Cardio Coach Press Play Saturday Sept 27

Good luck Michele! Travel safely! Glad to hear your DFIL is doing better!
Thank you Jodi! I got here safe and sound and I've been enjoying the company of my handsome and adorable nephews. They're all grown up -- sniff sniff.

We're so relieved that my FIL is finally perking up. I can't tell you how much I appreciate all the prayers and positive vibes. Thanks everyone! :)

Won't miss it this time, Michele!!!!

I am so sorry you and your family are going through all this heartache. Although I have not been posting much due to a crazy work schedule, I have been thinking about you. Sending you many hugs, support, positive vibes and I will dedicate my first CCPP workout to your family and Tanya's Mom.
Carola, I m so excited for you to do this workout! You are gonna LOVE it!! That goes for all of you who are new to PP. Thank you for dedicating your workout to my family -- it means more to me than I can say.

Dear PPers,

I've been reading the thread and I'm overwhelmed by your tender and kind words. Your thoughts and prayers have been a huge boost to my spirit and to my DH's as well. My FIL continues to improve and I know the positive energy generated by you is largely responsible for his turn around. Thank you all so much. I'm sorry I can't PP with you tomorrow but I'll carry you in my heart and I'll be with you in spirit.

And to the PP newbies -- WELCOME!! You're in for a real treat and I'm looking forward to reading about your PP experience. :D

Hi,

Just popping in to say that I will be joining you all for the first time on CCPP day!

Thank you Melissa and Gayle for the challenge! I look forward to doing this later this afternoon. I have to get my DD to her eye appt and then to college. She left her books there!!! She has three major tests coming up the beginning of next week and needs her study materials.

Good luck and have a great workout everyone!
Heidi

Who's done???

I finished my very first CCPP Saturday!! (and first time doing the PP workout!) I'm at my IL's in Missouri, and I found a route that has a VERY long hill for the workout. It was an amazing workout!! Thanks to all of you for inspiring me!! I'm going to take a pic of the hill and post it when we get home tomorrow. We're talking about a killer hill!

I feel so awesome and accomplished now! 7 miles done. :D How did everyone else do?

I just finished as well.... 7.5 miles with the extra challenge. It seems every month it just gets better and better, the inspiration is so moving. It was especially moving for me this month as I dedicated my workout to my dear Mom who left this world 6 yrs ago tomorrow at what I consider a young age (72). That was the beginning of a very dark time in my life and in this last year when I started this fitness journey of mine, I am happy that I "chose living" and I know my Mom would be especially proud of me as well.

PP done on the stationary bike. I decided not to use the HRM today, and I enjoyed it so much more. I think from now on I will just use how I feel as a guide rather than the HRM.

Lisa, we are also proud of you! How wonderful of you to dedicate PP to your mom.

Lisa - your post brought tears to my eyes. I have not yet done my PP today - still trying to breathe and let the inhaler kick in (terrible allergies right now/aggrevating my asthma!) I am dedicating my workout to Michele's FIL and family, and am adding you to it - I am so happy that you "chose living" and yes, your mom has got to be smiling down on your for that. Any mom would want nothing less, and she probably led you on your way, as only moms can do, no matter where they are.

Hey gals!

I just got done doing my first CCPP, and it was an amazing experience! I dedicated my workout to Michele and her FIL; a dear friend from the forums who lost her GF last night; another dear friend from the forums who's going through a rough patch; and my mom, whom I lost to kidney cancer seven years ago (she was much too young -- only 55).

I was so tired after only the second challenge that I was tempted to stop, but I thought of all you dear gals in Cathe Land and the people I was working out for -- and I made it all the way through! (Of course, I had to stop a few times to wipe some tears from my eyes!)

Lisa, sending you {{{HUGS}}}! Your mom would definitely be so proud of you!

Thanks to everyone for the encouragement to do this! It was incredible!

Well though I was too askeered to commit to doing CCPP today since I wasn't sure how much sleep I would get last night - I woke up late but ended up jumping on the ol TM and ran my behind off.

I really can feel it already !

Haven't run much farther than 3 or 4 miles for the past few months so did not add the Vol 4 addition today. Total workout for me was 65 min and ended up doing 5.5 miles. My HR was on the high end most of the time so didn't want to up my pace.

Am totally fried and lovin' it !

Thanks for the inspiration all you loverlies - your enabling is sooo appreciated since I don't tend to push myself far enough !

Checking in with my CCPP workout completed -- it was great! This was my second one and I'm already looking forward to next month's. I'm so glad I got hooked on the CC workouts! Thanks to all of you for your enthusiastic and informative posts about them that caught my attention.

I just got done a little while ago... clocked in 8 miles on the treadmill and was SOAKED! I didn't get much sleep last night either (I never do, really), and didn't know if I'd make it, but the thought of all y'all out there doing it too spurred me on.

To all those going through rough patches or with family members who are ill, I dedicated mine to you, and I wasn't sure I could make it through that challenge from Vol 4, but thinking about Tanya got me there!

Just wanted to say another Catheite has complete CCPP. I was totally soaked. I did just under 7 miles and 700 cals on the elliptical without the extra challenge.....thank you very much.:D;)

Now I'm looking forward to parking it on the couch and taking in some TV, guilt free. Ahhhhhhhh!

Have a great Saturday night all.......and (((hugs))) to all who are going through tough times right now.

Angie

My first time!

I did it! 7.5 miles this morning. I chickened out for the extra challenge... but I'm just so proud to have done all of PP! I actually was laughing/crying with joy when that final 5th challenge ended.

I've never done a check-in or challenge and it was a wonderful feeling knowing I was working out with all of you today and the positive energy was so palpable.

I'm already looking forward to October 25th! LOL!

Bless you all!

Becky

DirtDiva - yes, feeling better, finally! Thanks for asking. And I love your new avatar!

I mapped out the challenges - the bike, the stepmill, and the TM. It was a workout and so much fun!! I did two on each, and the warm up and cool down on the TM. I burned so many calories that I cannot stay full now! I pretty much felt like super woman by the time I was finished!

Just finished my workout:
Hi to you all!

Just finished my workout. I couldn't do it with you all yesterday but I hit it hard today!

CCPP! Wow! Just an awesome workout!
I did a bike ride @ 15miles 67min. Highest hill 7 @ speed 18MPH. I was totally drenched as if I just came out of the pool!

Hello to everyone! Make it a good one!

Heidi

Great job everyone! I did CCPP and the challenge this morning on the treadmill and logged 7.15 miles. Thank you to everyone for pushing me along.....I really didn't feel like running today but I kept thinking about you all hitting it hard yesterday and it egged me on! ;)

Wahoo I joined in yesterday on a nearby treadmill. I had issues with it since it only let me on for 20 min and the emergency stop was really close to my hands as I ran, LOL, but I made it through. I added on the fourth challenge at the end of the fifth challenge; probably not what everyone else was talking about but whatever! I did sprints instead of hills for the last two of the 2nd time through the fourth challenge.

Which means I have no idea how many miles I got in but I can tell you my flanks :)p) are sore from my 9.0 pace sprints! :D

I'm hoping to add more CC in before my half next month. We'll see how it goes. Thanks everyone!! It was fun knowing you were with me.

ETA: It was lots of fun to see the desk guy do a double take as he saw my sweaty shirt as I left after nearly 90 minutes. :p
