Couldn't do Cardio Coach today? WTF???

I only made it through half of the second challenge today and actually had to quit! I don't know if it's because I had the incline set too high on my Nordic Track for the first challenge, or maybe I've been overdoing it on the cardio this week?

I had my 2 Nordic Track sessions last weekend. Taekwondo on Mon, Wed & Friday. KPC on Thursday. And inline skating for a half hour every morning with the dogs. The Nordic Track sessions are about 55 minutes each. TKD is about 30 minutes of cardio, but not constant. And there's a bit of "coasting" with the dogs, to let them catch their breath.

Last night's TKD class was the most instense cardio class we've ever had, I think and I think the dogs must have drank rocket fuel before the run this morning, because they were in rare form.

I guess I won't fret too much about it. I do have a tkd class in a couple hours and there's always tomorrow to give Sean another go. I'll keep my incline lower next time and see how that goes.

Yes, sounds like the your body said "when". It happens to all of us. Rest up a bit and then hit it again.

This happened to me yesterday Donna. I did a heavy leg workout Thursday evening about 6ish and got up to do Step Blast Friday. I got up at 6 ate and worked out at 7. About 22 mins in I just could not go anymore. My legs were like lead and I was way more out of breath than I should have been. So I just stopped. Did my step routine this morning and it was much better. Although I am still feeling it in the legs. So you are not alone LOL!!

If this is any consolation, your posts inspired me to dust off my Nordic Track! I had a great CC workout (CC#1) with it this morning. :) So thanks!

That's wonderful news! Sean makes 100% difference on that boring old thing, doesn't he? I actually look forward to my skiing workouts, so I was disappointed in this morning's performance. Perhaps tomorrow I'll ski first THEN take the dogs out for their run.

Still, I like taking them out on my skates before everyone else and their dogs get up. I ended up on my butt 4 times Thursday because I went for an evening run and there were too many other dogs. I've got a bruise to remember it.

I think you just need a bit of rest. I've been hitting it hard lately with the Gym Styles, then I did BMax2 this morning and had to lower my step height after the 1st 2 segments. I was wiped! Deep down, I know I would benefit from a couple days completely off, but I'm on a roll, darn it. Maybe the combination of the daily skating along with the TKD class last night just did it. You'll be back with Sean in no time....!

I have CC's 1-6 plus Press Play and for some reason never connected them to my Nordic Track. Duh! LOL YES, Sean makes a huge difference - one thing I love about CC is you don't really notice the time going by. I used to love Nordic Tracking but it is rather monotonous, but this might get me back on it regularly. I had forgotten what an efficient, sweat fest workout it is. :7
