Julie It looks like our posts crossed yesterday! Great job on 40/20 and medicine ball abs. I do like that one too. I have done the partner part without a partner before and it kind've works. It would be better with a partner though for sure. How was your big day yesterday? i can't wait to hear about the mystery deliveries!

Cheryl Congratulations on making it to the Stanlye cups. Hopefully the third time will be the charm!
After my two nights out last night I fell asleep on the couch watching TV. That is my normal weeknight evening! :rolleyes: Great job on the high reps premix. That is weird that there is no back work in it. I think there is back work in the full work out, but I have only done that workout once so I really don't remember!

Janie Well you didn't have a fun day yesterday but it's great to have that behind you and know that there is nothing to be worried about. It will be interesting to see how the sleep apnea test goes. Sorry to hear about your nasty cold. I hate those things! All 3 kids came from their mom's house yesterday with colds errrrrrr I told them they better not give them to us! :p

Eunice Oh, I can see how Stacy would be jealous of the dog since she used to get that atttention that Sam is getting now! Funny! I am dealing with some of that jealousy at work right now too, not with a dog, with other people :rolleyes: Adult day care at it's finest! I don't think I will ever start liking those 1 legged hops any better, but I just plow though them counting down the sets until they are over! I'm always telling myself maybe I'll substitute something else but then I always just do them :rolleyes: My DH is always talking about how we're getting old too with our aches and pains. He gets little love handles and he used to be able to go out and play basketball for an hour and they'd be gone. Now he has to do that twice before they go away so it's like the end of the world :rolleyes:
I'm glad to hear that you got to take Same out. It sounds like he is a little bit spoiled! ;) I was thinking last week about how spoiled my cats are. I make the bed every morning before work but one morning my cat was all curled up on the bed asleep so I didn't make it before work so that I wouldn't disturb him :rolleyes: I didn't tell DH that, he would have given me a hard time for sure! WOW, Circuit blast and Athletic Step?! You must've been exhausted. Great job! You're right, the cleaning is never done!

Do any of you watch American Idol? I don't, but Scotty McCreery is from here so people around here have been going crazy over it. There was a big party at the big collesium last night to watch the final last night and that was all people were talking about on FB this morning. He was in town a couple of weeks ago and they had a parade and this all day event for him. It seems a little much! :rolleyes: Anyway, this morning for me was the dreaded CCC. It has gotten a little easier, but I still always fret until I get through that 4th round! Happy Thursday everyone!

Well yesterday I got a big delivery of a 5 foot by 8 foot mirror hung on the wall of my exercise room!!!! :eek: I’m so excited to be able to see my form when doing weight training now! Well, technically, I am not working out in that room yet but hopefully in the next week or so. We still have to put up some shelves and hang the TV. We also got a delivery of plywood and laminate flooring so this weekend, DH and I are going to build my aerobics floor in the exercise room!!!! :eek:

I also did STS Disc 11 Back and Triceps last night and did my most ever assisted chin-ups and pull-ups. :D It was a very awesome workout and I am feeling it today but doing Imax 3 this morning helped work out some of the soreness in my back. Tonight we are supposed to go to a ZZ Top and Lynrd Skynrd concert! We haven’t been to a concert in over 3 years (last time was Nickelback) so we are pretty excited! I am off work tomorrow for an extra long 4 day weekend. Most of it will be spent working on the house but I will try to check in at least once or twice. If not, know that I will back on Tuesday.

Pam Great job on disc 5 especially after 2 late nights! Yes you will need your rest for CCC. That one is tough to do with full energy levels let alone when you are still half asleep! I am with you on liking the back workouts better than chest. Not so much because of the chest and biceps part but more because of the shoulder part. I just think I am really weak in the shoulders and last night I had to decrease my pullover weight because it was straining my left shoulder joint! :mad: I hated that because then I feel my back is getting the short end of the stick and not able to work as hard. I am very much looking forward to Mesos 2 & 3 as I prefer that type of weightlifting over endurance type and now that I know the leg days won’t put me out of commission for the rest of the week, I am not as nervous about those! :)

Cheryl Great job on HR UB premix! I think there was a post about the upper body premix missing the back section. SNM responded that if you wanted to include back, then you should do the upper body first premix and skip the lower body portion going right to the stretch. I don’t think they explained why they did the UB only premix that way though. I forgot to check to see if the Eastern Conference has been settled between the Bruins and Lightning. I asked DH who the Canucks would have a better chance against and he said either since the Canucks are so good. :D

Janie That’s great news about the mammogram results! It is a blessing to be healthy and something I am thank God for every day. People think I am nuts for working out when I am not overweight and they still don’t get it when I tell them I do it to stay healthy not necessarily to look good. Colds do take forever to get over. :(

Eunice Great job on Circuit Blast and Athletic Step!! That’s quite a combo there. Most labs are quite energetic and need to run that energy out of themselves. They are so cute and bring so much joy to our lives though! Oh I feel the same way with cleaning and I don’t even have kids! Having 2 dogs does make for a constant amount of cleaning up because of dirt, slobber, and hair! :rolleyes: I was actually thinking of doing the Rock Bottom’s rotation after STS while I am waiting for the Low Impact Series. I’ll keep in mind that I will need to make sure I get plenty of sleep during that rotation though if sacks your energy level.

Pam Great job on CCC! I’m the same way; once you are done with Round 4, you are home free!!! I have never thought of doing the medicine ball partner abs without a partner. I may try that next time it comes up on the schedule.

Pam I know yesterdays was a crazy day, it went by to fast I only did the basic stuff around the house, I was tired but not that crazy tired like before, when I first did the February rotation after I was done with a double shot the only thing I would die to do was sitting and getting a big rest, I think I'm a lot better now, I only felt my legs like noodles.:p Stacy its funny when she say stuff like that I tell her that I'm going to give Sam away then she doesn't want that either yes I think so too he is a little spoiled, so she is fine.;) See, even your cat are spoiled :p too funny about you don't wanting to disturb your cat.. Really? Scotty its from your abouts? I watch the finale I was glad he won he looks really nice boy! Good job with CCC.

Julie Wow!!! congrats!! that sounds like a very AWESOME delivery! Love it, now I can't wait to see pictures of your exercise room. Good job with Disco 11 and Imax3, have fun at your concert and in your long week.;) Oh yeah this Lab its something very active and happy.

Well today I did PUB it was a good workout.... I started my day backward first I took the dog out, then clean the house, vacuum, mopping the floors, cleaning the girls room, then WORKOUT after that I just had a little time to go pick up the girls from school, Rachel got back today so I needed to be there. Now I'm getting ready to cook dinner.... have a great weekend everyone Happy today is Friday!!!:p

Oh boy, ZZ Top and Lynryd Skynryd sounds like so much fun! I hope you are enjoying your day off today! It sounds like we are similar on the weak shoulders. That is the one area that I consistently have to reduce my weights on. Grrrrrr....

Eunice I still can't believe you did that rock bottoms rotation twice! You really are a glutton for punishment! That's funny that you tease Stacy with giving Sam away! :p You are smart!! Yes, Scotty is from Garner, NC and everyone here seems to have just gone crazy over him. Clay Aiken is from here too, but I don't remember people going quite as wild. I don't know if I mentioned that they had a big parade and all day event the last time he was in town and he hadn't even won yet!
Great job on PUB and all of that house work, whew! Did Rachel have fun at camp?! I hope so!

So today for me was disc 6 legs. I don't think I will be as sore this week as I was last because last week I was ALREADY sore by now. I knew I was going to be in big trouble then! :rolleyes: We are hoping to ski after work tonight but right now we are having a thunderstorm :confused: I hope it clears up soon. Then tomorrow morning I will probably not get a workout in because we are going to get up and go ski early and then head to the beach for the night. Our current plan is to come back Sunday so we can ski Sunday and Monday, but if we are having too much fun we just might stay! You never know! If I don't get to post over the weekend I hope that everyone has a great one. Janie Please get well soon soon soon!

Today, much like Eunice, my day was backward too. I like to get my workout done first thing in the morning but since we stayed the night at my parents (they live close to where the concert was), we went grocery shopping in their town before heading home. Once we got home, we put up the TV, curtains, and some shelves in my exercise room and then some curtains in our bedroom. After that, I finally got to do STS disc 12 legs. I followed that up with the cardio only premix from Circuit Blast to get some cardio in. I know I will be feeling it tomorrow! :eek:

Janie It's ok to baby yourself when you are sick. Sometimes you need to do that. Keep doing what you got to do to feel better.

Eunice Great job on PUB! I am very excited about the mirror and can't wait to get working on the floor. I am really hoping to be able to share pictures with everyone next week. I hope Rachel enjoyed camp.

Pam Great job on STS legs! I never expected DOMS like I am getting with STS but I guess that tells me something is happening. Yes I will have a room dedicated to exercise. I am so excited about it and can't wait to share photos once it is done. The concert was good but the sound was off with ZZ Top and you couldn't hear the vocals very well but it was still fun. I hope you enjoy your ski your brains out weekend and get perfect weather for it.

Cheryl DH is watching the hockey game right now and I'm thinking you might be too!

Janie Hope you are feeling well soon. It has been so cold here that everyone is getting sick. I feel like I am fighting something off too.

Eunice Hockey is our game for sure. Every country does have their main sport. One of our neighbours is Austrailian and he play Aussie rules football. I didn't add the back work in. I should have but was running out of time. Wow you did both Circuit Blast and Athletic Step back to back :eek: good for you.

Pam We hope that this will be our year to win it. I have been watching them for the past 40 years and the last time they lost to the NY Rangers was heartbreaking. Ha you fall asleep on the couch too do ya. That is my normal weeknight and weekend thing too :D Enjoy your long weekend, I hope you get lots of skiing in.

Julie So exciting to have your own workout room. It does help to have a mirror so you can see your form. I have one in mine and it does help. Weird that back is included in the upper body premix first but not in just the upper body premix. Thanks for letting me know. Your DH is so nice saying that we would have a good chance against either Boston or Tampa Bay. Well Boston won last night so there is our competition. The first game doesn't start until Wednesday and the time is 5:00 our time. It will be a nightmare trying to get home since everyone will be leaving work early that day.

Today I did Lower Body Blast. I think I am like Janie and fighting a cold off. I have had no energy and last night I was in bed before 7 and I slept until 6 this morning. Then after getting groceries I had a nap on the couch. It is now official that we have had the worst April and May in 50 years. Maybe June will be nice.

Today I did 4DS Kickbox Cardio & Abs only and the Heavy Bag Bonus from MMA Boxing. I don't have a heavy bag so I just put on my 1/2 pound gloves and did it without the bag. Seemed to work and get my heart rate up a little. After that, DH and I started in on the aerobics floor in my exercise room. We had to cut up plywood and create a subfloor with foam cushioning underneath. Tomorrow we will be laying laminate flooring over the subfloor. :eek:

Cheryl Great job on Lower Body Blast! I am very excited about the mirror and my room as a whole. We are so close to being done I can hardly contain myself! I hope DH is right and the Bruins won't give the Canucks too much trouble. ;) DH will probably be watching although since we go to bed early, I doubt we see the whole game. I hope you are not coming down with something. :(

Pam I know I did it with 3 other girls so there was the support and the little extra push we need for those kind of workouts. I forgot to mention that Stacy loves Scotty she is so funny, she small ear to ear every time we teas her about Scotty. Yes Rachel had a great time she was so tired, will see what she saw when I get to develop the pictures she took. Great job with your leg workout, I hope you didn't get to sore for all the skiing you have for the long weekend. Have fun.

Julie I love this 4DS kickbox I like how Cathe work the core. I have the bag but its not hanging its just leaning on the wall that is almost like not having one. Ohhh you have a lot of work to do with your room, but I bet you are very happy and excited to do that job.
Yesterday I did step blast and core segment one from core max where Cathe does the levitation warm up, its a hard one I can lift my butt from the floor but not my legs, oh well. then we had breakfast for dinner. it was good.
Today is Sunday and I don't have anything but rest, actually last week I did workout 7 days :eek: and I got in 8 full workouts + core that was good. Tomorrow Monday I have Cardio and weights, we don't get to have a long week, so everything its normal here DH its working even Saturdays so its going to be a while till we will be able to do something fun. Today we were talking how in 3 more months its going to be our first year here. already:confused: that was fast..... so next year we are going to be getting excited about planning our trip back home, I know still a while but we can dream..

My disc 6 DOMS are nowhere near as bad as my disc 3 ones were, thankfully! I couldn't believe how long they lasted last week! I am looking forward to seeing those photos of your exercise room!

Cheryl I was thinking of you Friday night because we watched the end of the Bruins TB game. It was an exciting game! DH wasn't happy because he doesn't like the Bruins, so hopefully the Canucks will beat them for the cup!

Friday we had thunderstorms starting at about noon and it just poured rain all aft rr ion. We had decided that we weren't going to get to ski and went downstairs to do something, and when we came up at 6 it had stopped so we jumped in the car and went to the lake. we both skied the best that we have all season so far! Then we went out for dinner and watched the end of the hickey game. It was almost 11:30 by the the we got home and I was so tired! Saturday morning we got up and went to the lake at 7 am so no workout other than skiing for me. We got our ski in and were at the beach by noon. I did take a big walk on The beach at least AND I found the coolest shark tooth! It's only the second one I've ever found so I was very excited! We'll see what's in store for today! Eunice Those levitation holds are really hard. I am like you and can get my butt off the floor but that is about it. Enjoy Cardio and Weights tomorrow, that is a fun workout. Wow that 1st year did go by fast. Hopefully the second year goes by just as fast.

This morning I rode my bike to yoga and back. It was nice out so we got the car washed and cleaned out. Unfortunately the rain will be back tomorrow :(.
Yesterday was a lazy day. I know when I get tired and sleep a lot I need to just do nothing. Now I feel fine, well we will see about that once I have to get up for work :confused:.

Cheryl I will tell DH to cheer for the Canuck's, of course he doesn't usually listen to me :p The only problem I have with falling asleep on the couch is that sometimes I just don't want to get up and drag myself to bed! :rolleyes:
I'm glad to hear that your nice day was on the weekend. Great job on riding your bike to yoga again! It's not as hard to take when you are in the office working!

Yesterday I went for another long walk on the beach but no more shark's teeth. We hung out on the beach until about 2:00, then had lunch and headed back home to the lake. We got to the lake around 5:00, got our ski in and were home by 7:00. We got some great big steaks and cooked them on the grill for dinner. YUUUUMMMm! I'm not sure if we are going to make it to the lake today or not. It is in the mid 90's and DH was out trimming bushes in the heat all day and now he is exhausted. I've been doing laundry and doing a big clean on my stove and some shopping. I did get up and do disc 7 this morning but my shoulder is still causing me to drop down in weights :confused: I'll be out of town the next couple of days visiting customers so probably won't get to check in. Well I was going to do 4DS HIS but I woke up at 3am and fell back into a deep sleep. However I felt like crap when the alarm went off. I felt so tired all day long, it was really annoying. I will try again tomorrow, I don't think I get along with Monday mornings anymore. I heard from one of our neighbours that we had a bear roaming around our area around noon today. I was told he was quite big and was climbing over fences and sniffing around. Glad it wasn't when I was leaving for work.

Cheryl I did enjoy cardio and weights yesterday I did the weight double and the step workout I use 2 raiser in each side, it was good. Yes me too I want the second year goes by as fast as the first one. Sounds like a nice day for you riding your bike and doing yoga, I always tell my husband when washes the car that its going to rain I am just messing with him but sometime it does. Some times we need to have one of those days "lazy day" sounds good too I am the opposite as you if I don't get enough sleep I can think the next day I need my OMG I am counting right now how many hours I get to sleep I'm embarrassed I go to bed for the most time 9:30 read till 10-10:30 and get up at 7:00:eek::eek: almost 9 hours.

PamI hope you had fun doing all those house work, probable you are going to need to check your shoulder, maybe some PT can help you out but I know that bothers you having to dropped down your weight when what you are trying to do its gain some strength:( I know that has happen to me before and its not pretty beside the PT maybe its going to tell you to stop doing what you are currently doing and get better then build up again. Sorry I hope you feel better soon. Right now my husband its all taped off because of hes shoulder problem and he get very annoy by just not being able to lift heavy Monday he has an appointment with a specialist and see what he recommends.

Yesterday I did CW I repeated the wight workout I'm stubborn that way:D and today I did back, biceps and abs from Pure Streght..... yes you guessed right I did extra set for both back and biceps. I felt that the workout was very short and by the time I was done with it I burned 220 calories so then is when I added the extra sets. So after reading the article about nutrition I decided that I'm going to write down what ever I'm eating to see where is that I'm mistaking because I have hit the weight loss plateau and I don't even know how much calories I am taking, so I need to know that, something that caught my attentions about the side effects feeling cold all of the time, that's me sometimes I'm freezing:confused: and DH told me "grumpy too":confused: so I will try to record all my meals and see how many calories am eating and how much I'm supposed to be eating.I will post the link just in case anyone its interested in reading the article.

Wow, I’ve got a lot of catching up to do! On Sunday, DH and I worked for 12 straight hours on the house. We got the laminate floor in over the aerobics subfloor and then moved all of my equipment down into the room. Then we cleaned up our bedroom and moved our bed in there. It is so nice (and really weird) having our own bedroom again and a living room with so much more space. We still have some more work to do but it is little things like installing the last bit of trim, putting in a closet system, organizing, and cleaning. Here is a picture of my exercise room:

Eunice Great job on Step Blast (so much fun :D) and Core Max! I can only lift my butt off the ground during levitation holds too! Great job on CW and Pure Strength! You are amazing to repeat the weight work in both of those! That was an interesting article. Thanks for sharing! I can be really good at watching and recording everything I eat for several months and then I have a break down and go crazy for a few weeks. That is what has been happening the last couple of weeks :( so I think I am going to use June 1 as the push I need to get back on track!

Pam I think skiing counts as a workout! I have never skied before but I imagine you really work your entire body in order to keep yourself stable on the skis. That’s really cool that you found a shark’s tooth! Great job on disc 7 but sorry you had to drop your weight down on the shoulders. Hope your travels go well.

Cheryl Great job on your bike ride and yoga! I don’t even bother washing my car. DH always wants to and I tell him why bother, the rain will clean them off! :rolleyes: Lazy days are nice to have. I always try to get one in once a week just for my own sanity! Sorry about not being to get up yesterday morning. Monday mornings are not as hard for me as Wednesday mornings. I don’t know why that is. Hope you slept better Monday night.

Eunice Good for you to be able to do two risers for your step workout. I can't do that anymore unless it is low impact. Wow I am jealous that you can sleep for 9 hours. I get up at 4 am to workout, so I can usually get about 7 to 71/2 hours of sleep. Sometimes it isn't enough though. Well I was at work when the bear was roaming around. I still don't know how he got over to us in the middle of the afternoon. He would have had to cross lots of traffic and there would have been a lot of people out and about. We will take a picture if we ever spot him.

Janie Glad that you are feeling better. It does feel good to start exercising again. Don't worry I am aware of my surroundings when I am out. It sounds like we are really out in the boonies dosen't it with the bears. We are in a really densely populated area with about 6 20 story condos across the street from us, a couple of grocery stores about a block away and lots of restaurants and other businesses. But it is wilderness about a 5 minute drive away with a couple of lakes and hiking trails. We live in a very unique area. The bear that came around probably lives in the park that is about a 5 minute walk from us. I have seen him before from a distance when I was out walking.

Julie Wow what a nice workout room. Intensity, what a perfect workout to break it in. Wednesdays could be hard because you are halfway through the week and you are starting to get tired. Sometimes I try to take Wednesdays off for that reason, just to recharge.

This morning I didn't have a problem getting up and I did 4DS HIS. I am hoping I will feel as good tomorrow morning.

Julie Wow! First that was a lot of work that you put in your house, which its great you are working for your self and doing thing with your bare hands.... good for you!!! that is a very nice room, I love it and good choice with Intensity WO to break it in. And how nice it must feel to have your very own bedroom:D that is just great:) I know me too, so I hope I can stick to it this time. keeping track of my food to see where is that I'm falling.

Its sound like you live in a very good place with lots of people and cars moving, maybe he was hungry!! sneaky bear!:p Good job with 4DS HIS Not one of my favorites one I get so mixed up with the step so I don't do those 2 workouts to often (4DSLI)

Well today I didn't have time to workout :confused: After I took my girls to school I went to grocery shopping I can believe that it took me almost NO more that 2 hours to get it done, I had to go to a two diff stores to get the best prices last month I went over budget so this time I want to make sure I don't and even like that I think I'm going to need more money...:mad: $470.00 in groceries for two weeks, I hope... and I will need to get some more milk, bread, eggs latter on, you know those basic thing you have to have all of the time, so I'm pretty sure I will end up spending more.. after that putting everything away and running some other errands, I just got home and in a little bit I have to go pick up my daughter from the station and yary, yary, yary!! I didn't workout. Maybe tomorrow I will have double shot.:p

Oh I forgot to mention that my biceps and back are sore. yes!!!!!
