Cardio Coach Press Play Saturday Sept 27

Count me in (minus the challenge) I do not own V4. Besides I have a plane to catch and a deskunking app't too!

CC PP will be done Friday (tomorrow) DH and I are headed to Manhattan to see DD23 for her birthday! *** DD and I have a together run planned for Saturday.

have to admit, though, that I'm a little scared of adding on that extra challenge . . . . :(

No worries, Leann-a-banana. :) I never add on the extra challenge. I'm always way too beat by the time PP is over. The PP workout kills me for some reason.

I want to do this workout so bad on Saturday but I just DO NOT want to do it on my treadmill. Uh uh. No way.

I reeeeeaaaaally prefer to do CC workouts on an elliptical. But herein lies my problem....I don't have a friggin elliptical!

I may sit this month out. Doing CC on my treadmill just has to much of a dread factor for me and takes away the meaning of Press Play. :(

Thanks for the info about Cardio Coach!!! I went to his website and I loved it, well I enjoyed listening to it, not sure I'll make it through the work out :D I can't wait to try it tomorrow.
 
Thank you all so much for the hugs, prayers, and positive energy you sent on behalf of my DFIL. I'm happy to report that he is doing better today! He recently had surgery and has been in the hospital. No word on when he'll be released. He became very confused and agitated and there was no obvious cause. After considerable study and testing, they discovered it was from an antibiotic. He had been on it orally with no problem but confusion set in after they switched him to an IV form. I can't tell you how relieved we are. We thought he had totally lost his mind there for awhile. It was so hard to see him in that state and we cried tears of absolute joy to see him bright and alert again.

Well, I'm going to have to put off my PP workout until Sunday. I grossly overestimated what I could accomplish today. My nephew is getting married tomorrow out of town and we're leaving shortly to attend the rehearsal. I've been asked to do a reading during the ceremony and I'm SCARED!!!!! LOL! All prayers and good luck vibes are welcome. ;) :)
 
Just finished!

I'm pooped! This was my first time and I loved to hear Jim talking during some of the steady states! I did have to take a break before finishing up the bonus challenge to rush inside and make DH his lunch so he could go to work! My legs were pretty fried when I got back on my bike to finish up, but I did :D:D

So much fun!

I'm in!!

I'm going to join in for my first CC PP workout!! I'll be at my IL's, but my ipod is charging and PP is ready to go!! :D I don't have Vol #4 but if I can, I'll add on a challenge from Vol 8 or 5.

Thanks for introducing me to Coach Sean, he's one of my facebook friends! *sigh*
 
I just did this yesterday... Will that count? I ride outdoors on the weekends. I so LOVE the music in the 4th challenge - the 4 hills. I just charge up that those hills!

Hey Liann!

Nope, there's no specific time. You just do it whenever you want/can. I think during the original "Press Play Day" Coach Sean had asked everyone to do it at a specific time but now we all just try to do it on the same day (some do it on other days if they can't do it on Saturday). It's just the idea that we're all doing this workout together. It's pretty inspirational.
 
Thank you Ms. Lee for the info on Press Play! I downloaded it Thursday night and couldn't wait to do it, so I just did it one hour ago! What an amazing workout! I don't think my elliptical will ever be the same, forget about those programs it came with, forget the vhs tapes of soap opera's that I used to watch when I made myself get on the elliptical.

Okay, I'm with Liann doing PP for the first time. I've got to look at my Vol 4 to see what to do with the challenge. I'm planning to load my iPod with PP and then add the V4 in there before the coach's notes? We'll see. ;)

I'm going to go to the community center down the street and use the treadmill there! Wish me luck that they don't have a 30 min time limit since I'm planning on a long run...

And Liann the place doesn't even open until 9 so I'll be ready about when you are!! ;)

VERY excited about this since I've been wanting to participate for months! :D

Me too! My first one! We traveled to my IL's for the weekend so I'll be scoping out a route to run tomorrow in the AM! I packed my running shoes & ipod so I'll be out early to PP!! :)

I did mine today but wasn't able to add the challenge. I just love the end of the month and I am so inspired by the thought of so many others out there sharing in Press Play. All of you Rock!

Ame, I always add on a steady state track, too, otherwise you'll be doing 2 challenges back-to-back without a rest. For my playlist, I added steady state 2 and challenge 3 from V4 right after the 5th PP challenge, followed by the PP cool down. I HTH :)

You're welcome!! It IS a really great workout, isn't it!? I've been doing it at least once a month for almost 2 years and I never get tired of it. If you like PP then you should check out the rest of Coach Sean's workouts. He's running a GREAT sale right now with quantity discounts. ;) :D
