    Friends borrowing Cathe Dvds

I'd give one as a gift before ever lending them out. My 16 year old loves KPC but she's under threat of serious bodily harm if she does not return it to the shelf, exactly as she found it. <-- protective of Cathe DVDs

Little sister don't you do what your big sister done....

I'm pretty much an agnostic, but my Grandma's favorite song was "How Great Thou Art." Elvis did a wonderful version of that song, and it makes me think of her. He was quite the underrated gospel singer.

can I tell you my dirty little secret??

It took FOREVER to do Butts & Guts. The dread factor was just too much. But once I tried it, I liked it. Go figure.

    BelovedHeather’s Road Trip Novel!!!!

Hi Heather! What a wonderful post. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. I saw you in some of the pictures posted by others during the road trip weekend. You are a beautiful woman! And yes, an inspiration as well. Take care! -Christine

WORKOUT BLENDER SOFTWARE! You Just Blew My Mind!!!!!

It looks really cool! I'm hoping it's like iTunes, where you have the option of loading up existing DVD's or buying clips individually. Since we don't yet have a digital TV (or a video-capable iPod), I'll probably end up using my computer to burn DVD's, then play them on my regular DVD player.

Will there be road trip blog updates?

I second that emotion. Blog updates would be cool for those of us who couldn't make it this year. :-)

    Why get married?

ITA with this, except I'm a mom. :-) As Rick Nelson once said, "You can't please everyone, so you've got to please yourself."

Your Experiences With Less Exercise = More Benefits

My results were phenomenal when I cut back on the cardio and focused more on weights. I'm trying to get back into the groove before school starts...

anyone put gps tracking on their teen phone?

I avoided the freedom speech by being very brief, but apparently not very clear. LOL I've found that in order to keep sane, I have to relax a little bit. My DD is coming up on 17, BTW.

anyone put gps tracking on their teen phone?

I hope you're not implying that I don't care, or worry about my teenager. I do. The bottom line is, I trust her. Anything can happen, with or without GPS.

You know you're a Cathe nut when...

The other thread inspired me. I watch Cathe videos for entertainment, when I'm not working out. DH thinks I'm off my rocker, but I love them. Anyone else??

My hands down favorite is #3. I like to double the hill challenge. I also like #6 with Candace and Press Play.

    Workplace etiquette

I'm not an asshat, I swear! I've found that telling (in a nice way, of course) instead of asking is the best way to get what I need. It works the same way in all of my interpersonal relationships, not just at the workplace. It works at work, with my husband - heck, even with potty training...

    Workplace etiquette

#2 makes your blood boil? There was an incident at my work where a co-worker asked for a day off so she could attend the funeral of her nephew, who was killed in a car accident. She *asked* our boss, who told her to count the day off as vacation, not as a personal day. WTH! I told her...

    Girls and Weight Issues

I have 2 daughters, one 7, one nearing 17. IMO, a trip to the pediatrician would be more helpful than an eating disorders counselor. So far there doesn't seem to be any evidence of an ED going on here. The ped. can explain normal growth and weight gain, and help your DD anticipate the...

    Interesting article on bottled water

I'm 100% behind the "back to the tap" movement. I suggest buying a sports bottle (or two, or three) at the store and using that instead of the plastic bottles. Wash it and put some hot water and lemon in it for a while before using it for the first time. Plastic bottles are actually quite...
