I've been wondering off and on about how he's doing now. Thanks for the quick update. Conquering the AT is/was a brutal undertaking physically and mentally. I'm glad he's regulating his physical activities now with the focus on good health.
A couple of ideas that worked for me. (Your mileage may vary. :))
After a few uses, the nap of the carpet will flatten and the disc will slide easier. You can spray a bit of furniture polish on the bottom of the disc in the meantime.
Just wanted to share that I bought the Lastics DVD based on this thread. It is really great. I've only had it for 2 days, so I've done 2 of the 20 minute (17 and 19 min) segments. It's challenging, but what I love about is how much thought you put into each stretch and each component of that...
I found the stability ball portion brutal! I feel the same way when I do the ball portion of Drill Max. I think the ball's weight increases exponentially each minute and by the time you're done it weighs about 75 pounds. ;)
