Lurkers Invitation 2010

Joey and I walked Rolly about 30 min. today. I'm planning on doing a cardio from Cathe also.

Cheryl, It's going to be a hot one here as well. Rolly, Joey and I went walking this morning before it gets to hot. We didn't go a long way, but we did good.

Pam, I'm going to start going on the weekends to our farmers marker here in Shelton to shop for produce from now on. The sad thing about it, is they aren't there in the last part of Fall, Winter or Spring.:(

When we go to the ocean, the same thing is happening here. Our beaches are eroding away. I feel so sorry for the people who live or have houses there. So sad.:(

How wonderful about Insanity. I just love that series. That's why I did a rotation of STS cardio and Insanity. Amazing stuff. To a nice beet red face! LOL:eek:

We went to the ocean yesterday, and it was so crowed. There were a few spaces open, but we decided to walk on the beach, pick up some stones and go back home. Just not the right time for us to be out and about with all the people there (working mom's and dad's) trying to have a good time. We'll go in the Fall when everyone is back at work and school. We should have known better.

Take care everyone, and have a great day.

Janie

I think I'm giving up on catching up until I come back from Chile (a business trip). I'll be back Labor Day. Until then, my time is not my own... And now catching up seems so daunting! I may just slide back in early September and hopefully figure out what is going on. ;)

Cheryl - we have the same schedule! The only difference is around 5-5:30 (if I'm not working late) I'm trying to make dinner for my family and run her to whatever she has going on... It is a hard schedule I think. Sometimes I wish I worked in town so that I'd recover at least 1.5 hours of my day (commute time difference.)

OMG it is sooooo hot here. Yesterday I was feeling really sick and had a major headache. We are breaking heat records everywhere around here and you don't want to go outside at all. And to top it all off, they turn off the air conditioning at work on the weekend and it was an oven when I got in yesterday morning. It didn't get cool in the office at all, today it was back to normal though I needed my sweater again. They are saying that we will be getting cooler weather and I can hardly wait. I don't do heat well :( which means I have not done a workout since last Friday and it is starting to drive me nuts. Once it cools down I will be able to sleep and then I will have the energy to workout again.

Pam When it is hot out I like to do everything on the grill too, however since it has been so hot I didn't want to go outside to use the BBQ. That's too bad that your whitewater weekend won't happen. It is so much fun to do that. You are so good to only do a carry on......I don't think I am capable of that even if I am only going for a few days
Belly dancing is something I have wanted to try for a while now. I will let you know how I do.

Janie How are you doing with the heat? Our air quality is bad again due to all of the forest fires and the heat. The mornings aren't too bad but around 9 a.m. you can really feel the heat. I know when it is hot downtown it will be unbearable at home. Even the bed sheets are hot  Everyone is at the ocean now aren't they. I don't even try, we will wait until it cools down.

Shani Enjoy your trip to Chile. I am making dinner at the time too......I workout after dinner if I can't get it done in the morning. I wish I had a different schedule too. I wished I worked closer as well, my commute is 2 hours every day Yuck. I could get so many other things done with the extra hours.

Have a good Wednesday everbody.

Cheryl

Janie We have a beautiful Farmer's market. It's open every day, but by the time I could get there during the week most of the stalls are closed. I do try to go on the weekends when I can, it's so nice to get the fresh local produce. There is also a pork place and now a little place that sells beef as well.

I think an STS and insanity rotation sounds like a good idea. It's fun doing the insanity for something different right now, but it seems like it woud get awfully repetitive doing the 60 day rotation that they recommend.

I don't like going to the ocean when it is really crowded. We are lucky here to have some really nice beaches that don't get like that. Of course we have the ones that do also, but we try to avoid those! We'll be going for labor day weekend and staying at a friends beach house. This one is right on the ocean and it's on an island that is just houses - no hotels and condos, so the beach is always nice and quiet.

Shani I know it's hard, but sometimes you just have to accept that you can't do it all and let some things slide. It sounds like you are so busy, so don't worry about us, we'll be here when you get back! I hope you have a great trip to Chile and get to do some fun things and not just work the whole time.

Cheryl Wow, sounds like you are having some rough weather. I hope it cools off for you this weekend. The weather people around here were excited this week because it's only supposed to be in the low 90's all week  It's crazy that they turn off the air conditioning over the weekend. If they are going to do that they should at least make sure it is back on in time to have it cooled off for Monday morning!

When I was travelling all the time I had too many times where my luggage didn't show up for several days, so I learned to travel light. Most of the time anyway! If gets tough though if you are taking workout clothes and shoes - they take up a lot of space. My DH can pack in a carry on only for 2 weeks!! I can't do that!

Last night I did Core Max 1 when I got home from work and this morning was Insanity cardio power and resistance. These are some intense workouts, but quite repetitive. I had to take a couple of extra breaks, but not too bad. Now I'm past the fear factor at least! Have a great day everyone!

Pam

Hi ladies!
Nope, I haven't gone anywhere. I just need to get a little better about posting.
Wedding planning is going well. We booked the honeymoon last night - Hawaii here we come!!! :D  So excited! I had my fitting for my dress on Sunday. I hate the look on my face, but it's a great shot of the dress itself. Though it just doesn't do it justice - it's so much prettier in person. We also have a bunch of our accessories now - toasting flutes, cake serving set, unity candle, ring pillow, guest book. The next project will be the centerpieces. I have an idea of what I want, just need to perfect it.

Been doing well with the working out too. Right now, it's 4DS. I did kickbox/legs and Low Intensity Step/shoulders/core/calves. It all seems to be coming together finally, yay! I have my bathing suit hanging up for motivation as well.

Hope you are all doing well. I'll be back to play catch up!
Have a great evening!

Well it was much cooler today. This is the way I like it in the mid 70s. I think I will be able to sleep tonight. I really need to get a workout in I am feeling the clothes getting tighter!!!! I don't know if any of you watch the T.V. show Fringe but all of the movie trucks were parked on the street today where I walk to work. I guess they were using one of the buildings around there for filming.

Pam It has been so hot here. I am glad that it has cooled down a bit. I hate feeling like a big pile of goo everyday. Nope couldn't handle the low 90s. It is suppose to rain this Saturday......that is the day our Pacific National Exibition starts here so it is tradition that it rains during the two weeks it is on LOL. I understand why they would turn off the air con on the weekend but when it is this hot they really need to turn it on before 6 a.m. so the building can cool off. I have been lucky that I have never lost my luggage yet (fingers crossed) but I don't know if I could just get everything in a carry on, you just never know what you may need .

How are you finding the Insanity workouts? I am wondering if I should think about getting them as well.

Kelly Glad to see that you are back. Hawaii will be a nice place to go on your honeymoon. Where about in Hawaii are you going? Your wedding dress is gorgeous. It looks like everything is coming together for you.
Glad to hear that your workouts are going well. Mine aren't since it has been so stinking hot here but it is cooling down so I am looking forward to getting back to it. Funny how a bathing suit can keep you motivated.....

Hope everyone else is doing well.....Sara you haven't gone back into lurking have you?????

Happy Thursday.

Cheryl

Did Travel Fit, MMA Boxing-Heavy Bag bonus, and walked Rolly 30 min. Burned a total of 622 calories. Won't be able to do this everyday, but had lots of energy today, so I took advantage of it. Ate clean.

Shani, Enjoy Chile, we will be here when you get back. Then you can tell us all about it. Pictures please.

Cheryl, Why in the world would they turn off the AC at work? What, to save a few bucks? Jeesh! I hope you fair better during the week. I feel your pain. Try to stay as cool as you can. Put your feet in icy water and just sit, read, watch TV...

Our hot days have gone cool. We are in the 70's again and I'm enjoying it. We might have another bout of it, but it doesn't last. We are so lucky. I think of you and being overheated. Not a good feeling at all. So sorry you have to endure that.

Pam, I'm going this weekend to the market to pick up some local fruit and vegies. It's going to be fun. I've already created Insanity and STS rotation. Let me know and I will find the link for you. It would be in the rotation section. Lucky you enjoying the ocean like that. How fun! Great job on CoreMax and the Insanity cardio Power and Resistance. Wow! Good going!

Kelly
, You are going to love Hawaii! That's where Joey and I spent our Honeymoon too. Fun, Fun, Fun! Sounds like the wedding will be such a wonderful memory. Enjoy the process. Great job on the 4DS. In no time at all you will be fitting into that beautiful bathing suit.

Cheryl, So glad it's gotten cooler for you today. Getting pretty worried about you. Enjoy a wonderful evening of sleep. You'll get back into the swing of things soon, I'm sure. I love Fringe. How interesting that they are that close to you. Awesome!

Janie

Kelly It looks like things are really coming together for the wedding. Your dress is just beautiful! I love those little sleeves! Where will you be going in Hawaii? I've only been to Maui and it was just beautiful. So many fun things to do too.

It's nice to hear that everything is coming together with the workouts too. Good job on 4DS.

Cheryl Glad to hear you are getting some nicer weather, I hope you got a great sleep last night. I am just useless during the day if I don't sleep well. I don't know how new parents do it. Of course I was able to get by better with less sleep when I was younger too  I don't watch Fringe, but that is pretty cool that they were filming right there. Is the whole show filmed in that area typically?

Isn't that always the case that you get rain when you don't want it but don't get it when you do?! It's supposed to be rainy here all day today and then a little cooler and less humid tomorrow so that will be nice.

I'm liking the insanity workouts for a change of pace, but don't think I could do only these workouts for too long. They are very repititive. He has about 6-7 moves that you do over and over for pretty much the whole workout. Of course I've only done a couple of the workouts so far, but they were very much the same: run for 30 seconds, jacks for 30 seconds, a move he calls the heisman for 30 seconds, 1-2-3 side to side for 30 seconds, mummy kicks for 30 seconds, rest for 30 seconds, then do all of that 2 more times. The next series he throws in some different moves but it's 5-6 things for 30 seconds each then rest and do it all 3 times. The one called cardio power and resistance threw in some tricep dips and V push ups, but so far they are pretty much pure cardio.

Janie Wow you WERE energetic yesterday! 622 calories, holy cow! Good job!

I will look up your STS/Insanity rotation when I'm getting ready to do another STS rotation. I think that will be a great combo. I was thinking you had BBL in there as well didn't you?

Have fun at the Farmer's market! I always go crazy and get too much stuff when I go, but it's fun. They also sell beautiful bouquets of fresh flowers at ours for $12. I can never resist those either.

This morning I did Insanity Cardio recovery and Core Max 2. I haven't really decided where I'm going with these insanity workouts right now. So far I'm following the calendar that came with it, but it's a 60 day rotation and I definitely won't be doing only these workouts for 60 days. This is my active recovery week so it's a good time to try these out when I don't need to do any weights. I need to start thinking about what I want to do next week though. Anyway ladies, I have a busy day ahead. Meetings back to back from 9:15 til 5:00. Ugh! Have a great day!

Pam

Janie Wow you did have a lot of energy. I did a pre-mix of Kick punch and crunch this morning. I didn't have a lot of energy.
They turn off the air conditioning on the weekend and at night. I guess it saves money but it was so hot this past weekend the air conditioning couldn't cool the building down. It has cooled down now and it did rain a bit today. It is much more comfortable and I can sleep better. I have been sitting too much lately, my body really hurts right now. We have movie trucks all over the place around here. I just knew the trucks yesterday were for Fringe because the crew were wearing Fringe T-shirts. They stopped advertiseing the show or movie being filmed since the X-Files drew lots of fans to the location and caused disruptions.

Pam Last night was the best sleep I had for a couple of weeks. I am still tired and it will take a couple of days to catch up. When I was younger I would go to the bar and go to bed around 2 - 3 in the morning and then wake up at 5 am and go to work  and do it again that night. I really don't know how I did it, I sure can't do it now.
We have a lot of shows and movies that are filmed here. Fringe is in its third season and the second one being filmed here. Our weather gives shows like that an eerie feeling to it. That is why the X-Files wasn't the same when they moved down to California, there is just too much sun there. They actually film all over the place. When I am waiting for the bus in the morning I see the catering trucks and mobile dressing rooms being hauled to the lakes and bushes around us.
Nice that your heat has cooled down. I wouldn't mind rain here as long as it only lasts a day or two.
I think I would get bored doing the same thing over and over. I like variety to keep me motivated. It sounds like you have done much the same kinda thing in each workout.
Yuck meetings all day. That isn't fun. Hope you got to take a break between them.

Have a great Friday everyone.

Cheryl

Walked Rolly 45 min. and did Step Heat. Burned 400 calories. Not bad, and I ate really well today.

Pam, I don't think anyone can continue with Insanity for long. Yes, they are repetitive, but it does get the job done. There are always new moves in every workout he does, but all repetitive. I love it! When I work that hard I don't want to concentrate on anything but to get the job done. In and out and I'm done.:) They are mostly cardio with lots of weight lifting with your own body weight. Insanity is great for an active recovery from STS. Great job.

I did another rotation that used Insanity, STS and BBL. They are hard rotations and I did them both and had a review of them.

Still trying to find where our Farmers Market is located. I'll keep searching.

Cheryl, Great job on the KP&C. I usually don't have a lot of energy either.LOL:)

So glad it's been cooler for you. How interesting about the Fringe Crew. Do you watch Fringe? It's a gas.

Janie

Cheryl The problem with turning off the air conditioning when it is really hot is that it takes too long to cool things off! Our building is really strange. For some reason they decided that they didn't need to heat or cool the stairways or the elevator shafts. I guess it sounds like a good way to save some money  The problem is that it makes the temperature in the whole building wacky.
It would be fun seeing a show being filmed! I have heard that Fringe is good, but have never seen it. Is it the one that people compare to the X-Files? I loved the X-Files!
Glad to hear that you finally had a good sleep. You are right that it will take you a while to catch up. Sometimes I am more tired the day after my first good sleep  I was the same way when I was younger. I was teaching a 6 am aerobics class but could be out til 2-3 in the morning at the bar and still get up and go teach  Times have sure changed! I'm luck to be awake after 10 pm these days!
I'm not sure what the temperature is today, but all of the windows are steamed up, so I'm guessing it's warm! Our humidity is supposed to be down for a day anyway.
Today's Insanity workout was a little different. They all seem to have the exact same 'warm up' though. It lasts 10 1/2 minutes and is all high impact, so not sure how this qualifies as a warm up! The nice thing though is that they all seem to be 40 minutes or less.
Yesterday I was booked from 9:15 am-5:00pm straight with no breaks, but luckily some of the meetings ended early so I got some breaks. Today will be better, I think I only have 4 meetings.

Janie Your workouts yesterday were not bad at all! Great job!
You're right, when you are working as hard as you do in Insanity you don't want to think. I do like the changes after 30 seconds because it keeps you going. This morning we did each one for 1 minute and that minute seemed like it went on forever!

I hope you find that Faremer's Market! They shouuldn't make it so hard to find! I haven't started my starter yet, I may get to that this weekend.

Eunice Thinking about you with that move only a couple of days away. I hope that everything goes smoothly and that we hear from you soon!

This morning was Insanity Pure Cardio. All I can say is Wow! I was worried when Shaun T said he was nervous about it! It was tough, I missed those 30 second breaks! I did end up having to take about 3 breaks near the end. My headband can't keep up with the sweat when I do these workouts, I have to have a towel handy too. My face is finally starting to cool off and I've been done for an hour! Tomorrow we are moving DSS into his dorm at college! Wow, it's so hard to believe. He can hardly wait. Have a great Friday everyone!

Pam

Janie It must be nicer walking Rolly since it has gotten cooler. It almost felt like fall today here. There was that coolness in the air and it felt soooo good. I was watching Finge but I haven't had a lot of time for T.V. I would like to get back into it since I really liked the show.

Pam I don't understand how they decide what to cool down and what not to. I can understand that they don't want the air conditioning blasting when no one is there but they have to know how long a building would take to cool down after a weekend of about 98 degrees. When they do things like they do in your building you have no idea as to what to wear to work. At least if they keep things cool all over at least you know you will need a sweater while you are there.
Actually it is pretty boring to see something being filmed. It takes so long to do a scene and it sure isn't the same as seeing it on T.V. There was one time I had gone out for lunch and they were filming something and the crew never stopped me from walking down the sidewalk and I found myself in the middle of the filming. The crew told me to keep walking so I did while they were filming this woman (I have no idea who she was) talking on a cell phone. After the scene they gave me the thumbs up so I guess I had my acting debut LOL. Usually they stop you when they are about to shoot so I have no idea why they let me carry on through. If you liked the X-Files you would probably like Fringe too. It has that same feel as the X-Files.
It is amazing what we could do when we were younger, but I sure wouldn't want to do it now. Wow you taught an aerobics class after a few hours sleep  that is really good. You do better that me at being able to stay awake until 10 I am usually in bed at 9. I am such a party person.....
If your windows are all steamed up I would thing it would still be humid. I am so glad it doesn`t get that bad here. If it did I think I would move to the Yukon :D
High impact is a warm up???? I am still on the fence with this one.
You need to talk to the person who books your meetings. I think I would faint if I didn't have a chance to eat anything. At least you did get some breaks, you need that during the day.
College will be a great experience for your DSS. It is hard to believe that school starts soon.

Well didn't workout today but will get back into it tomorrow. It is cooling off so it will be a lot easier and I am on vacation next week. I was suppose to be off the middle of September but I had to plan a meeting and I was so busy working around everybody else's schedule that I forgot about my own . So long story short I have next week off instead.

Have a great Saturday.

Cheryl

Did Forza today with Ilaria Montagnani. Really hit the arms big time. Also walked Rolly 45 min. Only burned 344 calories today. Will take a weekend rest, except walking Rolly and will start on STS with my Joey Mon.

We will be going out tomorrow to celebrate our daughter's 40th birthday. It should be fun.

Pam, I did find the market and plan on going tomorrow. It's very small but should have wonderful fruit and vegies there. Insanity has a way of doing that to ya. Do you find your headband, when squeezed, wrings out sweat? LOL:confused: Whew! Great job, I'm proud of you. Sounds like it's going to be very quite around the house without DSS.

Cheryl, I woke up twice from being to cold last night. Come to find out it was 48 degrees outside, Burrrrrr. This is not right, it's Summer for Pete sake. It got up to 70 today. If I had a garden this year, there would have been damage to the plants. Jeesh!

I bet cooling off feels really nice to you. Just have today as a rest day and continue on your plans for working out. It's OK.

Have a nice evening everyone,

Janie

Cheryl My office at work had been so cold that I always had to take a jacket and my hands would be so cold I had to sit on them. I opened a work request to change it and after 4 weeks someone finally came to fix it. Of course now it's too warm  He came in and fiddled with something in the ceiling so I got on my desk and got in there and messed with it so hopefully it'll be better.
That's funny about you walking through the filming. Did you ever even see your moment of fame? We don't have a lot of time for TV either but have discovered Netflix. It's wonderful. I used to think the DVR was the best thing ever but Netflix is better. We didn't watch Lost at all while it was on TV, but we are watching it now on Netflix. Sounds like we'll have to put Fringe on the list for when we finish watching this. It'll be awhile though since we have only made it through the first season so far.
I probably wouldn't be able to stay up past 9 if I got up as early as you do either.
I'm not really sure what to tell you about insanity. I am ok with it since I got the whole set for $50, but I don't think I would've been happy if I had paid full price. I do think it will be good to mix in during an STS rotation like Janie did though.
I definitely can't make it through the day without eating anything. On days when I am booked back to back through lunch I will either leave a meeting early to go grab something or just joing a meeting late and eat during the meeting. It's crazy now with the teams located all over the world in different time zones you end up with meetings at crazy times.
You are on vacation again next week? I think we will need to start calling YOU Miss Vacation! :p

Janie What is Forza and who is Ilaria Montagnani? I have never heard of that one! I think I will start an STS rotation when it cools off here, but that won't be until mid-October or later. We are usually skiing well into October.
Happy birthday to your daughter!! Is she handling 40 ok?? I know some people have a hard time with that one.
I hope you find some wonderful things at your farmer's market today. Maybe I'll go tomorrow, today is going to be busy with college move in. The younger 2 have a cross country meet this morning and then we are off to UNC for move in after that! DSS is just beside himself he is so excited about it.
I don't even have to squeeze that headband to get all the dripping sweat out of it Janie :p You know it's bad when the sweat hits it and just keeps going because it's so saturated. And when you take your clothes off and they are wetter than when you take them out of the washing machine!
The strangest thing for us without DSS will be dinner. He has been off a lot doing things with friends or working this past year, but we are all at the dinner table together most nights. His little brother has been sticking to him like glue this week.
48 degress in August?? That is just not right! I get very sad when summer is over!

This morinng was plyometric cardio circuit again and then I did cardio abs. I had to take a couple of rests again. Now I'm torn between doing another week of this and re-taking the fit test or doing something else. I guess I will have to decide soon. Have a great weekend everyone!

Pam

Went to our Farmer's Market. Grabbed all kinds of fruit and vegies, (all oraganic) and loved knowing when I eat, it will be healthy. Yes! I just made green smoothie. Wonderful! Getting ready to go out to celebrate our girls 40th.

Will start the cardio part of STS tomorrow (Sun.) and then starting Mon. will be the weight lifting. I will only have 1 day a week to rest up. That's OK, I think I can handle it. We'll see.

Pam, Ilaria is a famous MM instructor. Her physical stregnth is to die for. Forza is a Samurai Sword Fighting workout using the bokken (plastic or wooden sword). It's an amazing upper body workout, especially for the arms. It gives you a sense of power and control. I love this workout! I also have her PowerStrike Kickboxing. Fun, Fun, Fun.

DSS has got to be feeling on top of the world. Very exciting for him I'm sure.

LOL:eek: about clothes being wetter after a workout than taking them out of the washing machine after being clean. LOL:D I have to agree, if you workout hard that's what happens. Isn't it great?

It was 48 again this morning. Too cold for August!

Great job on plyo cardio circuit with abs.

Hi to everyone else out there, hope your day is good.

Janie

Hi ladies!
Hope you are all having a great weekend! Been very quiet around here, Thomas is in Colorado Springs all day, so I did my workout (did a 1 hour walk/run for something different today), and have been tidying up around the apt.
Have a great day!

Janie Happy 40th birthday to your daughter. How is she handling it, as Pam said some people have a hard time with that one. We have the same cool weather as you and I am loving it. For me it is feeling like fall my most favorite time of the year. I am sleeping with my quilt so I haven't been cold with the windows open. The workouts you did sound interesting. Where did you find these workouts, do they have anything on the Internet to look at?

Pam They do like to keep your office cold don't they. I have had to wear a sweater but my hands have been fine. I don't know why they can't regulate the tempature in a building - it is either too hot or too cold. I never seem to be just right. Well hopefully you got it fixed so you won't freeze now. No I never saw myself but I wasn't sure what they were filming either so I could watch it. I watched Lost except for the last few episodes  I need to see the end of it so I know how it ended. I got too busy and never got a chance to see the ending. It is crazy how we do business now. I know some people here that I work with need to get to work by 6 a.m. for conference calls. The people back east seem to forget that we are still sleeping when they start working. I guess the same can be said for the west coast people as we have to remember to contact the east coast before noon before they all go home for dinner.
I know I have a lot of vacation time don't I :D. After this week I will still have six weeks of vacation time left.
It will be strange for you not to have your DSS at home. It sounds like his little brother will really miss him too.

This morning was Cardio and Weights. It felt good to get moving again. Janie and Pam I am the total opposite of you I hate the blistering heat and love it when it cools down but is still sunny.

Have a great Sunday everyone.

Little Miss Vacation :D

Janie So glad to hear that you found your Farmer's Market and got lots of goodies! Very fun. Are you doing the STS/SC rotation or are you doing something different for cardio? Are you and Joey doing STS together?

How was DD's birthday dinner? I hope that everyone had a great time!
Your MM workout sounds interesting. I had never heard of her or Forza before.

DSS was very excited, he couldn't wait for us to leave when we dropped him off  It was kind've fun being on campus and thinking about how much fun college was!

48 is WAY to cold for August! It was 77 here when we woke up this morning. We are getting some big thunderstorms now so I expect that will cool things off some.

Hi Kelly Nice the hear from you. Sometimes I really enjoy having those days to myself, just as long as there aren't too many of them It sounds like you made the most of your time.

Cheryl You will have to get Netflix and watch those last few Lost episodes. of course I imagine some other network will start showing the whole thing in re-runs before too long too. I know a lot of people were disappointed/confused with the final episode, but I don't know anything more about it.
I think those of us on the east coast have the easiest time when it comes to the crazy work schedules. It seems like since we are in the middle people are usually working around our schedules.
You still have 6 weeks left after this week?! Wow, how much do you get? I get 5 weeks a year and thought that was a lot. Now I'm jealous ;)
I like when it's cold for sleeping and I can cuddle under a nice warm blanket, but I really love summer and warmth and always so sad when it starts to cool off.

Today was a rest day for me, I still have to decide what I am going to do this week. To insanity or not? hmmmmm...can't decide. I hope you are all having a great weekend!

Pam I don't think we get Netflix here. I will have to figure out another way of watching the rest of it. I think you are right with the East coast being in the best position for scheduling conference calls. You are right in the middle of everything. I know our nieghbour sometimes has calls with London England so he needs to be there early.
I get 6 weeks a year for vacation and then around another week for performance time. What makes it add up is that I can't take off time from January to April because of year end and then I can only take the two middle weeks of any month off since my job deals with month end stats. Though it looks like I will be able to take a couple of days off at Christmas. I have been with the same company for 31 years now so I have reached the max for vacation. I am hoping that when I reach retirement I can leave early and use up my vacation time instead of being paid out.
I love cuddling under a warm blanket but I am not a summer person at all. I like it when it is warm not hot. I hate feeling like a big pile of goo when I get home from work and I have no energy what so every. All I want to do is stay in bed because it is too hard to do anything. I think I deal with SAD opposite of everyone else .... When it gets hot I just don't want to get out of bed or do anything. I feel so much more alive when it is still nice and much cooler.

Today I did the first 4 intervals of Low Max. I was in a hurry so I couldn't do the whole thing. I used to sell clothes as a side business and I put my collapsible clothing rack on Craig's List and someone was coming over to get it. It was a very profitable day since she took that and a few clothes. Woo Hoo now I have put all of my clothes on Craig's list so we will see what happens.

Have a great Monday everyone.
