Strength in Numbers

This morning I got back on my normal schedule and did Ride. At one point during the warm up, Cathe says something like “your breathe is getting labored” but it sounds like “your breasts are getting labored” and I always smirk and think “I hope not!” So while my day started out good, on my way to my van pool, I ran over a bunny :( I was so upset, I gave myself a headache.

Cheryl Great job on Tabatacize premix 12! I hope your forum goes well and that you get to come home at a decent time.

Janie Great job n disc 5! Gotta love those strong days! The only thing that keeps me going is the feeling that my workouts help me deal with the stress. They help me get away for a minute and forget about everything else.

Pam Awesome on B&G! That had to really fire your glutes up especially after all those walking lunges yesterday. You would be amazed at my inability to count. With doing these Get Glutes workouts and not having someone count for me, I find I tend to skip 5 a lot. And then I have to think really hard on whether I actually did count 5 or not. I need Cede!

Pam Those planks and pikes are way too hard to do after the upper body work. I think a new copy of PUB is in order :D. Great job on Butts and Guts. I bet you are thankful for your nice soft chair at work.

Julie Too funny about what you think Cathe says in the warm up. I would be upset too if I ran over a bunny. I hope your day went better after that.

No workout for me today. It was such a long day but the forum went really well. I left home at 5:50am and got home at 6:10pm. I am just beat and can hardly wait to get to bed.

Julie I'm glad you were able to get home and back to your normal schedule. Great job on Ride, that is soo funny about Cathe's comment! Sorry about running over the bunny, that is just a terrible feeling, isn't it? A few weeks ago I hit a raccoon and I felt the same way. Sometimes there is just no avoiding it, but I know it doesn't make you feel any better about it. :(
Yep, my buns were talking to me yesterday, but they are feeling a LOT better today. That is funny about your counting. I usually try to count the rounds in AB and some of those workouts and often lose track of where I am too, but I attribute that to concentrating so hard on the workout...... :rolleyes: It would be nice to have a counter, wouldn't it? Altho I have noticed that Cede's count is off sometimes too.....

This morning was supposed to be Kickmax for me, but I don't have that one so I did KPC instead. The only problem was I forgot that meant more pikes! I did make it through all of them this time, although the last one was more like a 3/4 pike. Happy Friday everyone, I hope you all have a great weekend!

I was so tired today that I didn't workout. Our director knew we worked hard yesterday and let us go a bit early today. Even so I only had energy to crash on the couch and watch what I had PVR'd when I got home:eek:. Tomorrow will be better.

Cheryl, When you are that tired it's best not to workout. Have a wonderful evening of relaxation. Short & Sweet is a Yoga DVD by Travis Eliot. Some People think it's a good addition to his Ultimate Yogi series I bought consisting of 12 DVD's. Sorry about that, I thought I mentioned it before to you.

Today was PRS #1. Getting most of the steps down now. After that it was housework and then went out to get fruits and veges. Have a great weekend everyone.

Sorry about not posting since Thursday. Friday I ended up staying home because Thursday night Maggie was coughing and having trouble breathing. I took her to the vet and I think it is an infection. They put her on antibiotics and if she is not better by next Monday, they might biopsy her lymph nodes because they were swollen. Friday morning, I did get my Get Glutes workout in plus did DWP. Saturday I helped my mom clean her house in preparation for Thanksgiving then ran errands. Sunday I did Get Glutes. Then it was lazy day. This morning I did Imax 3. Just typing all that wore me out!

Cheryl That is one long day. No wonder you were beat. I would have wanted to go to bed as soon as I got home too. That was really nice that they let you go home a bit early. Great job on PRS1 and housework. Enjoy those veggies and fruit.

Pam I’ve noticed Cede’s count being off too but wondered if that was more because of editing than her. Great job on KPC subbed for KM! I think you can count the ¾ pike as a full since I was taught in school to round up.

It was a busy weekend for me. I took Saturday morning as my rest day since my husband was leaving for Belgium. So we had a lazy morning, had a. Nice breakfast and then I took him to the airport. Then I went to visit my sister at the hospital. She is still there, but they are. Saying so can go home 'soon'. Wear e hoping she will be out for Thanksgiving. Then I went shopping,came home and blew the leaves and then made brunch to take to my friends house on Sunday morning,the service for her husband was Sunday afternoon, so one of my other friends and I made brunch for her and all of her out of town guests. Then I went out and bought a baby shower gift, rushed home,a the lunch, changed and went to the service from 2-4. She had everyone over to her house afterwards for dinner and drinks. I got home at 6:30 and Ashley was home from school,so I sat and chatted with her for awhile and then went to bed. I slept from 8 pm to 7 am! I guess I was tired. I did get Flextrain plus bonus butt work done yesterday morning and this morning was X77 again. It seemed harder this time than the last time, but I was glad I had all that sleep. Is as of work today and spent the whole day running around, I had a. Hair appt at 10 and didn't get home til 5:30. I'm not quite sure how that happened,,,,,,hope everyone had a great day .

Pam, Short and Sweet look hard and are only like 30 min. but I still can't do much until my foot heals. It's just a matter of time. Then I'll be ready. Good job on resting Sat. Glad to here your sister can go home soon. I'm so sorry she is so so ill. You are so sweet to take care of your friend and give her brunch. Such a busy person you are! Glad you slept well and long. All those things are stressful. Great job on Flextrain and bonus butt yesterday and today for X77 again.

This morning I did Get Glutes and added on additional back work. I think Maggie is doing better which leads me to believe it is an infection not lymphoma. Last night she was acting more like herself! So glad this is a short week. Two days left to work.

Janie Great job on disc 4! I am glad you can do upper body with your foot. Keep resting that foot. Thanks for the hugs and prayers for Maggie. I think she got them because she is doing better.

Pam Wow you did have a busy weekend! Great job on getting in FT + BBW and X77-AMAZING! X10 slays me and I only do 3 segments not all 5. You are so nice making brunch for your friend. I bet you needed all that sleep after that long day. So glad you sister is doing better. I hope she can be out by Thanksgiving.

We had home made frozen yogurt tonight. It was so delicious!

This morning I did X52! Again that one slays me but I did take less breaks this time!! So glad this is the last day of work. I am ready for a 4 day weekend!

Janie Yum!! Homemade frozen yogurt sounds delicious.

Yesterday morning was to the max. I did the normal version,but I still had some energy left so I went ahead and I'd the 2 bonus tabatas. Then the bonus butt work. Afer that I was definitely spent! I'm supposed to be on vacation all week,,but I have a lot of work to get done, so I worked until about 2 and then made the desserts for Thaksgiving,this morning was MMA boxing plus 300 walking lunges. I didn't break them up as much this time, but still had to take several breaks. Have a great day,

Made chocolate ice cream made from milk kefir and 100% coacoa and less sugar. It's really good, but still a lot of calories. Must only enjoy 1/2 cup.

I have been fighting off a cold since Sunday. I have been really tired so I haven't worked out except for yoga on Sunday but I am ready to start again tomorrow.

Will be continuing tomorrow (Monday) with STS. Then on opposite days will do Ultimate Yogi for my cardio. Can't wait. If my sore foot will allow me. It's time to try, is all I have to say.

Cheryl, How are you feeling with a darn nasty cold? I too haven't done any exercises and will be tomorrow as well.

Cheryl Thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes. We ate and ate and ate and ate. No Black Friday shopping for me, I prefer to stay far away from the stores on that day! Sorry to hear about your cold, I hope you are feeling better.

I think it was Butts and Gutts for me on Thanksgiving morning,the STS Total Body on Friday. I didn't read the part about only doing the upper body portion, so I did the whole thing. I took Saturday as my rest day and then Sunday morning I did Tracy Staehle High Intensity Step mix. It was supposed to be disc 5 legs but since I did legs on Friday I decided it was a free selection day! This morning was Tabatacise. I wasn't sure I was going to make it all the way through, but I managed. We had Thanksgiving dinner Wednesday night with Doug's sisters family, another Thanksgiving Thursday with her family and my family and a birthday dinner for Doug on Saturday night. Now it's time for salads! My sister got out of the hospital on Wednesday but wasn't feeling well enough to come on Thursday, but by Friday she was finally starting to feel better. My mom doesn't like turkey so I made them a chicken pot pie and took it over. We spent yesterday getting the tree up and getting the house decorated for Christmas. Whew, that was exhausting. I hope everyone had a great weekend!
