Fit for T-Day Tuesday

Good morning ladies. Had a good workout this morning; 45 minutes on the elliptical. My abs are really starting to pop out now that i've gotten my binging under control. I was up at 5:15 and now I'm off to work. I'm finding my job is just emotionally draining (i'm in the acute care setting: ICU, CCU, RCU) plus its the same area of the same hosptital my father passed away in so i have some underlying feelings that are nagging me:(
Anyways, sorry to be a downer, hope you all have a nice day

Good Morning All!

Kariev,
I'm really proud of you for your success, and hang in there with work. Hopefully that rotation will be over soon- the month is short b/c of Thanksgiving!

I missed posting the last few days, I find when I'm not posting it's b/c I'm not working out . I started antibiotics yesterday and I am feeling a tad better. I have today off from work, so I will have no excuse not to workout- cardiocoach today, #7. My helpful DH moved all my exercise equipment upstairs to the rec room, and installed the spare VCR there, but cannot find the remote, so you can't use the DVD menus to play the workout. He said the remote will "turn up". I told him if it doesn't "turn up" by tomorrow, I'm buying a new VCR.

Wish me luck getting back on the wagon,
Have a great day all,
Lisa

I am at work booo :(. Everyone I know is off today but enough of the complaining. It is almost turkey day but not here yet thank god because I have a LOT of work to still do. Last week was great starting to do am's and this week not so much but just beginning so still have time to get cracking and need to stop with the attitude of didn't do the w/o on the rotation yesterday so the whole week is ruined when its not (the mind is powerful isn't it???)

Anyhoo, Sugarbean can't wait to hear about the great workout you are going or already had!! Always post because even if your not working out and may have eaten something that took you off track posting might help the rest of the day or night and not this all or nothing attitude that I have now too. We should change it :)

Kariev who can blame you about it being draining esp from what you had said about your dad but . . . maybe you can use that as your drive to help out other children's who's dads are in there?? I give you SO very much CREDIT b/c that takes a STRONG person to do that!!!

Back to work I go.

Hey guys,

Walked the kids to school, then started cardio coach, and ran for 5 minutes, then couldn't breathe, so I walked for an hour, about 3.5 miles. I might try again later, maybe I wasn't hydrated enough (so congestion was stuck).

Eriniski, sorry you're at work...when you're doing a rotation, if you miss a day, do you skip that workout, or do it a day later, and just be off-cycle? I am with you on the all or nothing mentality, I started October rotation, missed one, and then just stopped b/c I was bugged by not being in sync. I suppose this mentality is why I'm overweight :rolleyes::eek:

Well, have a great day,

Lisa

lisa,

omg i could have written your post. i usually would follow my own thing but this time i wanted to get back on track and i am doing one of the rotations, can't remember but it is for heavy lifting heavy cardio. i missed hst yesterday and now feel all out of sync b/c i know i wont be able to do and dont want to do a day later either. so . . . i am going to miss that one but should think this is not written in stone and that if i keep with this bad mentality i am never going to make progress so i need to let it go. so how about we let it slide this time and pick right back up from whatever day this is supposed to be and work from there???

Good Morning,

Eriniski, You and Lisa have great attitudes. Just move on and continue. You say you have a big family. I have 4 sisters and 4 brothers. One brother died many years ago, and I'm in the middle of all this. My sister has 9 children (one of hers died along time ago). My SIL has 8 children and another sister has 6. The rest of us either had 1 or 2. LOL!:) Your right about posting. I too don't post when I've been not up to par. I'll try and take your advice that you gave Lisa. I found out yesterday that someone had a suggestion I could use, so it is important to post, even if you don't feel like you should.

Lisa, I hope you feel much better soon. Also Hope you find the remote so you can exercise.:(

Kariev, Congratulations on your abs popping out. That is so cool! You are not a downer, if anything you are a very strong women. You went through difficult times, and still going through them. Give yourself a little more time, your going to be OK.;) I think you already know that though. I take my hat off to you for the kind of job you have, and your braveness to work in the same place where saddness in your life was so defined at one time. Do take care.

Hello to everyone else who will follow.

Janie
