Strength in Numbers

Janie Wow, you sound like you are all set with wonderful veggies for awhile. That is just so nice and very sweet of your dad to bring. I think if he is able to be on his own then he should be, good for him! I worry about my mom driving all over the place and all of the stuff that she does, bu she would just not be happy if she wasn't doing it, so I mostly bite my tongue!
How fun that your dad did some of TBS with you! Great job to you and Joey for doing that along with abs and stretching!
Wow, today is the big day for you! Congratulations! Hope everything goes smoothly with the signing!

Skiing is definitely winding down. It's only going to be in the 60's this weekend after being in the 80's all week. We just don't enjoy going out there and being cold so we won't be at the lake if it is in the 60's. Then DH is out of town for the next 2 weekends so we are probably done for the season :(

This morning for me was Hiit 30/30 and then I did Weights and Plates abs. Man that is sooooo hard. I got about as breathless from that as I did from 30/30. After all that plate work I just collapsed face down on the floor. The weight section is no piece of cake either. I kept asking myself why I chose that ab workout? At least it's behind me now! Have a great day everyone!

Pam

No workout this morning. DH was going to work later in the morning today and since running on the treadmill is pretty noisy and can keep him awake, I decided to sleep in today with him. Not sure if I will try to get a run in this afternoon. Depends on whether he is home or not when I get home tonight. I am leaning towards taking the day off since I did workout on Sunday.

Pam Great job on Circuit Max! That is a good one. Bummer that 2 of the couples are having issues. I hope they do work it out. It would be difficult to have to choose between friends. I didn’t really care for the recumbent bike. Like you it didn’t really get my heart rate up. The elliptical was ok. It got my heart rate up but I found it a little awkward. I think it is because it wasn’t adjustable and I am very short so my stride length isn’t as long as a normal persons. I would use it again but might try to figure out how to adjust it. I did enjoy CB much more than I thought. It was quite the calorie burner for being so short. It seems like it would be a good one to do when I am short on time. Great job on 30/30 and W&P! Those are both toughies and I completely understand about collapsing on the floor after the plate work. Sorry that your skiing season is over. Let’s hope for a short winter so you can get back on the lake!

Janie Great job on TBS and getting your dad involved! Sounds like you also got a lot done with those veggies. Bet it feels great to have those ready to eat all winter long. If your dad can live on his own, I think that is the best thing for him. Are there retirement communities around there? Around here they have communities of townhouses or apartments that have call systems in place in case the resident needs help. So it is not really assisted living but more of a gated community that would be able to get medical help to individuals if needed. That way you wouldn’t have to worry about him not being able to get help if he needs it. Of course, if he has a cell phone, that may not be an issue either.

Have a great day!

Janie So nice that your dad brought you all of the veges. It will be nice to have over the winter. If your dad is still able to live on his own he should be able to have his own apartment. As Julie mentioned maybe a place that caters to retired people who be a good place for him.

Julie Sorry that you weekend was difficult but at least you got to workout at the hotel. I find that helps with the stress. Closing out an estate can take time but hopefully it will go smoothly for your mom. Well for some people 8 pm is early but not for me or you.

Pam No I didn't get any cardio in this weekend but weight wise I haven't been gaining anything so that is good. Good job on Circut Max. It is fun doing the old workouts. I hope the two couples patch things up. It would make things awkward if they don't. Nice job on Hiit 30/30 and Weights and Plates abs.

I didn't get a chance to post yesterday, the day seemed to just fly by. I have been working out in the evening since that seems to work out better for me though I will still workout in the mornings that I am off. So yesterday I did STS Disk 10 Chest, Shoulders and Biceps. I am so glad that I am finished with those pushups. Today it was Hiit 40/20 and stability ball abs. Wow it has been a long time since I have done either of those workouts.

Have a great Wednesday everyone.

Cheryl

We signed at Escrow. The beach house is now ours. Or at least until it gets to court. For sure by Late tomorrow or early Thurs. Yahoooooooooo! Oh, we measured how far it is from our house and for sure it is 1/2 mile exactly. So sweet.

After that my Dad took us out to the fishing village and bought us lunch to celebrate. Real Fish & Chips. Ummmmmmmm. Tomorrow I'm going to try to make a squash soup. we'll see. We exercise tomorrow too.

Yep, Dad says the place he will try to get into does indeed cater to the elderly. Everything is working out so nicely. Happy days.:D

Pam, I agree about our aging parent driving and have to bite my tongue too. That would be so hard to give up that independents. Awe, I was hoping you could get one more ski in. Well, on to the next thing. Great job on Hiit 3/30 and Weight & Plates abs. YOU WORKED HARD! I have DOM"S today. Does that count? LOL:D

Julie, Hope you had a rest day. You deserve it. Yep, Dad is going to be on his own. I'm so glad about that.

Cheryl, Great job on STS disc 10, chest shoulders and biceps and today's Hiit 40/20 and abs. Love that one!

Have a good one ladies.

Janie

Julie Good for you for enjoying a sleep in day. I bet your DH appreciated your thoughtfulness!
I really hope these couples work things out too. They have been REALLY good friends for several years. One of the women posted a comment on FB yesterday that made me think something good might've happened there so keeping my fingers crossed. I had no idea you were short, how tall are you? It's so hard to tell from just reading posts :D:rolleyes: I think it would be tough to enjoy the elliptical if it wasn't set right for your stride for sure. I'm glad you enjoyed CB, it really is a great short on time workout. The cardio only premix is a really great quick add on too.
I'm am with you on hoping for a short winter!!! Last winter was so long and cold, we don't need that again!

Cheryl Great job on STS disc 10 and 40/20 and stability ball abs! I think I have that ab workout on the calendar for tomorrow. CONGRATULATIONS on finishing all of those nasty m1 pushups too! It's so nice to have those behind you, isn't it?!

Janie YIPPPPEEEEE! Congratulations on being an official beach house owner! Your fish and chips lunch sounds like the perfect way to celebrate. Oh, I just LOVE fish and chips! You are making me hungry! The place that your dad is looking at sounds perfect. My grandmother lived in one of those communities and just loved it. She had so many friends there and there were always activities to get involved in. That is wonderful. Yummmm...I love Squash soup, enjoy that!
I was hoping to get one more ski in too, but we both had a good day skiing and so we thought it was a good end to the season. In fact, DH had his best day so far this year. He didn't even ski a second set because he didn't want to spoil it. And yes, DOMs ABSOLUTELY count!!!

Hi Eunice I hope you are doing well, we miss you!!!

This morning for me was High Step Challenge. Such a great workout and I haven't done it in so long. I was worrying about whether or not this was the one with the one-arm tricep dips, so I was happy that it wasn't! Those hover squats at the very end are always such killers though. OK, I have a funny story to share from last night. I went out for drinks after work with a few folks that I used to work with. We were sitting there having our drinks and talking and the bartender came over to me and said, 'by the way, your wine is from the gentleman in the white shirt in the corner'. I looked over expecting to see someone I knew and No, I have no idea who this guy is. So I got really worried and nervous and didn't know what to do. I was so nervous I was sweating! Right around then one of the women I was with looked up and said 'oh look, there's Greg'. I turn around and our friend Greg is sitting behind us with my DH and another guy. DH had sent me the wine and then said to say it was from some random guy in the bar. He was sitting back there watching me panic and just laughing. He was pretty proud of himself. OK, I need to get to work now. Have a great day ladies!

Pam

I decided not to run last night when I got home. It felt nice to have a rest day but I was back at this morning with Drill Max. That one sure does sneak up on you. I always feel like I start out strong; and then by the end, I am wiped out.

Cheryl Great job on disc 10 and finishing those pushups! That is probably the best part of Meso 1—being done with the pushups! Great job on 40/20 and SB abs! I think working out at the hotel did help with the stress.

Janie Yea!!! The Beach House is officially yours now! That is very exciting. Lunch with your dad sounded good and I am glad he is looking into places that would be there if he needs them. It is good to see people live on their own with as much independence as possible for as long as they can.

Pam Great job on HSC! Isn’t it nice (and sneaky) of Cathe to put those hover squats in at the very end! That story is funny! But of course if it had been me, DH may have been in for a treat of his as payback later! I am really short. I am 5 foot even in kitten heels if that tells you anything! Being this short makes life interesting that is for sure. I always tell my DH I married him for his height. He is 6 foot and without him I would always be dragging out a step stool to reach the top cupboards.

Have a great day!

Janie CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! That is so exciting for you. Yum fish and chips they are soooo good. That will be good for your Dad to get into a place that caters to the elderly. I will give you piece of mind too knowing that someone is there if he needs them.

Pam It is so nice to have all of those push ups behind me that is for sure. I hadn't done the stability ball abs for a long time and it showed .
Good job on High Step Challenge. Hover squats are a killer as well. I don't know what I hate more those or the one-arm tricep dips. That is too funny on what your DH did to you. Now you have to think of something to get back at him ;).

Julie Nice that you decided to take a day off but you came back strong with Drill Max. Yes being done with the push ups is the best part for sure. You aren't very tall are you :D. I am 5'4" so I am a bit taller but I see how it would make life interesting for you. We have one woman in our office that is 6'1". She says it is hard finding a guy who isn't intimidated with her height. At least DH is tall so he can get the stuff that is up high for you.

Well I was going to workout after work but I got busy cleaning out the fridge and a few other things and before I knew it it was 8:00. I am going to try to get up early since I won't get much of a chance to do it tomorrow night either. We are trying to get some things done before my SIL gets here on Friday.

Have a great Thursday everyone.

Cheryl

Cheryl Wow! time really pass by sooo fast! Next thing you'll know is that you finish STS, I know all couples have their problems but on my case when is my turn to deal with them, is real painful but then again the reconciliation is the funner;)

Janie sounds like you are going to have lots of fun with your dad, busy cooking, baking, talking, going to the beach house, so fun... Thanks for giving me your email.

Julie So glad that your home, I bet for your mom its going to be hard, I think that would happen to any one, that is a real hard time. I hope you are doing good... You did real good getting to workout at the hotel and good job for getting back to your routine Cardio Blast and 45 min bike ride. I hate unpacking and doing the laundry after a trip:confused: So for how long have you guys being married? Tuesday I did chest and 4DS Low impact cardio:eek: I actually did real good..

Pam You are right about being hard to stay mad at them for to long, (i have the story of the week) The black tail Kangaroos are enormous, huge, and I think that those kind of would not be scare of Sam they would wait and attack him, well I'm not sure but just in case I don't let him out of the leash. Yes when doing Cathe's workout any shoulder workout from STS she always say if needed sit on a chair and support your back that's how I started it and little by little I've being be able to upper the weight.. Monday (sunday was rest day) I did back and 30 min of step blast, yesterday was legs and NO cardio.... Brandy is coming back home tomorrow, and we try to do something, never checked the weather though... DH is real good thinking things over and being humble if necessary, so I'm pretty lucky to have him... There is things in my life that I haven't tell him because I want to forget them all, but I'm sure if he knew it he would feel more bad for how he thinks he was treating me, it wasn't real bad but he is real nice, nice guy.:D Thanks next time if I need I would send a PM. Good job doing circuit max, and for skiing on your rest day that is a good arms workout;) So the dinner is something that you guys do every month? are you having a team dinner? I hope the atmosphere is a lot better for your turn to have the dinner.

Well sorry girls I didn't get to post the past few days, I was going to post something real quick yesterday before we left to the city but I didn't have time... I got up early to do legs, then I prepare some food, try to leave the house kind of clean. DH and I planned to go to the city with Rachel & Stacy and stay over the night, when we left was raining but we never thought about checking the weather, well it was pouring, thunderstorm, lighting, we parked the car and thought about walking to places, and we did and we got sooo wet, soaked, we booked a room close to places, stores, movies so it would it be kind of easy to go and do things, that was pointless on doing that, the rain never stopped and so hard to get taxis... We walked to the Imax theater when we got there we were dripping so we run to the bathroom to dry the jackets, shoes, I bought sacks on my way to the movies, (umbrellas $36 dollars each, NO thanks I'll get wet) so we just changed the sacks, it was awful ugly for the little ones, oh well we watched the movie got back to the hotel, eat something and go to sleep... of course this morning it was still raining so we just ate and left back home... A friend of mine did watch over Sam, well he was afraid of the thunderstorm and along, poor boy:( he just got into my magnets and DH shaver... The weather was so ugly to live him outside and he knew my friend, but yesterday he was afraid of her too, he would pee every time she'd pet him, didn't want to eat, OMG it was something so now we got home put my PJ's and sit and take the rest of the day as rest day, of course I'm coming back with sore throat and headache  SO is OFFICIAL DH is BANNED to do any plans, I was joking with him yesterday that if he ever wanted to take me some where I would say "NO THANKS" Tomorrow I'll catch up with my WO I have biceps/triceps abs and 30 min cardio, Sat I'll have shoulders and 30 min cardio, I'll have to workout Sunday too legs...
I hope you guys are having a great day;):D

I did miss a few post I just went back to read them all, I don't know what happen that I skipped them.
Congratulations Janie you got your house yayay!!!!! My mom still living by her self she is almost 80? I don't really know but she is pretty active and goes to places..

Pam, thanks for missing me, you are so sweet! looks like the weather is changing for you and your ski season is over :( You always have something fun to do..

Julie good for you for getting you run in. But I think if you get a day off is going to be nice too.

Cheryl, time goes by fast,I cannot believe DH is going back to work next monday, already a month off..

Joey, Dad tried, and I did TBS, abs and stretches. Dad & I went second handing and went to 3 stores. He made out like a bandit with his purchases.

Julie, Great job on Drill Max. It's good to workout until failure. To me that is the best way to workout. Good for you. I agree that people should be independent for as long as possible.

Pam, Great job on HSC. Woo, that one is hard! LOL:eek: Tell your hubby, that pay backs are coming. Hey, he started it. Could be a lot of fun.;) Before my sister manipulated my Dad, he had friends and neighbors, doing activities. It will be good for him to do that again. I can't wait for him to get into one ASAP. well, we had fried oysters tonight and for tomorrow too, but the next day I'm planning for squash soup. We'll see. Things change so often around here lately. LOL:)

Cheryl, Enjoy your workout tomorrow, and especially your SIL starting Friday. Just enjoy yourselves.

Eunice, Wow, what a time you had with the weather and all the stuff you had to go through to watch a movie! I hope tomorrow it will be better for all of you. Hang in there.

Take care,

Janie

Julie Great job on Drill Max, that one really does sneak up on you. I am wiped at the end of it too. I always think I'm done on that last set and forget about the squat thrusts and jumps over the step that she throws in just to really kill you! I have that one on the schedule for tomorrow and haven't done it in a long time either so I'm kind've looking forward to it.

It is VERY sneaky of Cathe to put those hover squats at the very end....I think she probably gets a little kick out of torturing us like that :p DH is better at thinking up those practical jokes then I am, but he certainly is due! 5 feet in kitten heels! Wow, you are lucky your DH is tall. I am 5'7" and the shortest in our house!

Cheryl Ooooh, I think between the 1-arm dips and the hover squats I'd rather do the squats. I am always shaking like a leaf when I do the 1-arm dips. By about number 4 I'm wondering how I will ever get through them all!
I definitely need to come up with something to get back at DH and when he is least expecting it. He is really proud of himself on this one!
Oh wow, good for you cleaning your fridge. My pantry needs to be cleaned out again. Yuck. I hate that job but it needs to be done. Maybe I'll start this weekend.

Eunice] Good to hear from you!

Pam Oh I don't blame you for keeping Sam away from those black tail kangaroos, I think I would be scared. Are you ever afraid that they might come after you?! Great job on back and 30 minutes of step blast. You are doing good at figuring out your 30 minutes of cardio. Awww, sounds like your DH is being really sweet. I'm glad to hear that. Sometimes those guys get all stressed out and end up taking it out on the people who are close to them, so nice that he realized it and is sorry. he sounds like a keeper for sure!
Oh yes, skiing is a great arm workout. DH and I were talking about how sore our biceps were the next day. So sore I couldn't even straighten my arms all the way out!
We try to do the dinner once a month with 3 other couples that are (or at least WERE) all good friends in the neighborhood. We really have to make an effort to schedule it because everybody is always so busy so it gets us together at least every so often. I am going to find out this weekend what is happening with those 2 couples and then hopefully get to schedule the next dinner with everyone. DH plays golf with one of the husbands every week so he will find out what the current situation is!
Great job on your leg wo yesterday. Of course you couldn't post because you had to get your food ready....:D
Oh, too bad the weather was so bad for your trip to the city $36 for one umbrella?? Are you kidding? That is crazy!!! Aww, poor Sam being afraid of the thunderstorm! My cats could care less about thunderstorms. It kind've surprises me because Butters is really jumpy normally. Sometimes I'll get up fast and it scares him and he runs out of the room, but he'll sleep right through a thunderstorm.
Oh no, sorry to hear about your sore throat and headache. I had a sore throat this morning too and am hoping it doesn't turn into anything. My DH would be happy to be banned from making any plans. Of course, he never really makes any of the plans anyway....he says he is the idea guy

Janie Great job on TBS, abs and stretches. I think that it is so cool that your dad even tries to do TBS with you. Good for him! It sounds like you are having such a nice time with your dad. I'm so happy for you getting to spend this time together. What a special time.
DH definitely is in for some paybacks, I just have to figure out what! I'm really happy for your dad, I think it's important to have your own life so good for him for taking control back! OOOOoooooo fried oysters sound heavenly! YUM!

This morning for me was leaner legs and No equipment abs. It was actually supposed to be leaner legs and stability ball abs but for some reason I had NE in my head so I was surprised when I went to mark it off on the Workout manager and saw I did the wrong one! I think I was just afraid of those stability ball abs :D I'll have to sub them in on another day. I hope everyone is having or had a great day!

Pam

This morning was Low Max! During which, I was thinking it should be renamed Leg Max. I’m always amazed at how much my legs burn during that one over the other Imaxes. Don’t get me wrong the other Imaxes sure get your legs but for some reason this one really, really gets your legs.

Cheryl I bet cleaning out the fridge was a little bit of a workout. I love how clean my fridge is once it is cleaned out but hate doing it. I really do need to clean my fridge and pantry out. But I think I will wait until winter time. :) I think anywhere from 5’5” to 5’8” is a good height for women. I had a friend in high school who was 6’2”. People always got a kick out of seeing us walk around together. I found out after college, she married a guy who was 5’2”. He apparently found her height intriguing.

Eunice Great job on keeping up with your workout-back & 30 min step blast, chest & 4ds LIS, and legs! Wow you are doing good. Sorry your vacation was so rainy. Sounds like it would have been fun if it hadn’t been for the rain. $36 for an umbrella is outrageous unless it was one of those huge golf umbrellas that can cover 3-4 people. Poor Sam. :( My Maggie is afraid of Thunderstorms. She doesn’t get into things or pee anywhere though. She just hides under the computer desk and her whole body trembles. DH and I have been married for 11 ½ years now. We were together for 3 years before getting married.

Janie Great job on TBS, abs, and stretches! That is good that your dad tried. Maybe if he keeps trying he will start to get hooked. ;) So did you get anything on the shopping trip? That is sad about your sister manipulating your dad like that. I do hope he starts making friends and getting involved in activities again soon. That really helps people stay young longer.

Pam Great job on LL and NE abs! Yep, you will need to schedule SB abs later to get those 1-legged pikes in there! Good luck coming up with something to get your DH back. I am not good at coming up with things. My DH has learned he has to be careful of what he does to me. Once he found a perfectly preserved giant bug (it was dead) and thought it would be funny to put it on the counter in front of the microwave. Well I went to use the microwave, saw the bug, and screamed so loud the neighbors heard me. He just stood there and didn’t know what to say or do. Finally he said “I’m sorry, it was supposed to be funny.” He hasn’t done anything to me since he almost gave me a heart attack that day.

Have a great day!

This was such a beautiful sunny day! My Dad & I did a little shopping in it. He stayed in the car the last half of the shopping. His knees are very bad. But, had a lot of fun.
I got him (my Dad) into "The X Factor". We can't wait to see what happens in Boot Camp next week.
I walked Rolly for about 30 min.
We turned on the electricity for the Beach House and got appt. made to get the things that need fixen. Yea! Hopefully in about 1-2 weeks we can start moving some things in.

Pam, Great job on Leaner Legs and no equip. abs. We are having a ball with my Daddy. Starting to get to know how wonderful he is.:D I'm going to cherish these moments for the rest of my life.

Julie, Great job on LM this morning. I agree, there is a lot of leg DOM's after. Yep, I did get some things shopping at the 2nd hand store. A beautiful knife for cutting bread. Only .50, a hat for the ocean that covers my ears. My ears get so cold for some reason, and some gloves. It was great. Today was just food shopping, banking, and got Rolly's toenails cut. He is a Drama King for sure.

Janie

Pam No, I'm not really scare of that, one day I was walking (like always distracted with the ipod) and my hat on looking down, I didn't feel Sam doing anything either so when I looked up there they were looking up at me, I did cross the street I'm not afraid of them I'm afraid of Sam swiping the ground with me:eek: Aww thanks Pam for those nice words for DH yes he is very nice guy.:D of course that's why you have those nice biceps because of all that skiing.... Good for you for doing the dinner with the neighbors I Hope the other couple get things figured out so you guys don't break the group, that would be sucky! Like Julie said it must be hard to choose which couple to invite over. Hahaha!!! You know me I have to pack my food, something real funny when we were at the store we walked through the woman section, dresses and stuff I told to DH this is where I needed to go, and he say "I can't keep up with you mom, you are getting big, I mean is a good big, all muscle but I can buy a dress every time you get big, I don't know if I can handle that buddy" I thought it was real funny. Tell me about it that's why I packed food too, you don't get a meal for less than $18-$25 dollars I'm not paying that much money. So funny about your cat huh? weird that he doesn't care the thunderstorm, I think is because Sam was along he doesn't like to be by him self he is a big baby:p I hope you don't get sick, I really don't like to get sick I got something inside my eye lead and it hurts, my throat is not that bad. And the bad weather continues its being raining on and off and it looks like tomorrow is going to be another day. Good job doing leaner legs and NE abs I love that one better, but I think your right after doing legs I don't know if you would be able to do the pikes! OMG I was reading what your DH did to you I think that is soooo sexy!!!! Now you have to play something back at him, any plans yet?

JulieGood job doing Low Max your right I think the title "LOW" is more about lower body, I think because that one really, really target legs!! I didn't picture you 5 feet tall, so lets see.... 5 foot tall, a planner, 11 years married, ohhhh I still need to put face in this mysterious woman!! No the umbrellas were not that big just a regular one. Poor my boy Sam maybe when he gets older he would behave a little bit better, one day when he was still small, we had a mice in the house I was running and screaming I gave the broom to DH to kill the mice and I went to stand on a chair, well Sam run with me and hide under the table, I was laughing so hilarious that he was scare of something too!!

Janie so fun that your dad is trying to workout, so fun!! and going shopping with him, so nice and fun times with your dad!! We are having a good day is just the weather that is not working out for us!!! We are watching the same show "The X factor" but Australia one.

Well today I did biceps/triceps core and 30 min of cardio I did from 4DS HIS that was a little more hard but I'll get there all I needed was to keep my HR to 130-154 and I did so everything is working fine.. Today Brandy got home and nothing else just the girls playing out side or girls coming over to play with them.... Hope everyone is having a good time.

Julie Great job on low mas. You know I think I have only done that once so I really don't remember it at all. I guess I will have to put that let burner on my do again soon list! Although my legs are NOT agreeing with me on that at the moment.

Oh man, I can't do the 1-legged pikes. I must admit that I have never even tried to do them, I'm too afraid of falling on my face!:eek: OMG, I think I would've killed DH if he had done the bug thing to me. I think the screaming would only encourage my DH though. He thinks it's funny when he scares me out of my wits.

Janie So nice to hear you are having such a lovely visit with your dad. It sounds like you two are really making the most of it! So glad you are building those lasting memories! What is the X Factor? I don't know about this......Oh wow, you are going to be in that beach house before you know it!!!

Eunice I was hoping to get the latest on what is happening with the neighbors from DH after golf this weekend, but the neighbor that he plays golf with is going to be out of town this weekend so I will ahve to get the scoop another way. I hate to ask!! So your DH doesn't want to keep buying you a new wardrobe huh? Funny! It doesn't look like I am getting sick :D The sore throat is all gone today and no other symptoms! Hooray! I credit working out with being able to fend off some of these little bugs. Maybe you have a sty or something in your eye? We have been having beautiful weather but are supposed to be getting a big cold front tonight and the high tomorrow is only supposed to be in the mid 60s Brrrrrrrrr. I want the warm weather back. it's too early for this cold stuff  I have no ideas for getting back at DH yet, so if you have some please share them! That is SOooo funny that Sam was afraid of a mouse. That little baby!
Great job on your biceps/triceps.core and HIS. I see you are taking my suggestions on the cardio :D Did Brandy have fun at camp?

This morning for me was Drill Max! My legs were (and ARE) talking to me after LL yesterday, now they are starting to yell at me! Tomorrow is supposed to be Kick Max and it is really leg intensive too. I don't it, but I remember last time I was able to do most of it because a lot of it is in the terminator or hardcore discs so I'll probably do the same compilation I did last time. Now my stomach is growling so I need to go get some lunch. Happy Friday!!! TGIF!!!

Pam

This morning I did Low Impact Circuit! Man those band/barbell curls are killer. I couldn’t do many at all today.

Janie Great job on walking Rolly! Sounds like you and your dad are keeping busy and having fun. What is the X Factor? My dogs hate getting their nails cut too. They don’t make any noises, they just pull their paws away as if that will make me stop.

Eunice Great job on biceps/triceps and core plus 30 min. of cardio! I find 4DS HIS the hardest choreography. It probably helped being hard like that to keep your HR where you wanted it. That is a really cute story about Sam hiding because of the mouse. Oscar found a mouse in my sister’s house one time and was trying to catch it. I don’t think he would have killed it. He likes to play with things. Once I found him playing with a baby bird in the grass that couldn’t fly. I made him stop because the poor bird was probably scared of him. I will really try to get pictures up this weekend. I’ll put it on my to-do list!

Pam Great job on DM! Wow that is quite a heavy leg rotation you got going on. LL followed by DM followed by KM which is heavy on the legs too. Maybe you should through Low Max in there just to completely burn out any last muscle fiber you have left in your legs! I have never tried the 1-legged pikes either. I figure I should probably master the 2-legged first. Although now that I think about it, maybe trying the 1-legged on the floor with the new gliders when we get them would be a way to ease into it. My heart was pounding too hard for me to kill DH over the bug. Plus knowing he felt really bad after I screamed that loud was almost payback enough.

Have a great day!

Joey, Dad (did the cardio part) and I did TBS along with ab and stretches. Getting the kegs to the Beach House tomorrow. Will make lists on what we need and throw away what we don't want. Maybe a little cleaning, but not too much yet. The guys are still working on the major repairs. Oh, and my GERD is acting up. Hmmmmm

Eunice, I like the X Factor so far. So similar to American Idol. I'm guessing it will be more different later on. Great job on biceps/triceps, core for 30 min.

Pam, I've been watching the XFactor and so far it is a lot like American Idol. I'm thinking there will be some more changes later on. Great job on Drill Max. Wow your rotation seem HARD to do.

Julie, Great job on LIC. You did good, as many as you can is OK. XFactor is a show similar to American Idol. So far not to many differences, but expect it will be later on.

This morning I did spinning for about 78 minutes. I rode along to a bike-o-vision video of St. Croix. It was beautiful!

Janie Great job on TBS and getting your dad to do the cardio! That is really good for him to move as much as possible. Hope your GERD isn't acting up because of stress. Do you think it is from eating things you are not used too? I hope it gets better soon.

Eunice Enjoy a picture of me after spinning this morning. I won't tell you how many pictures I took before settling for this one. Now I can mark this off my to-do-list.

Have a great weekend!

Eunice Too funny that you tell DH that he isn't planning anymore outings :D. It isn't fun when it is pouring rain and you want to do things outside. I hope Sam is doing better since the thunderstorm. I know some animals can get really scared.

Janie Good for your Dad to try to do TBS. It is fun to go to second hand stores. Sounds like your Dad had fun finding some things.

Pam I think I would rather do the hover squats as well. You will definitely need to do something to get back at DH. You just need to do it when he is not expecting it. So did your get your pantry cleaned....;).

Julie It is nice having a clean fridget again and I hate doing it too. I agree that 5'5" to 5'8" is a good height for women. I am just short of that :D. That would have been something to see you with your 6'2" friend. Nice that she could find a guy who is a lot shorter that your friend that wasn't intimidated by her height. T%hat was a good picture of you.....and that was after spinning!!!!! Wow you looked good.

It has been a very busy couple of days for me with working, cleaning and doing laundry. We picked my SIL up last night and right now she is with her son and DIL. We will be going out for dinner soon with them. I did get my last two weight workouts in with STS meso 1. I am now finished it and have next week off. I have no idea how many workouts I will be able to get in next week but we will see. I will post when I can.

Julie great job on LIC on Friday. I can never do many of those band/barbell curls either. They just kill me! Oh my goodness, no way would I even be able to walk if I tacked low max on after all of this leg work! I guess it is good that your DH felt bad about scaring you so badly, guess he won't be doing that again anytime soon!
Great job on your spinning in St Croix in Saturday too. Girl, you are gorgeous, what a beautiful picture and I can't believe that is AFTER spinning!!!

Janie Great job on TBs abs and stretching. I just think it is so fun that your dad is doing any of it with you, what s cool dad! Yippee, keys to the beach house, I think that calls for a celebration! Sorry to hear that your GERD is acting up though :( that is no fun at all.

Cheryl oh no the pantry did NOT get cleaned, in fact I didn't even give it another thought! Congratulations on finishing meso 1. I think the rest of STS is so much more fun since you don't have all of those lush ups to worry about! I hope you have a great time with your SIL!

I didn't get s chance to post yesterday because it was a busy day. I was supposed to do kick max but since I don't have it I did the first part of kick, punch, crunch, then the blasts and leg conditioning drills and cool down from kick max off the hard core extreme disk. Man, those leg drills were hard, I couldn't get through some of them! Then we went o pick up the oldest from college to come home for the weekend, and sent the rest of the day cooking because our friends were coming for dinner. Today was my rest day but I cut, trimmed, glowed and raked the lawn and then did some work work. Tonight we went to the SPCA Fur ball which is a fundraiser for the SPCA. Miss North Carolina was there with the cutesy little puppies, I can't imagine they weren't adopted after tonight. I hope everyone had a great weekend!
