    I got clearance from my doc to start exercising

    You are too funny!!! I vote for LIS since it has that fun factor. It will probably take a couple of workouts but once you do them your endurance will be right back there. Def keep us posted. Good idea for doing both weights and cardio as the craving will be fed in both departments :)
