride my bike. Otherwise I didn't do too much since yesterday was quite busy. I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Cheryl

Cheryl You must be laughing all of the time which is good... when I was *Young*(15's) I used to pick funny guys but my mom hated it, I couldn't get one  I loved to laugh to a good looking guy:p Not any more now I have a old grumpy man hehehe! No his not, but that's how I called him.... OMG today it was so hot 24 FD? in the house so hot.Good job doing all of your workouts.

JanieGood job keeping Rolly busy he must be a very happy puppy! Busy, busy, I wasn't home all weekend and now I'm all behind my work as usual.

JulieGood job doing HST, I couldn't do those 1-arm triceps dips either, I don't blame you those hover squats are KILLERS. My foot is better now still a little bit sore but I handled to do my cardio today, yayay!!! I couldn't take Sam out today, but tomorrow I will. Well even when I'm sure you don't want that kind of rest, I'm sure seating in the car for 9 hours its going to give you backache:p not rest! Good job doing those intervals.

PamSo good to have you back! I bet both of you were so tired, I love when I go to bed and it take me seconds to fall to sleep and hardly wake up during the night.... So glad that you had fun, good food, door wine, good friends so nice. We are hurting the same body parts huh? The thing is that it is the same foot that last year I sprinted and it took for ever to heel, I don't know why but all of my injuries take for ever to heel, and DH is so much better now, he even did the grass this weekend. Yes I know his a hogger! is that a word? haha!! Our weather is changing, so hot today and I'm not looking for that, maybe I should I've being working out so hard that maybe I can wear shorts and show my arms:eek: we'll see. OH boy! yes I think you get crazy when you don't workout:p I thought that you would be getting one of those nice long rest but not you always find the way to WO, I need to do the same if one day I'm away, so far if I go out I pack my food, I have to make sure I have food to eat every 3 hours, that, I like it!Take care of your ankle Pam, I know me too. So windy right this moment that I think we are going to loose electricity, it was acting funny, so I better hurry and post before I loose everything.

JanieNice little house you've got! I love the spacious, I'm sure that when you finish with all the work that you want to do its going to look amazing!! OMG I just love your bread, I can imagine that crust and toasty bread, I haven't eat any bread for the whole 5 weeks and I don't miss it, I guess I don't have a room during the day to think about eating it:D but your I can eat it just because I know I won't, I'm way too far away from it.:D

PamGood job doing SF I think I've done that one before, I'm sure, Wow! it sounds like a lot of fun at the concert even when it was raining.. Good luck doing your mozzarella I hope it turn out sooooo yummy!

Julie Good for you for doing the spin workout, well enjoy being with your mom and take care, I'm sure this is going to be a very sad week.

CherylGood job doing disc 6, Hmmmm banana bread sounds so good. Well have a nice deserved rest!

Well today I did back and cardio, finally I got my Cathe fix, I did Cardio moves for a moderate cardio in some parts I had to slow down or not jump because I was supposed to stay in between 135-150 something and I did I didn't finish the whole thin I only did 36 min. Tomorrow I have chest and 30 min cardio we are doing supper sets so it was a good workout today for back only I did it in 45 min. so It was good tomorrow again super sets so we have pushups and bench press and all that fun stuff, I hope I can survive that, yes I can!!! I might be soooo tired this week, Oh! and this week we do 6 day workout so its going to be fun with lots and lots to eat...:p:D Have a nice Monday/Sunday

Julie Great job on your 90 minute spin, wow!!! That is looooong! I usually only spin for 45-60 minutes. I like doing my own thing on the spin bike too. I put on my ipod and just spin to the music. I really like the picture boards at memorials, they really are nice to make you remember special times. I hope it was nice to put it together with your mom too.
Yep, Step Fit has the macarena cool down. It had been a long time since I'd done the macarena too!

Cheryl The only problem I would have with going to the car show it that it would probably make me want a new car  We are going to be needing one before too long as my Land Cruiser has 240k miles on it, but it just keeps going, so as long as it's running fine I'm happy!
Oh man, I hope it's awhile before our furnace has to come on. I did notice that the AC isn't running anymore. We're supposed to be back in the mid 80's this week though. I think 60 is cold! We had our winter coats on and everything :confused:
Yea, I didn't really realize that workout was 72 minutes long, just chose it because it worked for me. Oh well.....
Great job on disck 6, those m1 leg discs are such toughies, hope your legs were ok on Sunday!. It sounds to me like ou got some cardio in doing the housework and laundry! Great job on your yoga on Sunday too, too bad you weren't able to ride your bike though :(

Jnaie OMG, your bread looks amaaaaaazing! I can almost smell it from those pictures. I need to put bread baking on my to do list. of course I have to master this cheese thing first!
Oh yes, Step Fit was a fun one. I thought I had bought the download a while ago and then realized I hadn't, so I downloaded it on Friday. It's a bargain at only $7!

Eunice I almost always fall asleep in seconds. My DH says that I just go go go all day until I drop! He doesn't usually fall asleep so fast though. Although last night he was the one who fell asleep on the couch while I finished watching a movie, maybe we are changing roles!
I think your injuries take a long time to heal because you don't rest them! You just keep working through them. I can't really give you much of a hard time for that though, because I'm the same way. I know I should be resting this ankle, but I keep thinking it's going to magically feel better. Plus it only bothers me when I'm working out  So glad to hear that your DH is doing so much better, is he well enough to run the vacuum cleaner yet :p;) I would much rather have the hot weather, I get so sad when it starts getting cold. Whenever we drive by a pond and I can see the heat rising off the water I get mad because I know we won't be able to ski much longer  We didn't ski at all this weekend because it was so cold  You definitely need to get showing off those awesome arms and legs now that you are getting warm weather!!

Great job on back and cardio. I bet you were happy to finally see Cathe again. Does this mean that you are into phase 2 of the program already? I know you will survive the pushups and bench presses!

I chose Cathe's April rotation (I think? It might be May) and started it this morning with LIC. I always forget how hard the weight work is in that one. Those barbell curls with the band get me so bad every time, I always have to drop the band part way through. So my mozzarella trials this weekend were failures :( I tried 4 different times and none of them really worked properly. Twice I ended up with ricotta. There was one that ended up looking pretty close to mozzarella after I chilled it, but it was supposed to get there while it was warm?! Then my last attempt was going really well, everything looked perfect and I got to the step where you re-warm to 105 degrees. Well I had it on the stove with my thermometer in and I turned around and thought I'd just get the stuff out of the fridge for the salad for dinner. I started making the salad and forgot all about the cheese!!!:mad::eek: When I turned around it was at 167 degrees! Ooops. I've been doing a lot of reading to try and figure out what the problem is and it sounds like it could be the milk. Many of the sites say you need non pasteurized milk but I have no idea where to find that. Even the milk at the famer's market was pasteurized. I am going to try to find a local cheese making shop to see if they can help. Last night's lasagne was still sooooo good even though I had to go out and buy mozzarella! Have a great Monday/Tuesday ladies!

Pam

This morning I did Step, Jump, & Pump! It went by super-fast and was super fun, as always! My department is having a picnic today. So I get to leave work for the park at 10:45. Hopefully they let us leave the park early so I can get home earlier than normal. Saturday was hard on mom putting the pictures together. She was really cranky but I can’t blame her. Then she started tearing up when she remembered that Sunday would have been my grandma’s birthday. I told her that I had bought grandma’s birthday card a few days before she died so now I have a birthday card for a grandmother and no grandma to give it to. Maybe I shouldn’t have told her that.

Cheryl Great job on disc 6! You did really well with your workouts last week, even with only 1 day of true cardio. Meso 1 is more like cardio and weights in my opinion so really you got a little more than 1 day of cardio. Mmmm! Banana loaf! I haven’t made banana bread in so long. It sounds really good right now. Great job on yoga too! Doing nothing sounds great to me. DH and I try to make Sunday our lazy day every week. We love to sleep in late, cook a big breakfast, and then lay around all day sunuggling with the dogs and watching TV. Yesterday I had to do some laundry and start getting things packed for this weekend so it wasn’t quite as lazy as I like Sunday to be.

Janie Your bread looks delicious as always. Yep we are getting Fall weather too. Well mostly. Tomorrow is supposed to be close to 80 but the rest of the week is lower 70s which is late summer/early fall here. The farmers are starting to harvest around here which definitely means the end of summer. I was semi-close to my grandma. She always lived several states away my whole life but made it a point to come see me every birthday and special occasion like graduations. She actually passed away in August but the family had to wait until this weekend to have the memorial service because of conflicts.

Eunice Great job on your cardio workout! I’m impressed you kept it moderate. That must have been really hard. I would definitely find it hard to not give it my all while watching Cathe. I don’t think my grandma’s death has really hit me yet. I think it is because she died in mid-August but we are just now going to have the memorial service. I think once we get to OH next weekend with the rest of the family, it will hit me hard. Sounds like your DH is making good process healing. That should have him in a good mood!

Pam Great job on LIC! Oh yea, those barbell curls with the band get you good! They’re a love/hate move for me. So are bicycle crunches. I hate them but I know they are getting me good. Bummer the mozzarella didn’t turn out especially with all that effort. 90 minutes is long but on Saturdays I can afford to spend a little more time working out and I knew I was basically going to be doing nothing the rest of the day so it evened out. It was nice putting the picture boards up to reflect back on the good times but I think my mom had a hard time with it since she has now lost both her parents.

Have a great day!

Eunice It must have been hard to do only part of Step Moves, but at least you got your cardio fix. Nice that you are sticking with the program, did you notice a difference in the first four weeks?

Pam If your car is running fine I would keep it until it starts to give you trouble. Wow a Land Cruiser is a big vehicle. For me the mid 80's is too hot and 60 is just a little cool not cold. You would be in your winter coats all the time if you lived here :D. The furnace hasn't come on again but I know time is running out for us. It is suppose to be in the mid 70's here tomorrow but the rain is suppose to start again on Wednesday. I can't do the barbell work with the band, at least with the newer bands that I got from Cathe. The old one that I had wasn't as stiff as these new ones are and I could do it. Too bad that your mozzarella didn't turn out but at least you got ricotta ;). I don't know if you can even buy non pasteurized milk, maybe the cheese shop can help you out.

Julie Good job on SP&J. I hope you enjoyed your picnic today and got home early. Sorry that doing the pictures were hard on your mom, they are nice to have at the funeral though. I hadn't made banana loaf for a long time either but I had some bananas that were too ripe to eat and I didn't want to throw them out. At least it was cooler to turn the oven on. It is nice to have a lazy day glad that you and DH try to do it every Sunday.

Today was STS disk 7 Chest Shoulders and Biceps. I can tell I am stronger on the push ups though I still have to go to my knees sometimes. However that being said I still won't miss them once meso 1 is done.

Have a great Tuesday everyone.

Cheryl

Today was Joey and I did TBS, abs and stretches. Walked Rolly for 30 min.

Eunice, You are so funny. LOL Great job on back and cardio. I'm glad you were able to do Cathe workouts.

Pam, I'm so excited about your cheese thing. Sorry the cheese aren't coming along as planned. Don't give up, I'm sure you'll get the hang of it. Great job on LIC.

Julie, Great job on SJ&P. Oldie and I love that one. Loosing a loved one as you know is hard. It's good to talk about those things. It helps I think. I think your mom needed a cry and a memory. She'll feel better for it.

Cheryl, Great job on STS disc 7 Chest Shoulders & Biceps. You are doing so well. Congrats on getting stronger. I love that feeling.

Take care ladies,

Janie

Julie Great job on SJ&P. I love that one, but the step part is not my favorite. It goes by fast though and I really like the rest of it! I hope you had fun at your picnic yesterday and that you had nice weather. Awww, sorry to hear that Saturday was hard for your mom :( You go through so many different emotions at those times. I remember my mom having a really hard time when her mother died too, not just because it was her mother, but because now both of her parents were gone. Big hugs to you and your mom. I know this weekend will be difficult.

Cheryl That's my plan with my car, keep it until it drops. It has been such a great car, we have never had any problems with it. I used to laugh at people from the south who would be all cold when it was in the 60's and now I am one of them  I really do think that there is something to that blood thinning thing!
Great job on disc 7 and being stronger on those push ups!! You just have one more meso 1 chest disc left, right?

Janie Great job on TBS, abs, stretches and your Rolly walk! I am determined to figure out this mozzarella making thing! Not sure if I will try again this weekend, but will continue to do research. Once I have it figured out I will share what works.

Eunice Was that hogger on the computer all day again?! Isn't it about time for him to go back to work :p;) Hope to hear from you soon!

This morning for me was Hiit DWP. I used to think that one wasn't too bad, but I am not thinking that anymore. The last few times it has really kicked my butt. I think it's all those 1/4 turns that really get me. Anyway, I got through it! I hope everyone has a great day!

Pam

This morning I rode my bike (again ) for a little over an hour. I put in a scenery DVD that was filmed in St. Lucia and went through the jungle and along the beach and listened to my Mp3 player. It was a good, fun, sweaty ride.

Cheryl Great job on disc 7! Excellent job on feeling stronger with the pushups! Those are the hardest part of Meso 1 I think. We did get to leave the picnic early by about 30 minutes before my normal end time. It wasn’t the best day weather-wise as it was cool and drizzly but at least there was a shelter there.

Janie Great job on TBS, abs, and stretches plus walking Rolly for 30 min. My mom is having a hard time but not as hard as when she lost her dad 11 years ago. That was unexpected and she was a lot closer to her dad than her mom. I worry about how hard she is taking this though because she already has high blood pressure and doesn’t take good care of herself. I know the only thing I can do though is listen to her and be there for her when she needs me.

Pam Great job on DWP! Oh I hate those ¼ turns and the fact that you do them 4 times! I am always cheering once I get done with that final round of those suckers! I couldn’t believe how fast all of SJP went yesterday. It is a pretty long workout (75 min?) but it felt like 45. The weather was icky yesterday; cool and drizzly but we had shelter so it wasn’t too bad. Thanks for the hugs! It will be tough but also nice to finally put my grandmother to rest.

Have a great day!

Janie Good job on TBS with Joey, abs, stretching and walking Rolly. It does feel good doing all those push ups though they are not all on my toes. I still have some work to do on those.

Pam If you aren't having any problems with your car you should keep it. They can cost a lot of money to get a new one. I know what you mean about blood getting thinner. We have had people from Toronto and Winnipeg move here and the first couple of winters they are in their shirt sleeves, after that they are in their winter coats and not making fun of the rest of us anymore :D. We both did Hiit DWP today. I agree those 1/4 turns are a killer.

Julie Sounds like you are getting a good workout with you bike. I think having a DVD in with scenery makes it go by faster. Too bad that you didn't get good weather for your picnic but at least you could go under cover.

Today was Hiit DWP and I am with Pam that the 1/4 turns are the worst, though listening to Funky Town for the first set helps. Well hockey has started again. It seems like it just ended. The Canucks first exibition game is on TV right now. You won't believe this today at work I went over to talk to someone and I was looking out the window at the condo that is across the street and there was a couple there with all the curtains open lying naked on the bed and getting a little frisky . I was not quite expecting to see that, but the person whose desk I was at said that the guy is always naked and the curtains are always open so I guess this is pretty normal. The girl did have a nice tan though :p.

Have a great Wednesday everyone.

Tomorrow we will have our grandson spend several days with us, then the next day we will have my Dad. Awesome times. Walked Rolly for 30 min.

Pam, Fantastic job on Hiit DWP. It is a hard one. I hope you figure the cheese thing out. ;)

Julie, Over an hour of bike riding/spinning is awesome. Would love to go through that ride. Sounds great. That's all you can do for your mom, is be there for her. You are a good daughter. (((((hugs))))).

Cheryl, Fantastic job on Hiit DWP. Love Funky Town, brings back memories. Neighbors must like people looking in on them. They must know they are being looked at. What do you call that? Exhibitionists? I guess what ever turns you on. LOL

See you all tomorrow,

Janie
