Strength in Numbers

Janie Sorry to hear that your bone density test wasn't good. Make sure you take your calcium and VD and do more weights and higher impact cardio. At least you can monitor your sleep apnea at home that is much better than going to a lab and have someone monitor while you sleep.

Eunice Glad to see you back on the boards. Sounds like you are enjoying Australia. It is hard to believe you have been there almost a year already. Did you pre order Cathe's new workouts?

Julie MMA Fusion is a lot of fun to do. Our weather seems to be the same as yours nice during the week and raining on the weekend. Of course this is our long weekend and it is suppose to rain the whole time . Well at least I got to be outside a bit during the week.

Pam Our Canucks are leading the series two games to one. They didn't play that great yesterday and they will play again tomorrow. The impromptu BBQ was fun. We are talking about doing it more this summer. I find Step Moves a great workout when you are sore or just don't have the energy. Enjoy your late Mother's Day dinner.

This morning I did Circut Blast. Since it was not a good workout week for me I wanted to do something that had both cardio and weights.

Have a great Sunday everyone.

Cheryl

Went to the spa yesterday. My kids purchased a hot stone message for me. OMG! I give those same messages to my friends and family, but I've never done it my self. It was fabulous! Also had a remarkable lunch. Will be spending most of the day in the garden and hoping I will have enough time to walk Rolly. Mostly just weeding today, just a lot of it.

FYI: My doctors tell me Women need to take at least 1000 mg of calcium per day (1200 is recommended for women over 50) and 2000 IUs of Vit D3 per day. Be sure you take that much. It's not just once a day, it's throughout the day.

Eunice, So sorry everything there is so expensive.:( That's not fun at all. Sounds like Melbourne was just the ticket to get out and play. Very necessary. I'm glad too that I will be doing more of Cathe's workouts to help me with my bones.

Julie, Great job on MMA Fusion. Thinking of you while you are working on your house.

Pam, I'm so grateful I don't have to sleep in one of their facilities. I hope I don't have Sleep Apena, but I understand that, that is part of having GERD. Darn! We'll see. My doctors tell me women need to take 1000 mg of calcium per day and 2000 IUs of Vit D3 per day. You too, are not taking enough. Do take the amount needed to be healthy. Great job on Step Moves and abs. Love it when you have fun water skiing. Also sounds like wonderful meals. Enjoy.

Cheryl, I will take my vitamins. Shoot, I really thought I was taking enough, but nope, I wasn't. Great job on CB. Love the interval workouts too.

This is sooooooo funny! YouTube - ‪larry griswold‬‏

Janie Isn't the spa wonderful!!!!! I love getting a massage. I think I am getting enough calcium. I take calcium twice a day plus drink milk and eat yogurt. So hopefully I am good. Loved the video clip. It is amazing that he really didn't hurt himself.

This morning I went to yoga. I have a bike now so I rode down there. It has been at least 15 years since I have been on a bike. I can tell already that my quads are going to be feeling it tomorrow. We are heading out to my parents soon. It was my brother's birthday on Friday and it is mine today. So we will either be going out for dinner or having a BBQ. Our Canucks are playing right now so I hope they give me a really good birthday present by winning today.

Have a great Sunday everyone.

Cheryl

Cheryl,

Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to Cheryl,
Happy Birthday to you.

And many more...

Great job on your yoga, especially when it is your birthday. I love riding a bike, good for you. Enjoy the BBQ.

Hey Pam I know I saw that you went to Cancun for your mini vacation! Miss Vacation you always win the title;) So STS I love it I want to do another round too, maybe after I'm done with this month rotation I will, when I was doing the RB rotation I wasn't getting any more domes but I bet after a break I will get some.... So is the time for skiing already? wow times goes by so fast I know! I almost have 1 year here and we haven't done that much wow!! we really need to, well we want to do something this year, we will have my 40 birthday, DH birthday and our 10th anniversary so we want to do something pretty nice maybe going to NZ since we are here, but maybe we'll end up going to Sidney or some other place. Step Moves my favorite one ever I think its a good one for a sore booty!! have fun going to the bathroom haha:D I haven't discovered Shiraz I'm real bad what I found and I really liked it was a sweet wine even a red wine that its sweet, I like those kind. Your dinner sound lovely!

JulieGreat job with MMA:Fusion another of my favorites ones I think I have a lot favorites ones hahah!! I agree with you I like this one better that the boxing one, so where do you live? I wonder if remodeling your house its fun? maybe it is because its your own house, with your own touches so maybe it is..... Oh yes everything here its so expensive, example 1kilo bananas $12.98 1 box of cereal $7.00 milk 2litters 3.0 food OMG eating out its the most expensive ever you wont find anything lest than $10 between 12-22 dollars a plate. But I don't think its because they export, everything here its from here Australia but again people here make lots of money too.

Chery Isn't? So fast, to too fast for another things you know like the girls growing up to much I don't have baby's no more now I have little girls:( who are driving me crazy, Rachel just turned 9 last night she was being so silly you know that I'm Mexican so my accent is there, well she was speaking like I do and I was laughing and asking to DH "do I sound like that? NO, I don't sound like that" to funny!! Oh yes I did I pre order Cathe's new workouts!! and I'm so glad she is making new ones I bought Kelly Coffey 2 new DVDs I don't like them, I was thinking really there is no need to go explore some other trainers when I'm so use to Cathe I can't workout with someone else. Good that you have the nice weather enjoy it! we have winter on its way and its getting pretty cold and rainy!! I used to love it but right here, right now its making me lazy:( and I don't like that! BTW! HAPPY BIRTHDAY Cheryl!!!

Janie So glad that you got to enjoy a message sounds pretty nice and relaxing, nice weekend that you got! I don't know about the garden job! I'm not good at it.. OMG I think I need to star taking vitamins more often I forget about it and I really need to. Well going to Melbourne was really nice but now I have to go back and it looks like I will need to do it by my self which I didn't wanted to do, we got Rachel uggs boots (not real ones) well the thing its that when we were half way coming back home my DD noticed that boots were funny she look at them one boot its size 7 and the other one is size 8 whatt?????? I wanted to die, in the next coming weekends DH its not at home so he cannot take me to exchange them:mad:[ OMG the video its really funny, nothing like that now this days huh! everything now is just garbage.

Cheryl wow 15 years since you rode the bike that quite some time, a good workout for your legs good that you got to stretch doing some yoga!! Have a good weekend enjoy your birthday!!

Well I'm on my way to do Pyramid Upper body, I hope I can upper my weight load a little bit more, Cathe moves really fast in this one so I have to be prepare... Yesterday I did Rhythmic Step it was a good workout every time I do it I get better on the moves.... I did burn almost 500 calories, so it was good... Today I have to get some chores done Rachel its going on her first camp this week and I need to go get some stuff for her, then take the girls to their swimming classes, and endless thing around the house!! Oh well, have a nice day everyone.

Cheryl It looks like you got your Canucks win for your birthday. Congratulations!! I hope it was a great day in addition to the win!
Great job on Circuit blast on Saturday and yoga yesterday and riding your bike there! I love my bike but I haven't ridden in way too long. Once we start water skiing it gets hard to find the time to get it in. Another thing to put on the list to do more of once I retire  I think this is your long weekend so you are off work today, right? Our long weekend is next weekend and I can't wait!

Janie, It sounds like you had such a lovely day at the spa. A hot stone massage sounds wonderful! I have never had one. I LOVE regular massages, need to try that hot stone one sometime.
I guess I need to check out the dosages of my Vit D and calcium! I have no idea what I am taking. I know I have a hard enough time taking them once a day, can't imagine trying to remember more than once!
That was a cute video, but oh my, some of those moves seemed like they would hurt a lot!

Eunice The Cancun trip was our January mini vacation and we just had a mini vacation to California wine country for our anniversary at the beginning of May. You guys are similar to us this year. We both turn 50(!) this year and had our 10 year anniversary. That is why we went to California because we got married there. We went and stayed at the same place an visited the winery where we got married. I got some MAJOR DOMs from the leg and glute workout on Friday, I failed the toilet test all weekend and am still feeling it a little today! I think that either NZ or Sydney would be wonderful. In Sydney there is a really fun little flea market at the Rocks. The bridge walk is a really fun thing to do and so is the Sydney zoo. I have never been to NZ but I have heard that it is absolutely gorgeous!
Wow, food really is expensive there, I had no idea! I hope the military takes that into account and you get some more expense money to help with that! How far is it to Melbourne from where you live?
So cute that Rachel was imitating your accent :p Silly girls! You know I got a Kelly Coffey workout to try too because a lot of people were raving about her workouts, but I didn't really like it either. I do really like Mindy Mylrea and Tracy Staehle and sometimes Amy Bento, but you have to be ready to think when you do Amy because she has really complex combos and doesn't do a very good job of breaking them down! Great jo bon Rythmic step and PUB. RS is my all time favorite I think (hmmm....it might be intensity now though!)

This morning for me was disc 4 chest, shoulders and biceps and all I can say is ouch! My shoulder is still giving me problems so I had to drop down on pretty much all of the shoulder weights and I could barely do pushups  I just tried to do them all on my knees at least. We had a great skiing weekend. We did ski on Saturday afternoon, and then had the dinner Saturday night. Yesterday we wanted to get some things done around the house, so I did a lot of weeding and a lot of spraying weeds and then we packed up a picnic and took it to the lake with us. It was an absolutely gorgeous day and evening. The water is the perfect temperature right now (pretty soon it will be hot), and there was no wind so skiing was fantastic. Then we got out our picnic and had a little picnic beside the lake. I made a big antipasto salad, got a loaf of crusty bread and took a bottle of wine and a table cloth and candles. It was perfect! Now it's back to work, BOO! have a great Monday everyone!

Pam

This weekend was super busy with the house. Saturday DH worked on putting up trim and I worked on moving some of our stuff out of the living room and into the one bedroom that was done. Then my dad came out and helped us install a ceiling fan and mount our TV to the wall in our bedroom. Sunday was spent shopping for groceries and for more remodeling supplies!

This morning I did Athletic Step and Ab Circuits Stability Ball Abs. I thought Cathe was crazy when she was doing the extended leg levitation holds but what is up with those 1-legged pikes?!? I can barely do regular pikes and there she is (and the crew) doing 1-legged pikes with the other leg raised high up in the air. I tried them but spent more time laughing at myself then actually staying on the ball!

Pam Great job on Step Moves! My legs & glutes were better than weeks 1 & 2 on Saturday but still sore. Great job on disc 4 too! I have noticed that either I did my 1RM tests for the shoulders wrong or I am just really weak during these endurance workouts. I have had to drop almost all of my shoulder weight down and my shoulders are what gives out during the pushups (not my chest). :(

Cheryl Great job on Circuit Blast and your bike ride to yoga! I haven’t been on a bike in years. I’m not sure I even remember how to ride one! If I read the headline right this morning in my hurry to get to work, it looks like the Canucks won! I hope you are enjoying your long weekend and had a wonderful birthday!! :D

Janie Oooh! A hot stone massage sounds wonderful! That was very nice of your kids to get it for you. I am hoping to get a massage in August when I finish STS. I figure that would be a nice addition to the last active recovery week! I can’t remember how much my calcium supplement is. I’ll have to check it tonight. I do eat plenty of yogurt which helps add calcium to my diet. Hopefully you got all your weeding done although that seems like a never ending job to me.

Eunice Great job on Rhythmic Step and PUB! Those are two goodies. I think PUB is one of my favorite upper body workouts and RS is just all around fun without being super intense. I too have lots of favorites and they are all Cathe! I think my favorite changes from day to day! :p Wow food is expensive there. I can't imagine paying those prices but if you make more I guess it evens out. I live in central Illinois in a very small town (400 people). There is nothing around is for 30 miles but corn and soy bean fields and a few other small towns. Any type of shopping we need to do takes quite a drive to get to the “big” city which is why we try to just go once a week for groceries and essentials. The remodeling is fun but hectic. We basically redid our entire basement which is where our bedrooms are. We redid the studs, drywall, floor, everything. We are now to the point of just putting on the finishing touches and hopefully moving back in to our bedroom in the next month. We have been sleeping in our living room for 2 ½ years so it will be nice to have an actual bedroom again!

Oh joy, oh happy Monday everyone!!

Janie Yoga was really good yesterday especially after riding my bike. The BBQ was good too steak and baked potatoes and cheesecake for dessert. Now it is time to get back to some healthy eating.

Eunice Food in Australia is about the same as here. It is crazy isn't it how much they charge for things. If we lived closer to the US border we would most of our shopping down there. Too funny about your daughter trying to copy how you talk. I am looking forward to Cathe's new DVDs. Lower impact is something I like to do more now that I am older. You are like me in that we have been working out with Cathe for so long it is hard to do anyone else. Good job on PUB and Rhythmic Step. The bicep work in PUB always gets me good.

Pam Yep they won for my birthday. They only have to win one more game and they are off to the Stanley Cup finals. They play again tomorrow so hopefully they can wrap it up then. It is our long weekend today. It is so nice not to have to go into work. Long weekends are always nice. Are you doing anything special for yours? Your shoulder has been giving you problems off and on for a while now. Have you gone in to have it checked out. It would be fustrating to not be able to workout as hard as you would like because of it. Your waterskiing and picnic sound wonderful.

Julie So nice to have a bedroom again and not having to sleep in the living room. It will feel so good once everything is done. Those 1-legged pikes are insane I have a hard enough time doing the 2-legged version. Once you have ridden a bike you don't forget. The Canucks did win and it felt soooo good. I am enjoying my long weekend and my birthday. I really don't want to go back to work tomorrow.

This morning I did Butts and Guts. My thighs and butt are really feeling it right now. So now I am just bumming around and relaxing.

Have a great Tuesday everyone.

Cheryl

Julie You are really coming along with your house, I bet you can hardly wait to move back into your bedroom! It will feel like you have a new house and so much more space! Great job on AS and stability ball abs. I know what you mean about those 1-legged pikes. I think it must be a camera trick :p No one can really do those things can they?! I don't even try because I'm afraid I will fall on my face. I stick to the 2-legged, those are hard enough for me! And don't get me started on those extended leg levitation holds! I did that one the other day and did notice that they don't show anyone else doing those. Also the person who is right behind Cathe is having a hard time doing the regular levitation holds so that made me feel better too! I've only gotten my legs off the ground once for a few seconds and that was apparently a fluke!
My glutes are *almost* back to normal today after Fridays wo! I could hardly bend over all weekend though. Every time I had to pick something up off the floor I had to do it VERY CAREFULLY! DH couldn't believe it, he's always asking me why I do that to myself! I'm with you on the shoulders, I had to drop the weights down on them pretty consistently when I did STS before too. I was wondering if I should be cutting the weight in half to allow for 2 dumbbells and had perhaps put the total weight in for the 1 RM??

Cheryl Glad to hear you had such a nice birthday. I just love a steak and baked potato! I would much rather have cheesecake than regular cake any day too. YUM!
Good luck to your Canucks tonight!
For our Memorial day weekend we have an annual tradition of calling it 'ski your brains out weekend' where we spend as much time skiing as possible. We are going to do it a little differently though because our friends also invited us to their beach house. Since we don't want to mess with tradition our current plan is to ski Friday night and Saturday morning. Then drive to the beach, spend the night and the first half of Sunday there and then come home and ski Sunday evening and Monday. We'll see how that works out
I haven't had my shoulder checked out. I really don't have any pain in it at all and only notice it when I am trying to lift or do pushups. It seems to do this every once in awhile and then goes away so I'll have it looked at if it starts to bother me.
Great job on B&G! How's the toilet test going today! I had to laugh when you said you were 'bumming' around after Butts and Guts!

Janie Oh no! So sorry to hear that you have a sore throat! I hope it doesn't last long or turn into anything more!!!! {{Hugs}} feel better soon!

Cyndi Did we lose you????
Hi Eunice!

This morning for me was 30/30 and pilates based abs. I think that was only the second time I have ever done the pilates abs. It seems to be quite a bit easier than some of the other ab circuits with no crazy levitations or 1-legged pikes! I looked ahead and saw that CCC is up on Thursday though so I better start psyching myself up! Happy Tuesday everyone!

Pam

Last night I did STS M1W4 Chest, Shoulders, and Biceps and I am happy to say I did all the pushups on my toes except the staggered ones (what’s up with those!). This morning was Rhythmic Step!! So much fun but it’s hard to remember the moves when you are still kind of sleepy!

Cheryl Great job on Butts & Guts and excellent choice for a day off! Hopefully you didn’t find it too hard to go to work today after such a long weekend. Yes I am really looking forward to being back in my bedroom again. We won’t be completely done remodeling even with being back in our bedroom but close. Every day we get a little closer and it is so nice to see things finally getting done.

Janie Hope your throat is feeling better today. Wow, web development is tough and time consuming for sure. I have only done a little with that for school projects. Good luck with it!

Pam Great job on 30/30 and pilates abs! I liked the pilates abs. I was worried it would involve crazy moves like some of the other workouts but it was pretty tame so that was a relief! I am not sure about cutting the weight in half for the 1RM. The tutorial says to put the total weight for 1 dumbbell in but I can’t believe I am so far off. I wonder if it has to do with the fact that shoulders are used so much with pushups and chest flys and so my endurance level on the shoulders can’t keep up. I guess I will see when I get to Meso 2 how far off I am on shoulders. I am guessing I will have to go down but hopefully not as much as I have been! Doesn’t it seem like leg DOMS take so much longer to work out? Makes me nervous about having leg day on Wednesday during Meso 2 & 3.

Have a wonderful Tuesday!

My fault (soar throat) for not getting the neti pot out sooner. But so far just a soar throat. Yesterday was of course TBS, abs and stretching. Today I visited my other neighbor that I haven't visited for years. We were at odds, but working and maintaining our friendship. She told me that the dog I call Baby is really Rosie, the big huge gray one is Boo, and the male barking dog in Russel. Maybe they will respond even better now once I call them by their real names.

Been taking advice from you and others about trying to sell my jewelry. I now have a site to go to. I still don't know if it works or not, but if you can try to go there and see if you can get on it, I would appreciate it so much. I try to contact them with questions, but I'm not getting anywhere with that. Here it is: http://paperbeadjewelry.webs.com/

let me know what you think. I still need to put contents under each picture in the gallery, but it's getting there. It will take 3-6 weeks to get on Google or other places like that. I'm signed in and can't wait for this to happen.

Pam, Great job on 30/30 and pilates abs. Glad your shoulder is much better.

Julie, Great job on STS Chest, Shoulders, and Biceps. Yea! You did all the pushups on your toes. Congratulations! Very good job on RS too, yes it is sooooooo much fun.

Have a good evening everyone,

Janie

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't come to to report but its been a little hectic I have Stacy sick and Rachel going to a Camp so I was getting everything ready for the camp and the day just went by to fast, I just got back from dropping her of to school, I still did my workout yesterday I did Kick Max and the BBW from February rotation, took Sam out for a good walk we got some sprinkling it was nice so today I have Stacy's home and I can get a doctor appointment till next week, that just make me mad so anyways I'm going to workout right now I have Low impact circuit, Cheryl my biceps still sore from PUB wow! I cannot believe, then that day I did extra set of drop off set for my back so my back its sore too, and now my legs from the walking lunges and BBW!!! its a good sore so now out to keep working then watching over a little sick girl and talking to a dog that cry when he wants to go out, he got used to go every morning so now he cry if I don't take him!
So have a good day and I'll be back to check in better!

Jaine I hope your throat is feeling better. Nice that you finally know the dogs real names. Maybe Russel will start being friendlier now that you can call him by his real name. Your website looks good. It is a lot of work to get it all set up.

Pam I agree that cheesecake is much better than regular cake. I am watching the Canuck game right now. The game is now tied 1-1 in the second. I really want them to put the Sharks away tonight. It would be too stressful going to another game. I like your Memorial Day weekend plans, you are going to be really busy. I hope it all works out for you. I passed the toilet test but barely. Too funny I didn't realize that I said that I was bumming around after Butts and Guts. I think that the pilates based abs are easier than some of the other ones two. Good job on 30/30.

Julie Way to go doing all the push ups on your toes except for the staggered ones. That is really good. I did find it hard to go to work today, the weekends go by too fast even if it was three days. Remodeling is a lot of work but the payoff is when it is all done and your place looks so good.

Eunice I hope that Stacy feels better soon. My biceps are always sore after PUB, but that lets you know that you worked hard. Good job on your workouts, it is harder getting it done when you have someone home sick.

Cyndi I hope you had a nice weekend. Check in when you can.

It was tough to get up for a workout this morning. Will try again tomorrow.

Have a great Wednesday.

Cheryl

Pam So Cancun trip was on January wow! that's a while ago, I love the idea of your guys anniversary going back where you guys got married, that is so sweet!:D Oh you really know how to have fun, picnic sound so good and fun !!! DH and I were thinking that we are a couple of boring neighbors we never do anything like hanging with them or doing BBQ or anything like that:eek: We are one and a half hour away from Melbourne but when we get lost it took us longer to get where we want to go. We get extra money, but believe me still expensive we get refund for gas, school fees, but some other items or trip we don't and the are mandatory so we have to pay for them and that's extra always extra for something. So do you like Tracy Staehle WO? I haven't try them only once I rented one from netflex and I didn't liked them that much. Amy Bento I haven't try either. When I did the Rythmic Step I was thinking that that one is one of your favorites ones, too funny I do still remember things about you! Oh we have the same shoulder problem it is on and off I got it checked out a while ago but apparently I don't have anything so I just stretch and get my shoulder warm and more stretch I think the problem its going to be there always:confused: You are so good with your workouts and going to ski just love the energy!! good job Pam..

Julie That's going to be excited when you finaly move in to your room, 2 1/2 years out of your own room its something I bet you can't wait!!! I'm with you about those one legged pikes I haven't even try I was able to do the regular pike but that only if I don't have sore legs, you know you have to flex your quads to be able to push your hips up and for some reason I can't keep my legs straight  so I do them with a little bent on my knees, wow where you live its a small town DH want to get retired and go live in one of this places far away from the city 400 people its small place. Good job with Athletic step I might do that one tomorrow, tomorrow I have 45 min of bicycle and I don't have one and I don't want to go to the gym.

Cheryl Nice that you got to enjoy a slice of cheesecake I wanted to bake one but I haven't, I have being baking to much, to often, :D So you go to US to do your shopping, we do most of our shopping online amazon has everything so I'm from there :D some other things we have to get them here no choice.... glad you got to enjoy your long weekend hard to go back huh? OMG Butts & Guts were on my calendar the past month at least once a week and sometimes with some other workout ouch!!! I was so glad when I finally did the last round of it, then when I get to see my reflection on the TV stand glass I see that I have to go lower ouch! ouch! but I like the idea of having mirrors so you push your self a little harder;) Cheryl what kind of game is that you are watching? I only know and watch soccer when Mexico get's to play, then I would get up early just to watch the game.

Pam to funny that you say that you have to be very careful when you bend to pick up something from the floor, I get the feeling that I'm doing more squats  Did you re do you 1 MR test? I did it last time I did STS and I wonder if I do another round I have to do it again!!!:p
Your memorial weekend plan sound really good, you are always busy doing something fun.... good for you!!! Good job with 30/30 and abs is this one where you do the mermaid move? I'm not crazy about that move I like better the yoga one. Good luck with CCC I notice that for me its getting easier now.;)

Janie Oh no! So sorry to hear that you have a sore throat! I hope it doesn't last long or turn into anything more!!!!feel better soon!

Julie Bravo! all the push ups on your toes that is really good!! I know what you mean working out early, early in the morning you forget the moves huh! But you should be so proud of your self!! At least in Meso 2-3 you get to have longer period of rest so I'm sure you are going to do great.

Janie I have to go to check out you website that is exciting! To funny but I find very difficult to remember peoples name how in this world I'm going to remember dogs name:confused: Here in Pucka on base I heard everyones calling every one by their name I'm NOT my neighbor was laughing because one day we were talking while waiting for our girls to finish their class we were talking about "that" me not being good with names and at the end of our little conversation I asked her "what your name?" she was laughing out loud, she say "yes Eunice your bad.

I just finished with Low impact circuit it was good Stacy its pretty good letting me workout, but right now when I finally get to sit down and play in the computer she is so "latosa" annoying I guess she is feeling better, she was hungry she had two quesadillas with ham:confused: last night she didn't finish her dinner she is being having stomach ache and yesterday I had to go and pick her up from school... Rachel its finally gone to her first camp I think I was more worried than she was, I couldn't sleep thinking if I had pack everything she need, when we got to school it was funny to see little girls with the huge luggage for only 3 days... DH would had have never let us pack that much.
Have a good night every one today its Wednesday here and still early.. See you guys latter!!!:p:D;)

This morning was HiiT 40/20 and Ab Circuits Medicine Ball. I like that ab workout but it is kind of short since the last half is a partner and I can’t really do that. Although I was tempted to wait until DH was home and ask him to be my partner!!! He would probably do it but not to get the workout in for himself just to help me out.

Today is a big day. I am leaving work very early to try to get some more things for the house and then I have 2 deliveries coming today. I’ll tell you more about them tomorrow. Got get working now!

Janie Great job on TBS, abs, and stretching! Especially with a sore throat. Hopefully it will get better soon and not worse. That’s cool that you now know the names of the dogs. It is possible they may start responding a little more that you know their names although my experience with dogs is that they will learn nicknames fairly quickly too. I was able to get to your website. I love the description you wrote up on the home page about the jewelry. I clicked around a little and saw some of the pieces you have for sale. Very nice layout!

Eunice Great job on Kick Max and the BBW! That BBW scares me a little but I am going to do that February rotation one of these days! So sorry Stacy is sick! I hope it is nothing too serious. Great job on LIC too! I love that one! The music is so much fun. :p I don’t mind living in a small town except for the fact that there isn’t much to look at! If we lived in a wooded area or near a lake or beach, I think it would be much more beautiful than corn fields! Hope Rachel is enjoying camp!

Cheryl Go Canucks!!!!!! That is so awesome that they made it to the Stanley Cup Finals! I bet you are so excited (as is most of Vancouver!). Now to see who they play: Bruins or Lightning? I wonder if the Bruins would be a bit better to play against but I bet the Lightning would make for an interesting series. We’ll see what happens!

Pam I’ll have to catch up with you tomorrow!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Julie Great job on Chest, Shoulders and Bis! Wow, all of those pushups on your toes is fantastic!!! Those staggered ones are killers aren't they?! Oh RS too! What fun!
I thought that the pilates abs was pretty tame too, which can sometimes be a good thing! Oh my yes the leg DOMS take so much longer to work out. I do recall that they weren't nearly as bad in mesos 2 and 3 as they are in meso 1 though. I was scared to death of the plyo leg workouts at first because of how bad the meso 1 DOMS are, but they are my favorite leg workouts.

Janie Take care of that throat and hopefully it won't get any worse. Great job doing your workouts anyway! Good for you for visiting your neighbor and trying to maintain that friendship too. I know it wasn't easy after all of the issues. It's nice to know the dogs real names now too!
Your website looks awesome, I can't wait to see how it goes. I wish you lots and lots of success!

Eunice Sorry to hear that Stacy is sick :( hope she feels better soon! I can't believe you can't get a Dr appt til next week!!! That is crazy! I know it was sad for you sending Rachel away to camp too, was she excited to go? I bet it will be a blast! Great job on Kick Max and the BBW and the walk with Sam too! How was LIC?
I do like Tracy Staehle but I have found that her workouts are more hit or miss. I got her High Intensity Step Mix and just loved it so I ordered High intensity step mix 2 and step sweatfest and I don't like either one of those very much. High Intensity Step mix is really fun though! It's tough but very fun. So you remembered that I love RS, did you also remember how much I love the 1 legged hops in IMAX2 ?! ;) I think everyone is tired of hearing that I hate those things! I wish we could trade in our bum shoulders. Mine was giving me problems this morning when I was doing some of the tricep work  Now I'm hoping it'll be ok for ski your brains out weekend! I didn't redo the 1 RM tests for this round of STS. What I used last time seems to be about right still. I guess that is probably not a good thing, I should be able to go heavier this time! Oh well... Yes the pilates abs is the one with the mermaid move and I don't like that one very much either! It sure looks a lot easier than it is. I have to keep reminding myself not to use my hand to push off the floor! I guess Stacy must be feeling somewhat better if she is eating quesadillas!

Cheryl CONGRATULATIONS! It looks like your Canucks are on to the final round!! Do you know who they will be playing yet? I can understand not being able to get up so early after a long weekend. I think the weekends are going by faster and faster no matter how long they are!

This morning for me was disc 5 back and triceps. I definitely like these better than the chest, shoulder and biceps discs. It was hard to get up because last night we went out for dinner and then went to see the Monty Python Spamalot musical. It was so silly but very funny. And the night before was girls night out so I had 2 late nights in a row. Better get to bed early tonight so I'll be rested up for CCC tomorrow!! Have a great Wednesday/Thursday everyone!

Pam

WE ARE GOING TO THE STANLEY CUP!!!!!!!!!

I really hope they win it this time......third time lucky??????

Eunice No we don't do our shopping in the States because the border is a little far away. I wish we were closer and could go and get some groceries and gas which is a lot cheaper. Butts and Guts is a killer isn't it. I am watching hockey right now. That is our game up here. I do watch a bit of soccer as well since we now have a team in the North American League. Sounds like Stacy is feeling better if she had two quesadillas. Good job on Low Impact Circut.

Julie I do the med ball abs when I am running short on time. I can't do the partner one either and I know I won't be able to get DH to do it with me. So exciting to be renovating your home. Fill us in tomorrow. It is awesome that they made it. We are watching the Bruins Lightning series right now and the Lightning are leading 5-4 near the end of the third.

Pam We don't know who the Canucks will be playing yet. Since the Lightning are leading right now it may go to another game. We don't mind that since it will give our players time to recoup. That Monty Python Spamalot would have been funny. Their movies were silly but funny. You are just a party girl, out late two nights in a row :D. I wish I could do that and still function the next day.

I did High Reps the upper body premix this morning. I was surprised that there wasn't any back work in it , They do back work in the full workout don't they?

Have a great Thursday.

Cheryl

Today was mammography and ultra sound on the right breast. I'm alright! It was as I suspected, scar tissue from the ex-plant and it also calcified around it. No problem. I'm so grateful that I'm this healthy. Everything so far can be turned around. All I have left now is the Sleep Apnea monitor. I pick that up on the 1st of June and they will give me instructions on how to use it. Whew! Yep, I have a nasty cold. It could have been from anywhere, who knows. It usually takes two weeks to get rid of it. So, slowly but surely for the next two weeks, will get back to normal, and ease into exercising once again.

Pam, This neighbor is not the ones with the dogs. She is a neighbor and lost touch for awhile, but now trying to get back into being good neighbors. She's proved to be a caring and thoughtful person. It's my pleasure to know her.:) Yes, once I see the dogs I'll call them by their own names now. It's great. Thanks for the encouragement on my site. I added more stuff.:) LOL Great job on disc 5 back and triceps. The musical sounds great, it's always nice to get out and about.

Julie, Great job on 40/20 and ab Circuit. Yes, I think it doesn't matter what I call them as long as they get attention.

Eunice, You don't have to remember dogs name. LOL:eek: You are so funny! I love your story about not remembering the persons name you were talking too. You are hilarious.:D I missed you around here. LOL Great job on LIC. I hope Stacy feels better soon. What a big step Rachel is taking for her first ever camp. She pack like me. LOL:D

Cheryl, Yeah, getting a website is a lot of work, but I'm having fun at it. I added more to it today. Tomorrow will add descriptions and the cost.

Have a good one everyone,

Janie

Julie Great job doing 40/20 and ab medicine ball I haven't done that one in a while I always pick ab no equipment.. Wow! so today is a big day for you how excited!! Let us know how everything goes. Oh don't be scare of this rotation, it hurts but you will like the results, pretty tough, that's for sure but it actually works pretty good I did the rotation twice and I loved it of course this rotation sack the energy out of your self, for me was week 2 and 3 then the last week gets better.

Pam Stacy went to school today she didn't wanted because she thought she was going to get tummy ache again:confused: so no way she needed to go back this week she didn't go but only 2 days to school. I think she is fine she wants a little attention she thinks that I don't care about her I only care about Sam she say"you don't care about me you only care about your boy wha, wha, wha... to funny!!! I do remember the 1 legged hops from IMAX2 and wish that maybe by now you like it better:p Oh boy this shoulders of us even DH its having trouble with his shoulder now, he always say to me "we are getting old" Good job with back and triceps.."party girl" I cannot do that, even when I party with DH ;) I have to go to bed early the next day, I guess after all he is right "I" are getting old, hahahaha!!! yes you better get a good night sleep for your workout.

Cheryl You are excited!!!!I hope they win for you! So now I know what games you are talking about hockey! I guess every place have theirs own game like over here they have Rugby and some other that I don't know, I know Rugby because DH got invited to play in the military team I haven't go to see any game yet! Good for you picking High Reps very weird that in the premixes don't have back work I'm pretty sure they do have in the full workout I haven't done that one in a while. Did you add the back work your self? I think you should had!

Janie What a relief that your mammography and ultra sound were good, glad that we are working to be as healthy as possible, now just one more thing for you, for how long do you have to be using the Sleep Apnea monitor? and what's for?:p I hope you get to feel better soon, I hate when I get sick and don't get to do what I like the most. Take care. Yes Stacy its better now she stay the entire day at school, woohoo!!! Awww my Rochel I hope she is doing good, the weather its pretty nasty and they are going to a camp close to the beach, its going to be cold!! Good to know that you miss me:D I was looking at your website it looks great, I hope you get to sell everything.

Well today I took Sam out because he cry when he doesn't go out and he really need to burn some energy so he wont be bitting the girls latter. He is so funny we go out he love to get wet so today I had to rinse him off, then put him in the garage while I'm working out he sleeps the whole time... So today I was supposed to do 45 min of bike, instead of that I did Circuit blast and Athletic step, took a good shower and went to get some groceries and now after this I have to cook dinner and do some cleaning,:mad: the cleaning its never over so what can I do. Have a good night and talk to you guys latter:D
