Couldn't do Cardio Coach today? WTF???

<That's wonderful news! Sean makes 100% difference on that boring old thing, doesn't he?> I have CC's 1-6 plus Press Play and for some reason never connected them to my Nordic Track. Duh! LOL YES, Sean makes a huge difference - one thing I love about CC is you don't really notice the time...

Couldn't do Cardio Coach today? WTF???

If this is any consolation, your posts inspired me to dust off my Nordic Track! I had a great CC workout (CC#1) with it this morning. :-) So thanks!

    Question about ADD

Yep. It's the inattentive form of ADHD. My DD has it. She is a wonderful person but so scattered and disorganized.

    foot pain

Ditto the above suggestions. I've had PF for over a year and decided that I would try to lose weight and see if that helps before seeing a doctor, because the first thing the doctor would say is...I need to lose weight. Well, I don't need to pay someone to tell me that! I wear shoes around...

    Paris Hilton vs. Martha Stewart

The reckless driving and suspended license charges, while misdemeanors, happened while she was on probation for a DUI. That is why she was jailed. However, I think the terms of her incarceration should have been worked out between the city and county. On edit: I agree about Martha...

    Power Hour or MIS???

I like both. Power Hour was my first "real" weight workout and it has one of the toughest lunge sequences I've ever done. But I like the way MIS is structured and tend to do it more often than PH.

    Sitting here in sweaty shorts

Yes, but mostly at night. Yuck. Getting old is a bummer.

Low Max on a 6" step

RE: Low Max on a 6 Really?? An 8" step tends to trip me up, so it's good to know there isn't much difference calorie wise.

    Donate Blood

I used to give blood fairly regularly but the last few times, I passed out. Yuck. My hat goes off to you regular donors.

? For those who drink wine for the health benefit

I don't know anyone, including myself, who drinks wine for the "health benefits." That's like eating M&M's for the zinc.

Were you bullied as a child?

Yup, but I gave as good as I got.

Your Fave "Someone Ripped My Heart Out" Songs

RE: Your Fave Well, ((hugs)) anyway. :-) My favorite break up song is "She's Gone" by Hall & Oates. Youch - those lyrics! On edit: Oh gosh, I forgot this one. I had lost custody of my daughter years ago (and since gotten her back, thank God!), and "You Are My Sunshine" would make me bawl.

Favorite back from a break workout?

I like to do circuits when coming back from a break. C & W, LIC or any of the high step workouts. I take the weight and intensity down a notch.

    Moving to Michigan!

Welcome! I live in the Detroit area and can't say much about the west side of the state, except to concur that it is beautiful! I love Michigan and am proud to have been born and raised here.

What's the WORST movie you've seen?

Judge Dredd. It was horrid! The guy I was dating at the time just raved about it. Needless to say the relationship didn't last long. I didn't like Napoleon Dynamite, but love the one-liners from that movie. My DD can do a dead-on ND impersonation. LOL

    The Pyramids?

You won't regret the investment in 8, 10, and 15 lb. dumbbells. You will progress faster if you use the most challenging weight you can lift with good form.

    which ones are the best???

I don't have all of Cathe's workouts, but of the ones I do have (and do regularly), I find Gym Style Legs and the leg blast premix from Butts & Gutts to be especially effective. I've only done it twice, but I've heard people say Pyramid Lower Body is great, as well.

    Sharing My Heart and Pictures

<Not everyone who reads these forums looks like Cathe, but I do not expect you to understand what it feels like if you have never personally battled obesity and lived as a fat woman in a society that hates you based on nothing more than your outward appearance.> You worded this so well. I've...

    It's Sad

I guess I'm one of those sad folks. I consider fitness to be a hobby because I enjoy it and set aside time several times a day to do it. I look forward to it. It fulfills me in a way. I consider myself blessed because many people hate exercising - I enjoy it, and even crave it. As far...

Do Some Peop;e REALLY Eat This Way
