    Opinions on Body Rolling, Yamuna?

Hi: I have been using a foam roller and various balls for myofacial release for a few years but I am the type that needs a video for this. I tried books and don't use them. Has anyone tried a Yamuna body rolling video? or class? or any other body rolling video? I have scoliosis and have to...

How fit should a group fit instructor be?

I have personally lost a lot of weight ( 2 babies) and have struggled with the last 10 pounds in the past. A lot of people do. I do not feel motivated by people who are also struggling. I do not need to see ultra ripped but certainly not overweight. I do enjoy working out with someone super...

    Vega One

I use the older version of vega one but when I run out I will use the new version the same anyway. I don't think it is a suitable pre/post workout shake because it has fat in it and I stick to faster digesting proteins and carbs around workouts unless it is a lighter cardio workout. I prefer...

    Anyone buy an elliptical lately?

have fun! I am sure you will love it. I was never one for programmed workouts on machines until I used the Heart rate programs on my octane, those rock! I have them on my pacemaster treadmill too now, it they seem to be one the few non-Cathe workouts that really push me. :D

    Anyone buy an elliptical lately?

go for the octane! Octane has the adjustable stride, it was the brand most recommended by our physiotherapist and a friend who sells all kinds of equipment. I have had mine for 3 years and I absolutely love it. I can't even use any other brands because my feet go numb or my knees hurt. I...

    a health/fitness book

I would love to see a book by Cathe, with all the suggestions above. I have already decided to cancel my Oxygen subsription (or not renew it) because I love her newsletter too, and no Tosca thank goodness. I am keeping my M and F subscription though since I always want more info. Cathe is so...

Presale and paying customs in Canada

it is hit or miss. I do a lot of online shopping from US to Canada and I am always surprised because it changes. I paid duties with LIS but not with STS and STS was twice the value. it was a good thing though, wouldn't want that reversed!

    square high step?

I have an oddball step that only goes to 10 inches, it is a great step but I can't add more risers to it. so I am going to get a new step but my question is can I use the standard size platform with many many risers for all of Cathe's workouts? (as used in 2 newest workouts) or are there some...

    Fifty Shades

my mistake I don't usually like female authors or chick lit, I am out of the loop without TV (and just busy).... I thought E.L. James sounded like a man...looked at the cover and figured it was murder/mystery something like that. then my two girls were tired of costco so I grabbed them as I...

    Coveting Jai's legs...

Jai is amazing! Her physique, her form, range of motion...everything. I like all the crews but every time someone isn't there I miss them. I really liked Nancy and Amanda and Deazie. I don't think a crew of 15 would be good but I have a hard time choosing. maybe Jai, Amanda, Lorraine, and...

YAY!! Did you pay any duties? anybody farther west receive them? I am in northern BC so it might be awhile for me. I have the downloads but I think I prefer DVD's, I am not so techno-savvy. :o

thanks everyone for weighing in, this is a really funny thread, I feel like I missed out because I was too young for workout wear in the 80's....and my mom saved me from perming my bangs thank goodness. I LOVE my Ta Ta Tamer! it isn't the most supportive but is great for yoga or around the...

    feel fit wear distracting

this is my personal opinion, and is just a comment.....while I love original stuff.... I am a huge fan of lululemon:o it would look so amazing on Cathe's crew! I am distracted by the fit of the clothes in the Low Impact Series. the seam on the butt cuts into the glutes, I find it so...
