Lurkers Invitation For The Holidays

I did the cardio"Get In Shape For Your Wedding". It was great to get back in the swing of things. Sweat fest for me today. I got a mini trampoline and will do an urban rebonunder workout tonight on it. I'm so excited about it. After that perhaps/maybe (depending how much energy I have) will do a stretch type yoga. I'm now enjoying a cup of steel cut oats, 2 eqq whites and some pomegranate. YUMMMY!:p

Pam, Great job on 4DS KickBox at Christmas Eve and the 24 push ups on your toes. Also great job for today on 4DS Bootcamp and 21 pushups on your toes. Wow, pure amazing to me.

Do stay warm and safe and also have fun in that snow and make a snowman. LOL:D Sounds like so much fun!

Not surprised the Malls are open, this is another one of their big days.

OOOOOh, chili sounds so yummy for dinner.

Talk again with everyone once they get back to normal.

Janie

Friday was MMA Kickbox, Saturday was all of Stretch Max instead of High Reps since I was really sore and today was yoga. Today I feel like I have been hit by a truck and the only alcohol I had yesterday was a glass of wine with dinner .

Pam Good job on 4DS Bootcamp and your pushups. Wow a snowstorm, we are having rain storms here. Do malls ever close now? For us it is Boxing Day here so all of the stores are having sales. I guess it is similar to your Black Friday where people stand in line all night hoping to get a good deal. Ummm I think I will sleep instead :D. Did you get to make your chili?

Janie That would be fun to have a mini trampoline, enjoy your urban rebounder workout. I did yoga today and it felt so good.

Tonight we are going over to one of our neighbors for dinner. We dogsit for them once in a while.

Julie, Helen I hope you had a great Christmas.

Happy Sunday.

Cheryl

Merry Christmas, all! We arrived home on Christmas Eve to 5" of snow after spending almost a week in the sun and sand. We get our share of snow in St. Louis, but a not so common white Christmas was the perfect way to cap off a perfect vacation.

I did a few light workouts last week (not counting the long walks on the beach every day) and ate and drank whatever I wanted in limited quantities. If it was served on the half-shell, baked, broiled, grilled, or sauteed, I ate it. If it was distilled, brewed, fermented, served over ice or straight up, I drank it. My husband and I spent a good part of the past week marveling at the terrific young adults our children are becoming and we had a wonderful time just being US. Our arms hurt a little from patting ourselves on the backs, too.

I'll be back to normal tomorrow as far as workouts and eating right are concerned.

I hope you (and all your pets) are doing well. Have a good evening. :D Helen

Ok I have been bad! Haven’t checked in since last Thursday! Not because I was busy or without internet access; just because I felt like being totally lazy! I did work out on Friday though. I did Imax 2 and 27 pushups on my toes. I took Christmas and Sunday off. It was kind of nice; but between not working out and the not-so-healthy food feast over the weekend, I was really feeling it this morning during Cardio Kicks and the Kick Max Blast Challenge (plus 27 pushups)!

Cheryl Great job on LBB! I previewed that one over the weekend and it looks like it is a goodie! Unfortunately, I do have to wait until Wednesday before getting another ultrasound. Not because of holidays but because the vet wanted to wait a week in between them. So far, we have not had any blood in his diaper and he is able to control himself during the day so he is only wearing the diaper at night. I am so happy for you that you have this week off work!!! It is going to feel so nice and so well deserved! Great job on MMA Kickbox and listening to your body and subbing Stretch Max for High Reps.

Janie Great job on the intermittent jobs on the TM! I haven’t been on the TM in ages and I am not sure if I miss it or not! Hope that lemon meringue pie was absolutely delicious! I think Oscar is doing better so I am guessing his lining is healing on his own. We will find out on Wednesday. Great job on your cardio workout and I hope you got your stretching in! Those mini trampoline’s sound neat. I hope you enjoy it!

Pam Great job on 4DS Kickbox and Bootcamp! I love both of those workouts! Six inches of snow! I am sure it has shut you down. We got 6” on Friday (on top of the snow we already had accumulated over the past couple weeks). I am just glad we didn’t get the 11-12” they were originally calling for or the 19” they got in NY this weekend! Chili sounds so good! I am going to make some this weekend for New Year’s. That is kind of a tradition for me and DH. Some people eat Sauerkraut; we eat chili!

Helen Glad you had a wonderful vacation and let yourself indulge without any guilt! Sounds like the perfect way to celebrate Christmas to me!!!

Have a wonderful Monday everyone!!

Good morning ladies! Nice to hear from everyone!

Janie Good job on your sweat fest with the wedding video! The mini trampoline sounds like so much fun! They are supposed to be easy on your joints too, aren't they? You will definitely have to give us the report!
DH and I did make a snowman, I'll try to post a picture when we get them uploaded. We tried to sled but it wasn't sliding snow at all, we were hardly moving.
Our malls and EVERYTHING usually closes if we get any snow at all, but I guess they didn't want to miss out on the after Christmas shoppers. I went out to the grocery store and there was hardly anyone on the road.

Cheryl Good for you with MMA kick box and your stretching and yoga. It sounds like you made the right decision stretching. I wonder why you were feeling so bad yesterday, strange. Hope you are feeling better today. I think you made the right decision to sleep instead of hitting the malls with the masses! I have gone Black Friday shopping the last 2 years because DHs family has been in town and it's a tradition for them. I usually avoid it at all costs!
I did get to make my chili and it was good! There were 6 of us and we finished off a recipe that said it served 10-12!
I hope you had a nice time at your neighbors last night!

Helen It sounds like you had a great vacation, so nice to hear! You deserve those pats on the back for raising those lovely young adults. It certainly isn't easy to do and you should be very proud! I loved your description of your vacation, it sounded wonderful!

Julie it's perfectly ok to be completely lazy sometimes, I think we all need to do it once in awhile! AND you still got some amazing workouts in. Imax2 and 27 pushups, awesome! And you had a great workout this morning too, great job!
I'm so glad to hear that Oscar has been doing better. I know what a huge worry that can be so hopefully his stomach lining is healing on it's own.
Yes this was quite a snowstorm for us. Everyone was disappointed that it wasn't here for Christmas as it would have been our first white Christmas in over 60 years. It was probably better though so it didn't mess up people's plans for getting together with families. I can't believe they got 19 inches in New York. What a mess all the airports are!
The chili was great, it was the perfect dinner for a snowy night.

This morning was Body Max and 24 pushups on my toes. I did the push ups right before starting the upper body segment of BM and of course the first segment is chest. It was so hard, and I have to admit that I skipped the push ups in that section since I had just done them. Now I'm trying to decide what to do with myself today, I'm thinking about cleaning out my closet...ugh. Maybe I'll work on my lamp instead  Have a great Monday everyone!

Pam

It was supposed to be Intensity this morning but I didn't have the energy for that so I did Low Max instead.

Helen Sounds like you had a great Christmas. Isn't that what vacations are for indulging? It is kinda nice to have a white Christmas too, it makes it feel more like Christmas.

Julie Don't worry I get lazy too. Sometimes after being on a computer all day at work I don't want to get on one at home. LBB is a good workout. You will really feel it in your butt :D. I am glad to hear that Oscar is doing better. Hopefully things will continue to improve. I am glad that I have this week off too. I really needed it.

Pam I think I am feeling crappy because of all of the food that I am not used to eating. It seems to be affecting me and I have no energy. I hate crowded malls. We went today just to check things out and I had no urge to stand in line to try something on or to pay for it for that matter. I have to go to Ottawa again in a couple of weeks and I am going a day early to get to Montreal for shopping. I think I will save my money for that. It must have been good chili if only 6 of you cleaned it up.

Have a great Monday everyone.

Cheryl

This morning I did High Step Training Advanced for the first time (and 27 pushups before I started). Those 1-arm tricep dips are crazy! I had to take a rest and then complete the set. Today’s workout was especially hard. Our house is very dusty and dry and it has been keeping me up with a slight cough and scratchy throat the last few nights. I am off work starting tomorrow through next Monday so I think I am going to try to get a lot of cleaning done over the next few days.

Pam Great job on Body Max and doing your pushups before starting the upper body portion! I will admit that when I do pushups and then pushups come up in the workout I am doing, I tend to go to my knees right away. I don’t blame you for totally skipping them in Body Max though; that is one long workout so I am sure skipping them didn’t make you lose anything from the workout!

Cheryl Great job on subbing Low Max for Intensity and listening to your body! I love Low Max because it is low impact but still gets those calories burned. I’m with you on the food affecting my workouts (that and the dry dusty house). While on one hand, I have enjoyed indulging a little over the holidays; on the other hand, I am so ready to get back to eating healthy and nutritious food so that I can actually make a valid attempt to keep up with Cathe and crew!

Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone!

Cheryl I think you were smart to do Low Max instead of intensity if you didn't have a lot of energy. You definitely need it for Intensity, but low max is a great workout too.
I bet you are right about the food. Our bodies have a way of letting us know when we aren't treating them well, and they do get used to certain types of food. This week we've been eating really light after all the indulgence over the weekend and it feels great. Of course there is more indulgence to come this weekend
To me the worst thing about the crowded malls is standing in a long line to pay for something. That just doesn't seem right to me. It sounds like you have a great plan going to Ottawa a day early to shop. Sounds like fun!

Julie Oh yea HSTA is one hard workout! I thought she was out of her mind the first time I tried to do those one arm tricep dips! Doesn't that one have some of the crazy hover squats and/or sit and stands too? ouch!

This morning was drill max premix 4 which is called lower body blast or something like that. it was tough! It was basically the regular drill max without any of the upper body segments but it was still an hour long. And I did 26 push ups on my toes this morning!! Maybe I will catch you yet Julie! :p Yesterday I cleaned out my closet. I hate that job, but it is so nice having it done. I have 3 bags of clothes to go to Goodwill and I threw out another 2 bags of stuff! Hooray! And I still had some time to work on my lamp. Last night we went to a champagne tasting at one of our local wine shops. It was really fun but of course we had to buy some champagne too  Now we will have to pick one for our New Years celebration. Not sure yet what is on the agenda for today. The attic really needs to be cleaned out, but I think I will leave that for a warmer day! Have a great Tuesday everyone! Julie, I'm glad to hear you are getting some time off too!

Pam

Boy, am I behind!

It sounds like everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I'm so glad because we all deserve it.

Yesterday; I did the Travel workout, and at night watching TV I did 30 min. of stair climbing. Didn't have the energy to do the yoga I wanted. Today; I'll do cardio twice. In a few hours I'll do Step Moves and at night around 8:00 I'll do an urban workout with the rebounder, compilation #3. At least that's my plan.

Compilation #3 for Intermediate to advanced

Kick Bound: Basics and Kicking

Interval Bond: As it says, Intervals

Hi-Lo: Again as it says. Instructor keeps saying good, but if you can ignore that, it's really a great workout, as are the others.

Latin Bound: A Latin dance flare, the instructor is funny, but fun.

Note: Until your muscles get acclimated your muscles will scream (ankles, calfs, and legs), but after a few times, there is no longer any of that. I love these workouts, it's different, which I need, and they work you strong. The 4 variety workouts are wonderful. If you are interested in getting other compilations, check out college videos. They tell you lots of info about it, plus how hard they are from beginners to advanced. Also Tracie Long has one out that I just love too. It's called G-Force.

Cheryl, Great job on Friday's MMA Kickbox, Sat. Stretch Max and today's yoga. It does feel real good to do one.:) Have a nice visit with your neighbor. Keep those trucks away from you! LOL:D Great job on LM today. That is not an easy workout.

Helen, From a sunny location to a snowy location. How fun is that? Enjoy! Sounds like you did good on keeping active and eating wonderful things on that marvelous vacation of yours. Wonderful!

Julie, I have those totally lazy days myself. One of them was yesterday. Great job on Friday's IMax 2 and your unbelievable 27 push ups on toes. Well done. And this mornings Cardio Kicks, the Kick Max Blast Challenge and another 27 push ups on toes. Good for you! So very glad that Oscar is doing better. Give him a happy pet for me. let us know how it goes on Wednesday. Great job on HSTA and the 27 push ups on toes. I love that one, but I have to modify!

Pam, Can't wait to see that snowman. When it snows here, that is one thing I try to do. You and your hubby playing in the snow its so cute. I would love stuff like that with my hubby. Great job on BM and 24 push ups on the toes. Sometimes modifying is key to prevent injury, a good choice. Do enjoy the rest of the day, whatever you decide to do.;) Great job on Drill Max premix 4 and the 26 push ups on toes. Drill Max is a challenge, well done. All that cleaning and champagne tasting and buying, sounds like your are getting a lot of things done and having fun too.;)

Have a really nice day today, see ya all later.

Janie

Did High Reps this morning.

Julie Those 1-arm tricep dips are crazy. They get me every time, but that workout is a really good one. Glad that you can take some time off too. Yuck cleaning, this is when it would be nice to have a housekeeper do it for you :). I did some today and will do some more tomorrow. I really notice now if I don't eat right, my workouts suffer and I really do feel off.

Pam Good for you to eat light after the weekend. We have been given a lot of food and I feel I have to eat it all . My body is now telling me to eat more veggies :D. There is a group of us who will be going early to Ottawa and then to Montreal for shopping. It should be fun and Montreal has more of the European fashions then we have here. I am just hoping that the snow stays away or we won't be driving to Montreal at all. I don't think I have done any of the premixes in Drill Max. Umm now I know to stay away from premix #4. I have to clean my closet too, I just haven't been too motivated to do it yet.

Janie You are keeping busy with your workouts. The rebounder sounds like fun. I used to have a stair climber too and I used to use it when I watched TV. I got rid of it several years ago because I was just getting a bit bored with it. I'll try to keep the trucks away from me :D.

Have a great Tuesday everyone.

Cheryl

Janie It sounds like you are doing great with your workouts! The rebounder sounds like a lot of fun.
We are trying to mix some work and some play into our holiday and it seems to be working out so far!

Cheryl How did High Reps go yesterday? Hopefully you aren't too sore today!
We've had soup and salad for dinner twice this week, but we are going to the beach for New Years Eve and we will be doing a lot of eating and drinking so I'm trying to prepare for that!
I think the worst Drill Max pre-mix is the double cardio one. I'm always so happy when I finish the cardio section with the ball, and then you get to do it all over again in that mix
I really wasn't motivated to clean my closet either, but I forced myself and of course now I'm so happy that it's done!

This morning was the original Boot Camp. When I first got that one I was doing it all the time because I loved it so much. I am kind've achy all over from this weeks other workouts though, so it was tough. Then I was only able to do 22 push ups on my toes after all the push ups in the workout. oh well. Have a great Wednesday everyone!

Pam

Today I decided to do Step Works. I wanted to do one that I hadn't done in a while. It was fun and I felt really good afterwards.

Pam High Reps was good and I am not too sore today. I do have problems with the bicep curls using the band. For some reason the new bands I had ordered from Cathe are really stiff. I swear the new bands are a lot stiffer than the orignial one I had. Soup and salad sounds good. Too bad DH doesn't like salads :(. We are going to my brother's New Years Eve for dinner and to my parents for more turkey on New Years Day. It seems like there was more eating and drinking this year for some reason. I don't like that cardio section with the ball. My arms get tired holding it. I like the original bootcamp but those squat thrust climbers get me every time . 22 pushups is still really good.

Today I was supposed to get my hair highlighted but my hairdresser called this morning and told me that she hurt her back. She rescheduled me for Friday afternoon. I hope she is doing better, back pain really sucks.

Have a great Wednesday everyone.

Cheryl

Joey and I did the Firm Vol 1 with Susan Harris. She's so good. It was hard today! Also the neighbor dog that is so friendly, came to visit. I'm not sure any longer what breed of dog she is. Boxer, Pit Pull...I really don't know. But, she is so precious, and wiggles because she is so excited to see us. What a doll baby. I call her Baby, since I don't know her real name.

Cheryl, Great job on HR yesterday and Step Works today. Yeah! Well done. I have so many different things, that by the time I get back to the first one, it's new again. I never give up any exercise equipment for that reason. LOL:D

Pam, Business with pleasure works into the holidays. It's a way of getting things done.;) Great job on BC. When you workout with peck muscles and try to do push ups on your toes, 22 push ups on your toes is amazing! You are amazing.:)

Have a great day everyone,

Janie

Cheryl Great job on Step works, that is such a fun one! I don't like those bicep curls with the band either, I can never do them all. I usually drop the band pretty quickly and just use the barbell. Oh yea, the squat thrust climbers are killers in BC. I always feel so good when I get through them but then the ice breakers seem to go on forever too!
Oh boy, I do hope your hairdresser is doing better. Ouch!
The light eating is about to come to an end. We go to our friends beach house every year for New Years and make a very decadent dinner and Eggs benedict for New Years breakfast. We are leaving today. Hopefully we'll at least get some long walks on the beach in too! It is supposed to be in the 60's this weekend so I'm happy about that.

Janie Great job on the Firm! That is the workout that really got me interested in doing weights and no matter how many times I do it it doesn't get any easier!
That is so wonderful that you have made such good friends with the neighbor dog. She is probably thrilled to have some friendly people around since their owners sound like there is nothing nice about them at all!

I guess Julie is enjoying her time off!
Helen, I hope you are doing well too!

This morning was Body Max 2 for me. I did my pushups between the cardio and the upper boday section and got 26 1/2 on my toes!! :p I was so excited. Of course when Cathe started doing decline pushups I had to go to my toes pretty quickly, but I was happy anyway. Have a great Thursday everyone!

Pam

Hello, ladies.

We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday on Tuesday. I made homemade whole wheat ravioli stuffed with skim ricotta, sweet Italian turkey sausage, spinach, a little Parmesan cheese and some basil. It was my first attempt at homemade pasta with the pasta press I got for Christmas and it turned out pretty well. I made a parsley cream sauce, too, but it wouldn't thicken for some reason. Everyone ate it and said it tasted good, and there weren't any leftovers, so I guess they were telling the truth. :p

I spent a little time with the Workout Manager on Monday of this week. I have every workout scheduled and on the calendar until the end of January. It's so nice that you can schedule workouts and now print the calendar! :)

Since the 26th, I've been getting my workouts in and eating properly. It feels so good to be back in the swing. My oldest daughter has been joining me in my STS workouts. She completed a round of P90X (her final week was during her finals week at school a few weeks ago) and was surprised at how much harder STS is than P90X. I resisted the urge to say "I told you so.";) On Monday we did Disc 13 Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps; Tuesday we did MMA Boxing; and yesterday we did Disc 14 Legs. This morning, my daughter accused me of trying to kill her. :D But then she asked what's on the schedule for today. We'll be hitting Cardio Core Circuit in just a little bit. It has been fun having a partner in pain. :D

Great job to all of you improving on your push ups! Even if your numbers don't go up, I'm certain your form is improving and good things are happening. Consistency pays off!

My husband and I will be spending New Year's Eve at home. Our kids have plans with their friends, but we almost always stay home and the kids have orders to spend the night at their friends' houses. We'll make crab stuffed mushrooms, steamed crab legs, shrimp, and my husband will have some mussels. Hopefully we'll be able to stay awake until midnight!:p

Happy New Year, all!

Helen

Yesterday was super busy so I didn’t get a chance to post but I will catch you all up on what I did.

Tuesday night I came home from work and did Dust Max, Wednesday morning I did Power Max, and then I did Kitchen Max and cleaned out my fridge, cabinets, and counters. Then I had to take Oscar to the vet. The great news is the vet said he is doing much, much better. His bladder is almost completely healed which means no bladder cancer!!:eek: We even are going to try leaving the diaper off of him and see how it goes.

This morning I did The Gauntlet. That one goes by super fast but it is also super tough! I have to admit I didn’t do any pushups yesterday or today. I think I am getting bored with them so I am going to mix it up a little and try the dropsets from Gym Style Chest & Triceps.

Pam Great job on Drill Max Premix. I think I have done that one before and it really works your legs. Great job on Boot Camp! I have that one scheduled for some time next week and it will be my first time through it. I was a little leery of it because there are parts of it in The Gauntlet and Cathe is out of breathe. I figure if she is out of breathe; I am going to be dying. Now seeing that you enjoy that one, you have given me some hope that I won’t die! Great job on Body Max 2 and 26 ½ pushups on your toes! That is amazing! I hate decline pushups! Maybe that’s what I should focus on doing instead of dropsets!

Janie Great job on Travel and doing stair climbing. You are one tough chickie to do 30 minutes of stair climbing! That is so cute that the neighbor dog came and visited you. She most really like you. Oscar is a purebred boxer and Maggie is a lab-pit bull mix. They are both the sweetest dogs I have ever known and Oscar loves to wiggle when he gets happy. Maggie doesn’t really wiggle but she has back issues so not sure if that is why. I am so glad that you and at least one of the neighbor dogs are getting along so well!

Cheryl Great job on High Reps and Step Works. I haven't done High Reps but Step Works is a fun one. It is amazing that even Cathe's older workouts are still tough. I’m with you on the housekeeper thing. I really wish I could afford one. Maybe not every week but it would be nice to have someone come in and do a really deep, thorough cleaning every once and awhile! I do have to say I feel so much better when I am done cleaning so I try to remind myself of that the whole time I am forcing myself to clean!

Helen That ravioli sounds wonderful. I have made homemade ravioli once! It was stuffed with butternut squash and parmesan cheese. It was good but time consuming because I only had a manual crank pasta machine and no ravioli press. That is so great that you have a partner in pain to workout with! That must really keep both of you motivated. Your New Year’s Eve dinner sounds divine! Given that I only live 3 hours from the St. Louis area, don’t be surprised if I show up to help you eat!!

Well, I can’t promise that I will be back to post anything this weekend. Jason has tomorrow through Sunday off work and we are looking forward to lounging around and having a Criminal Minds DVD marathon!

Walked Rolly around the drive way about 30 min with his jacket on, but still was way to cold for him. At 24 degrees, I can see why. Poor little guy! I also did Step Moves. Whew!

Pam, Great job on BM2 and the 26.5 pushups on toes. I'm excited for ya! Thank you for the encouragements of the dogs and Vol. 1.;)

Helen, Happy 50th to your hubby. That's a unique birthday, at least for me, it was.

Making your own pasta is so cool? Will you be making it with spinach juice, carrot juices...? Sounds wonderful!

I'm hearing a lot of good things about the workout manager.

The workouts that you and your daughter are doing is fantastic. It's so cool:cool: to have a partner working hard along side you. Good going!

Julie, Joey and I are having a marathon of "24" it's a great show.

With all your house Max's I bet it's a clean and wonderful place to be during these holiday days.

So glad Oscar is doing better. I was crossing my fingers and toes for him.

Great job on the Gauntlet, wow! You are full of energy aren't you?

I'm to glad that one of the dogs from the neighbors come over. We really do get along. What a sweet doggie. Was missing out on this one.

Have a good one everyone,

Janie

I did a Lower Body Blast premix this morning. It had the standing leg work and then leg conditioning exercises. Yowza......I will see if I pass the toilet test tomorrow :D. Went out for lunch with a few friends today. It was good but man am I full. A few more days of this and then I can get back to healthy eating.

Janie Nice that one of the neighbours dogs is friendly. I like the name Baby. I am with you on not giving up the exercise equipment, you never know when you will need it again. It is nice having a large workout library so even the old ones seem new again.

Pam I used to do Step Works all the time when it first came out. I hadn't done that one for a while but it is funny that you never forget the step moves even if you haven't done it in a few years. I can feel for my hairdresser, my back is giving me grief again. I think after I post this I will do some stretching. Your New Years breakfast sounds wonderful.

Helen Happy 50th birthday to your husband. I just went through that birthday in May. Your homemade ravioli sounds yummy. I have always wanted to make my own pasta but I don't think I have a lot of time for it. Maybe one day. Glad to hear that you are back into the swing of things. I am for my workouts......my eating has yet to follow . So is your daughter going to be another Cathe convert? I can't do P90X because Tony Horton drives me nuts and I don't find the weight workouts very challenging. Let me know how much your daughter was cursing Cathe during Cardio Core Circuit :D, that is one tough workout. Enjoy your New Years Eve. Sometimes it is nice to spend the evening in.

Julie Good job on Dust Max and Kitchen Max. I have done the Dust Max but I haven't gotten around to Kitchen Max yet. I am so glad that Oscar is doing better, that is great news. That is the nice thing about Cathe, even her old workouts are hard. Talking about housekeepers when Prince William and Kate Middleton get married in April they don't want any housekeepers . They want to do the cooking and cleaning!!!! Umm funny when you can have it all you don't want it. Apparently Prince Charles and Camilla have 149 staff to look after them :eek::eek:

Well I am not sure if I will have a chance to post tomorrow. If not have a Happy New Year everyone. Talk to you in 2011.

Cheryl

Joey and I did The Firm Vol. 3. The Firm is really good, it wore us out. LOL:D

Wanted to wish everyone all there good wishes to come true this coming year. Happy New Year's Eve everyone.

Cheryl, Great job on the Lower Body Blast premix. Well done. I know what you mean. After the 1st can finely eat normally, or more healthy.;)

This morning Baby came in to say hi, and as usual we petted and gave her treats. Heard some barking, so took the treats and walked towards the end of the drive way. There the other two dogs were. They knew what I had in my hands, so I threw it to the one that never comes close and hand Treated the huge gray one. Finely the shy (but huge) one came a little closer and for the first time stooped the barking. Yeah! An achievement today. Told them all to go home and went back to the house. They still wanted treats I think, because they were outside our house for a bit before they gave up. LOL

Have a great day,

Janie

Well I had a few minutes to stop by and check-in today. Jason is taking a nap right now! Funny how we got up at the same time but I am not napping. I did do a crazy pyramid workout. I did the standing work of Pyramid Lower Body and then did Pyramid Upper Body in its entirety! I think I may be a little crazy because now I am dying! I totally forgot about the killer ab portion and doing that first so when it came up at the end, I attempted 2 pikes before just doing the knee pull-ins. I know I will be failing the toilet test because I am already feeling it!

Janie Great job on Step Moves! I have never watched 24 but have heard it is very good and I love Keifer Sutherland! Jason and I love watching TV shows off of DVDs because then we don’t have to deal with commercials. That is so great that even the other dogs are making progress! I have heard dogs can learn what to do just by observing the behavior of other dogs. They must have seen Baby getting special attention and decided they didn’t want to miss out anymore.

Cheryl Good job on the Lower Body Blast premix! I am so with you o the healthy eating! I have been over-indulging and cannot wait to get back to normal. I really think my body is needing actual nourishing food. Oh my! 149 staff members to take care of your every need! Oh to be royalty! It will be interesting to see how long Prince William and Kate go with their no help policy.

Have a wonderful New Year everyone!
