Strength in Numbers

Oh yes at first he didn't wanted to eat it it was weird he kept looking to DH for permiso to eat it.... but now its all dirty he's being playing with it on the dirt

Today I did step moves it was a while since I did that one it was the perfect workout for active recovery week, I just don't not know why I'm soooo hungry I ate cereal, cup of coffee and chia vanilla pudding with almond milk, right before I took Sam out I had a homemade bar (apricot-almond-dates) really yummy I did 3 different flavors 5 of each and they are gone for except 2 left, after workout I had 5 eggs whites with lots of veggies and little bit of chicken and I'm still hungry:mad::mad:
Rainy, cold, day and I have to take the girls for swimming class and then go to the store to buy stuff for their lunches.... well have a good Sunday/Monday here...

Today I took a walk with Rolly. About 20 min. Made three bracelets a pair of earrings and a necklace. Tonight I'm making bread with wheat germ, unbleached bread flour, oat bran, oatmeal and flax seed. Should be really healthy for sandwiches.

Eunice, Rolly two didn't know what to do at first. He's a natural now, but I do cook the bone for him. Can't help it. He eats everything off the bone and then I don't mind him gnawing on it for days. Then we start all over again. Great job on SM. I don't know why you were hungry after a meal like that. Are you drinking plenty of water?

Take care,

Janie

Julie Great ob on disc 30 and keeping your weight at the target! Especially during the shoulder work, that is awesome! Great ob on CCC too, especially when you weren't motivated to do it. I bet yo u felt very accomplished when you were done.
It is nice to be done with the repeats during meso 2. Skiing is a great forearm and bicep workout and my shoulders seem to get a pump too. The great part though is that it is fun (usually anyway ) Too bad DH doesn't get your hints about the workouts. My DH is pretty active, but he doesn't like to workout for the sake of working out. He plays basketball, golf and he skiis, so he's able to stay pretty fit that way. The only problem is that when he isn't in a basketball league his only exercise is on the weekend...at least it is something though.

Cheryl I'm glad to hear that you got a nice day for your bootcamp class. But you took advantage of the nice weather by cleaning your garage??:confused: Aren't you supposed to be relaxing?

Janie How nice that you got out for a walk with your son and Rolly, but so sorry to hear that that darn toe was giving you trouble. You were smart though to go back and rest it rather than trying to push through it. I'm glad to hear that the folks who wanted the money necklaces came through. You must be so excited!

Eunice Oh yes, Imax 3 is a good sweat fest. I never used to do it because I did the hardcore extreme discs a lot and they have a lt of the Imax3 combos in them, but it is fun to do it all the way through. I love love love summer. When I walk outside and it is so hot I get a big smile on my face. of course it is nice to be able to go into the cool air conditioning too
Great job on Step Blast, such a fun one. I don't know the difference between those core max premixes - there is like complete core and total core and something else.....
What is happening with your DHs shoulder anyway? Does he have his surgery scheduled? I can understand him just wanting to be at home when he has been in the field all week.
Oh boy, lucky Sam with that big bone! :D When we had a boxer he used to bury bones all the time and would dig them up months later and eat them, covered in dirt and all  He seemed to remember exactly where they were buried and I guess he was just getting them well seasoned!
Great job on step moves too. Don't you just hate those days when you feel like no matter what you eat you are still hungry hungry hungry? I have those every so often ad it drives me crazy. I guess our body is letting us know that it needs it though.

Janie I hope that toe did better on your walk with Rolly yesterday. You sure had the productive day, three bracelets a pair of earrings and a necklace, wow! :D Plus making healthy bread too, good for you!

Yesterday was my rest day so no workout. I washed and waxed my car and didn't really feel like I was hot but there was sweat literally pouring down my face  I also vaccummed it and did about 8 loads of laundry, trimmed the bushes, planted some plants, went to the grocery store and made Bobby Flay's throwdown fish tacos for dinner. Yummm, they are so good but I have to make them on the weekend because there are so many parts. I think as far as tacos go they are fairly healthy because the fish is grilled. No skiing yesterday because DH played golf and after 5 hours of that in 100 degree weather he was exhausted. This morning was 40/20 and no equipment abs. I had a hard time getting up because I had a terrible sleep last night. I think there must've been some kind of venom on one of the weeds that I pulled because the fingers on my hand were just burning so bad. I got up 3 times to fill an ice pack for them and finally got to sleep sometime after 2, but woke up again when the ice was melted. This morning they were finally starting to feel better. I thought they were burning from chopping jalepenos at first, but I don't think that was it since they were so bad. That means I will probably get a great sleep tonight! Have a great Monday/Tuesday everyone!

Pam

This morning I did HiiT 40/20 and Ab Circuits Weights & Plates! I have no idea what I was thinking putting the hardest HiiT and the hardest Ab Circuits together. I guess I wasn’t thinking. Anyway, tonight will be the start of week 3 Meso 3 with disc 31 chest and back!

Cheryl Great job on bootcamp in the nice weather! Finally a nice day for you. :D Cleaning out the garage is something we desperately need to do and something we will put off for as long as we can. Good job for getting that done. I am actually starting week 3 of Meso 3. I can’t believe how fast this has gone by. Yea, I’m not holding my breath for DH to join me in eating well or working out anytime soon.

Janie So glad you listened to your body and turned back on your walk. It is better to not overdo it and you did fantastic with that. That’s great that nobody backed out of their commitment to by the necklaces from you. I understand about not always trusting people. That was a beautiful flower that your son found. If you find out what is, let us know.

Eunice Great job on Step Blast and the Core Max premix! I love Step Blast and those Core Max premixes are tougher than the straight segments. I have to pause to when she moves from no equipment to stability to medicine ball. Your lazy day with DH sounds perfect. My DH and I usually have those every Sunday to recharge for the next week. Your Sam looks to be in heaven with that giant bone. Has he finished it yet? Great job on Step Moves. That is a good one for active recovery.

Pam Great job on 40/20 and NE abs! Funny how we did almost the exact same workouts today. Maybe I should have picked NE abs instead of moaning and whining through W&P. So sorry about your hands. I had that problem with burning when I was chopping and canning an entire garden’s worth of jalapenos. If it was a plant, I hope you find out which one to avoid next time. I love fish tacos but mine are simply a tortilla with plain grilled fish and coleslaw mix without the dressing. Maybe a squeeze of lime on top. I love the idea of cooking but then get frustrated it takes so long to get done. I would love it if my DH was active even if it wasn’t formal workouts. He doesn’t even want to go on walks with the dogs.

Have a great day!

Janie Nice to have your son visiting you. Too bad your toe was acting up. Glad the the two other people paid your for the money necklaces. Sometimes it is hard to have patience when things aren't moving as fast as you would like them to. Rolly does look small in the picture. Taking pictures of pets is when you really need some patience :D. Could that flower be from the lily familiy? It looks similar to one.

Eunice That is sure one big bone that Sam has got. That will last him a while. I do need to bake more. Today I made some Chocolate Brownie Ice Cream Sandwhiches. They turned out pretty good. Good job on Step Blast and the Core Max premix. I don't think I have done one of the premixes on that one.

Pam I know crazy isn't it cleaning the garage . I did it because it wasn't raining and I could take everything out and organize it before putting is back. I can only relax for so long before I get bored . Aren't you suppose to relax on your rest day it sounds like you did a heck of a lot for a rest day :D. I hope your fingers are fine now. That would drive me crazy to have my fingers burning.

Julie You are almost finished STS, only two more weeks to go. My DH doesn't want to join me with eating healthy or working out either. Oh well as long as we keep on the right track, we can't force them. Our garage wasn't too bad, it only took me a couple of hours to get it done.

Yesterday we went out to the flea market so I missed my yoga. It was really hot out yesterday, we at least for us it was hot, it must have been almost 80 degrees. Pam, Julie I know that isn't hot for you guys but for us it was smoking'. This morning I did Power Max an oldie but a goodie.

Have a great Monday everyone.

Cheryl

Joey and I did TBS, abs and stretches today. It was wonderful. I added weight to the workout by one pound on all exercises. My toe I think is giving me a false sense of healing. It feels really good. But I know it takes 6 weeks to recover from a broken bone. I have to keep that in mind at all times. It's hard to not go as hard as you want. I have 3 weeks to go. $hit!

Pam, I bet you were hot washing the car.LOL:D What kind of rest day did you have? My O My! You accomplished a lot there girl. Good for you. Those tacos sound very good and healthy. Great job on 40/20 and abs. So sorry about your restless night. Hope you sleep like a baby tonight. How is your hand now?

Julie, Great job on 40/20 and ACW&P. It must have been hard, but you did it!

Cheryl, Hmmmm, I bet the flower is from the lily family. I laugh sometimes because our weather is so mild compared to the heat in other areas of the US. I counts us as very lucky in deed. I love flea markets. Did you pick up anything interesting? Great job on PM. Love that one.

Have a good one everyone,

Janie

Janie OMG I would love some of that bread take a picture and share please I want to droll I guess:p so did you cook Rollys bone? this bone was to big to boil I don't have a pot that big so I baked the bone, I did ask to the guy at the butchers and he say it didn't need to be cook:confused: I was like are you sure? I don't want to have a sick dog and he just laughed at me:eek: And yeah he's crazy about hes bone now he's being spending most of the time outside because of that!

Pam Wow you did like the hardcore extreme better than Imax3? you are hard core :p yeah DH its going back to another Dr. in Aug 2th and we hope that he can get the appointment for the surgery that day... Sam its crazy with that bone right now its all dirty because he keeps dragging it everywhere. I hate to be hungry I really do. Oh boy your rest day don't sound like one! Sorry about your finger I hope it gets better so you can have a good sleep. Also good job on 40/20 and abs no equipment, my favorite from all the circuits. Hmmm now I want to cook some fish tacos too.

Julie Good job on 40/20 and abs W&P I guess today was the day for 40/20:p oh and chest/back you are getting there one more week and its going to be over I bet you are going to miss this rotation of yours! Oh no Sam still have bone for a while maybe I'll get him another one next week, it was maybe 10-8Lbs it was heavy and big it sounds like he's playing with dumbbells when he dropped it.

Cheryl those brownies ice cream sandwiches hmmm sounds like yummy! I'm already planing on getting another bone:p I was complaining that the bone had a little meat DH say that's for dogs not for people :p What did you find at the flea market? SO it was smoking hot huh? In 29 Palms we would get 100 degrees that was hot 80 I think its fine. Good job on Power max I love to do the oldies on my recovery week.

Janie I hope you don't listen to the false sense of healing:p take care.

Today I did 1:30 min of step from Xpress cross training I did all step, power circuit and step & intervals its my first time doing two of those and I love them a lot of power 15's, power 7's it was just what I like to do when I'm in my recovery week do all the oldies, I took Sam out for a walk and now its time to get ready for bed I can't believe that I'm posting this late. Well have a good day/night everyone.:D

Julie Great job on HiiT 40/20 and Ab Circuits Weights & Plates! It is funny that we almost did the same workouts. Of course you had to show me up with the harder ab workout :p;) How may workouts are you doing a week anyway? Are you doing doubles on all of your weights days?! My hand is just fine now. I really thought it was from the chilis at first, but since it was so strong and lasted so long I doubt that was what caused it. I have had a burning feeling from chopping chilis before, but nothing like that. It was really strange. It went away almost as quickly as it started too (thank goodness!)
I don't mind spending an entire day cooking, in fact it is one of my favorite things to do in the winter. In the summer I just don't have the time for it. DH and the kids love it and really appreciate it though, so that helps.

Cheryl I know what you mean, I have trouble just relaxing too. I usually feel guilty because I know how much needs to be done. Hopefully I will be able to get over that when I'm retired..... Did you find any treasures at the flea market? i used to love to go to the flea market but haven't been in ages.
Almost 80 degrees? I'd be getting out my sweatshirt ;):p Great job on Power max, I love that one!

Janie Great job on TBS, abs and stretches with Joey and going up on your weight too! Hooray! Don't let that toe fool you, you are doing the right thing by continuing to go easy on it.
I think Sunday was officially a rest day because I didn't ski ;) Normally I would have at least been skiing so I got no workout at all in. The hand was totally fine by yesterday morning and still feels great and I did sleep like a baby last night :D

Eunice Oh yes, I love hardcore extreme. I like the total body interval one though, so can't do it while I'm doing STS. If you do make the fish tacos Bobby Flays throwdown recipe is a good one. The first time I made them though it took a lot longer than I thought it would and I said I wouldn't make them again, but then after we tried them I decided I would. I just had to save them for a weekend day when I had more time. They have an avocado tomatillo salsa, a slaw (no mayo though, it's got olive oil a little fresh OJ and a little fresh lime juice), a mango habanero sauce and a roasted tomato jalpeno cream with grilled fish. The only problem is that it makes so much of the sauces and you only use a really small amount, so it's kind've wasteful
Wow, great job on all of that step work! That was a good idea combing those, the main thing I hate about them is how short the cardio is. I sometimes use one of them as an add on when I want a little something more so I'll have to keep combining them in mind.

This morning for me was disc 19 chest, shoulders, tris. I was glad I got a good sleep because I needed it for that :) I felt like a big noodle afterwards so all good! Have a great Tuesday/Wednesday everyone!

Pam

Last night I did disc 31, chest & back and this morning I did MMA Fusion and the Heavy Bag Bonus. This morning on our walk, Oscar found a frog. Every time the frog would hop, Oscar would jump back and then paw at it and stomp towards it like he wanted to play. :D It was the cutest thing and I wish I had my phone with me to take pictures. Dogs sure do make life interesting.

Cheryl Great job on Power Max! It has been too long since I did that one. I may put that on my recovery week schedule. I can’t believe I am almost done with STS. It just doesn’t seem like it took 3 months to get this far. I think I am really going to miss Mesos 2 & 3. I like the legs and back & triceps in Meso 1 but all those pushups in chest make me want to skip Meso 1. I think the worst of the heat wave is over here. We are still in the upper 80s and 90s but the heat index is done under 100 (most days)!

Janie Great job on adding weight to TBS! It feels great to up your weight doesn’t it. I bet that helped increase the intensity level a bit too. You are being so patient with your toe. I know it is not easy and I admire you for doing what you have to do. :)

Eunice Great job on all that CTX stepping! It is nice using your active recovery week to do some of the olides or some of the ones you’ve never done before. I am really going to miss STS. But I will be starting again September 19. Unfortunately, that means all those pushups again but I will push through those so I can get to the good stuff in Mesos 2 & 3! :p I am picturing Sam in love with his bone and dragging it everywhere. So cute! I am guessing the reason the butcher said not to cook the bone is because cooking it can cause the bone to become brittle and splinter pieces off that could get stuck in the dog’s throat. Plus dog’s stomach’s can handle eating raw meat. I know it sounds gross but think of wild dogs that have to hunt their own food. They don’t set a fire and cook it before eating it! Although that would be impressive. Boiling it is ok as long as you don't boil it for too long.

Pam Great job on disc 19! Don’t you just love that noodle feeling!? It makes me feel like I must have really gotten a good workout in. Glad your hand is better. That would have been horrible doing weight work with a burning/stinging hand. Next time I will stick to the easier ab workouts so I don’t show you up! :p I only double up on upper body weight days. I don’t have the strength to do that heavy weight work in the morning and now that I am in Meso 3 I really want DH home to spot me on bench presses so I can go to full potential. I could probably sleep in on those two days but I figure that would mess with my sleep schedule. I have all day cooking fests every once in a while but that is to stock up on lunches to take to work. I will usually spend an entire day cooking soups and meals, putting them in individual containers and freezing them in my deep freezer. Then during the week, I just pull out a meal for lunch and go. It takes all day but is worth not having to come up with ideas in the morning or buying my lunch.

Have a great day!

Janie Good job on TBS and upping your weight, but make sure you don't overdo it you don't want to injure your toe again and go back to square one. Our weather is quite mild, I don't think I could take the heat that they get back East. I didn't find too much at the flea market just a bracelet and a necklace.

Eunice For me smokin' hot is 80 degrees for me . I turn into a wet noodle if it gets any hotter than that. Today it is back to 68 degrees again cloudy and rainy. I remember you telling me that I should post some more pictures on facebook. DH told me to tell you that he will put some more up on my facebook page. I have no idea what pictures, it will be a surprise for me too. Maybe I should see about changing my profile pic since that is a really old picture. You had a good workout today. I never thought about putting all the cardio together with the cross train express.

Pam I always have to keep busy or I get too bored. I will probably still be looking for things to do when I retire there is always something that needs to be done. Funny you would just be getting out of your sweatshirt at 80. I think if you ever came here you would freeze to death at least this summer you would. I still have my quilt on the bed. Good job on disc 19.

Julie Good job on disc 31 and MMA fusion and the heavy bag bonus. Too funny about Oscar and the frog. I really liked meso 2 and 3 not so much meso 1 and I do think it is because of all those push ups. You are still a lot warmer than we are here, I can't remember such a cold summer, we really don't have to water the garden because of all the cool and wet weather.

This morning was S&H Chest and Back. I did some running around and cleaning and now it is time to relax, I think, unless I find something else that needs to be done .

Have a great Tuesday everyone.

Cheryl

Did 40 min. of the wedding video and tonight did 30 min. on the stair climber. Modified where I needed. Not a ring out headband, but was sweaty non the less on the two workouts. My toe is just a tid bit sore. I'll lay off it a little more. Trying to find a happy medium at this point.

Eunice, We already ate the rest of the bread. It doesn't stay a whole loaf for very long around here. Great job on 1 1/2 hours of step fro XCT and AS. Wow, you go girl! Did you enjoy the walk with Sam. Gets some sleep, you deserve it.

Pam, Great job on disc 19, chest, shoulders, and triceps.

Julie, Great job on disc 31, chest and back, and for this mornings MMA Fusion and the heavy bag bonus. I love the heavy bag.:) Yes, I think that's why they call dogs, our best friends. Gotta love em.:)

Cheryl, Great job on S&H Chest and Back and doing house max. I certainly don't want to start the process of healing all over again. So I'll be extra careful.

Take care everyone,

Janie

Pam You know if the chiles are very spice you can get that burning sensation just like we feel in our mouth so who knows maybe it was that, did you use the habaneros? those are hot, hot, hot!:p I love to cook too, DH and girls love that. I haven't done the hard core extreme in a long while  I'll make sure to search for that recipe, did you use corn tortillas? if so I'm going to have to use whole wheat tortillas Australia doesn't eat corn tortillas. so far my favorite fish tacos in the whole wide world (I haven't try any others yet) are from Oceanside CA at the bay the tacos are huge, soooo good!! You are right about the CTX cardio its mild compare with the new Cathe's cardio my heart rate didn't got higher than 123-145 and I'm used to get it high 122-180 that's why I went go ahead and did more  Good job doing disc 19 love the noodle feeling too.

Julie You are a machine!!! you are working out every 8 hours? something like that, how do feel? Good job on disc 31 and MMA:Fusion and the heavy BB.. and walking your dogs, what time do you get up to do all this work? You make feel like lazy girl..:p To funny about your dog and the frog that would make me deff take pictures I like to take pictures of everything... My favorite one meso2 and meso3 too. I think you are going to do a great job second time around even on those pushups. You will enjoy your recovery week doing all the fun ones. Yeah that's what the butcher told me about the bone, so now that Sam got use to the bone next time I won't cook it, I'm so glad I got him the bone he was just desperate eating wood chips, dry hard sticks even he was cutting the brunches of the small tree, there was no toy that it would last more than a day with those huge teeth, so I'm happy now he's busy ;) still crying for the walks but that's fine we can do that.

Cheryl A bracelet & necklace that's nice. Today was foggy real foggy I've never seen that close, so cold too. Really? your DH its going to do that? that's nice DH would never do that for me, I'm always doing that I'll make sure to check your FB yeah that's a good idea changing your profile picture I just did that too. I did enjoy the cardio WO I got yesterday it was good :p Your funny, you will get bore just doing nothing? hmmm maybe I will do to but it is so nice to have a quiet day or morning no noise just taking a day off.:D Good job on S&H chest/back I did really enjoy doing that series last time, the leg workout it was really good now that I'm a little bit stronger love that :p

Today I took the day for complete off, off  of working out I didn't even took Sam out today and he was fine with that weird:confused: I think he's very tired of chewing that bone:p I'm along watching my favorite shows that I did recored I don't even have to cook dinner we are having left overs, I had to fill some papers of reimbursement of transportation for my DD school and some of Astrid papers that she need help with, went to the store, I dropped Brandy at the train station so by the time I was done it was lunch time so I just made my self a big bowl of strawberries, kiwi, half banana, greek yogurt coconut syrup, chopped almonds & walnuts, yogi berries, hmmm it was yummy.. Now I have to go to the mail room, and maybe I'll bake some cookies for the girls, we'll see. Well have a good day everyone tomorrow I will hit hard my workout:D

Janie Good job on the climber and the wedding video I haven't see that one Cathe doesn't have that one for sale anymore I think I saw it once when I first find her but not anymore, Take care of that toe I bet you can't wait.. I bet it wouldn't last at my house either so maybe next time. You too take care :D

Julie Great ob on disc 31, MMA Fusion and the Heavy Bag Bonus. We are really on the same wavelength this week, I did MMA Fusion this morning! What a cute story about Oscar and the frog :D Dogs are so cute when they are playful like that.
I do love that noodle feeling, it makes you feel like you really are getting agood workout. You are smart to stock the freezer for your lunches. My problem with that is that my freezer is always full I've thought about getting a big freezer but I'm afraid I would load it up and then never touch anything in it

Cheryl
I'm like you, I always have to keep busy too and of course there is always more that needs to be done than I have the time to do. I definitely don't think I would be too happy with a summer like you have been having this year :( Maybe things will get nice soon and you'll have an indian summer :D Great job on as S&H Chest and Back. Hopefully you did get some relaxation in!

Janie Great job on the wedding video and stair climber. You are doing a really good job of getting workouts in while being kind to your toe. Good for you.

Eunice I have had burning fingers in the past from working with chilies, but this was a lot worse than anything I've had from them before. One of these days maybe I will remember to wear gloves when I do it  I do at least wash my hands really well right after....the fish taco recipe calls for corn tortillas, but I prefer the flour ones so that is what I used. Really you can't find corn tortillas in Australia? That is strange.....

Good for you for taking a complete rest day. Those are important every so often. Your lunch sounds sooooo good! Yum!

This morning for me was MMA Fusion and Circuit blast cardio only. I think I need to do the whole circuit blast workout one of these days. I've only done it once and I don't really remember it, but the cardio only was fun (but really short). Julie I was thinking about you during those turtle spins in MMA Fusion. I was just wondering which of the MMA discs they were in when Cathe said 'OK next are turtle spins' :D This was a fun combo. Have a great Wednesday/Thursday everyone!

Pam

This morning was disc 32, plyo legs. Out of the three plyo legs I have done, I think this was the easiest. Not EASY, just the easier of the three I have done. I was having severe balance issues during the 1-legged squat thrusts. I think I hopped (or thrusted) myself all over my room. That was fun! :p

Cheryl Great job on S&H C&B! Plus getting cardio in with running around and errands! ;) I am glad you are getting to relax some too. I guess not having to water the garden is one reason to be ok with the weather. I am glad I didn’t have time to plant one this year. There is no way they would have survived this heat and my not so good at the remembering to water things habit.

Janie Great job on the Wedding Video and stair climber! Maybe with your toe being sore you should take a day off or just do an upper body split the next couple days. I know you will do the right thing for you. I wish I knew more about the Wedding Video. I have heard it is good but without looking on ebay, I have never seen it for sale. Maybe Cathe will offer it as a download someday.

Eunice Your day sounds perfect to me! I love those days where you can just relax and do what you want when you want. I don’t work out every 8 hours! That would be crazy if I had that much energy. Plus DH would probably kill me. He does tolerate me working out in the afternoons twice a week though. ;) I get up at 3:15 am to workout. DH gets up at the same time so that helps. I should not make you feel lazy Miss I like to do 90 minutes of step at one time! Sometimes I think we are just a little crazy with our workouts but if it makes us happy that's all that matters. Hopefully Sam having that bone will help keep from getting into garbage and other things he shouldn’t be eating.

Pam Great job on MMA Fusion and CB Cardio Only! I have only done CB Cardio only never the entire workout. The cardio only premix is nice to add on to other shorter workouts. Now don’t you feel kid-like when you do those turtle spins!?! :D I love them and could just do them all day. And the last combo in MMA Fusion really makes me feel like I could take somebody down if I needed to. The bottom of my deep freezer is full of my lunches and the baskets have veggies, fruit, meats, and breads. And then of course, DH has his own special basket filled with pizza, pizza rolls, sliders, hungry-man meals, and bomb pops! My mother’s freezer is your worst nightmare. She has so much in there and really doesn’t use as much out of it. I think I like mine so well because we live 30+ miles from any real grocery store. I try to stock up on frozen things in the winter because in this summer heat, the stuff would be melted before we got home.

Have a great day!

Janie Great job on the wedding video and the stair climber.

Eunice Is this your first time dealing with fog? It can be hard to deal with especially at night because it is hard to see. We have had it so bad that it didn't lift for about a week. It is weird when it is so thick you can't even see across the street. Yes DH helped me upload some more pictures on FB. I even changed my profile picture, it is now a bit more updated. I hope you enjoyed your day off. Your lunch sounded really healthy and good.

Pam If you like the heat you really won't like our summer at all. I have only worn shorts maybe about 5 times so far . This is cold even for us. Actually September is my favorite month of all of them. It is still nice and sunny but cool so you can sleep. Good. job on MMA Fusion and the cardio only in Circuit Blast. Aren't those turtle spins fun

Julie Great job on disc 32. I have severe balance issues during the 1-legged squat thrusts too. The fustrating part is Cathe and the crew make it look so easy when they do it. I never planted anything out back since the weather was so cold, but the weeds are doing great. Wow you live over 30 miles from a grocery store!!! You really wouldn't want to forget anything on your list would you.

Today I did HiiT DWP and no equipment abs. It had been a while since I had done either of them. After that I did the grocery shopping and puttered around.

Have a great Thursday everyone.

Cheryl

Pam Whats ans Indian summer:eek: Pam my fridge its sooo small that I have to go groceries every week I can't wait to have one of those big ones with the freezer under :D Well I find ones a package with 12 little tortillas for $4.00 hmmm NO thanks you can keep them. Yes my day was really good I kind of started getting bore but I stick to it just the basic around the house, I baked lemon, cornmeal cookies for the girls then latter I went to pick up my DD from the train station and I don't know why but I actually was sooo tired I taught that I was going to have trouble sleeping but not I even had a dream with Cathe and the RT... to funny.
Good job on MMA:Fusion and CB cardio only, I do think the same that dvd doesn't get used as much as the other ones and its a fun one.

Julie Good job on disc 32 plyo Ihave to remember that when I get to meso 3 that the 3rd week its the easy one, I can picture you hopping all over your room thanks goodness that you have a big workout room now... :p Hahaha its funny how you called me "Miss I like to do 90 min of step" I know we are crazy we like to torture our self just because Wow! 3:15? that's early I remember when we were living in Virginia I used to get up @ 4:30 to take DH to the metro then I would go back home and do my workout, then go to work, I don't know how I did that because now I hardly get up @7:15 but I don't get my WO till 10-11 am. Sam its crazy this morning I went to the back yard and he's being digging and the bone keeps getting small and he keeps growing:eek: You are very smart stoking your lunchs for work good for you!! :D

Cheryl Yes its my first time dealing with fog that close that the girls were saying that the clouds were to low :p Not as bad as yours wow! didn't lift for a week that must drive peoples nuts doesn't? OMG I saw your pictures I like your new hair cut it suit you very well, and your cats are cute too. I can picture you taking pictures of your cats I do the same with Sam, we are crazy huh? I did enjoy my day off I kind of got a little behind but that's alright today I did everything it needed to get done, its weird the day before I clean the floors and left everything clean for my day off and today it looks like the house has never being clean I hate that:mad: Good job doing Hiit DWP and abs no equipment I did that one(abs)too.

Well my day off trow me off schedule today I was running around putting everything on place after the girls went to school after that I took Sam out then when I got back it was 12:00 afternoon so I did Intensity +Boot Camp and Abs no equipment it was a good wake me up, its funny how our bodys let us know what we need, what we can handle I really needed that one.I can feel my legs still kind of numb  Then I bake some of my protein brownies hmmm they are soo good. Well have a good day everyone.

Joey and I did TBS, segment of abs and stretches from Cathe.

Eunice. I asked Cathe/SNM if Joey could make a copy for you guys of the Wedding Video. I'm crossing my fingers, but not holding my breath. Hope so, it would be so cool to get that to you. It's a good workout.

Pam, Great job on MMA Fusion and CBC only. I've forgotten what Turtle Spins are, I'll have to go look right now.

Julie, Great job on disc 32, legs. I need more balance in my life. Really. I hope Cathe will allow Joey to copy some for you guys. I have that question in, but I doubt it. My fingers are crossed.

Cheryl
, Great job on Hiit DWP and the abs. I have a list of things to shop for, I may have to go in the next couple of days.

Eunice, Great job on walking Sam, Intensity BC and abs. Hmmm I can taste those protein brownies.

Take care,

Janie

ERRRR....we were having network issues when I tried to post earlier and lost my whole post :mad::mad: Trying again.
Julie Great job on disc 32, plyo legs. The first time I did that one and saw those 1-legged squat thrusts I thought Cathe was out of her mind. How do you think she dreams up this stuff?! I don't know why Circuit blast doesn't ever seem to come up in rotations, maybe because it is so short.... The turtle spins are a lot of fun but I do question how much they really work the abs? Maybe I'm not doing them right, but it doesn't seem like they do much for mine. I do love the last combo in MMA Fusion. And how about how Cathe describes some of the moves....grab by the hair and pull em down and then finish em off with the punches! Ouch! Wow, 30 miles to the closest grocery store? I would have withdrawals...I go almost every day.

Cheryl I definitely would not be happy with the weather you are having this summer. I really like September and October here though too. It is usually still warm enough to go to the lake or beach during the day, but cool enough to open the windows at night. We can't do that very often during the summer because it's so hot! Great job on HiiT DWP and no equipment abs. I like those Hiit+ab combos!

Eunice An Indian summer is when it is warm and stays summer like weather into the late fall. We used to wish for them all of the time when I lived in Michigan because the summers were so short. I have a big refridgerator with a freeezer at the bottom and shop almost every day and still manage to fill it up all the time
I know that sometimes I am more tired when I have a lazy day. I think the more you sit around the more you feel like sitting around....seems strange. It's funny that you had a dream about the Cathe RT. Remember I had one right after you went to the one in San Diego. I guess the Glassboro RT is this weekend for those lucky people!
Holy cow, I guess you made up for having a day off with Intensity+BootCamp + NE abs. Wow! No wonder your legs felt kind've numb for awhile. I think you earned some of those protein brownies!

Janie Great job on TBS, abs and stretches with Joey! Did you go check out the turtle spins? They look kind've silly but they are fun to do. Now I always think of Julie when I do them since I know she loves them :D
Wow, that would be cool if SNM says you can make copies of that video. I'm guessing they won't, but you never know....

This morning for me was disc 20 legs. I am really ready to be done with meso 2. I do like these trisets, but I feel like I've been doing meso 2 forever now. I was proud of myself this morning though because I was using 20 pounds for the one legged slide forward on the plate (can't remember what Cathe calls them). When the first set was finished Cathe said that felt light so she was going up to 15 pounds. It seemed like such an accomplishment that I was using heavier weight than Cathe  It's the little things, right? ;) Anyway, this better post this time or I am giving up. Have a great Thursday/Friday everyone.

Pam

This morning I did 4DS Kickbox Cardio & Abs Only. I forgot how hard the abs in that one are at the beginning. When she said, this is your last one, I actually said “Thank you!”

Cheryl Great job with DWP and NE abs! I actually didn’t even see Cathe or crew doing any of the 1-legged squats. I was too afraid to look up at the TV. There is a small grocery store about 15 miles from us but they don’t carry much and what they do carry is close to being expired or very questionable from a safety standpoint. I do forget things sometimes but nothing that can’t wait till the next weekend trip. Although one time the grocery store forgot to put my bottle of wine in my bags. I didn’t notice until we got home. I was so mad!!!!

Janie Great job on TBS with Joey! I saw your post to SNM. I appreciate you asking. I highly doubt they will give you permission but who knows. Maybe if they don't they will get the idea to offer it as a download.

Eunice Great job on Intensity, Bootcamp and NE Abs! I can’t believe you combined Intensity with Bootcamp. You one crazy lady! You and Cherl had the same idea with the abs. It is funny how our bodies tell us what we need. I feel great having one rest day a week but if that one day turns into 2 or more in a row, I start to feel really sluggish and need to get moving again. If I had my choice, I wouldn’t be getting up that early. I would love to be able to work from home so I didn’t have a 1 hour one way commute.

Pam Great job on disc 20! You have been doing this forever and I can only imagine you are ready to be done with it. I had thought about doing the 5 ½ month rotation where you repeat each week of Meso 1 & 2 before moving on and do Meso 3 as is. But then I thought, “That’s 8 weeks of Meso 1 pushups! No way!” I am with you on the little things. If I am using a heavier weight than someone in the crew I always get a little excited. I am not sure how well the turtle spins work but I sure do enjoy them. Yea, every time Cathe says those things about finishing them off and drive it down hard, I feel like I actually punch with more intensity (and a smile on my face!)

Have a great day!
