Questions for Lift, Move & Restore 2 Elevated - Questions??

Another point ... Cathe's details of her workouts are expected to change as it evolves... as to the specific exercises, the flow of them, the bonuses, etc. But as far as my recollection, never as far as the intensity level, until LMR1. That was the surprise and disappointment for me. And that was a big deal. If it had been at an intermediate level that would have been alright. I guess I did lose trust in her claims in her promotions, making this preorder more arduous for me. I wish it wasn't this way, but it is.
My sentiments are the same. I lost trust as a result of the way LMR1 was sold in its pre-sale and the way its final product ended up being. I don't think I've ever debated with myself about ordering Cathe as I've done this time around. I may still take advantage of the pre-sale of LMR2, but not without reservations.

Just remember, if you order now, and find out as more info, clips, even pictures are
released, and you find it’s not what you need, you can always cancel, unless that has
changed with this preorder. Now, let me say in no way am I promoting or encouraging
cancelled orders, in fact I have not cancelled a preorder ever, except the Boss Loops
& Bands bundle, I originally ordered everything and then decided to get only the dvds,
without the bands/loops, so not totally a cancellation. I eventually got the loops & the
longer bands which I love, at a good price. I just like to get the preorder price,
but with this presale tier ending so quickly, and the lack of & vague information, I just
decided to go with it & see what shows up as we go. Usually in the past, the prices
don’t jump too high after the first presale price & I might have waited, but my questions
on whether the presale ends completely, or if the downloads won’t be offered after
the 31st, I kinda’ felt backed into a corner…

Yeah, the reservations and trepidation really detracts from the typical excitement of a pre-sale. I find this experience sad :( . But as aquagirl reminds us, we could cancel down the road. But I find that sad too.
I agree. I am not as excited about this pre-sale because no matter how much more challenging this release will be, it seems to be the same program we just got. I count on Cathe not only delivering her high quality workouts but workouts that are both challenging and varied in nature. I really was hoping for something more cardio based like Gloved Up or P30 hiits.

I was surprised that she offered another LMR so soon. Really, only a matter of a few months since I received the last one. So I haven't had any time to see how, if at all, it fits into my rotations. That timing, along with the initial disappointment with LMR, plays a role in my indecision. She clearly believes in this program for active aging. I don't know how, if at all, I would use it. I don't have the problems she lists. I think I don't have those problems because I do challenging workouts. So switching to easier workouts feels wrong.

You know, I have been sitting here thinking about this, and I think it would be neat if
she would pick an exercise and do a short little video showing what being “elevated “
is, & at the same time show how it could be modified down. I am on the other end of the spectrum, most are hoping for a lot more challenging, while I am hoping not so much,
or at least a good modification to do & work up to it, if you want & can. I know they
certainly don’t want to disclose what’s in the workouts, but a good example of how it
will work wouldn’t hurt, IMO.

Here's my current thinking. I'm hoping Core & Flexibility will have multiple 10-20 minute timesaver premixes so I could use them as add-ons. Same as for the Balance Fusion & Mobility dvds - I doubt i would do any of those 3 as "stand-alone" workouts very often. Altho I thought I'd like a Barre Bootcamp, I cannot get a good workout from LMR1 Barre Fusion, so that workout is a no-go for me currently (I can hope I'm wrong, but I'm not counting it in). The 4 30-minute cardio workouts are still questionable as to their intensity - I'm hoping there are at least 2/4 that I'd be happy to put in my rotations. I no longer consider the bonus heavy-weight downloads cuz we have no info as to their split format, length, chaptering, etc. - so they're out of the equation for me right now. The 3 Fn Weight workouts are questionable for me - I might like them, I might not.

Sooo... a bunch of timesavers (at least I hope), and a bunch of IDK.

I think the key is the word "challenging". This is different for each of us. I think switching to something easy on a regular basis would be a disservice to ourselves. Right now, I'm fortunate in being able to challenge myself more than what LMR1 offers. I read on other forums a number of people have the same concerns, so I'm not alone in my hesitation. We used to be able to count on Cathe to provide us with an entire series of challenging workouts. The balance challenges did that for me in LMR - it's good for that and mobility, and a few other things. And in the past, if Cathe said Bootcamp, I'd say here's my money. As for the details to specific exercises and flow, well I pay Cathe to figure that out.. But this time I'm more cautious.

So we just watched the Cathe LIVE clips from #530 -537 (the past 8 weeks of CL). Cathe said she's been trying out some new moves in class. There are familiar moves, however, there are some newer UB moves that will freshen things up some. There are also a number of those hold one arm in isolation while working the other shown quite a few times. Lots of compound moves - in fact most of the LB moves seen were compound moves with UB. There was a swing :) into a scarecrow. There was a gorilla/animal move in a cardio, but Cathe showed an easier option. Lots of core stuff, some traditional takes on crunches, some other stuff. So if you're interested you can go to YouTube and watch about 20 minutes off CL clips to see if you might like some of the new stuff being tried out in the CL class.

Here is my 2 cents to your thoughts above.

This is the reason most of us want DVD as they contain pre-made premixes. I am not a blender and I do not use On Demand.

Now for example The Step Boss series is the only one I do not own because it was mainly advertised as a cardio series. I did not follow up newsletters to dig pre-order info. When I look at the list of bonuses, I noticed those segments are interesting and fit into my workout regimen. So the bundle dvd the best option cause 6 out of 8 workout are on my "to do list" I own more than enough cardio workout. I can also do outdoor activities.

STEP BOSS DVD Workout Times
  • IMAX 4 45:26
  • Step Sync 56:14
  • PHA 3 54:43
  • Bonus Intermediate Step 21:27
  • Bonus Ab Stacker 9:30
  • Bonus Ab's #2 9:58
  • Bonus Chair Stretch 16:57
  • Bonus Lying Stretch 10:00

The decision is yours. You know what you need and enjoy.

Isn’t this the same video that some one posted earlier In the other thread forum admin posted earlier today? If not, I have already seen it. No
matter how many times I watch, it doesn’t change.
