Strength in Numbers

Daddy did the cardio/warm up and Joey and I did TBS, stretches, abs and stretches. Took Dad out 2nd handing again. It was fun.

Cheryl, Enjoy your long awaited workout tonight.:)

Eunice, Great job on Back/delts and 30 min. of cardio. Congrats on completing the steps without confusion. You worked hard!

Pam, Great job on yesterday's SB. I really like that one, hope one day I'll be able to get to it again. And today's Cardio & Weights.

Julie, I wonder why on occasion our posts gets lost? I know how frustrating that is.:( Poor Oscar! I'm praying for you and him. Please keep us posted.

Janie Great job on TBS, stretches, abs and stretches! So fun that your dad is doing some of it with you. Did you get any more bargains when you went second handing?

This morning was Rhythmic step for me. Another goodie! My DH leaves today for Germany for the week :( So I'll be on my own until the kids get here on Wednesday. I hope everyone has a great weekend. Julie - thinking about you and Oscar and hoping for the best.

Pam

Rest day today. Took full advantage of it.

Pam, Didn't get any bargains this time 2nd handing. It happens sometimes. Great job on RS. Oh no, hubby will be gone. Sometimes alone time is what the doc ordered. Enjoy it until Wednesday, then enjoy the family that is there.

Julie
, Hope everything is OK.:(

Janie

Eunice I don't know why I didn't see your post when I posted yesterday hmmmm.... I hate waking u at night too. I always Layton there for awhile thinking maybe I'll just fall back asleep. And won't need to get up, but the need to go to the bathroom always wins! I know what you mean about not wanting Sam to swim in the dirty water, but it sure is fun watching dogs having fun chasing sticks. Poor guy trying to find those stances that sink! At least he doesn't try to dive down after them! You are right about my ret day, Today I am planting a bunch of azaleas and rhododendrons that I bought yesterday. I got 17 total and have planted 11 so far, only 6 to go. It is really hard work thought because our 'soil' is hard red clay and full of rocks and roots. So I have to use a pick ax to loosen everything up before I can dig. When I put the shovel in the ground and hop on it it usually doesn't go anywhere, so I'm out there hopping on the shovel like a kangaroo trying to make a hole! I just had my lunch Nd some water, so I'm ready to head back out and finish!
I'm so glad to hear that you are enjoying LIC now. It's much more fun when you aren't frustrated by the steps. I was thinking you mint be able to do the cardio only from cardio and weights too, but it might not be long enough. Great job on back, delta and cardio!

Janie you're right, you don't always have to buy something when you are out shopping, it's fun to just look too!

As I said, it's my 'rest' day, but I aml getting a big workout planting these 17 plants. They aren't the little bitty ones either, the azaleas are 3 gallons and the rhododendrons are 5. Guess I better get out there and finish! Hope everyone is having a great day!

Pam

I guess everyone had a busy weekend huh? I was so tired last night after all of my planting that I wanted to go to bed at 7:00! I managed to stay up until 9:30 though getting caught up on Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice. This morning was plyo legs disc 29.I was so glad because I ihad been missing those 1/2 turns ;)! I hope everyone has a great day!

Pam

Pam I was getting sad that you didn't replay to my post:( I thought that you didn't like me any more!! I'm glad to hear from you..... So you are going to be all by your self for the week;) I hope you won't get to bore or sad, you can have frozen ice cream for diner. Good job on RS

Janie So fun to have a full rest day, so nice. I love it "being along is what the doc ordered" so true.

Julie thinking of you every day:( How is Oscar? I hope everything its fine.

Pam so your rest day was planting flowers OMG!! hahaha!! I'm not good doing that. 17 of them for sure digging the holes is a good workout.. When we were in 29 Palms I did plant 3 rosas and the soil wasn't red like your but it did have a lot of rock, so ye I know what you mean working in a hard rocky soil, but men 17 holes is a lot.. Its going to be beautiful though! Thanks for the suggestion yesterday I did bis/tris core and 30 min cardio I went outside to run with Sam, there was like 20 kangaroos getting chased by Sam, and I was screaming my head off calling Sam, I know he won't just turn around and get back to me but at least he knows that I'm there and he needs to get back to me, after that he was just running and trying to go far away, I'd call him and he just look back at me and returns, very smart dog. OMG!!! Pam I was so busy yesterday sooooo busy. I got up at 6:30 to fix the girls lunch, eat breakfast, took Brandy to the station, get Stacy & Rachel ready for school, I went to see a friend of mine the one who cooks lots of food and invite me all of the time, her sister come over to visit her from the US so I went to met her, after that I got home did my workout, go groceries, took the girls to swimming classes, picked Brandy from the station, get back home finish dinner, time fly so fast that before I knew it it was time to put the girls on bed, that is a lot of work because they don't want to go bed early so they are looking for excuses to stay up late... OMG I was exhausted, I couldn't stay up any more I just went and watch the Xfactor and after that I went to bed. Not even time to post here... Today its going to be a little bit better since I don't have to go any where. I have to do legs and after that I have to prepare some of the food that I've being eating, so good to have food that it is already cook just ready to grab.. So I'm going to make protein bars, egg muffins, turkey chili, and in between that laundry, laundry, and more laundry... So horrible....
In other hand I'm so excited last night I was checking my self out and I finally can see my muscles on my arms, the triceps/shoulder I was so excited that I had to come over to showed to DH, he was "WOW, see I can see it now" yayay!!!! Well I could be here telling you some other things that happen yesterday but I better get moving.
I'm very impressive that after a hard work in your garden you got up to do plyo legs!!! Good for you.

Thanks goodness that I only have legs today!! Have a great day everyone.

Well I tried to post on Saturday but when I hit submit the system signed me out and it didn't post . I didn't have a chance to do it again because we were going to the airport to pick my SIL up. She had been visiting her daughter. Well this was our Thanksgiving weekend so we went out to my parents yesterday for turkey dinner. It was so good. As for working out Saturday I did MMA Fusion, Sunday was yoga and today I did MMA Kickbox. It was suppose to be 30/30 but after getting home last last night I didn't have the energy for that one. I can't remember everything that I had tried to post before but everyone is doing well with your workouts. Pam it looks like your got your workout doing your planting. Julie you haven't posted in a while so I hope everything is OK with Oscar.

Have a great Tuesday everyone. I will try to post again tomorrow.

Cheryl

Hi CherylIt's being a while since you post, I understand being mad when you loose a post :mad:So is your SIL still at your home? Wow! you guys had thanksgiving early, so nice that spent with your family. Good job doing MMA:fusion, Yoga, MM:kickboxing. Don't worry maybe tomorrow you'll be good to WO:p How is your weather getting? I was thinking Cheryl must had a very nice weather because she is hardly here:p Have a great day too.

I finish my leg WO and I have done 3 dishes and 3 laundrys and I have more to go, wooohooo!! how fun:eek: NOT just kidding my self!!!

Eunice So sorry, I didn't mean to make you sad! Of course I still like you!!!! :D:):p Yep, all by myself this week but no ice cream for dinner, maybe some frozen yogurt one day though......;) I don't usually get bored or sad, I like having some alone time. I get caught up on my Grey's Anatomu and Private Practice and watch girlie movies on NetFlix!

Oh yea, my 'rest' day about killed me. I was as sweaty after that as I am after doing Intensity, but it lasted for about 3 hours. I was moving very slowly that night! Oh my gosh, sorry, but it made me laugh thinking about Sam running around with 20 kangaroos and you screaming at him :p I'm sure it was quite the site to see!

WOW, you sure did have one busy day, holy cow! Glad to hear you got to have a bit of a calmer day yesterday. You make egg muffins in advance? Are these like egg mcmuffin type muffins or something else? How do you warm them up? Ummmmm, chili sounds so good. I was just looking at chili recipes because it is cold and rainy here today. The last time it was cool outside my step daughter came home and said that during her cross country practice it was cool so she got excited because that means we get to have chicken and dumplings soon! It's her favorite meal and of course we can only have it when it's cold outside. I do usually make an exception and make it for her birthday in May though  OMG, there is never a shortage of laundry to be done, is there? Oh GREAT JOB on your muscles!! you are going to have those veiny things in your arms before you know it :p So nice that your DH appreciates it too!
Great job on your leg workout, dishes and laundry too!
Cheryl Nice to hear from you, it's so frustrating when your posts get lost. Happy Thanksgiving, sorry it's a little late! All of my Canadian relatives were talking about their turkey dinners on FB and it was making me hungry. I love turkey dinner! I hope you have enjoyed your visit with your SIL. Is she still there or did she go home? Great job on MMA Fusion, yoga and MMA Kickbox! I know what you mean, you really need to be feeling it for those Hiit workouts!

Julie I'm getting really worried about you and Oscar. I hope things are ok......please let us know when you can.

Oh boy, my legs were screaming at me this morning. That plyo legs after the planting extravaganza did me in. I am not quite failing the toilet test, but I think I'm getting about a D. I'm pretty sure what my legs were saying to me this morning was 'Imax 2, are you kidding me?' Yes, I did Imax 2 , poor aching legs and all. It actually wasn't too bad once I got moving, like Julie says sometimes it helps them to feel better. The only time that they REALLY complained was all those plie jacks in round 9. OUCHIE. Then I did the abs from Muscle Endurance, just because I like pain I guess ;) Anyway, I hope everyone is having a great day!

Pam

Sorry I have MIA for so long. I didn’t mean to worry everyone it has just been difficult to post. It has not been a good weekend. Last I had written, we had left Oscar at the vet hospital Thursday night. Friday night we ended up staying the night at a hotel near the vet hospital because things were not looking good for Oscar. Saturday morning when we visited him, he was a little better but when we were on our way to visit Sunday morning, the vet called and said his heart was giving out and she was concerned he would have a heart attack at any time. When we got to the hospital, we saw how much pain Oscar was in. We made the decision to have him put to sleep. It was the hardest day of our lives. I never knew it would hurt this much. My heart aches for him. DH and I spent Monday with Maggie but now we are trying to get back to some sense of a normal life. I started a new strength rotation today with Slow & Heavy legs, shoulders, biceps, and abs. I missed Oscar during my stretching. He would always come into the room then and nudge me to let me know it was feeding time. Just when I think I am all cried out, the tears begin again. I’m sorry for going on for so long about this.

Pam Great job on subbing Step Blast for a SS run! SB is so much more fun than running anyway. Great job on C&W. Hope you weren’t singing Buttercup all day afterwards! Great job on RS! That one is so much fun every time. I don’t think it can get old. We have hard red clay dirt here too. Although we take the easy way out an use a tiller to loosen up the dirt. Great job on plyo legs and those ½ turn jumps. Did you count them down? Great job on Imax 2 with sore legs and ME abs! Yep I really think moving them helps get the DOMS out at least for a little while.

Eunice Great job on back/delts and 30 min of cardio w/ LIS. That one does have tricky choreography but it looks like you are getting there. Wow you had a busy day the other day. So much for a break I guess. Good job on getting your legs workout in.

Janie Great job on TBS, abs, and stretches! Glad you are so much fun with your dad. That is good to see your dad doing some of the workout with you too. Every little bit helps.

Cheryl Great job on getting some workouts in with all the visits from your SIL and the Thanksgiving holiday. The MMA workouts are good ones for active recovery and good job on getting your yoga in too. Yes you definitely need a good amount of energy to do any of the HiiTs so I don’t blame you for subbing that one out.

Have a good day.

Dad did the cardio and Joe and I did TBS, abs and stretches. Dad seems to be doing a really good job.

Pam, I know what it takes to plant bushes like yours. A LOT OF Work! Good for you. It's going to be so pretty around your home. We watch Grey's Anatomy, we get the DVD's and others from Netflix. Great job on plyo legs.

Eunice, Have a great workout today

Cheryl, So sorry you had to re-post. That is such a bummer. Sounds like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Nothing like spending time with family. Great job on MMA Fusion and Sunday's yoga and today's MMA Kickbox.

Eunice, Great job on leg workout and house work.

Pam, Great job on the plyo legs especially after the planting. Can't believe you did Imax2 after the workout you did the day before. Good for you! Great job too on the abs work.

Julie, I'm so sorry for your loss. I (as you know) had to put down our little Molly a couple of years ago, and this year just a couple of months or so ago, our little Winkle. I know what you are going through. I'm so so sorry. It's very painful. (((((hugs))))). And more hugs. Great job on Slow & Heavy legs, shoulders, biceps, and abs. It sounds like normalcy to me. Good for you. If you still need to vent, then do it. We're here for you as you are here for us too.

Take care ladies,

Janie

Eunice Our Thanksgiving is in October. I prefer that since it gives you a bit of time between Thankgiving and Christmas. Yes my SIL is still with us. She leaves on Friday, today we went downtown to do some shopping. Our weather here is terrible it has been raining and is cloudy. We have been busy since my SIL got here so I haven't been able to post as much as I would like. You had a busy day, laundry just never ends does it.

Pam I love turkey dinner too. You guys still have a bit of time to wait until you get yours. My SIL is still here she leaves on Friday. Oh my a D on the toilet test.....you really must be feeling that plyo workout. What Julie says is true that sometimes the best thing is to get moving to feel better.

Julie {{{{HUGS}}}} that is such a difficult decision to make but Oscar is now in a place now with no pain. Don't worry about talking about Oscar, that is what we are here for. I haven't been getting much sleep since my SIL came so the Hiit workouts just seemed a bit too much, but the MMA ones are working out.

Janie I am so impressed with your Dad working out with you. Reposting is a pain and when you can't do it right away again you forget what you posted.

Today I did STS Disk 13 Chest Shoulders and Triceps. I really prefer Meso 2 and 3 over Meso 1. After that I went with my SIL to do some shopping downtown. She found a bunch of stuff but I didn't find a thing.

Have a great Wednesday everyone.

Cheryl

Pam I knew that you didn't see my post but still :( Ok I feel like a little girl wining:p:D Good for you for having some alone time I love those times, your right getting caught up on your favorite shows is the best an more when you can do that on bed !!!!Ohhh I want some too! I hope you didn't took a shower before working in the garden, that's what I did the only and the first time I'd work in the garden and I was sooo sweaty after yuck!!.. I bet you were moving pretty slow and good thing no body saw you:p I know it is funny and I'm so glad that where we went was empty land but he still do it no matter what! Well nothing calmer I would sat, I'd baked my head off and did laundry, I did chocolate protein bars, baked oats with berrys, baked oats with pumpkin, pumpkin protein bars and eeg white muffins with turkey mince + the white chili for dinner with brown rice, the baked oats are ready for breakfast in the morning for my self and DH, if not he would not eat untill lunch:confused: I didn't move last night once my head touched the pillow I was gone.. Yeah the egg muffins are pretty easy and they are just like meatballs but because of the liquid I have to use the muffin pan, a friend of mine gave me a lot of eggs so I have to use them, I used 16 egg whites, chopped veggies, green beans, red bell pepper, mushrooms and 300gr of turkey I cooked that one first and let it cool. I got 14 muffins out of it, I have those for midday snack with greek yogurt and hot salsa. HHHHmm If you want a new chili recipe I have the white turkey chili on FB under my notes is really good, I think!
OMG! call me crazy but that's what I want the vein thingys is really hard though my veins are really thin so when I'm in the shower I see them but they look more like bruises than anything else:confused: DH is doing workouts now yesterday he went to the gym and when he got back he was telling me all about it, yeah I could see the big ear to ear smile:eek: I just want him to be careful.
:eek:I'm sure tomorrow you'll get more sore the second day after is always the hard one. Did you really do Imax 2? I bet you had fun! I know you like the pain:p

Julie I'm so so sorry about your lost, when I didn't heard from you I was thinking the worse, ((((Hugs))) to you, I know its going to be sad for a while, I haven't lost any dog recently I remember we did once when I was little I just don't remember the pain:( I cannot imagine our lives with out Sam now, I hope this pass soon, slow but sure, if you need to cry just do it. Sorry! And another note good for you for going back to your workout, that rotation sounds like a very tough one. I know you'll enjoy it very much. Not much break down this side of the world!

Janie I can picture your dad doing the workouts, that is so good for him! how fun! and good job for you and Joey too. Are you doing any especial rotation? How is the new house going? I saw that you post a link on my FB page I'll look at it latter.;)

Cheryl I guess is good that you have Thanksgiving in Oct, what about the black Friday? do you guys have something like that too? SO fun going shopping, even when you can't find anything, my shopping is online so yes not fun at all....So your weather is not getting better huh! our summer its going to be horrible wet like last year, wet, hot, humid, ugly. I can't wait to go back home. Good job doing Disk 13 Chest Shoulders and Triceps, I'm with you I prefer meso 2 & 3 over 1.. But you'll be done in no time, you'll see.

Today I did chest/core and 30 min cardio which was running chasing Sam after he was chasing the kangaroos, Not that bad but just to give you guys an idea of it:p:p School called we went to get Stacy she wasn't feeling good:( I don't know why but she is getting sick way to often.. Something else DH just started to incorporate weights, OMG when he was telling me all about you could only see my mouth wide open and about to get crazy!! :eek:WHAT????? but he insisted that he is doing no much weight bench press 60kilos I know for me to be able to bench press that weight would be awesome but for him he say that's nothing when he was used to do 300Lb, so he is all excited kind of just warming up those muscles.... crazy DH!! Well I hope today is a better day for all of us!

This morning I did Kick, Punch, Crunch! Did horrible on the pikes at the end. I was just running out of steam and have incredible DOMS in my shoulders, legs, and biceps from yesterday’s Slow & Heavy workout.

Janie Great job on TBS, abs, and stretching! That is great that your dad is still doing the cardio portion with you guys. Oscar is the first pet I have ever had and the first one I have ever lost. I knew it was going to be hard but I just don’t think I was prepared for how hard it would be.

Cheryl Great job on starting Meso 2 with disc 13! I am right there with you on liking M2 & M3 better than M1—except the legs. I do like M1 legs but the upper body workouts in M1 are killer. It does help knowing that Oscar is not in pain anymore. Thanks for the hugs.

Eunice Great job on chest & core with 30 min of moderate cardio! You are still doing good with keeping it moderate although maybe chasing Sam, chasing the kangaroos got your heart rate up a little more. I still picture Sam chasing the kangaroos in my head and laugh. Well hopefully your DH is going slow with the weights and following doctor’s orders. If so, he should be fine as long as he listens to his body. Although I am not one to talk since I don’t listen to my body no matter how much it screams at me. I think this is the hardest part about owning a dog. The letting go. After we let Oscar go, the vet told us that Oscar would not want us to be sad. I agree with her but it is still hard. Right now it is day to day with us.

Have a good day!

Julie {{{{{{{{{GREAT BIG HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}} Oh I was so sad to read your post and I cried right along with you. I am so sorry for your loss. It is definitely so hard to lose a pet, but all of the years of joy that they bring us makes that pain worth it in the end. I know you will be sad for awhile, you have to go through your grieving. We're all here for you!

On the workout front, I just love having buttercup at the end of SB too, it is such an uplifting song. It always makes me end the workout with a smile. I could've used that tiller on Sunday for my planting for sure! You KNOW I counted down those 1/2 turn jumps. They always start to get me around number 8 or so.

Janie Great job to you and Joey AND your dad. I am just so impressed that he is doing your workouts with you, even if he isn't able to do the whole thing. I have been recording Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice on the DVR, but we do also have Netflix. We dropped the DVD service since the big hike in their prices though and just watch what we can online.

Cheryl I think it was the combination of the plyo legs and the planting that really got me. The good news is that my legs are quite a bit better today, I'm up to about a B-. I put another hurting on them this morning with hihg reps though. Man, I didn't realize this rotation was going to be such a leg killer!
Great job on disk 13. I am with you on M2 and 3 being more enjoyable than M1. I think the main issue I have with M1 are all of those push ups. Big dread factor on those! Sorry you didn't have a successful shopping trip

Eunice You are too funny, don't feel like a little girl whining, it's all in fun! Oh I definitely didn't take a shower before working in the garden. I did the plants up close to the road first because I was hoping to get those done before the neighbors got out and about and saw what a mess I was. Both how I looked and how I was struggling to dig those holes! Luckily only one couple came walking by while I was out there. The shower afterwards sure did feel good though!!! I was tempted to drive over to my mother's house and sit in the hot tub, but I was just too tired :confused:
How can Sam possibly resist the tempation of chasing those kangaroos, it is just too much fun for a dog! Wow, lots of baking, good for you. Now you are all prepared to eat eat eat :p I will have to check out your turkey. I make a really good white chili, but I'm afraid it isn't terribly healthy  OMG, my DH goes without breakfast a lot and I just don't understand how he can do that! I would be eating my arm off by then and have a huge headache too. Sometimes he comes home form work and hasn't eaten anything all day because he 'forgot'. HELLO? How do you forget to eat?! Your egg muffins sound good except for the mushrooms and red peppers, I would have to skip those!
OMG, I have big fat veins and I hate them, want to trade?! I hope your DH takes it easy with his workouts. We all know how hard that can be......:confused:

Great job on chest/core and your chasing Sam cardio! Holy cow, that isn't good that Stacy wasn't feeling well again, I hope she is feeling better soon. How many pounds is 60 kilos? Sounds like a lot to me!

Julie Great job on KPC, even if you couldn't make all of the pikes. Pikes are hard even on days when you aren't already in pain!
I can't remember your other dog's name, but do you think he is feeling sad about Oscar being gone too? I think that they mourn too....:(

This morning for me was High Reps. It's only the second time I've ever done it and man, another leg burner! I wonder what Cathe was thinking when she put this routine together! And tomorrow is all of 4DS kickbox :rolleyes: I think my legs are going to go on strike. At the end of today's workout I had equipment just all over the place in my workout room. I'm usually so anal about trying to keep stuff put away as I go, but there was no way with this one! My alone time ends tonight as the kids will be here after cross country practice, which means I need to get thinking about dinner. I actually did some cooking for myself the last few nights. I had sea bass on Sunday (yum yum yum) and scallops with pomegranate sauce on Monday. Of course last night I stopped and picked up my favorite salad from the little pizza place up the street but I was pretty impressed with myself the other two nights ;):p
Have a good one ladies.

Pam

Eunice We don't have a Black Friday but we do have Boxing Day. It is on December 26th and that is when all the stores have the sales and people camp out all night to be the first in the door. No our weather isn't that great but we are now in fall and it is to be expected I guess. Hopefully your summer will get better. I know it took a while for us to get one this year. Good job on chest/core and your 30 minutes of cardio chasing Sam. That would be quite the picture seeing Sam chasing the kangaroos and you chasing after him :D. Hope that your DH is being careful with the weights since he just had surgery. I hope that Stacy feels better soon too.

Julie Those pikes at the end of KPC are hard and when you have DOMS in your shoulders and biceps it makes it that much harder. I struggle with the legs in M1. On the excercises where you use the plate and slide back or to the side and put the weight down and then pick it up again, I can't do it. I can't get my body down far enough to put the weights down and pick them up again :( so I keep them in my hands but my back still feels like it could go out at any time. It will take time for you to get back to normal after losing Oscar, that is normal. Any time you want to talk about it we are here.

Pam A B- is good but the D would be very hard :D. High Reps sneak up on you. There is a lot of leg work but because it is done through out the workout you don't realize how much there is. There is no way you can keep the area clean when you are doing High Reps. I have quite the mess after I am finished. I am so glad the push ups are done in M1 though.

This morning I did CCC cardio only premix. Man that one doesn't get any easier. Today SIL is spending time with her son so we had the day to ourselves. I got to catch up on a few things.

Have a great Thursday everyone.

Cheryl

Dad, Joey and I did TBS, abs and stretching.

Cheryl, Not only is reposting a pain, I don't like doing something over again. Great job on STS Disk 13 chest, shoulders & triceps. I like the latter two too. Glad you had a good time shopping with your SIL.

Eunice, No special rotation, just TBS (Joe's favorite) and I'm suppose to do cardio the next day. Haven't been doing that. hmmmmmmm:eek: The Beach House is getting a make over from a couple of contractors. Looks like they are doing a great job so far.

Julie, It's OK, time is your friend. Grieve; cry, get mad, be sad, have memories...Your Oscar deserves it and so do you. RIP Oscar.:( It's part of healing. I'm crying right along with you. Great job on KP&C.

Pam, Great job on HR, I bet your legs look soooooo good. Hope you enjoyed your alone time. You were so good on your eating with your alone time. Good for you! Enjoy your family when they get home. I love Buttercup too. Such a positive song. Good job.

Cheryl, Great job on CCC cardio only premix this morning.

Have a good one everyone,

Janie

JulieGood for you for doing KPC oh men don't worry about the pikes, just trying it is enough. Yaayy! for the DOMS, we know we love those little monsters... Aww I hope you are feeling a little bit better today just think that Oscar was a very loved dog and that you did everything for him!even clean his poop:p Your right Sam almost gives me a heart attack running away from me like that the good thing is that after his tired he run next to me.

Pam I'm sure that those flowers are going to look beautiful, and you are going to be so proud every time you see them..
I was just too tired :confused: Why do you say that your recipe is not healthy? I don't think there is such a thing cooking with turkey:p Wow!! very good for you for cooking dinner for your self and it does sound like a really good dinner! Are those DH's crazy or what? DH say that when he was in Iraqi once he didn't sleep or eat or take a shower for 4 days, they are train to do that, he say that after the pain settles they can wait for a long time, he was I would say "High" I cannot believe that you don't like mushrooms, or red bell pepper:p that's the best part, of course you can add anything you have on hand... Let's trade our veins mine are ugly. DH works out every other day. 60 kilos I think is the double, 120Lb or something like that.Oh men HR is a good one crazy, killer, tough workout  I'm with you I don't know what Cathe's was thinking:eek: Are you doing all 4 cardio from 4DS? So funny when I was working out I was thinking about you because mu dumbbells are all over the place I do workout in the garage though, so I think is not to bad, just because I have to look over to make sure I don't trip on my self mess:confused: I know I have to clean!!! Have fun tonight cooking diner for the kids.

CherylReally? over here in AU have the same thing Boxing Day, I don't remember when do they have it I just know that.I Wow! Fall I hope you enjoy your weather too. Me too I hope the summer feels better this year, today I had the window open and I did some cleaning I was feeling pretty hot. DH say that he is doing everything very carefully. Good job doing CCC a good one for sure.

Janie Good job doing TBS with your dad and Joey,At least they are doing something good for their bodys. Your house its going to be so pretty when everything gets done.

Today I did shoulders and Athletic Step I did the whole thing, I was having to much fun and before I knew it it was over, I have my HR watch that beeps every time my HR goes to high so I just take a second to let it come down and then hit it again... I did some cleaning washing toilets and mopping the floors and all that fun stuff. Well ladies hope you all had a great day.

Cheryl Yes, I was glad to have that D day over with. I'm still not getting an A today either though! Oh yes, High Reps really does sneak up on you. I couldn't believe it when she got to the THIRD leg section. I had assumed we were all done with legs at that point.
Great job on CCC cardio only premix. I think that is harder than the whole workout because the abs give you a little bit of a rest. It's really like a Hiit workout. It's great to have company but I bet it was nice to get that break and get some things done. I'm always glad when company comes and I'm always glad when they leave :D It's nice to get your routine back.

Janie Great job on your TBS, abs and stretching! I have no idea what my legs look like, but I do know that they are not very happy with me this week  What a crazy rotation. I know, i can't believe I was so good with my eating. A typical dinner for me when I've been alone before has been a bag of microwave popcorn and a glass of wine  Not good for you, but pretty darn good!

Eunice I hope the flowers look beautiful after all of that work. I just have to make sure I am good about watering them for awhile so they don't die. My white chili is made with chicken, but what makes it not so healthy is that it has a lot of cream in it. And of course when you eat it you have to put cheese and sour cream on top. OMG, I think I would faint if I went 4 days without eating or sleeping!! No way could I do that! It reminds me of a show I was watching last night. An old Frazier show and they were competing on one of those Biggest Loser type shows. One of the guys kept passing out from not eating. It was really funny. Plus they were all really grouchy and kept yelling at each other, that would be me! OK, you can have my vein any time. The only good thing is that they never have any trouble when I need to give blood.... :p Not all 4 cardios from 4DS, just the fully kickbox workout so my legs got another big workout today.

Great job on shoulders and AS. I think it would be pretty hard to stop at only 30 minutes with that one. Good for you for keeping your heartrate down, that would be hard to do too!
Oh boy, cleaning toilets, what fun ;)

So as I said, this morning was 4 DS kickbox which is the leg workout. WTH?! My poor legs! I still have Cardio fusion tomorrow and STS total body on Saturday too. I will be ready for that rest day on Sunday! I hope everyone has a great day!

Pam

This morning I did Slow & Heavy Chest, Back, and Triceps! Wow that was a tough workout and I am hoping to be feeling some good DOMS later!

Pam Great job on High Reps! That one is a leg burner and a mess maker for sure. I usually have to set up all my equipment in the right place before I even push play. And there is no putting things away during the w/o since there is no downtime. Your dinners sound so good and I am impressed you cooked for yourself. I usually take the easy way out and eat salad, although sometimes I cook fish and a sweet potato up. Maggie is our other dog. I do think she misses Oscar. She hardly ever lays on the floor in the living room but Monday night, she lay down behind the couch under the window in Oscar’s spot. She also just looks sad.

Cheryl Great job on CCC cardio only premix! That is a super tough workout and almost like a HiiT in my opinion. When you do all of CCC, at least you get a semi-break during the core portion of the rounds but when you do just the cardio pieces there is not break at all. Not putting the weights down during the slider exercises might actually be working your legs harder even though you are not going as deep since you are keeping the weight load on the entire time instead of half the time. I have to watch my back a little too. Sometimes I feel a slight tweak/twinge in back and know I need to back off. So far I have been pretty lucky. We are still taking it day by day with missing Oscar. It is weird but last night when we were watching TV, I swear it felt like he was laying behind the couch in his spot.

Janie Great job on TBS, abs, and stretching! So is your dad beginning to enjoy working out? There have definitely been plenty of tears over Oscar. So far DH has gotten mad but I really haven’t. I have heard getting angry is part of the grieving process but I don’t know that I have felt it yet. I have gone through the blaming stage of grief. I sometimes worry that maybe I just didn’t do enough for Oscar. I wonder if there was something wrong and I missed seeing it and if I had seen it maybe he could have gotten better.

Eunice Great job on shoulders and AS—that one is super fun and I think I would let time get away from me too on that one! Oh yes I love my DOMS and I know that is crazy. Actually when I fail the toilet test, I have a secret smile on my face. Yesterday was an ok day with missing Oscar. I was telling Cheryl it really felt like he was in the house still sometimes. I have been spending a lot of time going through pictures and trying to figure out how to put a memory book of him together. I am not very creative so it will probably take me a long time but I think it will help.

Pam Great job on 4DS Kickbox! That is a great workout overall but with all the work on your legs already it had to be tough. Cardio Fusion and STS Total Body are sure going to give your legs a workover too. I can’t remember which rotation you are doing but that may go on my “only attempt this rotation if crazy” list.

Have a good day!
