Julie Great ob on disc 30 and keeping your weight at the target! Especially during the shoulder work, that is awesome! Great ob on CCC too, especially when you weren't motivated to do it. I bet yo u felt very accomplished when you were done.
It is nice to be done with the repeats during meso 2. Skiing is a great forearm and bicep workout and my shoulders seem to get a pump too. The great part though is that it is fun (usually anyway
) Too bad DH doesn't get your hints about the workouts. My DH is pretty active, but he doesn't like to workout for the sake of working out. He plays basketball, golf and he skiis, so he's able to stay pretty fit that way. The only problem is that when he isn't in a basketball league his only exercise is on the weekend...at least it is something though.
Cheryl I'm glad to hear that you got a nice day for your bootcamp class. But you took advantage of the nice weather by cleaning your garage??
Aren't you supposed to be relaxing?
Janie How nice that you got out for a walk with your son and Rolly, but so sorry to hear that that darn toe was giving you trouble. You were smart though to go back and rest it rather than trying to push through it. I'm glad to hear that the folks who wanted the money necklaces came through. You must be so excited!
Eunice Oh yes, Imax 3 is a good sweat fest. I never used to do it because I did the hardcore extreme discs a lot and they have a lt of the Imax3 combos in them, but it is fun to do it all the way through. I love love love summer. When I walk outside and it is so hot I get a big smile on my face. of course it is nice to be able to go into the cool air conditioning too
Great job on Step Blast, such a fun one. I don't know the difference between those core max premixes - there is like complete core and total core and something else.....
What is happening with your DHs shoulder anyway? Does he have his surgery scheduled? I can understand him just wanting to be at home when he has been in the field all week.
Oh boy, lucky Sam with that big bone!
When we had a boxer he used to bury bones all the time and would dig them up months later and eat them, covered in dirt and all
He seemed to remember exactly where they were buried and I guess he was just getting them well seasoned!
Great job on step moves too. Don't you just hate those days when you feel like no matter what you eat you are still hungry hungry hungry? I have those every so often ad it drives me crazy. I guess our body is letting us know that it needs it though.
Janie I hope that toe did better on your walk with Rolly yesterday. You sure had the productive day, three bracelets a pair of earrings and a necklace, wow!
Plus making healthy bread too, good for you!
Yesterday was my rest day so no workout. I washed and waxed my car and didn't really feel like I was hot but there was sweat literally pouring down my face
I also vaccummed it and did about 8 loads of laundry, trimmed the bushes, planted some plants, went to the grocery store and made Bobby Flay's throwdown fish tacos for dinner. Yummm, they are so good but I have to make them on the weekend because there are so many parts. I think as far as tacos go they are fairly healthy because the fish is grilled. No skiing yesterday because DH played golf and after 5 hours of that in 100 degree weather he was exhausted. This morning was 40/20 and no equipment abs. I had a hard time getting up because I had a terrible sleep last night. I think there must've been some kind of venom on one of the weeds that I pulled because the fingers on my hand were just burning so bad. I got up 3 times to fill an ice pack for them and finally got to sleep sometime after 2, but woke up again when the ice was melted. This morning they were finally starting to feel better. I thought they were burning from chopping jalepenos at first, but I don't think that was it since they were so bad. That means I will probably get a great sleep tonight! Have a great Monday/Tuesday everyone!
