Hardcore Fitness Maniacs December 2024

Good evening,

I did JS TB PHA and a walk this morning. I feel much better today. I slept for over 12 hours. We left the hotel this afternoon, we had a late check out. Now we at the house we rented. It’s so beautiful. It’s all screened in, no mosquitoes, safe for Sadie to run outside too. We also have a nice side pool. DD/BF will arrive tomorrow, DS/Dil will come the next day. The weather is amazing. It does get a little chilly early in the morning/late night. I will try to get a workout in before DD/BF arrives.

Great job on your workouts.

Good night.

Today I did LMR Functional Total Body skipping and modifying a few moves. This was 55 minutes, 174 calories. I followed it with the LMR Anytime Mobility, 16 minutes, 30 calories, and back pod and PT moves.
I dumped water all over my worksheets, so I need to print up new ones.

Belinda, nice job on JS PHA TB and walk. It sounds like such a pleasant place to get together with your family. Have fun.

Roselyn, nice work on the Caroline leg workout.

Today I had an excellent workout. I did CL #276 All In Upper Body and ended with a 5 minute row on my rowing machine on the highest resistance. Boy, that was tuff stuff on the legs and back. Yesterday I took the pup for a 3 mile walk through the hills and got a muscle spasm in my right low back hip area when I was going up a steep hill. I have to walk on the flat ground for this week if possible so I can get the pull to go away. My son came home last night for the next week and a half so let the festivities begin. I am never truly happy until all of my family is under one roof. I slept so good...

Belinda, have a great holiday with your family. Great job on the 60-minute walk. I love walking outside; it is so refreshing to get air in your lungs and some sunshine on your face.

Diane Sue, good job with the workout and bummer about spilling water on your workout sheets!

I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday. I am going to Newport Beach to the outside mall to walk the pup and look at all of the Christmas decorations and listen to Christmas music.

This morning I did RAW Heavy Bag/Shadow Box with her soon Zach. I love that workout, it's my favorite boxing workout of Kelly's. Had a great workout.

Workout was 38 minutes, burned 298 calories, did 2770 steps and HR was 137/184. I also did my own stretching but did not record it in my Garmin.

Great workouts everyone!! I am going to do some last minute shopping this afternoon. I've had a hard time finding stuff for people because everyone has everything. Sort of takes the fun out. Oh well.

Have a great day everyone!!

I also did LMR Functional Core Bonus level 2, 22 minutes, with the warmup premix 92 calories, heart rate 115/141. Finished with LMR Anytime Mobility 17 minutes, 25 calories. Roselyn, I like the LMR workouts. I think that they complement other workouts in helping with recovery and posture. The weight workouts are fairly low weight. The highest weight I think is a 40# barbell on the Total body workout. Cathe does say you can go heavier on these. They will be a nice change or good for add ons to other workouts. The cardio bonus is short, but a good quick add on to a weight workout of other. Nice work on the back workout and Fuel day 1.

Debbie, good job on STS 2 Upper Body 1.

Belinda, nice work on JS Total Body and walk and today's yoga on the deck.

Merry Christmas have a wonderful joyful day !

This morning I did RAW Upper Sculpt/Lower Tone and I had an excellent workout. My brother got me some 5# ankle weights and I used them along with my 2# ones and wow, what a workout!!

This was 50 seconds on/10 off although toward the end Kelly shortened it. This is how it went:

3# dumbbells - did right side, then left:
Jabs
Hooks
Upper Cuts
Speed Bag - These were hard with the 3# db

Standing legs using 7# ankle weights - did right side, then left:
Shin Blocks
Knee Pull
Back Kicks or Lifts

Above Jabs, hooks, upper cuts, speed bag but faster - first right then left side but I used my 1.5# egg weights since it was faster

Above Shin Blocks, Knee Pull, Back Kicks but faster - first right, then left side

Jab/Cross (each side separately) - 3# DB
Hook/Up (each side separately) - 3# DB

Leg work on the Floor:
Glute Kicks
Alternate Fire Hydrants
Repeat

Above Jab/Cross and Hook/Ups but faster (used my 1.5# egg weights)

Leg work on the floor:
Up & Out
Leg back, heel up/Toe to floor raises

Jab, Hook, Upper, Squats - 3# DB
Repeat other side

Leg work on floor:
Cross Over, each side separately
Alt. Knee In
Hamstring Curls, each side separately

Alt. Jabs, Hooks, Ups, Squat - 3# DB
Same without weights (cool down)

Workout was 49 minutes, burned 317 calories, did 2232 steps and HR was 125/151.

I hope you all had a great Christmas! Mine was one of the best! Great job with your workouts yesterday!! I should have worked out, I ate way too much, but hopefully that is all behind me and now I can concentrate on eating good again.

Have a great day!!

Sorry I have been MIA the past few days, it has been pretty crazy around here with my son home and company. Christmas morning I got in a workout, Vertial loading 2 and did really well with it but I did lift lighter weights. Yesterday I took the pup for a 3.3 mile walk and it as cold and overcast outside, not my favorite weather to walk in. Today, I will need to walk the pup again because my husband has to be into work early today and does not have time to do it. I will pick my route that is 3.1 miles through the hills, it is cold again today.

Great job on the workouts the past few days everyone! I will be lifting weights tomorrow. I hope Santa was good to you all this year!

This morning I did RAW Heavy Up & Move. This is a CardioAcceleration workout so not sure why she named it something different. Talk about confusing. Anyways, it was a great workout but concentrated mostly on back and legs. I had a great workout, though.

Everything was 45 seconds and about 10 seconds rest

Lawn Mower Row/Clean & Press: 15# (she does one side at a time)
Cardio: Knee/Insole
Repeat

Overhead Triceps Extension: 15#
Kickstand Deadlifts: 20's
Cardio: Side Step Hamstring/Twist
Repeat

Landmine Rows: 30#
Cardio: Triple Knees
Repeat

Clean from the Hip: 15's
Side to Side Lunges: 15#
Cardio: Knee Twist Twist
Repeat

Then I got on my treadmill and walked for 1 mile. Total workout was 58 minutes, burned 398 calories and HR was 127/160. When I got done with Heavy Up, I burned 224 calories.

Roselyn - Great job with your workout!

Jolie - Great job with your workouts. Sounds like you have a lot going on but it sounds like you are enjoying it!! Are both of your sons home?

Diane, Belinda, Deanna and Roxie - Hope you are all doing well!!
