Cheryl Glad to see you back. I'm glad to hear tha tyou are fine, but not that you were so tired last week. I hope you were able to get caught up over the weekend! Congratulations on getting the new workouts, I tihink you are going to really like them!
I hate it getting dark so early too! It always seems so much later than it is because of it and it's so depressing during the week to leave home in the dark and come home after work in the dark too!
I hate taking the cats to the vet. Sorry to hear about Tigger, although it sounds like it will be a little easier dealing with low potassium than diabetes. The liver issue sounds scary though, I hope that comes out ok. Janie, don't you have a diabetic kitty?
Your Sunday sounds like a frustrating day. Good thing you were able to start off with your yoga to help you relax through it! I went out shopping on Saturday and it was a mad house out there. Ick. I think I'll try to do as much online shopping as possible!
Julie Sounds like you had quite the busy day on Friday, but very productive! I love it when I feel like I've accomplished something at the end of a busy day! All I can say about your push ups is WOW! I'm so impressed! I got 16 1/2 this morning. I haven't made it past 17 yet but you are giving me hope!
Janie Great job onthe Intensity step pre-mix. It is so much fun but SOOO hard!
It's a good thing the holidays only come around once a year, otherwise I think I'd be a round ball
I'm actually usually pretty good about resisting sweets, but these cookies are a real weakness for me. I just need to learn not to have them in the house. The good news is that there is only 1 left
We did get the decorating
almost done so I will have to get some pictures. The tree still needs to be finished. DH had to go out of town and the kids weren't with us this weekend, so he put the tree up and then had to leave. I put the lights and some of the decorations on it, but it isn't much fun decorating the tree alone
. Then last night I was sitting in the kitchen looking at it and wondering how it got to be so far away from the window. That was when I noticed it had a big lean going on
YIKES! It looks like the leaning tower of pisa. I called DH and he told me to try to straighten it but as soon as I let go and went right back to the big lean. I was too embarrassed to call the neighbors to come help so I just went to bed with my fingers crossed. It looked about the same this morning so hopefully it will make it through the day and DH gets home tonight. You need 2 people to straighten/tighten it. Ay yi yi
Julie I felt the same way this morning, I just didn't want to get out of bed. I hit the snooze alarm a couple of times but then finally got up and got to my workouts. I'm like you, always so happy that I made myself get up and do it. I always have a hard time with pushups on days when I do weights too, and 19 on your toes is nothing to sneeze at so you should be proud of yourself!
This morning was 40/20 and weights and plates abs. My pushups were hard after all of that plank/plate work in W&P but I did get 16 1/2 on my toes so I was happy with that. We got some very sad news over the weekend. One of my girlfriends was just diagnosed with metastatic cancer in her hip, lung and sternum. It is so bad in her hip that she can't put any weight on it because her Dr is afraid it will break. This a week after news that another friend has cancer in his lung and kidney. His is somewhat better news as it is only stage 1 and they believe that they can take care of it with surgery alone and no chemo or radiation. So just a reminder my friends to be thankful for your good health and live each day to it's fullest since we never know what tomorrow may bring. On that downer note, I hope everyone has a good Monday.
Pam
