Strength in Numbers

This morning I did a new spin video from spinning.com called Train & Tone. It was led by Lorey Pro. It was a good workout but I don’t think I care for her instructional style. She spent most of the time talking about setting goals and how to achieve them. I really want to hear, “go, you can do this” or things like that rather than lifestyle pointers. But to each their own I guess! I am really enjoying spinning though and ordered a few more videos. These are from cyclingvideosonline.com. They are virtual reality rides. I got one set in CO, and 2 in NV. I already have my eye set on some videos filmed in HI too but will probably hold off on getting those for a little bit.

Cheryl Aww!!! Tigger is more adorable than I imagined. I love the little booty look on his paws! What a sweetie. He looks like a cuddler!

Eunice Great job on disc 15 and Powerstrike5! I hope you got to watch your shows in peace. I completely understand wanting to be able to relax in a clean house without the thought of errands and chores looming over my head.

Pam Great job on getting through the longer than expected workout! Yeah I think if you were light headed and nauseous during that detox diet it probably isn’t something you should do again. I’m betting your calories were cut to such an extreme low that is why you were having problems. I also wonder if the reason the other person lost 7 pounds was because either she has more weight to lose before getting to a normal weight or because she ate higher sodium levels and was losing a lot of water weight. Hopefully if you do gain any back it won’t be much or even put you at what you were before the diet. That would stink!

Julie I think you are right about that diet, too much of a calorie deprivation and I don't plan to do it again. I wasn't expecting to lose 7+ pounds as that would be a lot for me, but going up on that last day was especially discouraging. The good news though is that I was down another pound this morning, so as of this minute at least, my weight is right where I want it to be :D it sounds like you are really getting into those spinning DVDs, they sound really cool. I'm looking forward to getting Cathe's, maybe it will get me back into using my spin bike again. I don't think I would like that instruction style either, it sounds like kind've a drag :rolleyes:

This morning I did Imax2 and the as from cardio and weights. I used to think that ab section was sooo hard. Now it seems easy compared to some of her newer ones! DH is still sleeping, trying to figure out how long I should let him sleep. Jet lag is no fun! Tonight e are going to see a B-52's concert, I can't wait :D Have a great Saturday/Sunday everyone!

This morning I did the 90 minute premix containing all the cardio from SJP/SB! It was hard but so much fun! Today is my mom's 60th birthday! We are supposed to all meet at my sister's house at 4 for her party. I have the cake to bake so better get going!

Pam Great job on Imax 2 and abs from C&W! I know you had a blast during those hops. How many are there again?! ;) Oh you better let poor DH sleep a little more. Jet lag from Australia to NC has to be tough plus he needs to have energy for the concert tonight. Have fun!

Walked Rolly about 40 min. in the woods. Met an ex wife of my neighbor (the man that I quarrel with). Pat is 58 years old. Literally looks like she is my Joey's age. 73. She says she is trying to stop smoking. So invited her to walk with Rolly and me and she said yes. Of course she was huffing and buffing, but did better than I thought she would. As we walked, found out she has had a very hard life, and Bert (the quarreling one) took her in under his wing. I suppose after his love died, he go very lonely, and it seems (as far as I can tell) that they have a second chance together. Joey and I also was talking and think she must have also been a heavy drinker to look the way she does. I think she is honestly drying to be a better person. We'll see. In the meantime, she may walk with Rolly and I occasionally.

Julie, Great job on SF. I love that workout! Joey won't do the rotation with me, he's stuck on TBS, and I need to get away from it every now and then. So I created a rotation without TBS for at least a month. I'll post my rotation later on tonight. You guys might like it.

Cheryl, Love the pics of Tigger with his haircut. From what I understand, our weather is one of the hardest to predict, but I'm not sure why. They do have a time of it though, I agree.

Eunice, I don't know how a neighbor's dog good get to my heart so easily. I hope she didn't suffer to badly. From what I hear it's very painful. Poor girl.:( She was only eight years old. Great job on disc 15, back/biceps and Powerstrike5. I love Ilaria's workouts! I have Powerstrike something and Forza. Fantastic workouts! Love working with a sword, seems so powerful for women to do. Enjoy your TV shows.

Pam, Thank you for supporting me with my mishap of a broken toe. I can't wait to get started! I decided to do RS tomorrow and I'm almost finished with creating a rotation for me (Joe doesn't want to do this) and will start this rotation on Monday. Even though it's in the middle of the month. I want to get a rotation in before we go on our 2 month Fall trip. I'll post the rotation here tonight, in case anyone will be interested in it. Thank you for sharing the Detox Diet with me. You are right, once you eat that way you do gain all the weight back. I'm sure it gives your body a clean and non toxic body to start from again. Glad to see you going to NYC and Vegas. Both awesome cities, can't go wrong with those choices. When you do go to Bermuda though, that will be awesome too. A very unique place and someplace I would love to go to someday. Great job on Mindy's Extreme Intervals for a longer workout than you thought. Love when serendipity happens, don't you? Also fantastic job on the blanks and ab work. Does being hungry like that mean we need additional nourishment? Maybe water or more protein? I don't know. Enjoy your honey coming home and the weekend.

Julie, Great job on the spin workout. I bet Cathe's spin DVD will be awesome. Even though I don't have a spinning bike, do you think I could use my old stair climber to do the workout? I hope so, if not, any suggestions to use in place of a spinner bike? The DVD's on spinning sounds awesome with virtual reality places. I can go for that, if I had a bike.:rolleyes:

Julie, Great job on the premix cardio from SJP/SB. Does your mom workout too. I'm your mother's age, and I see that not a lot of people our age does not workout as they should. Hope she does.;) Enjoy celebrating her 60th year with your mom. It's very special.

Starting Sunday: Knowing this rotation will have to be modified for this partial month and early next month, but I'm ready to do that. Not nearly as strong as I want to be, but, will push through even with all the modifications that will be needed. The only thing I can think of is go for it and push my way to the end. The great thing about this is that at the end of this rotation, I'll be up to par (hopefully). Then a week of active recovery, which will be fun. It will contain a lot of dancing which helps in life and yoga which calms and helps with balance. Here's the rotation if anyone is interested:

Pam At least you have the diet and maybe one day you want to experiment with it and do your own detox diet :D OMG I was laughing out loud when I read what you think about my protein shake, I was telling to DH and he thinks that you won't know how it taste until you get the chance to taste it, its not that bad Pam come on !!!:D:p How much do you weight now after the grand detox????Good job doing a hard one after having light headed we get surprise of our own strength, don't we??? Janie Good for you for walking Rolly in the woods. I'm glad you met some one that can benefit from walking with you and Rolly, I really don't have that much of friends here and neighbors are busy on their own thing and I want to do my own thing too, so I guess I'm fine huh?:eek: I'm thinking about getting more of Ilaria's WO I really like her style once I get the moves all of them are fun.. I was looking at your rotation and it looks a goodie one, enjoy.

Yesterday Saturday I didn't have time to WO we went to Eppin with the girls, Rachel and I got a haircut :eek: finally my hair its getting so long and without a shape I just got it trimmed not a big deal but its so much better now, we also went to get a new bed for Sam he ate the other one and he was sleeping on the floor just with a blanket:eek: poor boy but today I saw that he already started to biting again :mad: we'll see for how long that one its going to last, My food yesterday was awful I had a good breakfast but then we had kebabs I think its pita bread, lettuce, tomatoes, onion and some kind of sauce, when I saw how much they put on them I asked the girl to put half or less of that to mine and she did it was ok, but my belly don't like that food any more I get very uncomfortable, latter for dinner DH wanted chicken schnitzel those had to be fry "I hate fry food" we had sandwiches and I only had half of one.... so today its going to be better oh yes... I don't think I'm going to WO today we are cleaning and I need to do grocery shopping and laundry but that's alright next week I'll hit my gym twice as hard!! have a good weekend everyone :D:D
 
Juliewow great job on that big SJP/SB pre mix! That sounds like a fun one! Happy Birthday to your mom! She is only 10 years older than I am! Oh yes I had a real blast doing all 108 Jeannie hops, and I was thinking of all of you while I was doing them. I like that they are early in the workout so I get them behind me and am not dreading them the whole workout. :rolleyes:

Janiegreat job on your walk with Rolly. So I'm confused, this is your neighbor's ex wife, but now his 2nd wife died and she si back living with him? Maybe he is an all right guy if he has taken her under his wing? It's nice of you to invite her to join you on your walk and it sounds like she really needs it. It is scary to see how rough people can look, the way you live really shows in your body sometimes!
Oh your rotation looks like so much fun, I know you are going to really enjoy it. Even more after having to take time off. I don't ally like Vegas very much but we are going there for a wedding. This will be the first time I've ever gone for anything other than a business convention though, so I may find that I like it ore than I thought. That trip isn't until March though and we are going to NYC for a long weekend in February to see the show the Book of Mormon. I can't wait for
I think that is exactly the way the detox diet works, you a supposed to drink lots of water and then get most of your calories and protein from the protein shakes. I was getting a t of protein, but was sure hungry :rolleyes:

Eunice you're right, I may do a modified version of the diet at some point in the future so it definitely was helpful in that respect. DH is right, I won't know how that protein shake of yours tastes until I try it and that will probably be never! ;) hehehehe
As of yesterday morning I was 125 pounds. I don't weigh myself on my rest day, so we'll see what that number is tomorrow :rolleyes:
Oh yes, I just had a blast with all those Jeannie hops :rolleyes: but as I said to Julie I'm glad they come early in the workout!
I saw that comment oFB about Cathe talking too much in her workouts and I couldn't believe it! She definitely doesn't talk too much!
It sounds like you had another busy day. Don't fret about the eating, we all have those days sometimes, just get back to normal this week. OMG Sam ate his bed??!:confused: hope he doesn't eat the new one!

Today is my day off and I have an all day cooking class. The concert was a lot of fun and we didn't get rained on. Have a great Sunday/Monday!

Eunice Tigger looks good without all of that hair and he enjoys it too. We can pet him much better without all of that fur. You had a busy Friday, good job on your workouts too. Why do cats and dogs eat their beds :confused:. One of our cats has a bed that it a bear lying on his back and he used to try to eat his nose :confused:, he has grown out of that though. My tummy doesn't feel well either when I eat certain foods. I guess that is a good thing since it helps to keep me on track.

Pam I don't think I could do a detox diet, I like food waaaay to much. With you being so hungry I bet it was really low in calories. I don't think I could have stuck with it for the three days and I bet nobody would want to be around me either since I get really grouchy if I am hungry. Only 90 degrees was it :D that is higher than it was here. I think it only got to the mid 70s and it is suppose to rain tonight. Tigger has quite the waddle as well. His doesn't hang to the floor but it is close to it. They trimed Tigger's fur around his face so it didn't look so weird. How were the B52s? I love Planet Clair and Rock Lobster, two of my favorite songs.

Julie Nice that your workout room is big enough for a spin bike. Your new spin workouts sound like fun. I know aren't his booties cute. He is a cuddler and it is so much nicer to pet now too. Hope you had fun at your mom's 60th birthday party.

Janie Poor lifestyle choices really do make a person look older than what they really are. It is nice that she is trying to make changes though. It will be nice for you to have someone to talk to when you go for your walks. I heard that our weather was very hard to predict as well. It is suppose to rain here tonight and into tomorrow. We will see if they are right or not. Looks like a good rotation. Have fun with it.

Saturday I did my bootcamp workout and today was yoga. Have a great Monday everyone.

Did RS minus the bonus step and walked Rolly for 40 min. I finely had a sweaty headband.

Eunice, I like most of the time doing my own thing too. I didn't look or ask her today if she wanted to walk with me. The reason being is that I went to the Home Association Board meeting yesterday, and her ex husband hates me for sure. So, I don't want to have tension like that in my life. It's a long story. But I'm OK walking by myself with Rolly. We have a history of dog problems for years and last year I wrote a note for the board complaining that I need help with my neighbors dog who is also on the board. It was aimed at him, because I couldn't get him to keep his dogs on his own property. But once I made lemon aid out of my problem, I became good friends with his dogs, but not him. He still is very mad at me for telling the board members and the rest of the people that he was doing wrong by Joey and Me. Anyway, that's the short version of it. It might be complicated for Pat and me to become friends. I'll let her make the next move, if she does. Sam ate his bed! What a character he is. Glad you were able to accomplish a lot yesterday and was able to get away from exercising for a little while. Bet it helps your shoulder.

Pam, Hope you had a wonderful free day. Did you enjoy your cooking class? Neighbor: His woman partner and him were together many years. When she died, I think he got lonely, somehow now his ex wife lives with him. I don't know the details. Except I know he hates me, and don't expect her to care for me either sooner or later. I'm OK walking by myself. I can go fast or slow or whatever hits me, but she is very welcome to walk with me anytime. Does that make sense? I think detoxing is good every now and then.

Cheryl, Great job on BC and yoga. I'm so glad Joey and I don't smoke or drink anymore, that's all I got to say. I can't even imagine looking that old yet. My time will come, but not ready for it yet. Poor woman.

Cheryl I'm with you, I love food too, but it was good timing to give the detox thing a try. I don't know if it really did anything other than make me feel terrible for a few days. oh well. I usually get really grouchy and get a headeache when I'm hungry too, but strangely that didn't happen so I was happy about that. The B-52s were great, sounded just like their albums. That's funny, Planet Claire and Rock Lobster were their 2 encore songs!Great job on bootcamp and yoga over the weekend!

Janie hooray! I am so happy that you got to do RS and got to wring out that sweatband. I bet it felt great!
That is quite the tricky situation with the neighbor and his ex-wife, I think you are smart to let her make the first move. He doesn't sound like he is a very nice man at all. I really enjoyed the cooking class, it was so much fun I may have to do one again sometime.

This moring for me was my first meso 3 workout, chest and back. It was great and my weights were right on. Whenever I couldn't make the exact weight I went up by just a little. It felt good, but boy I am always so hungry on my weight days! THe cooking class yesterday was so much fun. We were in the kitchen of this really nice restaurant with the chef/owner and a couple of other guys that work in the kitchen there. It was a homemade pasta class and I really feel like I learned a lot about making pasta. I can't wait to make it at home. He didn't have any recipes, just techniques and processes to follow. We made a papperdalle pasta with pork bolognese sauce (my favorite!), a mushroom ravioli with asparagus sauce, and some kind of tubular pasta with a pesto shrimp sauce. We also made a simple salad with a balsamic vinaigrette. Then we all sat down and ate what we made. I felt like l gained 5 pounds but boy was it good! I couldn't eat any dinner last night after that. He does classes twice a month and each class has a different theme, so I am definitely going to have to check out the schedule and pick another fun one. Now I need to run to a meeting. This morning I did Body Max 2! All I can say is WOW! I am doing a modified version of Cathe’s January 2005 rotation. It looked like a good rotation but I am subbing some workouts for ones I like more so I am not following it to a T.

Janie You are such a good person to welcome Pat in to your walks with Rolly. Maybe you can be a good inspiration for her and help her turn her life around. Hmm! I’m not sure if the stair climber could be used for spinning. Does it have a way to increase resistance? If so, you might be able to use it but not for the jumps. That is where you actually sit up out of the saddle of the bike for a moment and then sit back down. For standing climbs (you are out of the saddle and peddling) you could just increase the resistance. I know some people are going to try Cycle Max with their treadmills if you have one of those. My mother does not work out and unfortunately has not taken care of herself. She is obese and doesn’t eat healthy at all. I try but I think she figures why change now. Sad and unfortunately one of the things that motivates me to work out and eat healthy. I don’t want to end up like that. Your rotation looks very good and balanced. I think you have a good plan to just push yourself as much as you can each day but of course listening to your body. Good luck! We will be here cheering you along. Eunice Sounds like you had a very busy weekend! Cleaning, laundry, errands, it never ends does it? I hate it when I have a meal that isn’t very good. I like enjoying my food and when I eat something that I didn’t like for some reason it makes me want to eat something I know I will like to cover up the taste even though I am not hungry. That goes back to the whole not knowing when to stop putting food in my mouth thing. Bad boy Sam for eating his bed. Oscar did that with the crate he was in when he was younger. He finally just had to sleep on the floor with no padding because I was tired of buying new beds for him. Now he roams the house free.

Pam Glad you had fun at the concert. Great job on starting M3! I think that was my favorite meso with meso 2 right behind it. Your cooking class sounds like a lot of fun. I made homemade butternut squash ravioli once! It was really good but took me forever. I would love to make more or even make that mushroom ravioli with asparagus sauce. That sounds really yummy!

Cheryl Great job on bootcamp and yoga! My mom’s party was fun but I ate too many fried potatoes and paid for it with a sore tummy. I actually keep my spin bike off to the side of the room and only pull it out when I am going to do a spin video. It weighs 90 pounds and if it wasn’t for Cathe’s weight workouts, I don’t think I could carry it from the corner to the middle of the room.

I did MM and walked Rolly for 40 min.

Went to the board meeting the other day, (took me awhile to get my composer back) in order to talk about it. I apologized to my neighbor (the one that him and I don't see I to I about dogs) and told him that I was sorry about telling the broad members and the people there about my problems and told him I may have been able to handle it a different way. I was very emotional at the time. He said "I don't want to be the center of you attaching me anymore" or something to that effect. I said I agree, but I needed to tell everyone what was happening.

There still is much fear (about dogs) in delivery people delivering our packages and I wanted to help them out by reporting different news to the board members. One was a Fedex guy and was frightened by Bert's dogs especially Boo (she is so big and the male, who is even bigger). After that our mail lady also complained about the dogs, not only Bert's but dogs all up and down the street. She to is frightened and concerned about being able to do her job. I brought this up with the president of the board and he told me to get it writing from them (delivery persons) and present it to the board this last Sat. I did and Bert left (in the middle of my talk) on purpose to make his point that he is still angry. He later was asked to come in for other subjects. What a turd. I'm thinking I really don't need this in my life and weighing on not being reelected. I needed to vent and need this person out of my life. I think I just talked myself out of being involved in our community.

Pam, It feels soooooo good to be able to wring out the headband again. Whew! Great job on meso 3, chest and back. It sounds like a blast in the cooking class and learning a lot about pasta, sauces and salads.

Julie, Great job on BM2. It's OK to sub the workouts. It may work a little by working harder on the stair climber or less. Once I see the DVD I'll get a better sense if it will work or not. I hope so. Thank you for your support on my rotation. It's hard so far! But I love it!

PamWooow!! Pam you are so tiny you don't need to do detox diet:D I need to do something not you, I weighted before the challenge 133.3 two weeks ago? I don't remember:eek: I think I need more green protein smooths!:p hahaha!! no but seriously you are so tiny and very tall too.. OMG you day of all day cooking class sounded sooo good I really want to do something like that! and your concert too, I don't know the people you went to see but anyways how excited! So sad my Monday was gone and it was a very busy one, I hate when thing come and I don't have time to do what I do every day, you know? I went groceries right away after dropping the girls to school, then we had a meeting with the DPO, guy that it took for ever, I did my WO late then took the girls to the pool, got back home dinner whew!!:mad: I hate when thing are not like I had planned. Wow meso3 is here good for you I'm glad that you were able to sticked to your weights and go a little bit heavier too.

Cheryl You are right, why do pets eat their beds?? the very first bed he had he pee on it and we just had to trowed away then he had blankets he was dragging the blankets then eating them, the last bed he ate the neighbors gave it to us, that one last little longer untill he got bored then it was hes chowing toy and then hes back legs got sticked and he was running without knowing what to do crying we took it away then he was lost. I hope this one last longer:rolleyes: Good job doing the BC and yoga.

Julie Good job doing BM2 one of my favorite ones, its a long one but a good one. I bet you are going to have fun doing what you like and what Cathe have in that rotation. SO sad for our family who doesn't take care of them selfs:( my in-laws are the same way they eat very terrible and don't do anything but what can I do? nothing I don't want to get in trouble in the other hand my mom its 75 something years old and she still being so active, walking everywhere she say that when her clothes starts to feel tide she won't have dinner and she'll feel better..:( aw poor Oscar but I get it DH say that if he eats this bed hes going to sleep on the floor, so sad because when he didn't had the bed he didn't know when to go to sleep and just walking and wondering around, I gave him a towel I laid down on hes spot and he went to sleep right away.

Well lets talk about another kind of drama OMG ladies please I need some advice!!!! Since my sister-in-law had the babies DH it has being trying to convince me to have another baby (NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO) well another American family just got here last week and I meet her over FB we were talking she is Latina so she speaks Spanish well the thing is that when we met last Sunday she told me that she was pregnant.. why?????????? again DH is asking again and because I have the IUD? I don't even remember the name:confused: that is good for 5 years and I just got a new one before we came, he even told me that I needed to get rid of it so I can get pregnant of course I say NOOOOOOOOO but he still asking, what if it is a boy? I don't care if it is a girl? come on I'll be here for the birth! (he wasn't here for any of our girls) so hes giving me that.... well finally I say no but he won't give up... what should I do? just do it? I'm to old for having babies, I'm almost 40 and I'm scare:eek: do you guys think I'm being to selfish? or should I give it a go?????????
Ok next yesterday after all that crazy morning shopping, meetings, I got home and did legs disc 17 OMG my legs are soooo sore my bum like Rachel called my but its sooo sore and my quads I also did abs no equipment but I did extra set of touching toes so instead of 64 I did 128:eek: and my core its sore, numb too... Today I finally got to go out with Sam that was the first thing I did @9:00am after that I did Hiit Pyramid + Athletic Step and OH my!! my legs are so tight, numb a good feeling of course tomorrow its going to get worse.... OMG I forgot to tell you how terrible mother I'm Saturday when we were looking for beds we went to the pet store they have rats yuck! I hate rats Stacy was showing me that she wasn't scare and she walked by and touch the tail of one of them yuck!! so we went off and walk then we went to get lunch.... I totally forgot:eek: that she had touch the rats tail I remembered just when we were finishing with our food :mad::mad: aaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! I know I'm terrible after that I got tummy ache and she say "Mom is just a rat" with tone on her voice like mom its nothing!!!! well there, you know now!! well have a good one every one. :D
 
Well I have a sore throat and I am all stuffed up. Right after I post here I am going to take my Nyquil and go to bed. I don't know if I am going to go into work tomorrow or not. One of my employees is leaving for Vegas next week and I don't want to get her sick. She will never forgive if I do, this trip is all she has been talking about for the past month.

Janie Good job on RS and your sweaty headband. That would be a nice feeling. Funny how things change. About 20 - 25 years ago I knew so many people who smoked or drank and now no one I know does. Sorry that things didn't go so well at your meeting. Sometimes being on a strata or other boards is a thankless job. It sounds like you kept your composure during it though.

Pam Funny how you didn't get grouchy if your were that hungry on the detox. I guess that is a good thing but feeling terrible isn't great either. I had the B52s first album and I played it all the time. Glad that you enjoyed the show. Great job on the start of meso 3. A lot of people have said that they are really hungry when they do STS, it must take a lot out of you. The food you made at your cooking class sounds yummy.

Julie BM2 is a good workout and one I haven't done in a while. Maybe when I am on vacation I can fit it in. Fried potatoes would give me a sore tummy too. Gone are the days when I could eat anything. Good for you that you can carry a 90 pound bike. Cathe's workouts are working for you are they :D.

Julie Great job on BM2, that is one long workout! I rarely do the whole thing. It's funny you want to make the mushroom ravioli. I don't like mushrooms or asparagus so that was the one dish I didn't eat. I was happy that both things I don't like were on the same dish. The sauce was so simple though. All he did was cut the asparagus up into little matchstick size pieces and quickly saute them in a little olive oil. I must say that most of the people rreally liked that dish a lot. The only thing I remember about M3 from last time are the plyo legs which I love and the fact that the barbells were so heavy that I always killed my forearms. I am very thankful for my versa gripps. Thanks to Janie for recommending those!
OMG, you carry your 90 pound bike around? Good for you! My bike has wheels on the front so I just have to tip it and pull. I'm not sure I could carry it :rolleyes:

Janie Great job on MM and your walk. You are hitting it hard now with this rotation. Good for you! All I can say is you did the right thing with your neighbor. That took a lot of courage to go there and talk about it, but also to apologize to him. It sounds though like he doesn't listen or doesn't care how his actions affect other people. That is the problem with neighborhoods, you can't choose your neighbors and it seems like there are some crazy people in every neighborhood. The homeowners board is such a thankless job, I did it for 2 years and so did my DH. I don't ever want to do it again! No matter what you do someone is not going to be happy. Hang in there!

Eunice Hahaha I always think it's funny when people call me tiny. I've never felt tiny in my life because I'm too tall. And what are you talkin about, you look great! I'm sure it is because of those yummy green protein smoothies! :p If you know the song Love Shack, that is the band that we went to see last weekend. An old one, but they are really fun in concert. Sorry to hear that you had such a busy Monday and didn't get to do the things that you wanted to do, I hate it when that happens too. What is the DPO?
Oh my goodness, when you said your DH wanted another baby before I thought he was just joking. This is a hard thing to give someone advice on, it is such a huge commitment for you in so many ways. I know how men are wanting a boy, but what happens if it's another girl? It sounds to me like you really don't want another baby and I think that is the conversation that you have to have with DH. It's obviouly something you have to decide together, but honestly most of the burden falls on you, both with the pregnancy and raising a baby. It is a lot and I think it is something that you have to feel good about and ready for. I do NOT think you are being selfish, you give so much of yourself every day for your family already. Just my 2 cents FWIW.
Wow, great job on disc 17, NE abs and the extra set of toe touches! Plus your walk with San, Hiit Pyramid and AS! Hoy cow :D How are you doing in the challenge? You sure have been working hard. OMG, you are not a terrible mother, I think your DD will be fine if once in awhile she forgets to wash her hands. I don't like rats, but the people at the pet store say they make great pets :rolleyes: I don't care, I don't want one in my house anyway.

Cheryl Oh I'm sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well, I hope that the Nyquil helped you. I do think it's a good idea to stay home from work if you aren't feeling well. I get mad at people who come in and give me their germs :rolleyes: You need to stay in bed and get rested up and take care of yourself.

This moring for me was Hiit DWP and W&P abs. DWP was the only thing on the calendar but I wanted to add in some ab work and for some crazy reason decided last night that I would do W&P. I kept talking myself out of it and back into it this morning, but I made it through. I am always totally out of breath at the end of that wo. I think it was almost as hard as DWP. I'm sure I'll have ab DOMS tomorrow, I always do after that. I have some nice chest DOMS today. Have a great Tuesday/Wednesday everyone!

This morning I did a spin video called Ultimate Energy led by Doug Katona. It was pretty good. This one had a lot of jumps in it which I am not that great at but I guess that gives me something to work at.

My mother just called and told me her mother died last night. She has been sick for quite some time and just really hasn’t had the will to live for the last couple years. Actually, it may be longer than that. Her husband of 50 years died 11 years ago and she has been saying she wants to die ever since he died. It is sad because she was only going to be 83 this year. She has lived in Florida for the last 10 years but she is from Ohio. I think the plan is to cremate her in FL and then we will have the memorial service in OH August 27.

Janie Great job on MM! That is such a good total body workout. Plus your walk with Rolly. Such a good mommy! I am sorry you have to deal with the issue of the dogs on your own. I don’t understand why others on the board who I assume live in the same community are not as concerned as you. Maybe they also have dogs they let roam free. Either way not good and I don’t blame you for not wanting to be involved anymore. There are too many other stressors in life.

Eunice Great job on disc 17 legs and then DWP and AS the next day! I remember disc 17 killed my legs so I am impressed you did a double workout the next day! WOW! As Pam says, you are a machine! I’m not sure I’m the best person to give advice on children. I don’t have any of my own. I’m not sure I want any and neither does DH. So I guess I am lucky that both DH and I don’t have that desire to have kids. I do feel that both people should want to have a baby before getting pregnant. If one person doesn’t want to have a baby, then they shouldn’t have one. However, I am not sure how you can convince your DH of that other than just to continue to tell him that you are done having children and do not want to have another baby to raise. But if you change your mind and do want a baby, you can discuss it with him at that time. I hope you guys can come to an agreement soon because I can’t imagine it is fun for you to have to listen to DH beg you to get pregnant again.

Cheryl I’m sorry you are feeling icky right now. Sore throats and stuffy noses are awful. I hope the Nyquil helped. That stuff always knocks me out for 12 hours unless I take a ½ dose. Hope you start to feel better soon.

Pam Great job on DWP & W&P! Two very tough workouts. Awesome on the chest DOMS. I love getting those because I don’t really feel my chest muscles working during the workout so having the DOMS set in makes me feel like I did indeed work them. Oh my goodness. I love asparagus and mushrooms! In fact, I often steam asparagus and mushrooms with a little balsamic vinegar as my side dish. My bike has wheels on it but I have to move it away from the wall about 4 feet in order to tilt it and use the wheels. By that point, I figure I might as well just carry it over to the center of the room. I definitely don’t carry it gracefully. It is an awkward walk.

Well I stayed home from work today. I am really stuffed up right now. Good thing that I have a blackberry because I was in touch with the office a lot today. Funny how when I am there it is really slow and quite and as soon as I am away all these things come up :confused:. I wanted to try working out today but I am too stuffed up to do that right now.

Pam The Nyquil really did help me sleep. DH said that I was snoring pretty good last night. Good job on DWP and W&P.

Julie Sorry to hear about your grandmother. 83 isn't very old at all and it is sad that she didn't have the will to live after her husband passed away. Good job though on your spin video. You are making good use of that spin bike that you got. I took the full dose of Nyquil and it did knock me out.

Eunice I have no idea why pets like to eat their beds, it is kinda strange. I haven't had children either as both me and DH never did want any. However I agree with what both Pam and Julie are saying, you have to want to have another baby as well. DH shouldn't be pressuring you to do it.

Did the Wedding Video and walked Rolly 40 min.

I made the choice not to have anything to do with any meetings concerning our Home Association. I feel good about the decision, should be no more stress. It actually made my Joey very upset every time this thing about dogs come up. I better stay far away from him for awhile. I don't blame him at all, I'm upset too. But on the bright side, if at all possible, I won't have anything to do with dog situations. My only reason to get involved in the first place was because of Joey's constant complaint. I figured why complain, instead do something. But, as you can see, nothing can be done. Once the dust settles everything will turn back to normal. Whatever that is. LOL:) Gee-sh.

Eunice, Don't Have Another Baby Unless Both Of You Agree to wanting one. Great job on disc 17 legs, abs and touching toes. And for today's walk with Sam along with Hiit Pyramid & AS. LOL about the rat. You are too funny.

Pam Ok I just went to itunes and look for that song and yes I did hear that song before... What size pants do you wear? I wear size 4 and last week I bought a dress here their sizes are diff from American sizes so I got size 8 it does fit me even when I don't have boobs it fits me a little bit tide on the upper body I think its because of the back/chest muscles DH always make fun and say that if I do the "hulk" move I'll ripe the dress.:p The DPO is the diplomatic address that we get to have here so we don't have to pay taxes and crazy shipping costs, the office is in Melbourne and the guy who is on charge of the office come over to Pucka to meet everyone that is a nice thing to have:D I think DH is testing me to see if I fall for it, I did once and we had Stacy but now we don't need another baby, the situation this days is not for having babies every time a crazy DH "think" he wants one. :confused: Oh my, the challenge, the challenge its ok I guess I'm busting my butt off, but we'll see my own personal challenge is to do the 5 and a half month of STS rotation, so I'm doing good. Good job for doing Hiit DWP & W&P and for the nice doms!!! that one its a hard one, can you do the straight legs with the plates? you know which one? you start on the plank position with the plates then do the knee in but then you go with the straight legs with butt up, I cannot do that I always stay with the knee in and out:confused:

Well, let me tell you that my legs were so sore yesterday that I don't wanted to sit down or I wouldn't be able to move anymore, last night Stacy come into our bed and I had to tell her to go back to her bed because she was kicking me and that hurts. But I'm so much better today, doms are getting better I actually thought that today was going to be worse but NOT. I just needed to hear from an other people what I already know "I don't need another baby" because if DH keeps asking probably I will do it again:confused: Thanks for reaffirming my thoughts! You are so funny about your bike, if you don't mind asking me how old are you? I mean nothing to do with the bike just curious:eek:


Cheryl I'm glad that you got a good night sleep last night, maybe not your hubby if he was listening you snoring ! :p I hope you feel better soon, I think all this weather change always make someone to get sick, today its being raining all day with hard winds, I was planning on taking Sam out first thing in the morning but we got stuck in the house... I think my husband will survive with out another baby..

Janie You are working hard!!! good for you I bet you are getting very sore now since you are doing all kind of diff workouts, you got to love it. Good for you for staying away from drama people, just let everyone deal with their own issues you have to enjoy your life and focus on getting ready for that vacation its coming soon! And thanks for being so clear to me.

Today we have a very wet day its being raining since last night, windy too. So no walk with Sam today, I did disc 16 chest/should/triceps everything was fine just dropped my weight on 2 of the shoulder exercises but other than that was fine, now I just have to do my massage, stretch and ice it that is working real well. I also did cardio from Drill max 39 min. it was a good addition to my workout. Tonight I have bunko I hope I can stay away from all those sweets and alcohol drinks.
Thanks for your thought about the baby thing, DH its going to be fine, I just needed to reaffirm my thoughts because DH can be very convincing;):p
