Lurkers Invitation For The Holidays

Janie: Skin cancer...ANY cancer...scares me. I'm glad this is very treatable and you both are on top of it.

Cheryl: I hope your cat(s) are okay. I will say that I got a mental image of you trying to get the pee sample...:D

Julie: Keep cranking out the pushups!

Pam: Pretty decorations!

I've only skimmed the last several days' posts (can you tell??). My workouts were nearly non-existent last week and only got workouts in on Tuesday and Wednesday. I started coming down with a cold Wednesday evening and, after not sleeping well, woke up with a pounding headache on Thursday. I was assigned to the autistic classroom on Thursday and Friday and was absolutely exhausted at the end of both of those days. I indulged in a martini Friday evening. :p

I went to visit my college daughter Saturday. She's really stressing over her nursing finals and hasn't been eating or sleeping well. I drove the 2 hours to cook and clean for her so she would have good food to eat while she studies these next few days. I made beef stew, spaghetti, home made chicken pot pie, a nice salad, mashed potatoes...her favorite comfort food...and mine;)... and a few burgers. I spent the night with her and came home yesterday. She's all set until she comes home on Thursday.

The cold I came down with has settled in my chest. Lots of coughing (mostly at night, of course). We got a few inches of snow Saturday evening and it's bitterly cold today so there's no school today. I am going to try to get back on the workout horse today and start Mesocycle 2 of STS. I am scheduled to work tomorrow, Wednesday and Friday, so I NEED to get good sleep and get my workouts done in the early a.m. this week.

We leave for Florida on Saturday morning, and I don't have a workout plan for our week away. Travel Fit? Maybe I'll go back to P90X for the week and just use the resistance bands.

I'm finished now. Helen

Goods news with Tigger, his kidneys are OK. Now we have to get his teeth cleaned and have one extracted. It could cost anywhere between $600 - $1,100......OUCH. Oh well it needs to be done. I will keep saving my pennies :D.

I didn't sleep well last night so I had no energy to workout this morning. I did do the step portion of Intensity this evening though. One day I will do the whole thing through.

Julie Good job on those push ups. I heard that the weather is awful in your part of the country. On the news they showed the roof of the covered stadium (I think it is in Minnesota) that collapsed because of all the snow. Our fur babies, we want to make sure that they are OK. It is better to rule out everything even if it is expensive.

Pam The middle of the night was not the best time for me, but I was glad that he did it. Although I couldn't get back to sleep after I had gotten up. The STS Total Body does go by fast. The only one I haven't done yet is the lower body one. Enjoy your ladies night out. Lucky you that you only have to work another 5 days. I am hoping that I only have to work another 7 and then I can get some time off.

Helen My kitties are OK. Yep I can imagine that mental image you have of me trying to get that pee too :D. Don't worry about not getting all of your workouts in. It is that time of the year where things can get really hectic. Look after yourself with you cold too. It is good to take some time off to recover and get better. A martini on Friday evening......that is what I did too. Great minds think alike. Travel Fit is what I take with me when I travel. It isn't a bad workout and it dosen't take up a lot of space.

Have a great Tuesday everyone.

Cheryl

Joey and I did the muscle conditioning in the Wedding Video using heavier weight. It was great. Lots of talk on floods on the news.

Cheryl, Great job on STS TB. Still haven't done that one. Maybe on Sat. Also good on that wonderful yoga practice. So glad Tigger is not seriously sick. Sure sounds like an awful lot of money to clean his teeth and extract one. Was it the tests that were so expensive. Jeesh! Great job on Intensity Step. Not an easy one by any means.

Julie, Great job on LM and my, 27! You are Wonder Woman! Stay warm and safe from that awful Winter weather. I'll get you my address as soon as I'm done posting. ;)

Pam, Great job on the STS leg workout and push up. I think you are doing great on them. Enjoy the Ladies night out.:D It's really nice to have that many days off before the New Year. Have Fun!

Helen, When Joey and I use to drink, martinis were our favorites. Wine was great during dinner. But, we decided for health reasons that we shouldn't indulge in that any longer. Joey only has one kidney and alcohol just isn't good for that. Sounds like Friday took a lot out of you. Rest. There's nothing like taking care of your children, no matter how old they are. Good for you. Take care of yourself with that awful cold. Travel fit would be good to take along to Florida. Have fun there, it's a really neat place to visit. Rich in history.

Have a great rest of the evening, see ya all tomorrow.

Janie

This morning was The Viper! I feel cool just saying that let alone having made it through it! When I previewed it, I thought “4 circuits, no problem” but by the middle of the 3rd circuit this morning I was pooped out! I did force myself to do pushups and did get 27 on my toes again.

Pam Great job on STS plyo legs and on pushups! I have no doubt you will be catching up to me on those pushups. You seem to be moving right along! Hope you had fun with your girls’ night out last night! Yes the weather was very icky on Sunday. I think Chicago got more snow and we got more sleet/snow mix. Think Spring! Think Spring! Think Spring!

Helen Sorry to hear you haven’t been feeling well! Colds, especially those darn chest colds, are annoying. It does always seem the coughing happens more when you are resting than being active which is weird. That was very nice of you to help your daughter out especially with not feeling well. Try to rest up and get your strength back. Enjoy your trip to Florida (lucky duck!) and try not to think of the rest of us up North freezing our fanny’s off!

Cheryl Great job on Intensity step! Doing some is better than none is my motto! Great news on Tigger. Well at least that he seems to be in good health, not that you have to pay an arm and a leg for his teeth. Still haven’t heard from the vet on Oscar. Maybe today. If not, I will be calling them tomorrow. Yes the weather was horrible on Sunday. Wind, freezing temps, sleet, and snow! The joys of living in the Midwest!

Janie Great job on muscle conditioning with heavy weights! Hope the floods are not near you! My house flooded 2 years ago and we still are not all fixed up. It is bitterly cold here right now. Doing my best to stay warm. Lots of blankets, sweaters, and extra warm socks for me! Probably won’t get your card in the mail until later this week or the weekend.

Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone!!

Helen Sorry to hear about your cold. Winter colds are the worst! I didn't have any martinis on Friday but did indulge in some red wine  Where is your daughter going to college? That was really nice of you to go and help her out so that so can focus on her finals. The best thing about winter in my opinion is the comfort food! You made a lot of my favorites!
A week in Florida sounds nice but I sure hope it warms up down there before you go. Some parts have been getting freezing weather too :( I have still never done travel fit but I have heard good things about it. Resistance bands definitely seem like the way to go.

Cheryl So glad to hear that Tiggers kidneys are ok! OUCH is right on those vet bills though, wow! The step portion of intensity is the hardest part. Even though she does Hiits after that, they are not as tough as her other hiit workouts and the last part is low impact Hiit which is really nice. Getting through the step portion is definitely something to be proud of!
I like Lower Body Blast a lot. I do end up screaming at her for all of the elevated and stationary lunges though, ouch! I hope you do get to take some time off over the holidays.

Janie Great job on the wedding video with heavy weights! I hope the floods aren't anywhere near you. There is sure some crazy weather right now!

Julie I love that entire disc with the viper. I can never remember which one is which those, but they are great names! You are continuing to amaze with those push ups too. I got 21 this morning so I was pretty happy about that. I am with you on the thoughts of spring. The warm weather can't come fast enough in my opinion!

This morning was step blast for me and it was, of course, a blast! Then I did my push ups, 21 on my toes and will probably try to get some abs in tonight. Ladies night out last night was so nice and very special because my friend who was just diagnosed with horrible cancer news came! She has to be in a wheelchair because the Dr is afraid that if she puts any weight on her hip it may break, so her husband brought her and then he and one of the other husbands went for dinner next door. She also had the most amazing bags made for each of us. She has an artist friend and she described each of our personalities and favorite colors to her and she made us each a personalized bag. She hand painted a panel on the front and then had a descriptive saying and made the rest of the bag in our favorite colors. Very hard to describe, I'll have to take a picture and post what it says on it when I'm at home. She pulled each one out and read the description and had us guess whose bag it was and we guessed them all right. My other friend whose husband is battling cancer came also which was just wonderful too. He just had his first surgery on Thursday and has to have another surgery before the end of the year :( So once again, don't forget to hug your family and friends and tell them how much you love and appreciate them!
OK, now I'm trying to figure out how to end this on a more upbeat note. I can't, so I'll just say I hope that everyone has a great Tuesday!

Pam

P.S. Just had to edit that I am DEFINITELY feeling that plyo leg workout from yesterday! I don't quite fail the toilet test, but pretty darn close!!! Not sure why it didn't seem too bad at the time!

I did segments 2 and 3 from Stretch Max this morning. I was going to do the lower body workout when I got home from work but I was too tired. Work has been really busy and it won't let up any time soon.

Janie Are you getting lots of flooding in your area. The rain has been unbelivable, it just won't let up. But with the amount of rain we have had I am glad that it is rain and not snow, otherwise it would be up past the roof tops. Tigger won't have his teeth cleaned until January but most of the costs are with x-rays, pain killers and the anesthesia. I am waiting for the estimate that they have sent to us that really breaks it down.

Julie The Viper......I haven't done that one in years. Maybe I should dust it off and give it a try again. You are doing really well with the pushups. Hopefully you hear soon about Oscar. The weather back east has been really bad. I will take our rain over your weather any day. I am with you with wanting Spring.

Pam I am going to try Lower Body blast tomorrow morning. Hopefully I get a good nights sleep and have energy to do it. You are doing great on your pushups too. 21 on your toes is really good. It was nice that your friend could make it to your girls night out. You will have to take a picture of the bag she made for you.

Have a great Wednesday.

Cheryl

Did premix 4 blasts from Low Impact Circuit. A headband wringer. LOL:D It was great.

Julie, The Viper, Oh My! And 27 toe push up. Amazing. You are truly doing it girl. I am so proud of you! We are on higher ground, but the animals enclosure was ankle deep until it subsided. Jeesh! They didn't know what to do at first, poor things. I took Rolly out and the cats used the liter box in the house. No surprises or mishaps. Stay warm as you are with this Winter. It's a doozy this year.

Pam, We are on higher ground luckily. If it does flood it's not for long and only in the animals enclosure. Great job on Step Blast and the 21 push ups on your toes. You guys are amazing. I don't know how many I can do, but it's not nearly as many as you and Julie. What a dear friend you have to give you all that very special bag. I will hug my family just as soon as I see them and tell them how important they are to me. Those are called good DOMs from doing plyo legs. LOL:D

Cheryl, Great job on Stretch Max. Hope you get a break in your work soon. We are on higher ground, so we won't get flooded out, but our animals enclosure can get flooded for just awhile, until the rains subside a little.

See you all tomorrow,

Janie

Cheryl Oh I bet 2 sections of stretch max felt great! Good for you! Sorry to hear that work has been so busy for you :( Work has been kind've slow for me and I don't like that either. I like to be busy but it seems like there is no happy medium. It's either insane or boring  Although boring doesn't happen very often anymore.
I hope you were able to try LBB this morning. It's a good one, although the elevated lunges and static lunges seem to go on forever!

Janie Great job on another headband wringer workout!!
I hope your rain lets up soon, wow! That reminded me, how is Rolly doing? You haven't mentioned any accidents recently, does that mean things are going well? (Knock wood....)

Julie I suspect our posts will be crossing again this morning so will have to respond to your tomorrow  Any news yet on Oscar?

Helen I hope things are going well for you. If I remember, it sounded like you had a busy week in store.

This morning was pyramid lower body for me. Man, no breaks at all in this one! My glutes were still very sore from Monday's plyo legs so that just added to the fun! After that I did the ab work from KPC (love the abs in that one!) and my push ups. I was able to manage 22 1/2 (gotta count that half!) on my toes this morning so I was pretty happy. Hope everyone has a great Wednesday!

Pam

I had a super busy morning so I wasn’t able to check in until now. I did do Step Blast this morning. I just really have fun doing that one! I was also able to eek out 27 pushups again. I feel like I may be stuck at that number for awhile.

We did hear back from the vet on Oscar last night. Apparently there is a condition called polydipsia in which the symptom is excessive thirst and urination. She said that once the cycle starts, the dog basically becomes programmed to drink lots of water which induces frequent urination causing the body to think that it is getting dehydrated and cues the dog to drink more water. The treatment is to deprive the dog of water for 12 hours to try to reset the body’s hydration level. That is actually what they did when they kept him overnight and so far we haven’t had any issues. She did say that this can occur again and if it does we should try the water deprivation ourselves and let them know how it goes. We’ll see how it goes. I am glad it doesn’t seem to be anything major or expensive!

Pam Good job on PLB. Great job on those pushups too (especially that 1/2 one)! I see you are getting close to me now! Glad you enjoyed your ladies night out! That bag sounds like it would make a really neat gift. Your friend sounds like a creative person. I feel your pain in the rear literally. My booty is still hurting from butts & guts last Friday (well maybe from the Viper too) and I have Gym Style Legs this Friday!

Cheryl Ooooo! 2 segments of Stretch Max sounds absolutely delightful! I really need to stretch it out but have been really busy when I get home at night. Tonight is supposed to be less busy so maybe I can work something in. I hope things settle down for you at work so you can at least take some time off. Whenever we are really busy at work, I keep repeating “job security” to myself! I don’t know how much it helps though!

Janie Great job on headband wringer! Don’t you just love workouts that have you come out of feeling like a sweaty mess? I feel so accomplished after those. That’s good that you seem to be safe from the floods and won’t get damage. Glad that Rolly seems to be handling it well too with no accidents.

Should be back to normal morning posts tomorrow (hopefully)!

I did Lower Body Blast this morning. However since I didn't get out of bed early enough I did the Timesaver premix.

Janie Good job on the 4 blasts from Low Impact Circuit. I really like that workout. Glad to hear that you didn't get flooded out. Looking at the forecast the rain doesn't look like it is letting up any time soon.

Pam Yep those two sections of Stretch Max felt great. I like to be busy at work but this is crazy. I am being pulled in 10 different directions. I wanted to take this Friday off because I haven't got anything accomplished because we have been at the vet so much. However it looks like that isn't going to happen :(. It isn't fun when it is boring either. At least when you are busy the days go by really fast......sometimes too fast. Those elevated lunges are a killer. I really liked the workout though. Good job on the 22 1/2 pushups. You are right you gotta count the 1/2.

Julie Glad to hear that Oscar is doing better. I have never heard of polydipsia. I am glad that it is simple to fix. I find it hard to fit in the stretching too. I would like to do it at night but it doesn't always work out. Funny I used to repeat "job security" to myself now it is "only 5 more years to go I can do it!!!!"

Tomorrow night I am meeting some of my co-worker from my other office for drinks and appys so I don't know if I will be able to post.

Have a great Thursday and Friday everyone.

Cheryl

Julie Congrats on your Step Blast and those 27 pushups!
I'm glad that you finally have an answer on Oscar and that it seems like a relatively easy thing to deal with. It
ll probably be hard having to deprive him of water if he is wanting it though. Our cats are really pathetic when they need water in their bowl. We keep the bowl in the pantry and they sit in there until someone notices them.

Cheryl You're doing a great job of keeping up with workouts as much as possible despite being so crazy at work. Sometimes that can just sap all of your energy when it's nuts like that. I'm with you - I have 4 years til retirement and I just keep telling myself that 4 years isn't very long.
Sorry you aren't able to take tomorrow off. That is the worst trying to get everything done this time of year. And the malls and stores are a madhouse on the weekends.
I'm glad to hear that you liked LBB, hopefully you aren't sore today! Or at least not TOO sore!

Janie and Helen Hope you are doing well.

I failed to look ahead at my calendar this week so I was surprised last night to see KPC on the agenda when I had just done the abs from that one yesterday. I decided it was a good opportunity to sub in one of the new workouts, so I did Intensity. Love it! Workout manager says that KPC burns 75 more calories than intensity but I don't believe it! Then I did 23 pushups on my toes. That last one was hard, but I pulled it out! Trying to catch you Julie! ;) Our schools are closed today because it snowed last night. I'm not sure how much we got, but you can still see most of the grass in the front yard...I think they are worried about freezing rain though. We don't do very well around here with any snow or ice. I think it'll be a good day to work at home! Have a great Thursday everyone!

Pam

This morning I did Circuit Max. I must not have slept well last night because I was struggling through this one. It went by fast I just was really feeling it early in the workout! I did get my pushups in today but fell to 26 on my toes. I didn’t get any stretching in last night like I wanted to. I really need to make it a priority tonight as I am really feeling tight!

Cheryl Great job on LBB premix! I can’t wait to try that one. I haven’t even previewed it yet but really need to find time to do that too. So sorry you are getting pelted with never ending rain. We got another 3-4 inches of snow last night and it is still coming down this morning. Have fun with your drinks and appys!

Pam Congrats on Intensity and those 23 pushups! I told you would catch me! I had to LOL about your cats. I actually pictured this sad little kitty in the pantry just waiting! We got snow last night too but I think we are a little more used to getting it so things don’t close very often with snow. I’m sure in your area snow doesn’t happen very often so it would be a little more difficult to be prepared for it and used to dealing with it. Enjoy working from home!

Have a wonderful Thursday everyone!

Hello, ladies.

I'm here. Feeling a little like a failure these days. I haven't done a workout since Monday, my cold is better and never really became full blown (thankfully), so I'm planning to do 2 workouts today and try to get caught up. I'm still coughing a little bit, but nothing like I was afraid it would turn into.

It's been a busy week. I don't know why I can't seem to get with the program. I worked full time for 15 years and got up every single day at 5:00 a.m. to work out for the last 3 of those. I just can't seem to get that early a.m. workout mojo back! Now I work on an as needed basis, which has turned out to be nearly full time, and I can't seem to pull it together. I will have to re-commit to myself after the holidays and get a little selfish again.

We had a little ice storm last night. Enough to cancel school for me today, but not for our 8th grade daughter. Our oldest came home from college last night, but her car broke down about 35 miles from home. That was an adventure. It looks like the 1990 Toyota has finally bitten the dust. :( Our son will be traveling home today, weather permitting. I'm scheduled to work tomorrow and then we'll leave for Florida in the early morning hours on Saturday. I'm sure I'll have no trouble getting up early for that!!! :p I just hope it warms up a little bit down there, although the kids say they're going to do a Polar Plunge in the Gulf regardless of the temperature. I told them I'd be on camera duty.

I'll bring along Travel Fit and some of the Shock Cardio workouts that don't require any equipment. That should do the trick...as long as I do the workouts!

Julie and Pam: Congratulations on your push up success! And, Julie, I'm glad to hear that Oscar's issues are reasonably simple to deal with. Pam, your friend sounds like a very special person. :)

Janie: I hope the weather improves for you.

Cheryl: I hope you had a nice night out!

If I'm going to do 2 workouts, I need to get moving. I'm planning back-to-to back Disc 14 Legs and Disc 15 Back & Biceps. I'll let you know how it goes, assuming I'm able to type!

Have a good day, all, and stay warm and dry! :) Helen

From the Basic Step and Body Fusion DVD, Joey and I did all of the add on's. Upper, Lower body and Stability Abs. We used heavier weight.

Hmmmm, I really thought I posted yesterday.

Pam, Rolly has been a perfect gentleman. No accidents, he will wait to go outside even when his area is flooded. Such a good boy. When it does get flooded I take him to an area and he goes. It was so cute, He'd run outside only to be met with flood, then back in the house again, then outside, looked it over and came back inside. Did this a couple more times when I decided that he really had to go and then took him in another area outside to do his business. My little sweety pie.:)

Great job on PLB and ab work. And the 22.5 push ups. Way to Go! Also a great job on Intensity as well. Yeah! And 23 push ups on your toes. Waly to go again.

Julie, Great job on Step Blast. And the 27 push ups. YEAH! You and Pam are fantastic! Also great job on CM and 26 toe push ups. Don't worry about that last one, you did an amazing job.

I've never heard of polydipsia. Very strange. So glad you found out about it, it's also (for my cat anyway) the same symptoms as diabetic. So glad it's not that. Seems so simple to stop it.:)

Cheryl, Great job on LBB premix. Good for you. Rain for us is normal during this time, but man, I think there might be more of it. Still, it floods in certain areas is no surprise.

Helen, Do I have your address to send you a card? Glad to see you are better and back into exercising. Yeah! It's not being selfish when you workout. It's called taking care of Helen. That is Important. Have fun with your beautiful family and in Florida. Warm and nice there I'm sure. Have a great workout today.

Talk later,

Jaine

Just a quick check in...

I did back to back STS workouts today. First, I did Legs (14) and then immediately did Back & Biceps (15). I felt very strong from the first set of squats. I love the tri-sets where you start at 12 reps, then do 10, then do 8 for the same exercises. It makes things move along very quickly. I burned a total of 866 calories in the two workouts and am enjoying the toasty soreness that's setting in. :)

I have to work tomorrow and then we're gone for a week. Many blessings to all of you in the coming days!

:)Helen

This morning was Gym Style Legs. I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be a painful toilet day! I also got my pushups in and did 29 full on my toes plus 1 on my toes done super slow because I was running out of steam. So I guess that adds up to 30. ;) It is so weird that I can get more pushups in on leg only days. I also did a Stretch Max segment (on the ball) last night and it felt so good.

So last night when I got home from work, I was pulling into my driveway and got stuck. During the day, the snow plow had come through and piled up a bunch of snow at the end of the driveway. Since it is sort of dark and I wasn’t sure how high it was, I thought I could just barrel through it. Nope! I was stuck have in my driveway, half in the street. I tried reversing, forward, reverse, forward. Nothing worked. So I just left it there until DH got home and could help me (about 30 minutes later). Luckily our street isn’t very busy so I wasn’t worried about my car getting hit. It took DH about 20 minutes to get it unstuck by shoveling snow around my tires, pushing while I had the car in drive, and then just reverse, drive, reverse, drive.

I swear one of these days I am moving somewhere it never snows!!!

Helen Don’t worry about not getting all your workouts in. The holidays are especially hard to keep on track and sometimes I really think it does our body good to take it a little easier and just enjoy other aspects of life for a little while. I have no doubt that once the stress of the holidays is over, you will be right back to working out on a regular basis. Good job on working in a total body workout by combing 2 STS workouts! I hope you enjoy your Florida vacation! I am not jealous at all!

Janie Great job on Basic Step add-ons! Every time I see Joey worked out with you, I can’t help but tell my DH, “if Janie’s 72-year-old husband can work out, I bet my 36-year-old husband can too.” Still hasn’t worked to get him to want to work out with me. I will keep holding out hope. I put your card in the mail yesterday, so let me know if you don’t get it.

Happy Friday everyone! So ready for the weekend!!

Julie Sorry to hear your workout was a struggle yesterday. Mine was today as well. I knew 5 minutes in that it was going to be a long one! Glad to hear that it still went by fast for you. 26 pushups on your toes is great! I still haven't gotten that many once yet! I'm also glad to hear you got your stretching in last night, great job!
Yes my cats can be pretty pathetic. One of them hardly ever meows but when he does it is just the most pathetic sound you've ever heard. He pulls that one out when he wants someone to get up and give him treats! We don't get much snow and every time we do everything closes down. It was pretty pathetic yesterday though and there is absolutely nothing left on the ground but they still delayed schools for 2 hours this morning. It can be a little ridiculous sometimes.

Helen Good to hear from you. Don't beat yourself up though, you are definitely not a failure. It is hard to fit everything in, especially this time of year. I also think that it is harder if your routines isn't the same every day. I am in the routine of getting up early and doing my workout and going to work. When I have a week or 2 of vacation things get all messed up and it is HARD to get back into the routine. Congratulations on getting your 2 STS workouts in. Wow, I bet you will be feeling that for a couple of days :p
There is absolutely nothing selfish about working out, it is important for your health, happiness and (for me anyway) sanity!
I sure hope the weather cooperates for you when you are in Florida. Have a wonderful relaxing trip, enjoy the time with your family!

Janie Sounds like you and Joey had a fun workout yesterday with all those add ons, great job!
HOORAY HOORAY HOORAY, so glad to hear that Rolly is not having any more accidents! Good job on hanging in there with him and getting him through that. What a cutie!

Julie You better try not to drink too much today and tomorrow so you won't have to go to the bathroom very often! :p Hope those legs are ok, great job on the gym styles AND 30 pushups!! You better believe that counts as 30 and just when I thought I was catching up to you!
Sorry but I had to laugh at your story about getting stuck in your driveway!! I bet you were mad though!
I thought I had moved somewhere it never snows but it has already snowed 3 times this year! Of course they were all gone by the next day and everyone freaks out, but still.....

This morning was butts and guts for me, OUCH! This rotation is crazy this week with all this lower body work. My butt is so sore! I don't know what Cathe was thinking! 5 minutes into this my legs were already screaming! Today I will be cooking cooking cooking and I have to get at it. Tonight is our dinner party with the golf gang. I got started last night but it is getting late and I need to get busy. Have a great Friday everyone!

Pam

Joey went for his dermatology appointment and I did STS Total Body. Wow, that is a great workout. Oh, by the way, on the Christmas cards, I spelled cozy wrong. Sorry, You are either a great speller or not one at all. I'm the latter.

Helen, You did a really good job on planning your exercises and doing them. Good for you! 866 calories burned, is fantastic. Congratulations on that. Have fun during that week, will miss you.

Julie, Great job on Gym Style Legs. Whew, that's a tough one. And a great job also on 29 push ups and 1 supper slow one. Wow, you guys never cease to amaze me. I'm really glad to see you are doing stretches too. Good for you. Yes, snow isn't really that good with cars. Glad you got unstuck. one of these days, your honey will surprise you, and start working out. With all that info out there abut exercising and nutritjion, he'll come around.;)

Pam
, Yes, our Rolly truly is a great doggie. I'm convinced He was trained well to go potty in the bathroom. It took awhile to be untrained to do that, but he figured it out. I don't know for sure, but I think he is chihuahua and Jack Russel. He has a mind of his own, and he thinks through things, you can see it in his eyes spinning his wheels. He's smart! I love him more and more everyday. Coming up soon will be Molly's RIP day, Dec. 28. I think that's why I'm teary eyed lately. Then on Jan. 9th my Mom's RIP day. This one is a hard first year for those two lovely souls.

Great job on B&G. It is a tough workout, I think Cathe knows we are all getting nibbles here and there when we aren't suppose to. LOL!:D

Enjoy tonight's dinner party.

Have a great evening everyone.

Janie Was everything OK with Joey's dermatology appt? I hope so!
That STS total body is something isn't it?! I really like it! I got your your card, thank you so much! I didn't notice any misspelling either.
I bet you're right about Rolly - he was trying to do what he was trained to do. I'm glad to hear that he has been re-trained now. They do say that Jack Russels are very smart dogs.
Oh, {{{HUGS}}} on your tough anniversaries, I can certainly understand that making you teary eyed. This is a really difficult time of year for missing loved ones.

The dinner party was a success, we had a nice time as we always do with this group. They were here until 1 am and we slept until 8:30 this morning! I had to give myself a pep talk to get up and do my workout, but I did it and of course was happy that I did. It was 4DS bootcamp cardio only and LIC upper body sculpt. After that upper body workout I was only able to do 18 pushups on my toes. My upper body was fried! Now I need to go get some Christmas shopping done. Happy Saturday everyone!

Rest day for the next couple of days.

Pam, They froze more off Joey's skin yesterday. He has an appt. to get surgery done soon. Waiting for someone to make an appt. for him to do that at the office. Seems they have to do that for us. They forgot to do it last time, but was reminded by Joey. Darn them! I know this kind of cancer is not very serious, but still...

I loved STS Total Body, My Gosh! Will do it again soon.

I knew your party would be a success. How could it not be with a hostess such as yourself? :D

Great job on 4DS Bootcamp cardio only and LIC upper body. Doing any kind of push ups after a hard upper body workout, let alone 18, is amazing. Keep up the good work! Enjoy your shopping.
