Today I did CDorner Step Aerobics Intermediate #156, 52 minutes, 304 calories, heart rate 140/172, 4,617 steps. I had previewed CDorner Total Butt and Legs no squats, lunges, or jumping and did the first part that was warm up and all standing band work plus some superman moves which I did with my arms down at my side rather than extended. I stopped here as that is when she starts doing deadlifts and moved forward to some bridge work. The weight work is not too long and she goes to some floorwork and abs. What I did was 17 minutes, 64 calories, heart rate 110/157,659 steps. I guess she is having problems with a knee and designed the workout around that. She said she was going to see a doctor, but knew it was not something serious, but being careful. She used the light fabric band. The step workout was fun with fun music choices and she had several others working out with her by a pool.
Total time was 69 minutes, 368 calories, 5,276 steps.
Debbie, I hope that you are not getting sick. I take zinc capsules every day. I don't no what happened to my zinc capsules and magnesium powder that I ordered from Amazon 11 days ago. I had to buy from Whole Foods. Amazon said they shipped right after I ordered as they were supposed to be 1 day shipping. Then they stopped somewhere and never moved on. It says I can get a refund, but if they arrive then I have to mail them back so I keep waiting for them. The workout looks great. I saw that Chris was taking 4 days off and put up stuff for everyone even though she is taking a break. Has the PT given you some ideas of how you can handle those knots yourself?
Doreen, nice work today. I haven't looked at Beachbody for awhile. Now way would I want people to see me work out. Same reason I won't go to a gym. I would feel like I had to fix my hair and do make up to do the work out LOL. My morning look leaves a lot to be desired.
Jolie, get better. It is sad that every time we feel ill, we start worrying that it is covid. Those covid quick tests are not that accurate. Keep up the vitamins and stuff and get plenty of rest. One of the ladies in my game group was sick and thought it was a sinus infection. It got better and then went worse. She finally got checked and not covid, she had pneumonia.
Belinda, I hope you get better soon. I hope that the chest x ray helps. I see a pulmonologist for lung nodules periodically. I don't know what happened to the day when we just saw one doctor. But, I guess specialists know there field a lot better. Same as my daughter thinking I should see a orthopedic doctor for the shoulder as she says they would know how to take care of it better than the arthritis doctor. I will wait a bit. I think I have been getting heart CT's for the lung nodules though. I had a receptionist try telling me I would not be getting a heart CT for the nodules and she could not find my appointment, then after many calls I ended up getting the heart CT. They saw the lung nodules when I went for the first heart CT when my primary care sent me there to check my arteries.
I wish that they could find you something different than MTX that would work for you. I know it is a learning and trial trying to find the right thing for your condition.
